The Indigo Disk (Plot Stuff)

When we were still enjoying the views of the land of Kitakami, we received a phone call from Director Clavell!

We just had a school tour with people from the Blueberry Academy! And we heard so many exciting things from that place!

Oh my! We were told we got a chance to visit Blueberry Academy as an exchange student!

I was so surprised too! But I am also really excited to go to the Blueberry Academy!

If we are going to represent the Naranja Academy, I should go back to our school uniform!

Time to change back to my original hairstyle as well!

I think we are looking good and sharp!

I can't even wait a day to talk to the Director from the Blueberry Academy!

I wanted to go to the Director Office, but we were stopped by a mysterious man in white suit!

Well, Director Clavell arrived just in time! We almost got taken away by this man!

What a coincidence! The man in white suit was actually the Director of the Blueberry Academy anyways!

Well, I'm delighted to meet and thank Director Cyrano in person!

We were picked for the study tour last time because of good luck, but I don't assume it's luck again for this exchange program, right?

We were actually recommended by Carmine for the exchange scheme! I need to thank her later too!

Of course, I would not turn down this precious opportunity to visit the Blueberry Academy!

Even Director Clavell encouraged me to go!

Our Treasure Hunt has never stopped, and it's time for my treasures to hunt!

We followed Director Cyrano to the Blueberry Academy! Time for a new journey!

Arrival (Plot Stuff)

It took a long plane ride, but we finally arrived at the Blueberry Academy we have been hearing so much about!

The Blueberry Academy is so different from the Naranja Academy! For one, Blueberry Academy is built underwater!

And second, this place is filled with the blue color! Seems like Director Cyrano really likes this color!

As a fruit lover, I do wonder why this place is named after blueberries!

The name was actually meaningful in the language of flowers and fruits! I say I already really like this place!

That clear explanation was offered by someone named Lacey!

Director Cyrano introduced me to Lacey, and it seems like I already made my name among students studying in the Blueberry Academy!

As expected, Lacey is actually one of the students studying here, a second-year one too!

I do notice Director Cyrano tends to not remember things in general.

In fact, I also think that Lacey would be a good guide to introduce me to things around the Academy!

Isn't Lacey a brave one? She dares to talk to Director Cyrano like that, and he didn't mind at all!

I guess that was supposed to be light-hearted, and Lacey gladly picked up the responsibility to show me around!

We took a few steps into the Academy, and I already noticed a battle court!

As we heard from Kieran and Carmine, the Blueberry Academy puts a great focus on Pokemon battling!

Students even battle at the entrance! That sounds like a great place to be!

Lacey told us another cool feature in the academy: wild Pokemon terastallize.

Well, it wasn't anything too crazy for us, but I'm glad to see the fun of Terastallization spreading around the world!

And the Blueberry Academy even has advanced technologies to control Terastallization!

The more I find out about the Blueberry Academy, the more excited I get!

Talking about battling leaves me itching for some actual battling! And Director Cyrano suggested me to battle Lacey!

The Elite Four? The League Club? All I gathered is that Lacey is one of the strongest trainers around!

Woah! Lacey's father is a Unova Gym Leader! Though it seems like Lacey does not want to disclose that information, oops!

Well, I don't want to turn down the Director's offer either, so I'm glad to battle Lacey!

I've not tried Double Battles that many times, but I'm willing to try them out, if students in the Blueberry Academy like them so much!

First Battle at the Academy

We started our first battle at the Blueberry Academy, and our first Double Battle since so long!

Lacey sent out Plusle and Minun, while we had Raspberry and Cantaloupe!

And I'm representing Naranja Academy and Paldea! I'll try my best too!

Raspberry started the battle with a Sleep Powder to put Minun to sleep!

Minun did not get to do anything because of that!

Plusle went for Discharge, which did not affect Minun thanks to Volt Absorb! What a well-thought strategy!

Luckily for us, Cantaloupe is immune to Discharge too! And Raspberry was the only one to take damage!

Cantaloupe struck Plusle with a super-effective Headlong Rush!

We didn't have much of a strategy going on, so we just went with the basic type weaknesses!

Unfortunately, Cantaloupe lost some defenses, but Plusle was gone in one hit!

We broke Lacey's Plus-Minus combo, and she sent out Excadrill next!

Minun was still asleep after all that!

Excadrill went and drop some Rockslides on us! That hurt a lot! Excadrill is a strong Pokemon!

For strong Pokemon like Excadrill, an effective strategy is to lower their Attack with Charm!

That Rock Slide was not very effective on Cantaloupe, but it was enough to make her flinch!

Excadrill went for another Rock Slide, which still did so much even after Charm!

Raspberry went down, but he did a lot already!

While Minun was still sleeping, Cantaloupe went for Headlong Rush!

Headlong Rush was more than enough to knock Minun out, though we had yet another round of Defense drops!

Lacey only had Excadrill left, and we sent out Avocado to finish the job!

Excadrill went for Iron Head this time, and Avoacdo took the hit quite well!

Unfortunately, Avocado flinched from that Iron Head!

Cantaloupe went for Headlong Rush yet again, hitting Excadrill for a super-effective hit!

Excadrill is a bulky Pokemon, but it couldn't stand against Cantaloupe's strrong hit!

Our first battle at the Blueberry Academy was a victory! Though we may need to think about more Double battle strategies!

Ready for Adventure

That battle was really fun! I think I'm getting the hang of Double Battles!

It would also be interesting to see how trainers in Blueberry Academy use their Tera Orbs!

After that warm-up battle, I think I'm officially becoming part of the Blueberry Academy!

We were given the Blueberry Academy uniform, as well as some more styling options!

And we can finally begin our lives in the Blueberry Academy!

I'm exciting to see what else the Blueberry Academy offers! The Terarium sounds like a fun place to explore!

Before we moved on, we made some team adjustments to better prepare for Double Battles, like how Raspberry can be used to set up Tailwind!

Salal can learn Rage Powder and Life Dew; both are great tools to have!

As for Honeydew, she hasn't had too much time to shine ...

I think now is the right time for Honeydew to evolve! But ...

Honeydew evolved into the Hisuian form of Lilligant!

Honeydew is now a Grass/Fighting-type Pokemon with a ton of Attack and Speed!

Time to head on to the Terarium for exploration!

First Look at the Terarium

Woah! The Terarium looks so huge! Not what I was expecting from the outside of the Academy!

The Terarium was built with high-levelled technology to create all sorts of environment for Pokemon to live in!

The first area is a dry desert place called the Savanna Biome!

Next up is a tropical beach area known as the Coastal Biome!

Then we have a rugged mountainous area called the Canyon Biome!

The final area is a chilling and freezing place known as the Polar Biome!

And different Pokemon live in different biomes! That must mean there are many, many species of Pokemon living here!

The Coastal Biome sounds like a perfect place to find Grass-type Pokemon! So, I'm most interested in that!

And that is Lacey's favorite biome too! Maybe Lacey is interested in Grass-type Pokemon too?

And we were just in time for a practical battle class! In the Coastal Biome, too!

I normally avoid going to classes, but I'm really interested in how Blueberry Academy conducts their classes!

Lacey needed to rush to the class, and she left us to explore the Terarium on our own! That way we could do some exploring already!

Let's roam around the Terarium like a wild Sawsbuck!

I'll treasure this opportunity to live a student life at the Blueberry Academy!

We needed to head to the Coastal Biome for the class, but we'd need to pass through the Savanna Biome first!

So, our first job was to explore around Savanna Biome and right off the gate I already found something!

There are wild Exeggcute living around the Savanna Biome, and we immediately caught one!

Lychee the Exeggcute is our first team member caught in the Terarium!

Other than Exeggcute, the Savanna Biome mostly consists of Bug-type Pokemon running around!

And some Rhyhorn charging at us! This place is full of cool and dangerous Pokemon!

Lychee's first battle is a major success!

I think Lychee will really like this Lucky Egg!

Riding the Wind

After seeing what wild Pokemon live in the Savanna Biome, it was time to check out the trainers around as well!

We had Raspberry and Apricot fighting Dodrio and Exeggutor!

Apricot started the battle with a Fake Out on Dodrio!

Raspberry set up Tailwind, which boosted our Speed and triggered Apricot's Wind Rider at the same time!

And Dodrio couldn't move since it flinched from Fake Out!

Exeggutor landed a super-effective Sludge Bomb on Apricot, but we were still fine!

Apricot used Sucker Punch on Exeggutor, but it managed to hang on! But we knew Exeggutor was planning an attack!

Raspberry then finished Exeggutor up with a U-turn!

That knocked out Exeggutor and allowed Raspberry to retreat!

Time to send Hawthorn out next and hopefully cleanup Dodrio as well!

Dodrio used Sunny Day, probably trying to support Exeggutor! Though it ended up helping Hawthorn more!

Apricot went with Sucker Punch on Dodrio and almost knocked it out!

Unfortunately since Dodrio hung on, Apricot got revenged on with a Quick Attack!

Hawthorn ran faster under the strong sunlight and finished Dodrio with a Double-Edge!

That sure was a fun and wild strategy using Tailwind by our side!

I noticed that Lychee always has one of his heads looking at us when he gets sent in battles ...

This place is too muddy for plants to grow! But I'll take this TM for right now!

What? Why don't you play in somewhere cleaner?

We had Raspberry and Honeydew fighting Krokorok and Sandile!

Both of the opposing Pokemon had Intimidate to lower our Attack! That's not great for us!

Raspberry hit Krokorok and made a U-turn trip!

And after that, Raspberry retreated to let Apricot out!

Honeydew then followed up with a Petal Blizzard, which would give Apricot an Attack boost instead of damaging her!

Petal Blizzard is a strong move that damage every Pokemon around, and it was enough to knock out both Krokorok and Sandile!

As if two sandy crocodiles were not enough, the final Pokemon we fought was a Krookodile, also with Intimidate.

Intimidate offset Apricot's Attack boost, so we used our Petal Blizzard strategy again to buff Apricot!

But Honeydew couldn't do much damage because she had been intimidated too many times!

Krookokdile threw a Sludge Bomb at Honeydew, but thankfully, that didn't do much!

Apricot then swiftly sliced through Krookodile with a Leaf Blade! Victory was ours!

Too Many Birds

The Tauros roaming around the Savanna Biome are not the same kinds as the ones we see in Paldea, but they are still aggressive nonetheless!

I don't think I'm good at Double battles, but I sure like to try out more strategies!

We had Apricot and Honeydew fighting Vullaby and Doduo! Honestly, that didn't look like a great matchup!

We went for Petal Blizzard on Honeydew again and rose Apricot's Attack!

The opposing Pokemon were both birds, which meant that they could take our hits quite well!

And that also meant Doduo could land a super-effective Drill Peck on Honeydew!

Thanks to the Attack boost, Apricot did significant damage to Vullaby with Rock Slide and knocked out Doduo as well!

Vullaby is a bulky Pokemon, and it went for Iron Defense to further boost its Defense!

We sent out Salal to fill in Honeydew's spot!

And Apricot just went and knocked Vullaby out with another Rock Slide anyways!

I appreciate seeing wild Sawsbuck running around the biome! That makes me very happy!

