This specs chandelure is an counter to donkey kong, since it can safely switch in gg/souppower ( 252 Atk Rillaboom Grassy Glide vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Chandelure in Grassy Terrain: 79-93 (30.2 - 35.6%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery ) and can ohko back with overheat. ( 252+ SpA Choice Specs Chandelure Overheat vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Rillaboom: 1016-1196 (297.9 - 350.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO ) flame body over flash fire to hav an good chance of burning boomer on the switch, psychic for one of monke's biggest teammates, le lucha and clear smog to deal with setup sweepers.

Skarmory @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Spikes
- Roost
- Whirlwind

- Body Press

:skarmory: is an amazing defensive check to this Rillaboom-set as iit can Whirlwind it out when Rillaboom has proceeded a set-up with Swords Dance, furthermore Skarmory can make use of Roost to stay healthy in the long run of the game to check Rillaboom. Spikes is excellent and mandatory to wear down Rillabooms teammates and also Rillaboom down. Body Press can help with wearing Rillaboom down and Rillaboom cant do much to Skarmory. Rocky Helmet is another great option on Skarmory to wear down pyhsical threats and chip 'em down.

calcs:
252+ Atk Life Orb Rillaboom Grassy Glide vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory in Grassy Terrain: 29-35 (8.6 - 10.4%) -- possible 9HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Life Orb Rillaboom Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory: 103-122 (30.8 - 36.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Rillaboom Grassy Glide vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory in Grassy Terrain: 58-69 (17.3 - 20.6%) -- possible 5HKO after Stealth Rock
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Rillaboom Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory: 205-243 (61.3 - 72.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

252+ Def Skarmory Body Press vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Rillaboom: 110-130 (32.2 - 38.1%) -- 1.1% chance to 3HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery

Hawlucha @ Grassy Seed
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Acrobatics
- Close Combat
- Taunt

Hawlucha is a very effective check to Rillaboom, capable of handling all of its attacks and taking advantage of Grassy Terrain by activating its Unburden boost, making it very difficult to revenge kill. In return, Hawlucha can OHKO Rillaboom with Acrobatics and possibly reverse a sweep with Swords Dance. The defense boost from Grassy Seed means that it will have a better matchup against it. Common partners like Rotom-H and Magnezone are also destroyed by Close Combat. Hawlucha does not always enjoy switching into a +2 Grassy Glide from Rillaboom however, as it will perform a 2HKO on it.

+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Rillaboom Grassy Glide vs. +1 0 HP / 0 Def Grassy Seed Hawlucha in Grassy Terrain: 174-205 (58.5 - 69%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Rillaboom Superpower vs. +1 0 HP / 0 Def Grassy Seed Hawlucha: 153-181 (51.5 - 60.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Hawlucha totally appreciates VoltTurn support from partners like Zeraora and Urshifu-S, so it's something to consider.

Volcarona @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Flamethrower
- Safeguard / Psychic
- Roost

Volcarona acts as a check for this Rillaboom set , able to a hit from all of it's moves except for boosted High Horsepower which would otherwise OHKO Volcarona. Volcarona can then remove Rilllaboom with Flamethrower being able to outspeed Rillaboom , or can begin to set up if you can predict that Rillaboom is going to switch out. Volcarona also has a chance on crippling Rillaboom with Flame Body , reducing it's overall damage , allowing for Volcarona to recover and completely shut down Rillaboom in total.

reserving tangrowth

Tangrowth @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Giga Drain
- Knock Off
- Sludge Bomb
- Sleep Powder / Stun Spore

Tangrowth is a solid defensive check to Rillaboom. It is able to take Rillaboom`s attacks decently and wearing it down with Rocky Helmet and it can 2HKO it with Sludge Bomb. Because of its pivot capabilities thanks to its ability Regenerator you don't need to keep it completely out of the match until Rillaboom enters the field, but still keep an eye on its HP since it barely take 2 LO SD-boosted Superpower.

+2 252 Atk Life Orb Rillaboom Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Tangrowth: 204-240 (50.4 - 59.4%) -- 82.4% chance to 2HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery
+1 252 Atk Life Orb Rillaboom Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Tangrowth: 153-181 (37.8 - 44.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery
(you are never 2HKO`d from full thanks to Grassy Terrain healing you up [82,2%-98,2%])

0 SpA Tangrowth Sludge Bomb vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Rillaboom: 188-222 (55.1 - 65.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery

Salazzle (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Corrosion
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic
- Nasty Plot
- Sludge Wave
- Fire Blast

Salazzle is a nice anti meta check to Rillaboom, thanks to its natural double resist to grass and its speed. Salazzle can OHKO Rillaboom with either of its STABs, which are additionally really good against the current defensive mons of OU. Even if they are not directly threatened by its attacks, they do not appreciate being poisoned and with its ability Salazzle can even poison usually immun Pokemon like Toxapex.
This set gets hard walled by Blissey, so you need a partner like Crawdaunt, which can hard punish such a switchin. Sadly its bulk is very lacking so it gets 2HKOed by a +2 Grassy Glide and it is likely to be OHKOed by a +2 Superpower, so you need support by slow U-Turns/Volt Switches or Teleport,
but these are generally really good for Salazzle.

