Basically, I want to take the Timmy/Johnny/Spike article/dichotomy used in Magic and apply it to Pokemon. I feel that it does describe various Pokemon players and it would be an interesting way to look at things. As a brief outline:
What is a Timmy? "Karen", uses Pokemon because they like the Pokemon and they find it fun.
What is a Johnny? Creative players, always out to try something new, create the "new big thing" "DeniSS"
What is a Spike? Tourney player, strives to be the best (like no one ever was)
