LET'S FINISH STRONG! Round Robin Bloodshed - ROUND 5!

Welcome, one and all, to the finals of the RBY Low Tier Circuit - UU Edition! It's all or nothing now! No takebacks, no excuses, all the chips are down and there's no backing down! With all the points on the line, there's no more formalities, no more games left except those that will tell us a winner! So take out your snacks if you're a spectator, and take up your arms if you're still in this competition, because we have only one week left!

It's winner-take-all for over 1/8 of the points in the entire circuit, but with three remaining players we're no longer forced into single-elim by this RBY Low Tier Circus. HOWEVER: Instead, this finals will be a round robin! Which means everyone battles everyone, to settle once and for all who is the strongest! Don't hold back on us, we'll all be watching to see how you duke it out amongst yourselves. Let's show them just how wild UU games can get!

As always, treat your opponents with respect and dignity - both in and out of battle. Not only is it the nice thing to do, but it is not proper coliseum etiquitte. Don't make me feed you to the persians or have you fight a kangaskhan or something.

  • This will be a single elimination, best of three tournament… as fun as other formats may be, this is what higher-ups told me to run, so that’s what we’re running.
  • All tournament games must be played on Pokemon Showdown!, and replays are required for all rounds. It is preferable to play on Smogtours - if players disagree on which server to play on, Smogtours is the default.
  • Each round will last one week. If you and your opponent are unable to schedule despite both players making an effort, extensions of up to 3 days may be granted. If one player fails to attend a scheduled time or does not make a genuine effort to schedule, an activity win may be awarded to the other player at the tournament host's discretion. If neither player makes an effort to schedule, the host may "coinflip" the win, awarding it at random. Please schedule publicly so as to ensure activity wins are judged correctly. See the Tournament Scheduling Guidelines for further information. If, for any reason, you have questions regarding scheduling or activity cases, please be civil about it and feel free to ask your hosts as needed.

Bracket/Host’s Notes: Sorry this is getting up later than usual, shoulder was acting up last night. Though, at least I don't have to make a bracket by this point lmao. Good to see the chronically-online discord trio in finals here, this should be fun to see (If you don't get what I mean, join the RBY discord, always fun antics going on in there).

I'm listing these here for a couple of reasons: So that they can be easily seen, but also so that it isn't a pain to enter them into the sheet (for whoever's in charge of that). I don't know how quickly it'll get updated, but I'm hoping that placing these here will assist in the process.

This is the first time I've hosted a circuit tour, but I like to think it went smoothly enough and that we all had a good time (As per usual, RBY being a rather chill group of people tour-wise helped immensely, gen1 tours are always a treat to host). If any of y'all have feedback, feel free to chuck it on my wall or send me a discord message.

Regardless of how well you placed in this tour, I'd like to thank you all for attending - sure, I may be the one hosting this stuff, but it's interested and dedicated players who really make tours possible. Truly, it's been a blast to host this, and I look forward to seeing y'all in any future tours. Until then, keep on battling!
