Mavericks 4 Warriors 1
Spurs 4 Nuggets 2
Suns 4 Lakers 0
Rockets 4 Jazz 3 (gotta pick the Texas, if I did not live in Texas, I would pick the Jazz)

Pistons 4 Magic 0
Cavaliers 4 Wizards 0
Nets 4 Raptors 3
Bulls 4 Heat 2

Rockets/Jazz looks like an amazing matchup, I cannot wait.

Not american, but watch enough NBA on Channel 5 (YEAH LATE NIGHT STONED TV) to participate, i think ^^

First Round Matchups
Detroit Pistons vs Orlando Magic (4-2)
Cleveland Cavaliers vs Washington Wizards (4-3)
Toronto Raptors vs New Jersey Nets (2-4)
Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls (4-3)

San Antonio Spurs vs Denver Nuggets (4-2)
Phoenix Suns vs Los Angeles Lakers (4-0) lol whitewash
Dallas Mavericks vs Golden State Warriors (4-1)
Utah Jazz vs Houston Rockets (3-4)

Hope I didn't just make a complete fool of myself.

Mavs over Warriors 4-1
I figure the Warriors can steal one with their potent, though inconsistent, offensive capabilities.
Suns over Lakers 4-2
Hopefully this series is as good as it was last year.
Spurs over Nuggets 4-1
Denver closed the season on a very hot streak, but I don't think they have performed well against the Spurs in recent years.
Jazz over Rockets 4-3
This one should be good. Could go either way, really.

Pistons over Magic 4-0
I hope Detroit stays focused and gets the sweep.
Cavs over Wizards 4-0
Poor Wizards, a horrible finish to a promising start. For those not keeping track, their two All-Stars are out with season-ending injuries.
Raptors over Nets 4-2
Hopefully this young Raptor team can maintain their momentum against a veteran playoff team.
Heat over Bulls 4-3
i hate the heat i hate the heat i hate the heat i hate the heat

I was perfect for the NFL Playoffs, time to repeat that

First Round Matchups

Detroit Pistons vs Orlando Magic
Webber gave the Pistons some fire lately, Howard will be a monster in years to come, but I think he'll suffer the T-Mac fate for awhile, Pistons 4-1

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Washington Wizards
Wizards have nothing, only reason they are in the playoffs is because of their start, they might steal a game, but I don't see it happening, Cavaliers 4-0

Toronto Raptors vs New Jersey Nets
This is a good match up, both teams can win it here, Carter might have some fans back in Toronto (boos), and Kidd is still a huge triple double threat every game, Nets 4-2

Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls
I think this series is based on Wade's health, if hes healthy he will outduel Gordon in the final minutes of each game, right now its still a toss up, Heat 4-2

San Antonio Spurs vs Denver Nuggets
AI and Melo are a dangerous combination, the Spurs have experience but they might be getting in on their years. Spurs are still playing great though, Spurs 4-1

Phoenix Suns vs Los Angeles Lakers
Suns showed they can slow Kobe, the Suns are too fast and can get to the rim at will against the Lakers, Kobe may have some big games, but the lack of offense or ability to stop the Suns will lose it for them (also Suns are my team), Suns 4-0

Dallas Mavericks vs Golden State Warriors
I want to see the upset here, if the first round was still 5 games I would take the Warriors for sure, but the Mavs have a chance to adjust, Don Nelson's knowledge of Dirk could come into play here and I expect this to be a little preview of the West Finals, Mavs 4-2

Utah Jazz vs Houston Rockets
Who knows, either team can take it, but T-Mac could be the x-factor here, Rockets 4-3

Mavericks 4 Warriors 1
Spurs 4 Nuggets 1
Suns 4 Lakers 0
Rockets 4 Jazz 2

Pistons 4 Magic 0
Cavaliers 4 Wizards 1
Nets 3 Raptors 4
Bulls 4 Heat 3

thats what I want at least.. cant wait for the Rockets and Jazz game!

