Hello! I'm not signing up, but I'm here to highlight some of the players who have signed up and their experience in Ubers UU and the Uber UU community. I'm sure many people I don't mention would also be great, but here are the players I'd like to highlight who have signed up so far, in two sections: The "established threats" and those looking to prove themselves, totally my own opinion. Not ordered within sections.
Established Threats
Imperial : A council member and incredibly solid player, you will often find them hogging the top spots in room tours, and they always are extremely educated and the most active person within the community. They make great points and consistently are a threat to the best players.
Dorron : Another council member! They did not start in Ubers UU like many have, but that means they have more overall smogon experience. Dorron has done quite well in UBers UU tournaments, including
getting top 8 in the Ubers UU Open
Rasche : Rasche is one of the best tournament player's we've seen, getting
2nd in the Ubers UU Open and
4th in the Ubers UU kickoff. Not quite as active in the community, but clearly they don't need to in order to perform well.
Leo Justice : Council Leader, huge community figure, and
won the first ever Ubers UU Tournament. A titan in the community
Shadow079 : I know them as Aipom Hoshino, and they
placed top 8 in the Ubers UU Open and has given themselves a scary reputation in the tournament scene
Baddy : 2nd place in the
Ubers UU Open, and an incredibly creative player all around
temp : Should I be commenting on THE temp?
They only lost in Ubers UU Open in 4th, to the eventual 1st place
Looking to make a name
Bouff :
Placed top 8 in Ubers UU Kickoff
Creator of Some : A mainstay in the community, an great guy for team cohesion, and boasts a
top 16 placement in the Ubers UU Open
vesp : Another Council member who doesn't compete in tournaments as much, but is known for making solid teams and is a great, adaptable pick for any group
Bella : A newer addition to the community, they are on the QC team and have an excellent knowledge of the current meta
olivia :
Placed top 16 in the Ubers UU Kickoff
Finchely : Council Member with a consistent playstyle, and beloved in the community (one of our goats). And you can say you have "finch" on ur team ;)
SwordIsBored : Another Council member initially hailing from another community, they are were in charge of the sample teams for a long while, and easily contributed the most to it so far. Excellent teambuilder
Go make a sandwitch : Long standing figure of the community, and a great guy to pick if you're assembling a team you want to be good friends.
Portobello : Hasn't competed a ton in tournaments, but everyone in the community knows and respects them. Is doing excellent in Ubers UU draft league though!
Pajoomas! : Excellent rain player, one of the first people to
Shin Meganium Tensei