What I do not appreciate, is how we can get trapped by wild Trapinch!

Not that we could see them clearly, but there was a massive outbreak of Deerling!

*cough cough* The whole reason why I'm always out exploring is to avoid doing homework.

Let's try out Salal and Honeydew combo against Vibrava and Shieldon!

Shieldon could not do anything against Honeydew's Axe Kick!

Vibrava tried to Air Slash through Honeydew, but she managed to take that hit!

Salal used Matcha Gotcha and did a lot to Vibrava!

Honeydew then winded up a Petal Blizzard! Although Salal also took some damage, at least we managed to take Vibrava out!

We picked up a TM for Coaching! Sounds like a great move to use in Double Battles! We're saving this for later!

Our next battle started with Kiwano and Honeydew against Vibrava (again?) and Mandibuzz (again but bigger)!

Honeydew's Petal Blizzard is not only good for Apricot, but it also works well with Kiwano's Sap Sipper!

But Petal Blizzard didn't do that much against Vibrava and especially Mandibuzz!

Mandibuzz is a defensive Pokemon that isn't great at attacking, so Kiwano managed to take an Air Slash pretty well!

Vibrava hit Honeydew with a super-effective Aerial Ace, but Honeydew took that!

Kiwano might be last to move, but he struck Vibrava and Mandibuzz with a strong Rock Slide, knocking out Vibrava!

After Mandibuzz got heavily damaged last round, Honeydew quickly followed up with an Axe Kick!

There are actually wild Exeggutor wandering around the Savanna Biome, but I think we'll stick with Lychee!

There are wild zebras running around too! Good for those who love zebras!

We picked up a TM for Knock Off! This may be a useful addition to the team for removing held items!

Big Bad Bugs

Huh, what's up ahead?

Could it be this Farigiraf?

We were almost at the Coastal Biome! Just one more trainer battle!

Pretty sure the Farigiraf wants to talk to you, Kev.

Uh-oh.

We had Salal and Hawthorn against Scyther and Scizor! This looks rough.

Right off the bat, Hawthorn was already knocked out by Scyther's Aerial Ace!

Luckily, Salal had some decent defenses to take Scizor's X-Scissor!

Salal's Matcha Gotcha damaged both Scizor and Scyther, but that didn't do much to either of them!

We sent out our powerhouse, Apricot next!

Apricot used Fake Out on Scyther and made it flinch!

Well, Scizor avenged its bug brother with a strong X-Scissor! Maybe we shouldn't have sent Apricot out against these mean bugs!

Salal used Matcha Gotcha again and still didn't do much to the bugs!

We were down two Pokemon already and we sent out Kiwano next to fight these two big bugs!

We adjusted our strategy and went for Rage Powder for Salal to attract attention!

Scyther is not just a big bug, but it is also a thief!

Scyther stole our Coba Berry! Kids, remember don't be a thief!

Kiwano then went for a Rock Slide and knocked out Scyther! Scizor avoided the hit, but at least Scyther was gone!

Scizor avenged Scyther with a X-Scissor on Salal and Salal couldn't take that hit!

We sent out Honeydew next to fight Scizor! 2-on-1 should be easier for us!

We tried to put Scizor to sleep with Sleep Powder, but Scizor avoided that!

Kiwano then used Rock Slide on Scizor, but Scizor was way too beefy!

Scizor then cut through Honeydew with X-Scissor, but Honeydew took that hit fine!

Honeydew went for Sleep Powder again and this time it worked fine! A sleeping Scizor shouldn't be that big of a problem!

Kiwano went for Rock Slide again, but Scizor was too sleepy to do anything about that!

Honeydew finished the sleeping bug off with a strong Axe Kick! Who knew flowers could beat metal bugs so easily!

Finally, Scizor was gone as well!

That was such a tough fight for us, we lost 3 Pokemon against just two Pokemon on the opposing side!

Lychee might still be a new addition, but he needs a power-up already to help us out!

By touching a Leaf Stone, Lychee evolved into an Exeggutor!

Lychee lost a few heads, but he got so much stronger in terms of his Special Attack!

I bet Lychee loves playing around with other Exeggutor!

We finally got to the Coastal Biome! Let's see what's around here and get to our practical battle class!

Dance Party

The first thing we saw in the Coastal Biome was a beach! Though I'm not sure if it is safe swimming here with so many jellyfish around!

But we now have the newly evolved Lychee with us, Tentacool and Tentacruel should not be big problems! Still don't like swimming though.

Hm, that's a good point. Maybe they can build a forest inside a forest next!

Our first battle in the Coastal Biome was Kiwano and Honeydew fighting two Oricorio!

We went with the Petal Blizzard strategy to boost Kiwano's Attack!

Though it didn't do much damage to the two Oricorio! That might be bad!

The Oricorio started a Revelation Dance party! The first one struck Kiwano with its dance!

Then the second one followed it up with its Dancer ability!

Then the second Oricorio went again to use Revelation Dance on Honeydew!

Which was then copied by the first Oricorio to finish Honeydew off! They did four attacks in one turn! That's cheating!

Luckily, we still had Kiwano with us, who avenged Honeydew with Rock Slide!

And those two Oricorio were immediately gone! We must be careful when we see Oricorio again next time!

We found Oddish Leaves dropped on the ground! That must mean there are some Oddish running around this place!

Oh! Is that a flower lei I just saw?

Fake Grass-type alert! Comfey is actually not a Grass-type Pokemon despite its flowery look!

And the fact that Comfey knows many Grass-type moves, like Grassy Terrain!

Anyways, although Comfey looks really cute, we still cannot catch it!

Alolan Forms

*whisper* We fought a Scyther and a Scizor but everything else was fine.

The Blueberry Academy put much effort in creating suitable environment for different kinds of Pokemon, and the Coastal Biome is perfect for Grass-type Pokemon!

Some Pokemon might even look completely different if they adapted a regional form!

Our assignment was to catch an Alolan Form Pokemon and bring it to the teacher!

The only Alolan form I know is the world-famous long-necked Alolan Exeggutor! I've only seen those on TVs before!

Maybe this trainer can tell us more about Alolan Exeggutor?

Well, Alolan Grimer and Alolan Diglett are new, but they were not what I wanted to see!

Specifically, I don't like how Alolan Grimer is still so venomous!

Anyways, we went for Petal Blizzard again and knocked out Diglett in one hit!

There it is! Alolan Exeggutor! Its neck is so long I cannot even see its heads!

Another angle to admire the majestic beast!

I don't care how this battle goes; all I want is an Alolan Exeggutor for myself!

How does that thing even fit in a Poke Ball?!

Well, we found an Alolan Exeggutor sleeping on a mountain!

Alolan Exeggutor is so tall it is an excellent Pokemon for scouting!

We caught ourselves an Alolan Exeggutor, which is a Grass/Dragon-type Pokemon!

Let's welcome our newest team member, Longan the Alolan Exeggutor!

Gloomy Day

We showed our teacher Longan, and we were approved of finishing the assignment!

Alolan Exeggutor no longer relies on psychic powers and adapts to the Dragon-type!

I got to finish the assignment quickly because I was really excited to catch an Alolan Exeggutor!

And I am glad to represent the Naranja Academy and show everyone how good Naranja students are at Pokemon as well!

No homework for me since I finished my assignment!

Well, classes at the Blueberry Academy seem to be pretty fun, although I still prefer adventuring outside instead!

Speaking of tasks, there are something called Blueberry Quests in the Blueberry Academy!

We could get a currency called the Blueberry Points to use around the academy if we finished Blueberry Quests!

Seems like Lacey will stop guiding from now on! I'm sure we'll see her again soon!

Right after Lacey left, Carmine called us! And we got to be classmates now too!

It has been a while since we last saw Carmine, so we agreed to meet at somewhere called the Central Plaza!

Before we headed off to the Central Plaza, we saw some cute Pokemon in the wild!

First, we caught Bellossom, the Flower Pokemon!

Let's welcome Passionfruit the Bellossom! He loves dancing so much he can learn Quiver Dance!

According to our information, we can find more Grass-type Pokemon around this area!

But we found more Oricorio dancing around than Bellossom!

We also found a Solar Blade TM, sounds like a great Grass-type move!

Woah! This trainer has two Gloom on their team!

For a field filled with Grass-type Pokemon, strong sunlight would be greatly appreciated!

Lychee can run faster under strong sunlight, and he attacked Gloom with Extrasensory!

The opposing trainer had the same idea as we do and tried to set up sun as well!

Wait? Why do you have both of your Pokemon use Sunny Day on the same turn?

One of the Gloom went for Protect next! Not sure what the plan is, but ok?

That was fine to us, as Raspberry landed a U-turn on the other Gloom!

Raspberry retreated and we sent out Longan for double Exeggutor power!

The trainer has a Vileplume as well! Honestly, I really love this team selection!

Vileplume also got to move faster under sunlight and struck Lychee with a super-effective Venoshock!

And it managed to take an Extrasensory in return as well!

And Gloom used Acid Spray on Longan, which was a strong hit that also lowered his Special Defense!

Even though Longan is no longer a Psychic-type Pokemon, he can still use Psychic-type moves like Psyshock!

And Vileplume was gone! We need to find one as well quickly!

And for the next turn, Gloom protected itself, which means that our double Exeggutor could not do anything!

On the next round, Lychee used Extrasensory which got close to knocking Gloom out!

Gloom used Acid Spray again, this time on Lychee, which was enough to finish him off! That was unfortunate!

But Longan avenged Lychee with a powerful Psyshock and Gloom was knocked out!

Longan was the ultimate victor of the sun battle, even though he doesn't get Chlorophyll!

We saw some Bellossom dancing around the beach! Would be better without all these crabs running around trying to punch me!

We were looking for some Oddish around, we found a Cottonee instead!

Lychee is now the Pokemon we use for catching Pokemon because he can use Hypnosis!

We caught ourselves a soft and airy cotton puff!

Loquat the Cottonee is our next new member! She might not look like it, but she's a little Prankster!

And we got what we were looking for! A wild Vileplume!

I think we scared the other wild Gloom away ...

Catching Vileplume was pretty tough, but we managed to do it at the end!

Plum the Vileplume is now part of our team as well!

We also caught a Gloom and an Oddish in the wild, just to fill in our Pokedex! Since we already got Passionfruit and Plum!

Synchro Machine

The Central Plaza, as the name suggests, lies in the central part of the Terarium!

Someone at the Central Plaza asked for our help for an amazing experiment!

The experiment was to synchronize my mind with that of Longan!

I walked around and moved as Longan! I had full control of his body! That's amazing!

We also got some Rare Candies for helping out! Can I sign up for more experiments?

This time we helped out for the synchronization in Pokemon battles!

We were able to pick up items as Longan!

And we also fought some Geodude as Longan! This was so much fun!

We obtained the Synchro Machine, which allows us to synchronize with our Pokemon anytime we want!

And we can synchronize with any Pokemon we like, too!

We first tried out the synchronization with Guava and walked around the Central Plaza!

During the synchronization, my actual body would freeze in place! It's odd to look at myself like that ...

We also synchronized with Passionfruit, and he floats above the ground! We can't even talk to other Bellossom on ground!

We went back to walking around with Longan using the Let's Go feature, but he almost got frozen!