Mavericks 4 Warriors 0
Dirk...
Spurs 4 Nuggets 1
A.I. will try to take over, leading to downfall of the Nuggets...
Suns 4 Lakers 2
Kobe's tough to beat but the Suns will pull it off...
Rockets 4 Jazz 3
T-Mac and Yao
Pistons 4 Magic 1
Dwight Howard will get them a win...
Cavaliers 4 Wizards 0
No Arenas...
Nets 4 Raptors 3
Nets aren't too bad...
Bulls 4 Heat 2
Hardcore Bulls fan so...

ok I didn't post my picks

Mavs win 4-1. Golden State beat them 3 times this year but this is also the playoffs they are lucky to get 1 win ;x
Spurs win 4-2 they always lose a few in the first round
Suns 4-2 they will have some trouble i think
Rockets 4-2

Pistons 4-0 magic suck
Cavaliers 4-1 washington will win ONCE even though they dont have their stars, they aren't THAT bad
Raptors 4-3 the only 7 game series because honestly both these teams suck and i dont really care
Heat 4-1

Western Conference

Mavericks over Warriors 4-2
Probably the worst possible matchup for Dallas. They would have had a much easier time against either of the LA teams. Golden State will push them but Dallas is just too good.

Suns over Lakers 4-3
Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if LA wins this. Kobe's the most competitive athlete in the league and unlike last year, he and Phil seem to have given up on the whole "get the team involved" thing. However, Phoenix is better than they were last year, the only way they lose this is if Kobe averages like 50 ppg (which could happen).

Spurs over Nuggets 4-0
Bad matchup for Denver, they would've had a much better time against a more up-tempo team like Phoenix. San Antonio is built for the playoffs, no one plays a better half-court game than they do.

Rockets over Jazz 4-3
Interesting series, I just like Houston because McGrady is the best crunch time scorer on either team.

Eastern Conference

Pistons over Magic 4-0
Uh yeah, Detroit owns Orlando, suck it darko.

Cavs over Wizards 4-1
I'm giving Washington a pity game here...

Raptors over Nets 4-3
Bosh should dominate here with Krstic gone, I mean Mikki Moore is okay...but he's Mikki Moore. Anyways this should be pretty entertaining since both PG's are good. I really hope toronto wins this though, Vince Carter sucks.

Bulls over Heat 4-3
Chicago played them pretty tough last year and they've only gotten better. On the other hand, Miami's regressed a little, I don't see Shaq ever putting up a 30-20 like he did last year.

Detroit Pistons vs Orlando Magic 4-0
Cleveland Cavaliers vs Washington Wizards 4-0
Toronto Raptors vs New Jersey Nets 4-2
Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls 4-2

San Antonio Spurs vs Denver Nuggets 4-2
Phoenix Suns vs Los Angeles Lakers 4-1
Dallas Mavericks vs Golden State Warriors 4-0
Utah Jazz vs Houston Rockets 4-3

Detroit Pistons vs Orlando Magic 4-0
Cleveland Cavaliers vs Washington Wizards 4-0
Toronto Raptors vs New Jersey Nets 4-2
Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls 4-3

San Antonio Spurs vs Denver Nuggets 4-2
Phoenix Suns vs Los Angeles Lakers 4-2
Dallas Mavericks vs Golden State Warriors 4-1
Utah Jazz vs Houston Rockets 4-2

San Antonio Spurs vs Denver Nuggets 4-1
Phoenix Suns vs Los Angeles Lakers 4-2
Dallas Mavericks vs Golden State Warriors 4-2 You heard it here first.
Utah Jazz vs Houston Rockets 4-2

Pistons VS Magic 4-1
Cavs VS Wizards 4-3
Raptors VS Nets 4-2
Heat VS Bulls (4-3) >> The best match in the East.

