LC Venonat

[OVERVIEW]
Venonat offers no real competitive value and is outclassed by Foongus or Morelull. Its biggest draw is a 4x resistance to Fighting-type attacks, which can be quite useful with Fighting-types playing such a big role in Little Cup. It also has access to Compound Eyes and Sleep Powder, which lends some nice support, although Foongus or Morelull would probably be a better choice overall.

[SET]
name: Sleep Powder Support
move 1: Sleep Powder
move 2: Morning Sun
move 3: Sludge Bomb
move 4: Psychic
item: Eviolite
ability: Compound Eyes
nature: Bold
evs: 36 HP / 36 Def / 116 SpA / 76 SpD / 236 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Although Venonat has pretty attractive typing with regard to resisting Fighting-type attacks, it can't really hit back. A weakness to Stealth Rock and common Flying- and Psychic-type attacks doesn't offer many opportunities to switch in. Foongus and Morelull are better options due to their better defensive statistics and overall better typing.

[OVERVIEW]
Venonat suffered a major blow after the ban of Baton Pass and is now rendered pretty much useless. Its biggest draw is Coumpound Compound Eyes and Sleep Powder, but in a tier with Foongus and Morelull that doesn't count for much. Best advice is to steer clear of Venonat.

Honestly, outside of novelty or use on a Monotype team, Outside of novelty there isn't really any reason to use Venonat. It has no discernable discernible advantages over anything in a similar role, such as Foongus or Morelull would be a better choice.

Mention that Venonat's draw is also the 4x resistance to Fighting-type attacks.

[SET]
Venonat is never sweeping anybody. Replace Agility with Morning Sun, change the set name.

[SET COMMENTS]
Include an extra sentence at the start saying that Venonat can check Fighting-types relatively effectively but fails to exert pressure on opposing teams, cut the "novelty" sentence. Your last sentence doesn't make much grammatical sense at the end, try to fix that before GP.

Venonat suffered a major blow after the ban of Baton Pass and is now rendered pretty much useless (talking about generational changes in tiers isn't allowed. I tried to reconfigure this sentence so your point still gets across) offers no real niche and is outcompeted by (then list notable examples). Although Venonat has pretty attractive typing vis-á-vis with regard to resisting Fighting-type attacks, but it can't really hit back.