After playing around with the Synchro Machine, we also took a look at the TM Machine, which received some updates as well!

There were many strong moves added to the TM Machine, most notably Petal Blizzard!

vs Carmine

Near the battlefield at the Central Plaza, we found Carmine talking to someone.

We saw that Carmine is still her usual energetic self!

And her friend just walked away without introducing themselves!

That person is actually Carmine's classmate, which leads me to believe she's also a strong trainer!

This time we met again, but as classmates instead of students from different schools!

Carmine has been busy doing research in different regions! And she got to train her Pokemon up!

And of course, Carmine would not miss such a perfect opportunity for a friendly match!

We were challenged by Carmine, this time as a Double battle!

We led with Raspberry and Redcurrant, fighting Carmine's Toucannon and Mightyena, who got Intimidate!

Toucannon started off the battle by heating up its beak! That sounds like bad things for us!

Our strategy was to have Raspberry set up Sunny Day!

Redcurrant can fire off stronger Flamethrower under the sun, which did a lot to Toucannon!

Mightyena bit Raspberry with Super Fang and cut his HP into half!

After waiting for the whole turn, Toucannon finally struck with its Beak Blast!

Redcurrant just hung on with her Focus Sash! But at least she could still keep going!

Toucannon went for Beak Blast again! We must stop it before it could fire off the hit!

Redcurrant went for Flamethrower on Toucannon again, which was enough to finish it off!

Raspberry used Sleep Powder and put Mightyena to sleep! That dog should be safe for right now!

Carmine sent in Scrafty next, who also had Intimidate to lower our Attack!

Redcurrant went for Flamethrower on Scrafty, but Scrafty is a pretty bulky Pokemon!

Raspberry, on the other hand, retreated with U-turn! He couldn't do that much damage though thanks to Intimidate!

Knowing type effectiveness is half the battle!

We sent out Honeydew instead! She should be able to do much more to the opposing team!

Scrafty used Ice Punch, originally meant for Raspberry, on Honeydew!

Just like Redcurrant, Honeydew moves faster under strong sunlight and struck with an Axe Kick first!

Axe Kick was more than enough to finish Scrafty! I bet that hurt a lot!

Redcurrant knocked out the sleeping Mightyena with Flamethrower!

Carmine just had one Pokemon left, and it's her Sinistcha!

Carmine also got to use Terastallization and Tera her Sinistcha into pure Grass-type!

Which was perfect for our plan, since Honeydew was trying to kick Sinistcha!

We know Grass-type Pokemon more than anyone else! Flamethrower should be strong enough to finish Sinistcha!

Kieran (Plot Stuff)

Carmine also got a lot stronger, just like what she told us!

Actually, I have been wondering how come I haven't seen Kieran yet ...

And we overheard someone speaking! That sounded a lot like Kieran!

Kieran looked a lot different than what we remember, but I'm sure that's him!

Kieran was talking to someone else about training Pokemon and being weak!

He was also talking about a club. I wonder what kind of club that is!

I am glad to see Kieran again, but when he acts like that! I wonder what's wrong!

He's probably still upset about the school trip ...

Oh no, someone else was watching us too!

Meeting Drayton (Plot Stuff)

We met a young man, who seemed to have heard of me already! I wonder how many people were talking about me in the Academy!

The man is called Drayton, and it seems like Carmine doesn't like him that much!

Drayton is a strong trainer! I can tell just from looking at him!

The first thing Drayton asked about me was about Kieran! They must know each other well!

The clubroom? What kind of club are we talking about?

Clubs do sound like a fun way to settle in a new school!

Drayton didn't elaborate much about the club, but he wanted us to go with him to the clubroom!

So, we just followed him to the clubroom!

Carmine was worried Keiran must show up here, but Drayton assured us that won't happen.

Drayton welcomed us to the League Club! We heard about it before, but we weren't offered much explanation!

The League Club is a way for students to test out their strengths!

Just like the Paldean League, the top four trainers are called the Elite Four!

Drayton and the girl that Carmine was talking to are both Elite Four members! And if I recall correctly, Lacey is one of them too!

Carmine was not one of the Elite Four, which means that the Elite Four are even stronger than her!

A club about Pokemon battling sounds fun and exciting! I immediately agreed to joining the club!

Drayton accepted us as a trial member, and we are now allowed to use the equipment in the clubroom!

We can even use our BPs to help out other clubs!

We experimented by helping out the Baseball Club!

Mitch taught us some new ways to throw our Poke Balls! Cool!

Drayton gave us a Catching Charm, which would reward us with more critical catches!

We also received a set of the League Club Uniform, which is what Drayton is wearing!

Drayton also told us we can have all the snacks, but Carmine warned us about the hygiene.

Drayton invited us to the cafeteria for more details of the League Club!

Well, that's not exactly what he told me, but I'm sure he meant it like that.

Well, a date CAN mean a type of fruit.

Carmine wasn't too happy about what Drayton said, and she wanted to talk in a more private place!

Before that, we took a look at the computer to see what we can do!

Thanks to Mitch from the Baseball Club, I now throw my Poke Balls with the smug style!

I also noticed a Terarium Club that would increase the kinds of Pokemon residing in the Terarium!

Helping Our Friends (Plot Stuff)

We went to my Dorm Room in the Blueberry Academy!

This place is full of the blue color! Though everything in the Academy does!

Carmine wanted to talk about Kieran and how he has changed a lot after the school trip.

Kieran has been putting much effort in training and he became the strongest student in the Academy!

Which means that, Kieran is the ultimate Champion behind the League Club now!

Carmine did not say it, but I know she must be so sad that Kieran grows so distant from her ...

Carmine wants me to be the one person sticking close with Kieran. I decided to help her out!

Carmine also told us to not trust Drayton too much!

Carmine thinks that Drayton is plotting something, but I'm sure it's fine!

And we're going to meet Drayton in the cafeteria to talk about the League Club! I'm sure he just likes battling a lot!

We then went to the cafeteria as told and saw Drayton already!

Joining the League Club (Plot Stuff)

Drayton seems to be really into eating, and I'm starting to get worried about his eating habits.

Drayton kept encouraging me to join the BB League. I'd love to do so, but we were interrupted!

Kieran walked in with who I assumed to be the remaining members of the Blueberry Elite Four!

And already, I could tell Kieran doesn't like Drayton all that much, just like his sister.

Drayton didn't get too upset about Kieran's attitude, but he shifted the attention to me instead! Kieran looked really surprised to see me!

Drayton went straight to the point about asking me to join the BB League!

The Elite Four member seemed to have opposing opinions about this topic! The discussion was getting heated!

Even Lacey didn't agree to letting me join the BB League!

Drayton didn't give up though, and he continued to argue with his fellow Elite Four members!

Lacey still didn't agree to the notion even though she knows my battling ability well!

The boy carrying a frying pan called Crispin was fine letting me join the BB League!

Carmine's friend, Amarys, strictly follows rules of the League Club and opposed to Drayton's idea!

Which means the Elite Four members were split on the issue, and Kieran, the BB League Champion would be the one to decide!

Kieran didn't really agree, but he didn't decline the idea either. And he seemed to be really confident in himself!

Kieran knows me more than any of the other BB League members. I bet he would not mind battling me again!

I guess that meant we had permission to join the BB League?

I sure would love to make up with Kieran ... I don't mind challenging the BB League if that's what we need to do.

To officially join the BB League, we got to go back to the school entrance!

The staff there didn't think exchange students could join the League, even if I had Drayton by my side!

Kieran, however, seemed to have a much stronger power and gave us permission to join the League officially!

I was right! Kieran wants to battle me too!

Saying peach kinda makes me hungry, actually.

Kieran was quite eager to show us how he much strong he got! And I'm more than ready to find out!

Though, Kieran's attitude was still as aggressive as he has been ...

If battling me is all he wants, then we need to beat all the BB League Elite Four to get a chance to fight him!

Carmine was really upset about Kieran's attitude, and I felt really bad for her ...

I guess Kieran is trying to act tough since he is now the Champion of the BB League.

Carmine had doubt about Drayton's intention, but I insisted I agreed to join the League!

Now that we've cleared things up, Carmine is happy to cheer for us!

Mostly because we got to monitor Kieran more closely if we challenged the BB League!

We have successfully enrolled in the BB League, which means we got to challenge other students to get higher ranks!

But since we have proved our ability multiple times, we could just skip to challenging the Elite Four members and the Champion!

The Elite Four members each reside in one of the Biomes! And we got a better idea what kinds of Pokemon they use as well!

We need to pay in BPs to get a chance to challenge the Elite Four! We need to do more BBQs then!

Just like a regular Pokemon League, we would not be able to battle Kieran until we defeat the Elite Four!

There are no restrictions to which Elite Four members to fight first, but we need to a trial before fighting each of them!

We need a lot of BPs for the Elite Four Trials and for donating to the Terarium Club! That means we need to grind for more BPs!

To get BPs, we need to take random photos of wild Pokemon!

We also need to send out Pokemon using the Let's Go feature to do some battling!

We then made some TMs for Petal Blizzard!

We were also asked to Terastallize our Pokemon to defeat wild Pokemon! Poor Luvdisc!

We were putting in so much effort in our BBQs the Director decided to give us more quests!

The best way to get BPs is to join other students from the Blueberry Academy!

Catching a Grass-type Pokemon might be the easiest and the best BBQ ever!

We went to the Canyon Biome for a Group Quest, but we left exploring this place for later!

We needed to find some Ditto Blocks around the Biome! (I actually didn't finish this one because I couldn't find the last one. RIP.)

Making a sandwich may also give some good BPs! And they're delicious too!

We spent a lot of time grinding BPs and we got even more types of quests from Director Cyrano!

We got around 3000 BPs, which should be enough for right now!

We spent our BPs supporting the Terarium Club!

There should be some rarer Pokemon roaming around the Savanna Biome now!

Ok, maybe this is a bad idea.

Savanna Biome (1)

After upgrading the Savanna Biome, it's finally time for us to give it a proper exploration!

I really am not here to catch Charmander ...

We have been trying our best to have Pokemon battles!

The student counsellor will give us BPs for battling students in the Savanna Biome!

We got 100 BPs for defeating 6 students! That's a better way to earn BPs!

We also got a TM for Throat Chop, which should be useful for Hawthorn and Apricot!

Since we would be doing more Pokemon battling, we should give Loquat what she deserves!

Loquat evovled into a Whimsicott and she got many support moves to use!

We found a wild Rowlet! That's what I wanted from the Terarium upgrade!

Rowlet may be a bird, but this bird is fine by me!

We caught ourselves a Rowlet!

You know what? Rowlet is so cute I can't control myself catching another one!

The first one of the Rowlet brothers, Tangelo is a sassy little owl!

Pomelo might be slightly weaker for right now, but he's an adamant one!

We found ourselves a trainer! This one is oddly interested in using healing machines? Not sure if this is a good thing to brag about!

We had Loquat and Plum fighting against Magmar and Girafarig! Our levels were a little lower, so this might not be too easy!

Loquat used Sunny Day to give Plum more speed under sunlight!

Maybe setting up strong sunlight isn't a good idea when the opponent is using Fire-type Pokemon ...