252 SpA Salazzle Sludge Wave vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Rillaboom: 372-440 (109 - 129%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Rillaboom Grassy Glide vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Salazzle in Grassy Terrain: 156-183 (56.3 - 66%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Rillaboom Superpower vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Salazzle: 273-322 (98.5 - 116.2%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO

Edit: You can run a spread of 12 HP / 144 Def / 152 SpA / 200 Spe to survive 2 +2 Grassy Glides but I do not think the loss in power is worth it

Mandibuzz @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Foul Play
- Roost
- Defog / Toxic / Knock Off
- U-turn / Toxic / Knock Off / Brave Bird

Mandibuzz can comfortably take a +2 Superpower from full health and OHKOs back with Foul Play. This effectively shuts Rillaboom down for a while as far as setting up is concerned, which makes a big difference versus hyper offence teams that can't afford to lose momentum too much or re-lay Stealth Rock, and while this does leave it in a position where it needs to Roost up later, opportunities to do so are far from uncommon with Mandibuzz. It's worth noting, however, that Rillaboom on BO/balance is able to pressure Mandibuzz if it knocks off its Boots, especially if you go for the EVs on the analysis page as opposed to this fully physically defensive spread.

Reserving weezing galar

Weezing-Galar @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Sludge Bomb
- Pain Split
- Will-O-Wisp

Not much to say here, but this thing is the best counter you can find. Even with +2 attack Rilla barely dents it, while Weezing can chip it down with pain split and rocky helmet. It dosen't help that Rilla cannot switch in without being crippled, as if it's healthy it'l be worn down by pain split, taunt shutting down set up moves, sludge bomb nailing it for SE DAMAGE or burned.

Corviknight @ Leftovers / Shed Shell
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Brave Bird / Body Press
- U-Turn / Body Press
- Defog
- Roost

Corv is Corv, does Corv things. Brave Bird OHKOs Rilla at -1 Def, Pressure limits it to 4 Superpowers, Defog nixes its precious terrain and possible hazard support, and Shed Shell ignores any Magnezones that might want to ruin Corv's fun. I know that the analysis spread only runs 28 Def and a Careful nature to check Rilla, but I personally prefer max/max to soft-counter it.

+2 252 Atk Life Orb Rillaboom Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Corviknight: 230-272 (57.5 - 68%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
0 Atk Corviknight Brave Bird vs. -1 0 HP / 4 Def Rillaboom: 378-446 (110.8 - 130.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Togekiss @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 248 HP / 60 Def / 200 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Air Slash
- Roost
- Heal Bell

Togekiss is an excellent check, as it resists every attack from Rillaboom, and can easily threaten it / KO it back with an Air Slash. Togekiss is able to easily sponge a +2 Grassy Glide, a max roll dealing only 63% damage. Togekiss is able to comfortably Roost off this damage later, allowing Togekiss to perform its job as a Rillaboom check consistently through out the match. Thanks to Heavy-Duty Boots and Heal Bell, Togekiss is also incredibly hard to wear down. 200 Speed EVs along with a Timid Nature outspeed Adamant Rillaboom, while the rest of the EVs are placed into HP and Defense.

calcs:
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Rillaboom Grassy Glide vs. 248 HP / 60 Def Togekiss in Grassy Terrain: 201-238 (53.8 - 63.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 SpA Togekiss Air Slash vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Rillaboom: 254-300 (74.4 - 87.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery

Reserving Rotom-Heat

:bw/rotom-heat:

Rotom-Heat @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Discharge
- Overheat
- Pain Split

Nominating Rotom-Heat as a check to Rillaboom. Not gonna go over too much as the set itself is very standard and you know what the moves do, but Rotom-Heat can almost always hardswitch into unboosted Rillaboom and threaten it out with a STAB Overheat or gain momentum with Volt Switch, maybe even boost up w/ nasty plot or recover some HP back w/ Pain Split. Timid and 252 EVs in speed let Rotom creep Jolly Rillaboom which helps you check it all the better. You get weared down throughout the course of the match a lot though so keep an eye on your health and you're good to go!

8 SpA Rotom-Heat Overheat vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Rillaboom: 392-464 (114.9 - 136%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Rillaboom Grassy Glide vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Rotom-Heat in Grassy Terrain: 195-230 (64.3 - 75.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Rillaboom Superpower vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Rotom-Heat: 342-403 (112.8 - 133%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Rillaboom Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Rotom-Heat: 277-326 (91.4 - 107.5%) -- 50% chance to OHKO
