Tournaments on the Wi-Fi Forum aren't seen to often, but seem to be pretty popular, so here's another one, run by KageryuEx and myself!
Rules:
- 6 vs 6 single battle, lv 100
- No Ubers (Garchomp is Uber. Deoxys-E is not)
- Sleep Clause -- only one pokemon on your opponent's team at a time can be put to sleep by you.
- OHKO Clause -- No One Hit Knock Out moves
- Evasion Clause -- No moves that increase evasion such as Minimize or Double Team
- Species Clause -- You cannot have two of the same Pokemon
- Hax Item Clause -- No items that involve luck such as Quick Claw, Razor Claw, Scope Lens, Kings Rock, and Brightpowder)
- Last Pokemon Self-KO Clause -- Do not use a self KO move when it's 1 vs 1 to force a tie, in that event, the user of the self-ko move loses.
- No disconnecting -- Probably the most important rule, we want things to be fair. In the case of a no-fault disconnect, a ruling will be made depending on the situation
- No team talk/scouting
- No hacks (not even legal ones!)
- Platinum moves are permitted, however, Shaymin-S, Appliance Rotoms, and Giratina-O (obviously) are not.
We'd like for active or once active Wi-Fi-ers to particpate, a good few months will suffice (3+). Having a trade thread will help show your activity, but it's not needed. This will help ensure less hacks in the tournament. This also helps to ensure activity in the tournament.
This tournament is also single elimination, with 32 Participants (no one likes byes). We'll take a few first round substitutes if needed.