Loquat was gone, but at least Magmar did some heavy damage to itself too!

Plum threw some Sludge Bomb at Magmar, but that wasn't quite enough!

And Plum was gone after Girafarig's Psychic! That was a double knock-out on our team!

We got some stronger Pokemon on our back that also benefit from sunlight, like Redcurrant and Lychee!

With the sunlight, Redcurrant went and crunched Girafarig first! How the table has turned!

And that was a critical hit too! Redcurrant proved herself to be a fiery one!

Lychee is usually pretty slow, but he was fast enough to go before Magmar and finished it thanks to Chlorophyll!

Well, I think I need to use healing machine too!

The Battle of Eggs

Being the exchange student from another Academy is not easy! You get challenged by battles a lot!

Loquat and Lychee were sent out against Tauros and Chansey! (Classic Gen1 battles, almost)

Loquat started off the battle by setting up Sunny Day!

Tauros still ran faster than Lychee and charged at him with a Raging Bull!

At least Lychee got some of his health back with Giga Drain!

Chansey isn't an offensive powerhouse, and it went for Seismic Toss for some steady damage!

We switched out Loquat to send in Redcurrant for more Chlorophyll strategies!

But that means Redcurrant needed to take a Raging Bull on the switch-in!

Lychee's Giga Drain came close to knocking Tauros out! But it hung on with a tiny amount of health!

Chansey went for Seismic Toss again, this time on Lychee!

Redcurrant is the fastest Pokemon out in the sun, and she finished Tauros with a quick Crunch!

Lychee went for Giga Drain on Chansey, but that didn't do much!

Chansey tossed Redcurrant around the Earth and knocked her out!

Lychee used Extrasensory and didn't do that much to Chansey! (This one's gonna take a while, I have only Special Attackers left and no Psyshock lol)

Plum landed a critical Sludge Bomb, but even that didn't do all that much!

Chansey threw Lychee around to flip the world! Who knows this kind-hearted egg is so good at wrestling!

Lychee and Plum continued to wear Chansey down, and Chansey was brought to a low health range!

Chansey went for Plum this time, and he took it quite well!

The sun was gone, although it probably won't matter that much now!

But at the end, Plum and Lychee muscled through and knocked Chansey out!

I'm just glad that is over finally.

After that hard fight, Pomelo evolved into Dartrix!

And of course, Tangelo followed his brother and evolved into Dartrix as well!

Savanna Biome (2)

We picked up an Upper Hand TM, but none of our Pokemon could learn it. I guess we don't have the upper hand after all.

Um, the Central Plaza probably. I've been there already!

We paired Loquat up with Redcurrant this time, to fight Rabsca and Alcremie!

Alcremie started with a Protect! Glad we did not target it!

Sunny Day strategy always works better with Redcurrant by our side!

Redcurrant's Flamethrower was powered up by the harsh sunlight and finished Rabsca off in one hit!

And then Redcurrant proceeded to roast Alcremie with a critical Flamethrower hit!

Speaking of critical hits, Loquat landed one with Moonblast as well! Alcremie was gone!

We tried out a different pairing with our next battle! Loquat and Tomato versus Zebstrika and Araquanid!

Loquat went for Sunny Day again, this time triggering Tomato's Protosynthesis to boost its Attack!

Our sun strategy might've backfired a little bit since Zebstrika knows Flame Charge!

Tomato planned a Payback, but against the wrong Pokemon! Araquanid didn't take that much damage!

Araquanid put up an Aqua Ring to get some healing! We really should get rid of it as soon as possible!

Zebstrika used Flame Charge on Loquat! She took a heavy hit, but she still hung on!

Loquat's better at supporting her teammates, but she could do some damage too when using Moonblast!

Following that, Tomato used Seed Bomb to finish Araquanid! We got that nasty bug out!

Tomato prepared a surprise Sucker Punch on Zebstrika and did some heavy damage!

Unfortunately, that didn't stop Zebstrika from knocking Loquat out with Flame Charge!

One Sucker Punch was not enough, but a second one can finish the job!

That was our tenth battle in the Savanna Biome, which means we got rewards waiting for us!

We got 200 BPs as well as a Double-Edge TM! We probably don't need that TM, but I'll take it!

Savanna Biome (3)

Hey! I've been busy doing BBQs too!

Like, running around defeating Pokemon using Terastallization!

Though we've also been running into way too many Fire-type Pokemon!

Pro tips! You get BBQs done more quickly and get rewarded with more BPs with friends around!

Another way to earn BPs is to just battle! Apircot and Quince versus Smeargle and Girafarig!

Girafarig struck first and blasted both of our Pokemon with a Dazzling Gleam!

That triggered Quince's Seed Sower and boosted his Defense!

Apricot went for Petal Blizzard, which didn't go that well because of Sap Sipper!

That heavily damaged Smeargle and did some friendly fire to Quince as well!

Well, Smeargle only got to hang on because of its Focus Sash!

Uh-oh! Smeargle then used Endeavor to Apricot's health to 1 HP as well! I hope they don't have Quick Attack to follow up!

Quince then used Hyper Voice and hit both of the opponents! That finished Smeargle off!

At least Apricot got some health back from the Grassy Terrain!

And then Apricot pulled a Sucker Punch on Girafarig before it could even act!

Pomelo evolved again! He is growing so fast!

Pomelo is now a Decidueye, which is a Ghost-type and has a lot more Attack!

We found the Savanna Plaza, which is where Crispin hangs around, but I don't think we are ready for his fire Pokemon!

If you see random shots of wild Pokemon, I was probably doing some BBQs!

We also did some wild battles to test Pomelo's newly boosted power!

Pomelo hanging around with some baby Rowlets! This is just too cute!

Same! But we shouldn't go to challenge the Elite Four members without training ourselves up first!

Time for Sunny Day strategy again!

Loquat is just so reliable at setting up Sunny Day!

Redcurrant crunched Rotom and almost knocked it out!

Rotom then used Hex on Loquat. Don't you dare cast a hex on us!

Blitzle took advantage of the sun and hit Loquat with Flame Charge! But she toughed it out!

But Blitzle was nothing compared to Redcurrant when it comes to strong attacks under sunlight!

Rotom paralyzed Redcurrant with a Thunder Wave! That's bad news for our Chlorophyll tactics!

Loquat finished Rotom off with a Moonblast! That's a double KO!

It's a 2-on-1 now with only Vibrava on the opposing team!

And Vibrava was gone after just one Moonblast!

Oh I wish! We still have not done any major rank battles in the League Club!

Savanna Biome (4)

There are some tough trainers residing in the Savanna Biome too! You know when they speak in dark textbox!

Hopefully, this trainer is not as strong as the Elite Four members!

We had to send out our strong Pokemon, Raspberry and Apricot, for fighting Mandibuzz and Krookodile!

Mandibuzz started off the battle with a Protect!

That was bad because Apricot tried to use Fake Out on Mandibuzz!

At least Raspberry still got the time to set up Tailwind to power up Apricot!

Krookodile bit Apricot with a Fire Fang! We had to get rid of that thing as soon as possible!

Raspberry's main mission was to setup Tailwind, so he swiftly left the field with U-turn after doing so!

We sent out Honeydew instead!

Apricot whipped up a Petal Blizzard, which did some friendly fire to Honeydew, but more importantly took out a chunk of Krookodile's health!

And Apricot was knocked out from another Fire Fang!

Mandibuzz also used this opportunity to set Tailwind up! I guess we have the same strategy!

Mandibuzz also had Leftovers to constantly heal itself! That's gonna be annoying to take down!

We sent out Hawthorn next to hopefully tear through the opponents quickly!

Honeydew's Axe Kick is so strong that it actually hurts herself when it misses! Ouch!

Speaking of misses, Hawthorn also missed with Play Rough! That was a bad turn for us!

Krookodile struck for Fire Fang again! This time it heavily damaged Hawthorn and left him with a nasty burn!

And since Honeydew wore herself down with that Axe Kick, she got easily finished off with a Foul Play!

Honeydew fainted and Hawthorn was burned. This was a REALLY bad turn for us!

Even though Hawthorn was burned, he still did enough damage to finish Krookodile off! Finally some good news for us!

Hawthorn also managed to get some of his health back!

Well, Hawthorn tried his best already!

We still had Quince by our side, who used Dazzling Gleam to do super-effective damage to Mandibuzz!

Right when things started to get better for us, our Tailwind was gone!

We sent Raspberry back out again, while the opponent sent out Rhyperior!

Mandibuzz used Foul Play again, but luckily Raspberry didn't have that much Attack to attack himself!

Tailwind is really helpful in giving us high Speed, so we put it up again!

With the Tailwind blowing behind us, Quince blasted an Energy Ball to Rhyperior!

Even with the Rindo Berry weakening Energy Ball, that was still almost enough to knock Rhyperior out!

Raspberry couldn't take another hit, especially not Ice Punch! At least he didn't go down in vain!

And the opposing Tailwind petered out! We should have the stronger wind by our side now!

Our final Pokemon was Redcurrant, who is always reliable at firing strong Flamethrower!

Rhyperior could be big trouble for Redcurrant, so we handled it quickly with another Energy Ball!

Redcurrant's strong offenses came back to bite! She almost went down with Foul Play!

The final Pokemon on the opposing team was an ancient Scyther, Kleavor!

How was Mandibuzz taking so many hits? It had been here since the start of the battle!

Quince shined with a Dazzling Gleam to hit both of the opposing Pokemon!

FINALLY.

Kleavor struck Redcurrant with a Stone Axe and we were down to having Quince only!

Kleavor lost HP from that attack, which means it was holding a Life Orb! That sounds really scary!

Time for us to power up our Pokemon! We Terastallized Quince!

Quince unleashed a super Energy Ball with Terastallization!

And that was enough to knock out Kleavor! We cut it close, but we made it at the end!

I think that's a sign we were not ready for battling Crispin!

Savanna Biome (5)

I'm not lost! I'm here to battle you!

We had Raspberry and Honeydew out to fight Farigiraf and Blissey!

Raspberry used Sunny Day again to let Honeydew run faster!

And then Honeydew kicked Blissey and knocked it out in one hit!

Oh no! Farigiraf twisted the dimensions with Trick Room!

Rabsca was sent out next and it was able to act first from the twisted dimensions!

Which was bad for us, since Rabsca knocked Honeydew out with just one Psychic!

Farigiraf then put up a Light Screen to protect their team!

Raspberry couldn't that much else, but using Sleep Powder is always a reliable option!

We sent Redcurrant out while Rabsca was still asleep! Though she may not be a great fighter when the dimensions were still twisted!

Raspberry would not be too helpful in Trick Room either, so he left the field with U-turn!

We sent out Quince to battle instead!

Redcurrant then roasted Rabsca with a Flamethrower! It didn't do enough because of Light Screen though!

Farigiraf then used Trick Room to untwist the dimensions ... ?

Since the dimensions went back to normal, Redcurrant could speed up with her Chlorophyll again!

Redcurrant couldn't quite knock Farigiraf out, and the giraffe took that opportunity to chew down its Sitrus Berry!

Quince tried to spread some damage with Hyper Voice, but he didn't do much since Light Screen was still up!

