Just wondering, what method would event Pokemon be?

I'm not at home so I can't explain this as well. I know how to use the jap app. On the first section bottom right, insert ids and starting seed, have both boxes checked, and click the one box with opens a list in notepad with the shiny list. I think eggs don't have the same shiny as wild pokemon.

Events dont generate PIDS/IVs through any of the 1-3 methods, not really applicable here.

It looks like the inheritance for IVs HAS changed in Platinum. I'm on the case, looks like it's going to be an easy thing for me to fix on my end to have a platinum breeding method.

I also (and I am pretty tired so I could have just missed them) didn't find pids for my eggs on my list. I'm going to work on verifying the inheretence crap first and then get back to the pid.

I'm going to try and get my SID found and use the Japanese app to get a shiny.

When you get your seed from the JP app and it lists out the pids might be good to check for a match. I'm wondering if there is just a little magic to apply to the egg pids to get those right.

Mingot's app may not give you the right shiny spread, but the japanese app does.

multipy 7677524 x 12. Then do 92130289 - the number you get. That integer should be less than 12. That's how many times you need to flip it.

That guy deleted his post so this is pretty much worthless, unless it still helps him.

Sorry, I was going to edit it because I checked on the Jappanese app and got something different, and accidently deleted it. Gonna work with it a bit more, thank you!

The only way I know to get your secret ID is with an AR code. I'm not sure how else to do it.

I don't think they have an AR code for secret id in platinum, going to check.

You can have someone with an R4 find it out.

There is a platinum ID check, I used it to find mine. I can PM it to you or something, Isn't there a rule about posting AR codes?

Are you just just using the flash app, just the downloadable app or both? I never could get that one to download.

I use the download app which I think I got to work to find shiny egg. You have to type in 321 above the download button.

no because I dont know my secret ID, but I think I just got the code for SID so I will try soon.


The code I was provided did not work so I must continue my search for one that does.

So my initial seed is 7D150285. Gotta convert it from hex to dec, right? So it should be 2098528901, correct? Where do I go from here? There's 6 pokemon in my Party.

LightningFusion, you said that the Japanese one might give the correct one even if the other one doesn't, right? Since you have the other one working could you possibly double check this for me on the other one? I just can't get it to work.

Edit: Wait, yours is not shiny? Is this supposed to be a sure-fire thing or is there only an increased chance of getting a shiny? Either way, chaining is still a lot easier I think.

Go from app 5 to 6. double tap it 137 times. go to coin flip (app 16) and flip 11 times. Then get your egg. This should work.

I'm pretty sure I F'ed mine up on accident, double tap one more time than I should have.

If you still have the egg you should check the PID if you are able to see if you were in the right ballpark with that. Also what are you doing for the step 2 part to adjust to your initial seed? That's the part that confuses me about it.
