Following up on our last request and its excellent response, we'd like to run it back.

Requester: Lou (me)
For: BBP's Battle Tree OP.
Art Direction: A trainer and their Pokemon doze peacefully beneath a monumental tree. What might they imagine?

The thread linked is outdated, and the finished piece would be used as the header for its Gen 9 replacement. However, it's still going to be the same style of play as before, so the linked thread is still a good starting point. If it helps, here's an example challenge where a player is expected to both write for and battle against the referee. The Battle Tree has a more relaxed place of play compared to BBP's other battle facilities; so the piece should reflect that mood.

The best reference for this sort of scene might be found in the TCG—they have made an effort to include this sort of slice-of-life scene in full-art cards recently, rather than only battle-focused scenes.

If the piece is made to be a bit wider than 16:9, that would make the thread more pleasant to view on both mobile (where it would dominate less of the screen) and PC (where users would be able to enjoy its detail).

This request doesn't have any particular deadline.

This took far longer than it ever should have taken me, and I'm sorry about tha, but I can finally say it's done

For: New project: OU Puzzle Club. A thread where a new in-battle puzzle is posted weekly for players to dissect and discuss. Similar to chess puzzles but for pokemon! Examples could be an endgame scenario with known information and players have to find the way to win, or maybe a team preview where players have to guess the sets and determine who has the advantage.
Art Direction: I am pretty open to whatever but I had some ideas that might be cool
Option one would be a graphic of four jigsaw puzzle pieces in a square with different OU pokemon on each one. So it's a puzzle made of OU pokemon.
Option two would be based on the chess aspect. It could be maybe two pokemon looking at a chessboard (maybe valiant and another somewhat humanoid) and on the board is a couple pokemon as chess pieces with Kingambit being one obvious choice. Would probably be best to just have a few pieces so it's not so crowded visually. Also not sure how the perspective would work exactly but the idea seems fun.

Also would like text saying OU Puzzle Club at the bottom or top

Open to other options if you have something you think might fit.

Thread is not live yet but I would like to have it up sometime in the next week