Luckily for us, Quince screaming with Hyper Voice did not wake Rabsca up!

Ok, can you please not use Trick Room again? I'm getting really dizzy!

Rabsca woke up from its lunchtime nap and struck both our Pokemon with Struggle Bug!

Struggle Bug didn't do that much damage, but what hurt more was the Special Attack drops on our Pokemon!

And Quince's Seed Sower was triggered to set up Grassy Terrain!

Farigiraf finally started attacking us and used Hyper Voice! We were still hanging though!

Quince screamed with Hyper Voice again and finally knocked out Rabsca!

And Farigiraf was also gone from Redcurrant's Crunch! I think we were finally getting used to the twisted dimensions!

The sunlight turned fine, but it probably didn't matter that much anymore!

Quince and Redcurrant were both quite hurt, so the healing from Grassy Terrain was really appreciated!

Our opponent had only one Pokemon, and it was Araquanid!

Redcurrant might not be weak to Water-type moves, but Liquidation still hurt a lot!

And we saw that Araquanid was holding a Life Orb as well!

Quince used Energy Ball, but it couldn't do much even with the Grassy Terrain up!

The opposing Light Screen was finally gone! We should probably be able to do more damage now!

Apricot doesn't like fighting big bugs that much, but I think she got it this time!

Trick Room could not stop Apricot striking with Fake Out first and Araquanid couldn't move after that!

Without the Light Screen, Energy Ball did much more, but it was still not enough to finish Araquanid off!

And then Apricot followed up with a Sucker Punch to finish the battle!

Claiming our Rewards

After those tough fights, we finally defeated all fourteen students in the Savanna Biome!

We got 500 BPs from that! Though we still needed much more BPs to support the other clubs!

We also got a TM for Expanding Force, which is really strong in Psychic Terrain! Not sure if we really need this though!

We can go to defeat students in other biomes as well, since we would also get rewards from the guidance counselors!

Right when we set off to the next biome, we found something in the field!

We caught ourselves a Snivy, a smug-looking grass snake!

Let's welcome Salak the Snivy to the team! She's an adamant one! (Ouch.)

We needed a good rest after exploring around so long, so we had a picnic!

Coastal Biome (1)

We went back to the Coastal Biome, this time for a proper exploration!

The beach is a great scenery, but the weather wasn't great.

Instead of swimming around the beach, we flew around as Pomelo!

I think Passionfruit really likes playing in the beach!

Behind the scenes, we also got Tangelo evolving, but into the Hisuian form of Decidueye!

Tangelo is now a Fighting-type Pokemon, and he knows how to Bulk Up and shoot Triple Arrows!

Of course, we also needed to fly around as Tangelo!

We found the guidance counselor around the Rest Area, but we needed to defeat more students!

We then went to find trainers to battle!

Loquat and Plum fighting Slaking and ... Slowpoke?

We stuck with our strategy of setting up Sunny Day right off the bat!

Plum is normally pretty slow, but he can move faster under harsh sunlight!

Sludge Bomb didn't do that much, but we poisoned Slaking with that!

Uh-oh. Slaking slammed right into Loquat's face!

And Loquat couldn't take that hit at all! Slaking might be a slacker, but it has a lot of power when it starts moving!

Slowpoke tried to paralyze Plum with Thunder Wave, but he dodged that hit!

Slaking is a dangerous foe, but at least it will get worn down by its poison!

We then sent in Longan to battle! He's so tall it's difficult to fit him in the frames!

Plum went for Sludge Bomb again, and it was still not enough to knock Slaking out!

Thankfully, Slaking had to recharge from using Giga Impact!

And we used that opportunity to finish Slaking off with Giga Drain!

Slowpoke unleashed Avalanche on Longan's heads! He took a lot but was still hanging!

We only had Slowpoke left, and we started with using Sludge Bomb!

Then followed up with a Giga Drain! This form of Slowpoke is actually not weak to Grass-type moves!

It's pretty odd to see Blueberry Academy building tall cliffs in the Terarium!

And I do not adore bird Pokemon.

We had Loquat and Cloudberry out to fight the bird duo, Toucannon and Talonflame!

Before we got to do anything, Toucannon heat up its beak, preparing for an attack!

Instead of setting up sun, Loquat's mission this time was to set up Tailwind!

Cloudberry already turned the weather snowy upon entry, and then he blew a strong Blizzard to the opposing team!

Unfortunately, Talonflame instantly removed Cloudberry with Flare Blitz! That's why I do not adore bird Pokemon!

At least Talonflame took severe damage from the recoil caused by Flare Blitz!

Toucannon then used it heat up beak to blast Loquat! Loquat also went down in one hit!

We sent in our own bird Pokemon, Pomelo! And Cantaloupe as well to support him!

Toucannon prepared for Beak Blast again! We had to get rid of it before it struck!

Even with the Tailwind on our side, Talonflame still flew faster than our Pokemon and knocked Pomelo out! Ouch!

But Talonflame took itself out since it took too much recoil damage! That's great news for us!

Our efforts did not go to waste! Salak evolved into Servine after that fight!

We got 100 BPs from battling five trainers in the biome! Now we got over 3000 BPs!

Even better, we got a TM for Petal Blizzard! More Petal Blizzard strategy in coming!

Biodiversity

Since we got enough BPs, we contributed to support the Terarium Club again!

They upgrade the environments in the Coastal Biome, and we should be able to find Grookey in the wild now!

All I saw were birds and birds ...

Well, at least we found ourselves a Chikorita!

Plantain the Chikorita joined our team! She's an adamant one just like Salak!

We didn't find anything else new, but I always like seeing wild Deerling in the wild!

According to the map, we should be able to find wild Grookey right here!

Nope. Wrong monkey.

I guess Grookey actually don't live here ... Better luck next time!

Do you know that Gloom have different patterns of spots depending on their gender?

I said Grookey, not Froakie!

Coastal Biome (2)

Wait, really? I don't recall seeing you in the cafeteria!

Oh well, never mind.

Loquat and Apricot facing Bruxish and Seviper! That Seviper made me a little nervous!

But I have faith in my Pokemon! Loquat boosted Apricot's Speed and Attack with Tailwind!

Apricot then rode the wind and dropped some Rock Slide on the opposing team!

Woah! I wasn't expecting Bruxish to be the toxic one! Loquat was knocked out with one Poison Fang!

At least Seviper couldn't move! I guess it felt our wrath!

Apricot went for Rock Slide again and we were really close in knocking Seviper out!

We saw how dangerous Bruxish is and removed it as soon as possible with Plum's Giga Drain!

And what I was worrying finally happened! Seviper brutally assaulted Apricot with Gunk Shot! Yuck!

Seviper was already weakened enough, so we sent in Pomelo to quickly finish it with Spirit Shackle!

Maybe I should start practicing my self-intro too! Just in case!

Ooh! Another Alola-loving trainer! Do you have an Alolan Exeggutor too?

Yup, this trainer has the classic Alolan Pokemon, Exeggutor and Dugtrio!

Tailwind is always good for us, especially with some slower Pokemon out in the field!

Plum threw a Sludge Bomb on the Alolan Exeggutor! That was close but didn't quite knock it out!

Alolan Dugtrio is actually made of some sorts of metal, and it used Iron Head on Plum! Kinda surprised it didn't go for Loquat though!

Exeggutor then put on a Light Screen to protect their team! We got to be aware of that!

The Light Screen didn't stop Loquat from knocking Exeggutor out with Moonblast!

We couldn't see it from the ground, but Exeggutor was probably crying! Poor thing!

Plum got some of his health back with Giga Drain, but it didn't actually help that much since Dugtrio got too little health!

And Dugtrio went for Loquat this time, and she couldn't take that hit at all!

We sent out Kiwano next, and Sandslash was also sent out!

Kiwano struck first with an Earthquake! Plum took some damage as well, but at least we removed Dugtrio (It's kinda ironic, isn't it?)!

Plum used Giga Drain on Sandslash, but this form of Sandslash is not weak to Grass-type moves!

Not only that, but this Sandslash is also capable of spinning like ice! I don't like that, and neither does Plum!

Sandslash had been weakened enough, so we just sent in Pomelo next!

Kiwano went for Earthquake again! While Pomelo no longer flies in the air constantly, he can still take an Earthquake pretty well!

Kiwano was very careful in striking that critical hit on Sandslash! And Sandslash was swiftly removed by Earthquake as well (Also pretty ironic, right?)!

Well, I certainly do not have such a passion for Alolan Pokemon! But I definitely love Longan!

With that, Salak fully ripened into Serperior! She looks so majestic now!

And Plantain evolved into Bayleef! Can't wait till she evolves again!

And then we reached the Coastal Plaza!

Coastal Biome (3): Lacey's Secret

The Elite Trial takes place in the Coastal Plaza, but we're not quite ready for that yet!

Salak has gotten more defense and speed after evolving!

Please tell me! Like what strategy does she use in battle!

In order to earn this piece of precious information, we must defeat Tentacruel and Araquanid! Honestly, they don't look very friendly.

Tentacruel started off protecting itself! Interesting, I wonder what they are planning.

Good thing Apricot used Fake Out on Araquanid instead!

Raspberry then safely set up Tailwind for our team! This strategy has been so reliable!

And a flinching spider is the only good kind of spiders.

And a sleeping spider on the opposing team is even better to see.

Apricot then used Rock Slide to hit both of the opposing Pokemon!

Tentacruel flinched and Araquanid was still sleeping! That meant we got a free turn!

Though we also saw Tentacruel healing itself with its Black Sludge! We got to remove it quick!

Since Sleep Powder worked so well the first time, we used it again to put Tentacruel to sleep!

Apricot then used Rock Slide to knock out Araquanid, leaving Tentacruel behind!

And a fainting spider is the least scary kind.

We weren't quite done yet, as Kingdra was sent up next!

Time for Kingdra to get some Sleep Powder as well!

With Araquanid gone, Apricot went back to using Petal Blizzard, which damaged everyone around her!

We still got time left, since the opposing Pokemon were still asleep!

Tailwind petered out, huh?

Then Raspberry will go and set it up again! That meant Apricot got one more boost with Wind Rider!

With an extra boost in Attack, Apricot knocked out Tentacruel and left Kingdra with a tiny amount of HP!

Tentacruel was sleeping well, but Kindra was not! It woke up after one turn of sleeping!

And that was bad news for Raspberry, since he got instantly knocked out by Ice Beam!

At least Kingdra knocked itself out since it was holding a Life Orb all along!

We sent out Hawthorn, while the opposing trainer sent out Alomomola!

We couldn't use Tailwind to boost anymore, but that's fine! 'Cause we got Petal Blizzard to utilize Wind Rider as well!

Alomomola is actually pretty bulky, and it didn't take much from Hawthorn's Petal Blizzard!

Apricot, on the other hand, had a much stronger Petal Blizzard, but it was still not enough to finish Alomomola off!

And then Alomomola made it rain! Probably a little too late, if you ask me.

Uh-oh! Alomomola then starting using Wide Guard!

Wide Guard stopped Petal Blizzard from hitting the opposing team!

At least Apricot could still enjoy the Attack boost with Wind Rider!

But since Apricot was also using Petal Blizzard, she couldn't damage Alomomola!

