Ground Zero Anomaly Expedition
Area Zero is still a largely unexplored part of Paldea. A recent power surge from the abandoned lab has caused drastic shifts in the environment, which the Mesagoza Academy would like to see investigated. Unfortunately, access is severely restricted to top scientists, which you are not. However, scientists are helpless against the unusually strong Pokémon of the Area and are in need of strong Trainers to act as their escort during their missions, and that's where you come in.

Habitat Info:
The first Treks will always be the Trek associated with player's first Pokemon's first type, and the second Trek will always be the Trek associated with the player's second Pokemon's first type. The third and final trek is always Ground Zero Arrival.
Fully completing this Habitat (Catching 6 Pokemon) earns the player's team members the ability to Terastallize. The player will select a Tera Type for each of their Pokemon when claiming their rewards.

Dragon Trek: Draconic Throne
According to the scientists, this is an ancient place of worship where draconic Pokemon were revered as gods. The power of belief strengthened the dragons' abilities and their mastery over nature, with the descendants of those godly dragons still harenssing that power.

When a Pokemon is hit with an attack: Remove all Switching markers from the attacker. Then, place a Switching marker on the defender.

Well, I have no way to stop the EN KO here, so I guess I’ll just have to say that we got scuffed by the 10% miss chance here and move on.:pikuh:

(Technically I could stop it with Attract to KO my own Swampert first, but I can’t do that and Toxic so alas that doesn’t work either.)

:Swampert: “Sorry ta see ya go so soon.”

Max Elixir (Swampert, Zygarde)~Full Heal (Zygarde)~Toxic
KO. At start of Turn 3, if the opposing Swampert is Knocked Out, then Chill.

Well I die step 3 and I go first via law of first order so...
Swampert and Zygarde get 40 EN each! The rest floats into the water. That...can't be good for the wild pokemon...
Zygarde was cured of it's poison!

Swampert does it's moves, tiring itself out...
:sv/swampert:
"Huff...huff... Ughh..."
It floats down to the sea bed.
It happened before you could Chill.

(New Round btw)

Kingdra comes in.

"Okay...focus... focus..."
Focus Energy > Laser Focus + Focus Energy > Agility
TLDR; this enkos lol

Swampert uses up 7+7+12 EN. That's 26 EN lost!

You watch as two glowing yellow eyes light up in the murky depths.
:kingdra: "...Why are you 3 looking at me like that- AHH-"
Kingdra is SNATCHED up. A cut off scream, as a silhouette moves by swiftly in the water...
Quickly! That might be the pokemon you're supposed to be looking for!

Onward!

Final Trek: Ground Zero Arrival
At the very heart of Area Zero is an anomalous, unnatural space of unrealized potential. Readings indicate that this space, deep within Area Zero's subterrane, is or once was a massive machine of unknown purpose. All that remains now is the distortion: A field of nonspace betwixt the known and unknown. And from within that space between, unrealized shapes perceive you.

While in this arena, the explorer's Pokemon each may Terastallize. Their Tera Type, if they don't have one of their own, will be their first Type by default.

Before first sending out, the referee must select a Tera Type of their choice for each Boss Pokemon in this trek.

At the end of the round, if one of the Boss Pokemon is fainted or captured, once per trek: The other Boss Pokemon's current Fatigue becomes 60.

The explorer can't counterswitch when a Boss Pokemon Terastallizes.

While Walking Wake is in play and Terastallized:
  • The weather is always Sun, and other effects can't discard, create, or modify Weather.
  • Hydro Steam's type is Walking Wake's Tera Type.

While Iron Leaves is in play and Terastallized:
  • The terrain is always Electric Terrain, and other effects can't discard, create, or modify Terrain.
  • Psyblade's type is Iron Leaves' Tera Type.
Wild Items: None

Camouflage: Normal | Nature Power: Terrain Pulse | Secret Power: The user Faints.

:Zygarde: “The order of this realm is falling to corruption as well…”

Sending out Zygarde with Shell Bell.

Zygarde will Terastylize into the Dragon Type. Would Walking Wake like to Terastylize in response?
