Mega Venusaur is a great wall on Poison-type teams, thanks to it not having a Ground-type weakness. Giga Drain can be used to deal with Rock-, Ground-, and Water-type threats like Terrakion, Gastrodon, and Urshifu-R, as well as providing a form of recovery. Hidden Power [Fire] is used to hit threats Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Gholdengo, and Ferrothorn. Leech Seed can provide another form of recovery, while Sludge Bomb can be used as a secondary STAB option. Earth Power can be used to hit Fire-type Pokemon like Heatran, Mega Charizard X, and Cinderace. The Speed EVs are used to outspeed Adamant Nature Azumarill. Mega Venusaur has a glaring weakness to Psychic-type and Ice-type attacks, so Pokemon like Alolan Muk and Toxapex make for great teammates, while Venusaur tanks the Ground- and Electric-type attacks that threatn those two. Mega Venusaur cannot hit Dragon- or Flying-type Pokemon like Garchomp, Dragonite, and Mega Charizard-Y, so Pokemon that can, like Nidoking and Nihilego, are appreciated offensive teammates. Venusaur is also susceptible to entry hazards, so Pokemon that run Defog like Crobat and Galarian Weezing are good teammates.

Mega Venusaur is a great wall on Poison-type teams, thanks to it not having a Ground-type weakness very vague for what mvenu does, add it's other utility and longevity with its great typing, ability to stuff ice and fire hits w/ thick fat, bulk, etc. Giga Drain can be used is an great option to deal with Rock-, Ground-, and Water-type threats like Terrakion Iron Boulder, Gastrodon, and Urshifu-R, as well as providing a form of recovery. Hidden Power [Fire] is used to hit threats Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Gholdengo, and Ferrothorn. Whereas, Leech Seed can provide another form of recovery, while and Sludge Bomb can be used as a secondary STAB option. Earth Power can be used to hit Fire-type Pokemon like Heatran, Mega Charizard X, and Cinderace. The 16 Speed EVs are used to outspeed Adamant Nature Azumarill and threaten it with Giga Drain. Mega Venusaur has a glaring weakness to Psychic-type and repeated Ice- and Fire-type attacks, so Pokemon like Alolan Muk and Toxapex make for great teammates to stuff these hits, with Muk being able to trap and remove threats such as Tapu Lele and Latios, while Venusaur tanks the Ground- and Electric-type attacks that threaten those two.

Notes:
mention Sneasler and Iron moth as great teammates that take advantage of venusaur chipping everything, and with both being able to easily counter most steel types.
mention Synthesis after Giga Drain, of it being a reliable recovery move incresing venu's longevity

that's all!