And since Apricot got so many attack boosts, she accidentally knocked out Hawthorn! Oof!

That was a free turn for Alomomola to recover its health!

We sent out Plum next to hopefully get rid of Alomomola this time!

Alomomola used Wide Guard again!

And Apricot only had widespread moves on her moveslots, so she couldn't do anything!

And Petal Blizzard ended up damaging Plum only! Our strategy was starting to backfire!

Luckily, Plum doesn't have any issues with Wide Guard, and successfully knocked Alomomola out with Giga Drain!

That battle started great, but didn't end well ... Let's hope we will not run into this thing again. (Spoiler: we will)

We were promised to learn about Lacey's secret after that battle! And we now know Lacey's napping habits ... ? Are you sure I'm supposed to know this?

Coastal Biome (4): Meeting New Pokemon

We picked up some twigs around the beach nearby. Maybe it would be more useful for us if it's called Galarica Leaves or something.

This beach seems to be infested by Slowpoke. Though they look somewhat off!

I'm just fine with them, honestly. Good for you, though.

Hey, you said Slowpoke, not Slowking and Slowbro! Let's hope Loquat and Apricot will do fine!

For some reasons, these two Pokemon look more sinister than what they are usually!

Whether we have Loquat or Raspberry out, our strategy is to always set up Tailwind first!

Slowking casted an Eerie Spell on Loquat! That doesn't look good!

We lost some PP for Tailwind, but that's fine!

Slowbro flinched from our Fake Out and couldn't move at all!

Let's surprise Slowbro again with a Sucker Punch! Slowbro was knocked out without being able to do anything!

Loquat's main role is to support, and she could only damage with Moonblast!

Slowking didn't take much damage, but it got its Special Attack lowered!

Slowking casted its Eerie Spell again, but Loquat took it better this time thanks to the Special Attack drop!

We lost 3 PP for Moonblast this time, but we probably don't need that many PP anyways!

'Cause Apricot finished Slowking off with a Sucker Punch!

I think I still prefer the pink version of Slowbro and Slowking more!

Speaking of tropical, we finally found Grookey!

Mamey the Grookey is now part of our team!

This place is full of flower fields, I think there might be even more Grass-type Pokemon hiding from us!

Our next destination is to explore this area of the biome!

All we have been running into are still Alolan Exeggutor, not that I'm complaining.

We also found a sea lion on the beach! Time for Pomelo to get some experience!

We found a TM for Psychic Fangs lying on the beach as well! Not sure if it will be helpful for our team!

While we were exploring around, Plantain evolved into Meganium!

I do think it feels refreshing just standing beside Grass-type Pokemon!

Plantain would probably be better used as a support Pokemon!

Time was getting late, so we stopped by to have a picnic!

Of course, we needed to have a sandwich for a true picnic experience, but I'm not that good at making them!

A scorching TM for Flamethrower! Maybe we got some more Pokemon that can use it now?

Coastal Biome (5): Double Strategies

Let's learn more about strategies in Double Battles!

The trainer sent out Flygon and Rabsca! I wonder what strategy they can employ!

Whatever they were planning, it was probably up to no good, so we stopped Flygon from moving!

Meanwhile, Loquat gave Apricot a boost with Wind Rider! I know what strategy I can use!

Rabsca set up Light Screen while Flygon flinched, which was probably not part of their strategy.

Speaking of Light Screen, Loquat set up one as well to protect the team!

Flygon was probably the offensive Pokemon on their team, so we gave it a good old Sucker Punch!

Flygon used Boomburst, which didn't hit Rabsca because of its Telepathy! That's a good strategy!

Luckily for us, Loquat's Light Screen lowered the damage of Boomburst!

Rabsca then used Struggle Bug to hit both of our Pokemon! Apricot took a big hit there!

What hurt more was the Special Attack drops on our Pokemon!

Flygon was definitely the more dangerous Pokemon there, so we quickly finished it off with Moonblast!

And Apricot threw some rocks on Rabsca!

Rabsca got some health back with Sitrus Berry, but it couldn't move! That was a pretty good turn for us!

Torkoal was sent out on the opposing team. That's bad news for us.

We needed some strategies to fight Torkoal as well! We struck Torkoal with a Moonblast!

Moonblast didn't do much damage, but it lowered Torkoal's Special Attack! That's a good strategy as well, if I'd say so myself!

Apricot went for Rock Slide again, this time knocking Rabsca out and doing heavy damage to Torkoal!

Torkoal lashed back with Burning Jealousy, which hurt both of our Pokemon! That hurt!

Our Tailwind was gone, but we would probably be fine.

Really? Alomomola again?

Loquat set up Tailwind again, just to trigger Apricot's Wind Rider for another Attack boost!

Apricot's doubly boosted Attack came close to knocking Torkoal out with Rock Slide!

We were having fun, until Alomomola splashed some Chilling Water on Apricot!

That lowered Apricot's Attack back to just a single boost!

Torkoal went for Burning Jealousy again, and finished Apricot this time!

They were probably jealous of Apricot's high Attacks!

This Alomomola was also holding Leftovers! Oh no, this was bringing back some bad memories!

Good news was that their Light Screen wore off! We should be able to do more damage now!

We sent out Quince next to deal with Torkoal!

Oh no.

Loquat used Moonblast on Alomomola, but that thing was pretty bulky!

We fell for the trap again! Quince couldn't use Hyper Voice against Alomomola's Wide Guard!

Torkoal spread its jealousy on our Pokemon again and knocked Loquat out! Maybe we need some Wide Guard actions for our team!

That was a critical hit too! I guess Torkoal was REALLY jealous of Loquat.

At least Quince got to spread some Grassy Terrain around and got a Defense boost!

Bad news was our Light Screen also wore off! That meant we would take more damage from Burning Jealousy!

We sent in Salal, who gave Quince some matcha to drink!

*sigh*

Salal's Matcha Gotcha was also blocked by Wide Guard! (Why did I send this thing in when mola was spamming Wide Guard? )

At least Earth Power could strike through Wide Guard and knock Torkoal out!

Alomomola used Wide Guard! What a surprise!

Salal would not be able to use Matcha Gotcha even if it would only hit one target, so we had to go with Shadow Ball instead!

Quince finished this battle with a powered-up Energy Ball!

Alomomola was finally gone. And we can finally rest easy tonight.

Double Battle gives you double the fun!

Grass-type Paradise

After that long battle, Mamey evolved into Thwackey!

We found a Bulbasaur in the wild! ... And we accidentally knocked it out!

We found another Bulbasaur in the wild! ... And we accidentally knocked it out AGAIN!

We accidentally defeated so many Bulbasaur, Mamey evolved into Rillaboom before we could even catch a Bulbasaur!

We found our third Bulbasaur. Let's hope things go well this time!

Maybe Bulbasaur just don't like me ...

We finally managed to catch a Bulbasaur!

Strawberry the Bulbsaur is our newest addition to the team! He's a modest baby!

The council will now decide your fate.

When I say I want more Grass-type Pokemon, Comfey wearing a flower on its head does not count.

We defeated 10 students and received 200 BPs as reward!

We also got a TM for Sludge Wave, which only Plum can learn. This is probably too toxic for us though.

Torchlit Labyrinth (1): Battle of Terrains

Synchronizing with either of the Decidueye is the best thing to do in Terarium!

We caught an Exeggutor from a Tera Raid Battle! We got some extra Grass Tera Shards from that!

We had 5140 BPs from doing BBQ with other students! That should be enough for whatever we need!

We found a cave called Torchlit Labyrinth in the Coastal Biome! That name sounds horrifying, but that won't stop me!

Hey, I'm the League Club too!

We had Loquat and Plum out against Lanturn and ... Golem?

Tailwind would probably not be necessary here, so Loquat started with Light Screen instead!

Lanturn also went for support and used Electric Terrain, setting an electrifying current on the field!

Plum used Giga Drain on Golem and didn't knock it out! This Golem is not that weak to Grass-type moves!

Golem blew itself up with Explosion! Why did you do that!

Lanturn didn't take any damage, while both Loquat and Plum fainted in one hit! What an evil strategy!

That attack took out three Pokemon on the field at once!

Rhyperior was sent out next and it boosted its own Defense with Electric Seed!

Pomelo used to be terrified of the cold, but he can take an Ice Beam fairly well now!

Quince blasted an Energy Ball on Rhyperior and knocked it out in one hit!

Pomelo went for Tailwind since he and Quince are both fairly slow!

The final Pokemon on the opposing team was Eelektross, which swims through the Electric Terrain!

Quince used Hyper Voice to spread some decent damage to the opposing team!

Pomelo followed up with a Leaf Blade on Eelektross! We didn't quite knock it out though.

Eelektross got some of its health back with its Sitrus Berry!

Lanturn went for Ice Beam again, but Pomelo was hanging on!

Eelektross roasted Quince with Flamethrower, but Quince took it well under Light Screen!

That hit also triggered Quince's Seed Sower and turned the battlefield grassy!

Unfortunately, the Grassy Terrain also gave our opponents extra HP to restore!

And Lanturn had Leftovers as well! It was getting too much HP!

With the field working for us, Eelektross got knocked out immediately with an Energy Ball!

And Lanturn got sliced apart with Leaf Blade!

I'm still working on my rank in the League Club! Maybe we should challenge an Elite Four member soon!

We found a TM for Grass Pledge! It had some interesting effects when used by other moves, but we probably won't be able to utilize them!

Torchlit Labyrinth (2): Cotton Party

At this point, I was pretty lost in the labyrinth as well! Luckily, this place isn't actually that hot!

We had Loquat and Plum out again, this time facing Malamar and Zangoose!

Zangoose immediately went for Detect to protect itself!

Loquat went back her usual trick of setting up Tailwind!

Plum went for Moonblast on Malamar, but it wasn't quite enough!

Malamar lashed back with a Psycho Cut to slice through Plum! He might seem delicious, but you shouldn't do that!

Malamar was holding Leftovers! We always seem to run into Pokemon holding Leftovers now!

And Zangoose poisoned itself with a Toxic Orb? That's a weird strategy!

It was actually a way to boost Zangoose's Attack up, and it went ahead to finish Plum with Quick Attack!

Plum wasn't around to use Moonblast, but we had another Moonblast user to knock Malamar out!

And Zangoose started getting hurt by its bad poison!

We sent out Lychee, and the opposing team had a Whimsicott! That's cute!

Loquat gave Lychee a boost with Helping Hand, and Lychee was ready to wreak havoc!

The opposing Whimsicott set up Grassy Terrain on the field! I do not mind that one bit!

The opposing Whimsicott also had a Grassy Seed and boosted its Defense!

Lychee went all out with Extrasensory, but it was still not enough to knock Zangoose out!

That was bad news, since Zangoose then knocked Lychee out with one Facade! That thing was strong!

Zangoose got some health from the Grassy Terrain, but it was then knocked out by its poison damage!

Both sides still had Whimsicott on the team, while Pomelo and Meowstic were sent out!

Loquat went to help Pomelo out this time! Pomelo was ready to move!

Meowstic went for Fake Out on Loquat, but that shouldn't be a problem at all!

The opposing Whimsicott went for Moonblast on Pomelo, but he took it just fine!

