I also had a woman say the same thing but she was alonecontext: i work at a clinic that does covid tests
canadian woman lectured me for 20+ minutes on subjects including but not limited to: the dangers of 5g towers, how she knows coronavirus is actually standard influenza, how she is scared to go back to canada because of evil socialism, how she KNOWS that the covid test swabs have dangerous BRISTLES compared to other kinds of swabs (even if this is true i dont care)
didnt you just get a job? get off your high horse and join us down in the dirt for once jsus christwhat is this "work" of which you all speak?
Does your firm have any opening? I am a soon to be college graduate looking to do road design stuff on busy 45 mph roads. Please let me know, I'd love to apply.I was out on a site visit for work today (civil engineer doing road design) and a woman in a corolla came to a full stop on a busy 45 mph road and rolled down her window to say:
"Hey did you wash your jeans with windex?"
I replied "no" with probably a confused look on my face and she followed with
"cause I can sure see myself in them" and drove off
nice try, but i'm not falling for an obvious corporate shillOne thing that no longer happens at work for me is playing pokemon. For years I've been flirting with disaster by playing mons at work on the DL until I finally had a close/wake-up call one day. For the last three months I haven't played at work, or at all really, and I have honestly felt so much happier. I'm no longer stressed about potentially getting in trouble over being the idiot playing games on company time. And surprise, surprise, my productivity has like drastically increased. I even got a raise.
So yeah games are fun and all but an honest day of work can be more rewarding than dominating the ladder. I finally grew up just enough to realize this and it has been great.