Spurs VS Nuggets 4-0
Suns VS Lakers 4-2
Mavs VS Warriors 4-0
Jazz VS Rockets 4-3

Detroit Pistons vs. Orlando Magic
Detroit should win this easily because of the Magic's lack of experience. However, I expect Grant Hill to be motivated to in the playoffs again after such a long time, especially against his former team, so I think the Magic will be able to win a home game here. 4-1

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Washington Wizards
Cleveland should easily win this, but then again I feel they will underestimate the Wizards and lose a game. This would be sooo much interesting if Arenas and Butler were available =(. 4-1

Toronto Raptors vs. New Jersey Nets
This one will be interesting. The Raptors are a surging team, and even though they are inexperienced when it comes to playoff basketball, I think they will still win against the more experienced New Jersey team (as much as I love them!) because of no Nenad Krstic and a hurting Richard Jefferson. Vince Carter will be extra motivated, however. I think it will go to 7 games, with Toronto winning because of the home court advantage. I hope I'm wrong, however! 4-3

Miami Heat vs. Chicago Bulls
Now this one will be interesting. With all of the problems the Heat have been facing this year its hard to say they can win, but hey, "Never under-estimate the heart of a champion". That's why I think the Heat will win, even though I love the Bulls, because they have been playing great despite an injured Dwayne Wade. 4-3

San Antonio Spurs vs. Denver Nuggets
The Nuggets are surging, referees are taking it against Tim Duncan =x. Ok maybe not, but the Nuggets are a deadly team when they play good D, and with Allen Iverson now around, it takes pressure of Carmelo Anthony facing Bruce Bowen. Oh, and Marcus Camby is a freakin' monster. I am honestly hoping for an upset here, so I'm going to say the Nuggets win! 4-2

Phoenix Suns vs. Los Angeles Lakers
Rematch of last year. Last year it went to 7 games, but the Suns didn't have Amare Stoudemire then, so this time it should be a bit easier for the Suns, even with Kobe Bryant scoring 30+. 4-2

Dallas Mavericks vs. Golden State Warriors
The Warriors swept their season series 3-0. I don't know what it is, but the Warriors play good against the Mavs. I don't think the Mavs will lose, but I wouldn't be surprised at all for this to go to 7 games. 4-3

Utah Jazz vs. Houston Rockets
Best matchup IMO. Two really strong teams. It can honestly go both ways. It should definitely be a 7 games series. I, however, give an edge to the Rockets because they finally have home court advantage, the Jazz aren't that strong on the road, and Tracy McGrady will be super motivated to finally win a playoff series. 4-3

I swear to god I am the BIGGEST basketball nut on the planet!!! I am also a diehard lakers fan lol, not too great a year for us but we're still hangin round

Detroit Pistons vs. Orlando Magic
Detroit will sweep the Magic, as they have too many players with big-game experience and have been there many times before 4-0

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Washington Wizards
No Arenas = No win sadly. However I do not no how long it is till he comes back so I'm saying 4-3 if Arenas played. 4-1 (4-3 if Arenas returns)

Toronto Raptors vs. New Jersey Nets
The Raps are my second favourite team, and have come good in the last year. Meanwhile, the Nets have plenty of big game experience, but with an unhealthy Nenad Krstic and Richard Jefferson, this may be too big a task. Still it'll be close. 4-2

Miami Heat vs. Chicago Bulls
The best series in the east imo. The Bulls have stormed home this season, and Ben Gordon and co. are in career form. However, its hard to go against the defending champs and with D-Wade back in the mix, look for Miami to win in a cliff . 4-3

San Antonio Spurs vs. Denver Nuggets
The Nuggest are the form team in the NBA, with the leagues highest scoring duo (sorry Yao) in Allen Iverson and Carmello Anthony. However, the Spurs thrive during big games, and their grind it out playing style really suits the playoffs. The Nugets are a good team, but the Spurs have the experience and the discipline to get it done. 4-2