Pomelo then used its boosted power to knock Meowstic with Spirit Shackle! Nice aim!

Our Tailwind petered out, but it shouldn't be a big issue!

The opposing Whimsicott went for Moonblast again. It didn't do that much, but Loquat got her Special Attack dropped!

We traded back a Moonblast to Whimsicott, but we didn't do much after the drop!

I usually do not like seeing Brave Bird, but it's fine when Pomelo's the one using it!

Brave Bird did a significant amount to Whimsicott, but it also hurt Pomelo a little bit!

blah blah blah Moonblast blah blah blah not that much

Loquat went with a final Moonblast and finished the battle! Honestly, you probably can't even gaze the moon in this cave.

We found a bottle cap! I do not collect this kind of things, but I'm sure someone would love it!

We finally made it through the labyrinth. I'm just glad to see sunlight again!

Coastal Biome (6): Secluded Beach

Um, I'm pretty sure you can just walk through the tunnel.

Well, I guess Dugtrio would be useful digging through the mountain. But why's Crabominable here?

Dugtrio's so fast it was even faster than Loquat and struck with an Iron Head!

Loquat went for direct attack this time and landed a Moonblast on Crabominable!

Plum also used Moonblast on Crabominable and finished up the snowy crab!

Loquat wouldn't be able to do much to Dugtrio and instead lent her help to Plum!

Dugtrio went for Iron Head and finished Loquat up!

Even with an extra help, Plum couldn't quite knock out Dugtrio in one go!

We sent Pomelo out to hopefully finish Dugtrio!

Huh? You don't even have claws! How did you use that?

Pomelo took that Shadow Claw fine and showed Dugtrio the proper way of haunting!

With that, Strawberry evolved into Ivysaur! Now he looks even more like a strawberry!

Ooh, we found a secret beach around the corner!

We also brought back Salak and gave her some new moves!

Oh, never mind. The beach was already taken. Can I at least take the Exeggutor roaming around?

Let's test out Salak and Plum's coordination with Vigoroth and Torkoal!

Despite not having legs, Salak always moves so fast, and she managed to set up Light Screen as soon as the battle started!

Vigoroth used Trailblaze. I appreciated its love of Grass-type moves, but I did not like the Speed boost!

Plum used Sludge Bomb on Torkoal, which did a decent amount!

Torkoal then squeezed Salak with Body Press! That hurt a lot!

Since Vigoroth got a Speed boost, it got faster than Salak and landed a critical Body Slam on Plum!

We were a little bit late, but Salak then set up Reflect as well for better protection!

Torkoal was knocked out with another Sludge Bomb!

Salak's hands might not be visible, but they are always ready to help her teammates!

Vigoroth went for Body Slam on Salak! Poor thing kept getting squashed!

Argh! Plum's Sludge Bomb was really close to knocking Vigoroth out!

Vigoroth used Body Slam and knocked out Salak! I think Vigoroth needs to slow down and keep calm a little bit!

Anyways, Plum finished Vigoroth off with Giga Drain! Does this mean I own this beach now?

Coastal Biome (7): Mood Swings

Good for you. I'm most definitely NOT ready to venture into the Polar Biome!

Salak and Pomelo were out fighting Muk and Smeargle! I don't like how the opposing team looked.

Smeargle and Muk both started with Protect. They were definitely up to no good!

Them protecting themselves meant Salak got a free turn to put on Reflect!

Pomelo, on the other hand, couldn't break through Smeargle's shield!

Uh-oh. Smeargle got some random boosts and drops from its mood swings!

Smeargle used Destiny Bond! That was unfortunate to hear ...

Salak went for Leaf Blade on Smeargle, but it was not quite enough!

Pomelo also used Leaf Blade on Smeargle and successfully knocked it out ...

Muk received Smeargle's Moody through the Power of Alchemy. That's why I'm not into alchemy!

To make things worse, Pomelo was brought down by Smeargle's grudge!

Muk went for Poison Jab, and it hurt Salak a lot even through Reflect!

Muk also started having mood swings, but at least it dropped its Attack!

If Muk was using Poison Jab, then we sent Plum out to absorb its poison!

Salak didn't have much to do against Muk, so she gave Plum a Helping Hand!

Even with the Helping Hand boost, Moonblast didn't do too much to Muk!

And of course, Muk jabbed Salak with its poisonous hands!

Muk was also holding Black Sludge! Though I think it would like Rainbow Sludge instead?

Muk's mood swings lowered its Attack once again! That should be good news for us!

We sent Longan out and found that Muk was holding ... Black Sludge.

Plum went for Moonblast again, and still didn't do that much to Muk!

Longan's Dragon Pulse also didn't do enough to finish Muk off!

Muk targeted Plum this time, but Plum was more than fine taking a Poison Jab!

Oh great, Muk got its Attack back with another mood swing!

Determination is always the way to go! Plum finally knocked Muk out with Moonblast!

That was an evil strategy. I don't want to see that in action again.

And Strawberry evolved once again into Venusaur! His flower has fully blossomed!

Finishing Up the Coastal Biome

We were about to wrap out adventure in Coastal Biome by battling the final trainer!

Seadra and Tentacruel ... What does that feel so familiar?

Didn't matter, Loquat went with her usual support of blowing Tailwind!

Tentacruel seemed like a bigger threat, so Pomelo sliced through Tentacruel first!

We were right about Tentacruel being a threat at least. Loquat went down with just one Sludge Bomb!

Seadra used Flash Cannon on Pomelo, but he took it pretty well!

Can you see who I sent out?

Pomelo used Leaf Blade on Seadra this time and knocked it out in one hit!

Though Pomelo also got poisoned by Seadra's spiky fins! That was unfortunate!

A mysterious shadow attacked Tentacruel with Psyshock and finished it off!

We only had Bruxish left to deal with, which shouldn't be a big problem!

Pomelo swiftly cut through Bruxish with Leaf Blade!

We defeated every student in the Coastal Biome and received 500 BPs as rewards!

We also got a TM for Scorching Sands! Probably too hot for our Grass-type Pokemon!

Well, we had one more trainer in the biome, and it was Lacey!

Quiz Time

Lacey's not going to go down easily, so we brought back some of our stronger Pokemon!

We officially applied for challenging Lacey in a BB League battle!

Before we could do that, we had to complete her trial!

Lacey explained the reason why she did not want me to join the BB League, and honestly I am fine with that. I will prove myself in a battle!

Lacey's trial is a Pokemon quiz! I hope it is about how well I know Grass-type Pokemon!

Well, at least I know Pikachu store electricity with their cheeks!

Bugs are not my specialties, but I know Venonat use their eyes as radar!

I know more about Poltchageist and Sinistcha, but identifying an antique form Sinistea wasn't that tough for me either!

And finding a pink Minior just requires focus!

Wait, this isn't about Pokemon knowledge!

But we heard about Lacey's napping habit from one of the trainers around the plaza!

We cleared the trial by getting all questions right!

Time for the actual battle!

vs Lacey (1)

Lacey's a Fairy-type trainer, though she also just said "mostly" for that.

We had battled Lacey once already, but we know she didn't use her best team last time!

We challenged Lacey for a BB League match! Let's get our ranks up!

We had Raspberry and Plum fighting Granbull and Whimsicott! Right off the bat, we were already getting intimidated!

As a Whimsicott user myself, I know well how good Whimsicott is at supporting the team with moves like Light Screen!

We couldn't let Whimsicott take the spotlight! We had a cute fluffball on our side too! Raspberry set up Tailwind for the team!

Plum hit Whimsicott with a Sludge Bomb, but it hung on thanks to its Focus Sash!

Well, I know weaknesses of Grass-type Pokemon more than anyone else!

Sludge Bomb also poisoned Whimsicott! We shouldn't need to worry about this thing anymore!

Granbull punched Raspberry with an icy fist and knocked him out! That was cold!

At least we scored a KO as well with Whimsicott knocked out by the poison!

We sent in Apricot, who got an Attack boost due to the Tailwind! Lacey sent in Primarina!

We saw how powerful Granbull is, so we had Apricot use Fake Out on Granbull!

Plum used Sludge Bomb on Primarina, but it didn't do much despite being super effective!

Primarina landed a powerful Moonblast and knocked Apricot out immediately! Ouch!

That was probably not a great play on my behalf.

At least Granbull couldn't move for one turn!

We sent out Lime next, since it is our strongest member!

Lime quickly put on Light Screen to withstand Primarina's brutal attacks!

Plum went for Granbull this time and couldn't quite knock it out either thanks to their Light Screen!

Primarina did a lot to Lime with Ice Beam even though we had Light Screen up! That thing was really strong!

And Lime got frozen as well! That screwed our plans up!

Granbull punched Plum this time and knocked him out! We were three Pokemon down!

Even though Lime was freezing, it could still eat its Leftovers!

After eating its Leftovers, Lime also drank some matcha made by Salal!

Well, none of those mattered since Lime was frozen and couldn't move.

Salal used Matcha Gotcha to damage both Granbull and Primarina! We got close to knocking Granbull out!

And Salal's hot matcha burned Granbull up!

Poor Lime got blasted by Ice Beam again! We lost our fourth Pokemon while Lacey only had one knocked out!

Speaking of hot, Salal took a Fire Punch from Granbull!

It didn't actually do that much, since Salal ate its Occa Berry first!

And Granbull was knocked out by its burn! We finally defeated Lacey's second Pokemon!

Bad news was that our Tailwind was gone and we only had one Pokemon to send out.

We sent out our last resort, Redcurrant, while Lacey sent out Slowbro!

Salal used Rage Powder to redirect any attacks towards Redcurrant!

Redcurrant used that opportunity to set up Sunny Day!

I was really hoping the harsh sunlight would melt the ice, but Salal was hit by an Ice Beam!

That almost knocked Salal out! That's what would happen whenever we use Rage Powder strategy!

Slowbro fired at Salal with its Shell Side Arm and knocked it out! We got only Redcurrant left!

The Light Screen on the opposing team was finally gone! Time to unleash our power!

Redcurrant abosrbed light to use Solar Beam!

Thanks to the harsh sunlight, Redcurrant absorbed enough sunlight and knocked Primarina out immediately!

The problem was Slowbro, who took away most of Redcurrant's health with one hit!

Lacey sent in Alcremie next, while we had no one else to send in!

Oh, come on.

Slowbro drew out its Shell Side Arm and blasted Redcurrant!

Our first attempt at challenging BB League Elite Four was not quite successful!

vs Lacey (2)

Lacey beat me last time, but I won't let that happen again! Time to challenge her for a rematch!

Both of the trainers started the battle with the same pair of Pokemon! Let's hope history won't be repeated!

Whimsicott started with Moonblast on Raspberry! At least we won't need to worry about Light Screen this time!

And we had a different strategy as well! Raspberry used Reflect to support the team!

Plum went for Sludge Bomb on Whimsicott and left it at 1HP thanks to Whimsicott's Focus Sash!

Granbull went for Ice Punch on Raspberry and knocked him out again! Raspberry did not look amused!

We sent out Apricot to clean things up again, but this time she didn't get the Tailwind going!

Apricot used Fake Out to take out Whimsicott's remaining HP! No more screens for it to set up!

