Lures down physical attackers which usually has free switch-ins like M-Lix, Dugtrio or Malamar. A physical spread would avoid the OHKO from these mons with counter but would allow it to take supereffective STAB attacks from scarfed fight mons like Medicham or Emboar.

EVs to outspeed things that want to outspeed uninvested base 70's by one point. SubToxic is a well-known combo that takes advatage of stuff like Mola that want to switch out because they can't do shit, Sub, and weaken the switchin with either toxic or Seismic Toss. Alternatively, you could use enough speed to outspeed just stuff like Mola; it's really up to personal preference.

Careful Nature

Basically a weather support set that works quite well on Sun or Rain teams that need a specially defensive weather setter that checks threats like Tyrantrum. It does suck away your momentum due to not having U-Turn like Uxie, but it's super specially bulky which lets it stick around for a while to set up weather to support your sweepers. You can even use Explosion with a more offensive spread to sacrifice Registeel once it's done it's job and do some damage (Or y'know 0 damage because Registeel's Attack is really bad xD) Overall a neat and underrated set and probably the most viable other option Registeel has.

This is a pretty interesting set. You can trap shit like Alomomola's that try to burn you, choiced Pokemon like Emboar that go for Wild Charge or Tyrant/Flygon that is locked into Outrage, etc. Doesn't always work but pretty amusing when it does. Obviously use another Pokemon that can set up Stealth Rock if you're using this. You can also trap stuff like Roar-less Mega Steelix, Seismitoad, and Rhyperior if you use Magnet Rise.