Phoenix Suns vs. Los Angeles Lakers
Everybody is expecting Phoenix to win, but I wouldnt yet write off the Lakers. They have had heaps of injuries this season, and Kobe has had to carry much of the load, but look for him to share it as he did when they almost upset the Suns a year ago. My head says Phoenix in 6, but my heart says LA, so I'm gonna say Los Angeles win it in 7 games. 4-3

Dallas Mavericks vs. Golden State Warriors
The Warriors swept their season series 3-0, and although the Dallas stars (Nowitzki and co) were rested in their final matchup, the Warriors loom as a dangerous team for them to face. However, they have the deepest team in the L, the best season record and one of the smartest coaches around in Avery Johnson. Golden State are capable of giving them a scare, however, Dallas should win the series. 4-1

Utah Jazz vs. Houston Rockets
The hardest match to pick in the west, and probably the league. Utah have been really good this season, as have the Rockets, The Rockets have one of the best 1-2 Punches in Yao and T-Mac, but the Jazz have talented players such as Deron Williams, Mehmet Okur and Carlos Boozer, the latter a talked about MVP Canditate before his injury. I really cant pick this, but if I have to I'd say the Jazz in 7 games, as they have too much all court depth. 4-3

Detroit vs Orlando 4-0
Cleveland vs Washington 4-1
Toronto vs New Jersey 4-2
Miami vs Chicago 3-4

San Antonio vs Denver 4-1
Phoenix vs Los Angeles 4-2
Utah vs Houston 4-2
Dallas vs Golden State 4-1

Detroit vs Orlando 4-1
Orlando really has no chance, They have no perimeter defence to deal with billups hamilton and prince. Rasheed and Mcdyess can contain Howard.
Cleveland vs Washington 4-0
I would have picked Washington if arenas and Butler were around but without them they have no shot.
Toronto vs New Jersey 4-3
Toronto should be able to beat out the nets if they continue to play like they have been playing after the ASB. They have to take advantage of the nets down low
Miami vs Chicago 2-4
Miami has alot of guys banged up. Hinrich gaurds a healthy wade better then anyone else he should be able to deal with him. Chicago wont double team shaq much instead they will try and make the other players step up by not leaving them open for threes.

San Antonio vs Denver 4-2
Denver has finally been playing better. I can see them winning both games at home because of the fast pace they play and and either Melo or iverson has to come through in the clutch for them
Phoenix vs Los Angeles 4-1
LA has been falling apart they might win a game at home otherwise pheonix will break out the brooms
vs Houston Vs Utah 4-2
Houston has been playing great Utah has been falling apart. Utah doesnt have the interior defense to slow down yao
Dallas vs Golden State 4-2
Dallas should be able to win this out but golden state has been playing great

Basketball is my favorite sport

East:

Detroit Pistons 4 vs Orlando Magic 1

Pistons are way too good to be beaten by the Magic. Though a homecourt win isn't totally unexpected.

Cleveland Cavaliers 4 vs Washington Wizards 1

James vs Jamison basically.

Toronto Raptors 4 vs New Jersey Nets 2

Hate these teams, but imo Toronto has the advantage. Bosh has been blowing up lately, and that'll continue in the postseason.

Miami Heat 4 vs Chicago Bulls 3

Hehe, looking forward to this. The main reason Heat'll win imo is Wade's too good down the stretch. He gets calls like a sob and that'll have a great impact on the game/series.

West:

San Antonio Spurs 4 vs Denver Nuggets 2

Denver may have awesome offense, but the Spurs can contain Melo/AI.

Phoenix Suns 4 vs Los Angeles Lakers 3

The series I'm looking forward to the most. Phoenix'll win, but Kobe's good enough to carry the team to maybe 2 wins (i made it 3 b/c that shit Tim Thomas ain't around anymore)

Dallas Mavericks 4 vs Golden State Warriors 1

Some people are speculating that GS will pull the upset since they do well against the Mavs. I lol in their faces.

Utah Jazz 2 vs Houston Rockets 4

Gonna be a tight series, but Yao/Tmac duo will prevail imo.