And Plum finished Granbull up with a Sludge Bomb! That was a clean double KO!

Sludge Bomb was a critical hit, and Lacey didn't like that. I don't think we did anything wrong though!

Lacey then sent out Slowbro and Primarina! Last time these two Pokemon did a lot of damage, so we were extra careful this time!

We know Lacey mostly uses Fairy-type Pokemon, so we removed Apricot's weakness to Fairy with Terastallization!

With the extra boost of the Grass-Tera Jewel, Apricot unleashed a powerful Petal Blizzard!

Apricot was no longer weak to Moonblast, but it still hurt quite a lot!

Primarina was doing too much damage, so we removed it immediately with a Sludge Bomb following up!

Slowbro then casted a Psychic on Plum! Plum took a lot, but he was still hanging!

Lacey then sent out her Alcremie! This is where we were defeated the first time around!

Apricot went on to Throat Chop Slowbro! It was a super-effective hit, but Slowbro took it with its great defense!

Slowbro ate its Sitrus Berry to help soothe its chopped throat!

Alcremie then put on some sweet treats on Slowbro!

That boosted Slowbro's Attack and Special Attack sharply! That thing was getting way too dangerous!

Apricot took a lot from Moonblast last time, so Plum healed her with Pollen Puff!

That didn't actually matter, since Slowbro landed a critical Shell Side Arm on Apricot! That was just not right!

Apricot was knocked out, but she did so much for the team already!

vs Lacey (3)

We sent in Salal next, who gave Plum some matcha to drink!

Alcremie went for Alluring Voice on Salal and took out half of its health! Ouch!

The more threatening one was definitely Slowbro, and we had Salal finished that thing up with Shadow Ball!

Plum then went on to throw a Sludge Bomb on Alcremie! We were still doing fine!

Alcremie was also holding Leftovers to give herself HP at the end of each turn!

Lacey's final Pokemon and the one she also used in our first battle, was Excadrill!

Lacey Terastallized her Excadrill into a Fairy-type as well!

Salal showered the field with Rage Powder, and everyone was looking at it!

Salal managed to take Excadrill's Iron Head just fine!

Oh no, Alcremie went for Decorate again! That would make Excadrill really threatening!

Well, Alcremie was too mad at Salal and gave Salal its decorations instead! Salal got some extra boosts!

Plum finished Alcremie up with Sludge Bomb!

Thanks for making Salal extra pretty, but it's time for you to go.

Lacey only had one Pokemon left, and she went all out with her attacks!

Excadrill used a Fairy-Tera Blast on Salal! I don't think Salal can take that one!

Tera Blast landed a critical hit, and that was just not right.

Since Excadrill was Terastallized into Fairy-type, it became weak to Sludge Bomb!

We sent in Lime next to hopefully clean things up!

Plum got knocked out by High Horsepower! He was hanging around since the start of the battle, and he did so much for the team!

Lime blasted a Leaf Storm on Excadrill, and knocked out Lacey's final Pokemon.

We did it! We defeated Lacey this time!

I have a feeling Lacey was just too distracted by the cuteness of our Pokemon!

I think my Grass-type Pokemon are the cutest! Each to their own, I guess.

Just like Gym Trials in Paldea, we took a photo to commemorate this moment!

Lacey also gave a TM of Alluring Voice, which sounds like an interesting move!

With our rank going up after this, I got more confident in our BB League challenge!

Drayton also came and congratulated me for beating an Elite Four member!

Of course I do! I work hard to show everyone what Grass-type Pokemon are capable of!

Well, Lacey probably just has really different moral standards than you.

Drayton continued to support us with the BB League challenge, though I wonder why he does that!

Onward to the Canyon Biome

Our next destination was the Canyon Biome!

Of course, we started by fine-tuning the environment of the Canyon Biome first! We should be able to run into more species of Pokemon now!

We also spent some of our BPs to get an Item Printer! We can now make new items by spending even more BPs!

We got a rare Gold Bottle Cap! I really do not collect this sort of things though.

We didn't get too many valuable items with the next few prints, but we did get an Ability Capsule!

We upgraded the Item Printer and got an Ability Patch alongside another Ability Capsule! (Let's just say it took more than a few tries.)

We used the Ability Patches to change Salak's ability to Contrary and Mamey's ability to Grassy Surge!

We also changed Salak's nature to Modest to better suit her new ability!

Mamey also learned Grassy Glide to go with his Grassy Surge!

We then went to explore the Canyon Biome, which is a rough and rocky terrain!

This student was nice enough to show us the way in the Canyon Biome!

We had Salak and Pomelo out to fight Graveler and Fraxure!

Salak is still a great support Pokemon for setting up Reflect!

Fraxure used Poison Jab, but Salak took it pretty well under Reflect!

Pomelo sliced through Graveler's defense, but Graveler was still hanging on!

Meanwhile, Graveler tried to cut through Pomelo with pointy stones, but Pomelo avoided the attack!

Salak finished Graveler up with a quick Leaf Storm!

Leaf Storm gave Salak a sharp Special Attack boost! She gets stronger every time Leaf Storm hits!

Fraxure went for Shadow Claw this time, but Pomelo still had plenty of health left!

Pomelo showed Fraxure how Ghost-type moves work with a Spirit Shackle!

Salak blew another Leaf Storm and knocked out Fraxure in one hit even though it was not very effective!

Well, I was new to the Canyon Biome at least.

The Canyon Biome might be a little too rocky for Grass-type Pokemon to grow, but I'll try my best to find them!

We found a cave around! Let's see what's inside!

Chargestone Cavern (1): Fighting Gauntlet

We entered the Chargestone Cavern! This is bigger than I thought!

The cavern is filled with Electric-type Pokemon like Electabuzz!

There are also Drilbur around! They probably dug their way through the cavern!

I think flowers, fruit and trees and things like that are more incredibly romantic.

We faced against Hitmontop and Hitmonlee, and Longan did a quick Frisk on them!

Hitmontop started the battle with a Fake Out on Longan! That's annoying!

Hitmontop was holding a Life Orb, so it would keep wearing itself down!

Loquat set up Tailwind behind our side!

That didn't matter much this turn, since Longan flinched from Fake Out!

Hitmonlee is a Pokemon skilled at kicking, but you don't need to put flames on your kicks!

And then Hitmontop finished Loquat up with a Bullet Punch. That was really rough.

Longan then used Psyshock on Hitmonlee, but that wasn't enough to knock it out!

Hitmonlee went for Blaze Kick again! At least Longan was fine taking that hit!

We couldn't just stand there getting assaulted by the hitmon brothers! We sent out Salak next!

Oh well, Longan got knocked out with a swift Mach Punch from Hitmontop.

In revenge, Salak knocked Hitmonlee out with a Leaf Storm!

That also gave Salak some great boosts! She's gonna be unstoppable!

We sent out Mamey and spread Grassy Terrain on the battlefield!

Scrafty intimidated Mamey and lowered hist Attack! But Salak didn't care about that and raised her Attack instead!

Hitmontop went for Mach Punch again and took out so much of Salak's health!

Salak lashed out with a boosted Leaf Storm! And she got even more boosts after that!

Mamey dropped a Wood Hammer on Scrafty and landed a critical hit! Though Scrafty still managed to toughen it out!

And Scrafty even got a Sitrus Berry to heal itself! This thing does not go down that easily!

As revenge, Scrafty crunched Mamey! Mamey got into low health range, but he should still be fine!

Our Tailwind petered out, but it shouldn't make a difference anymore!

Mamey then glided through the Grassy Terrain to strike Scrafty! It was still not quite enough though.

Well, Salak was ready to clean things up with her extremely strong Leaf Storm! She could go for even more if the battle lasted any longer!

In the rocky area of Chargestone Cavern, we found a Pokemon with a rocky shell, Chespin!

Soursop the Chespin is the newest member to the team, and she is a brave one!

Chargestone Cavern (2): Birds of a Feather

Excadrill are also drilling around the Chargestone Cavern! This cavern really doesn't feel like a safe place to be at!

Of course! I always believe in Pokemon, no matter who we are facing!

Oh no, the opponent sent out Mandibuzz and Talonflame! That's one of the worst combos I've ever seen!

We need our own wind to fight their wind-blowing birds!

Not even the Grassy Terrain would help our Grass-type moves here, we need other strategies to break through these mean big birds!

Knock Off didn't really do that much, but we removed Talonflame's Charti Berry!

Talonflame lived up to its name and set Loquat on flames!

Oh yeah, in case you didn't guess it, Loquat did not make it through.

Good news was, Talonflame hurt itself a lot as well with that hit!

Mandibuzz flew up high to prepare for a sky-high Fly attack!

We sent out Kiwano next to hopefully deal with these birds!

Being high up in the sky meant Mandibuzz could dodge all incoming attacks!

At least Kiwano still hit Talonflame with Rock Slide! And he landed a critical hit too!

Mamey couldn't touch Mandibuzz at all while it was flying!

Mandibuzz flew back down and crashed right into Kiwano! That did so much damage!

Ok, that critical hit was not necessary.

Toucannon was sent in next, but that didn't stop Kiwano using Rock Slide again!

Wood Hammer was not very effective against Mandibuzz, but that was already our best option!

And we got both of the big birds to flinch from Rock Slide! I guess Kiwano is pretty scary looking!

Meanwhile, we also got to heal some of our HP with the Grassy Terrain, which is something that bird Pokemon can't do!

Though Mandibuzz just healed itself with its Leftovers.

Kiwano kept using Rock Slide, but he missed the hit on Toucannon!

Mandibuzz was pretty defensive, and it managed to take so many hits!

At least we removed its Leftovers, and it should not be able to heal anymore!

I guess getting buried by rockslides would be pretty scary for Flying-type Pokemon.

And Toucannon flew up high as well. Oh well.

Speaking of fly, our Tailwind was gone! That was pretty annoying for our slow team, since we could no longer flinch those birds.

Without Tailwind on our side, Mandibuzz acted first and flew up high immediately.

Our attacks were meaningless, since the opponents were both gone from the field!

Toucannon struck Mamey with Fly and knocked him out in one hit. I was not amused.

And our Grassy Terrain went out as well! Things were getting from bad to worse!

Fortunately, we still had Salak by our side!

Salak quickly put on a Reflect to stand against the non-stop Flying attacks!

With Reflect by our side, Kiwano took that Fly much better this time around!

And Kiwano lashed out with a double Rock Slide! Mandibuzz was gone, and Toucannon was heavily damaged!

Goodbye, Mandibuzz. You will not be missed.

And of course, Toucannon was holding a Sitrus Berry.

Where do these birds fly to anyways? This cavern isn't that tall.

Since Toucannon was gone, we might as well get a Bulk Up to boost our Attack and Defense.

Not that it mattered, since Kiwano was knocked out by Fly anyways. He certainly did a lot in this battle though.

Salak landed her first Leaf Storm on Toucannon, and that wasn't quite enough.

And we showed this trainer the proper way to be a bird with Brave Bird! I think Pomelo's the best bird here no doubt.

I can't believe how long this took.
(This trainer took me like 80 screenshots. Let's see if we will beat this record.)

At least that battle wasn't for nothing! Soursop evolved into Quilladin!
