I swear to god I am the BIGGEST basketball nut on the planet!!! I am also a diehard lakers fan lol, not too great a year for us but we're still hangin round
Detroit Pistons vs. Orlando Magic
Detroit will sweep the Magic, as they have too many players with big-game experience and have been there many times before 4-0
Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Washington Wizards
No Arenas = No win sadly. However I do not no how long it is till he comes back so I'm saying 4-3 if Arenas played. 4-1 (4-3 if Arenas returns)
Toronto Raptors vs. New Jersey Nets
The Raps are my second favourite team, and have come good in the last year. Meanwhile, the Nets have plenty of big game experience, but with an unhealthy Nenad Krstic and Richard Jefferson, this may be too big a task. Still it'll be close. 4-2
Miami Heat vs. Chicago Bulls
The best series in the east imo. The Bulls have stormed home this season, and Ben Gordon and co. are in career form. However, its hard to go against the defending champs and with D-Wade back in the mix, look for Miami to win in a cliff . 4-3
San Antonio Spurs vs. Denver Nuggets
The Nuggest are the form team in the NBA, with the leagues highest scoring duo (sorry Yao) in Allen Iverson and Carmello Anthony. However, the Spurs thrive during big games, and their grind it out playing style really suits the playoffs. The Nugets are a good team, but the Spurs have the experience and the discipline to get it done. 4-2
Phoenix Suns vs. Los Angeles Lakers
Everybody is expecting Phoenix to win, but I wouldnt yet write off the Lakers. They have had heaps of injuries this season, and Kobe has had to carry much of the load, but look for him to share it as he did when they almost upset the Suns a year ago. My head says Phoenix in 6, but my heart says LA, so I'm gonna say Los Angeles win it in 7 games. 4-3
Dallas Mavericks vs. Golden State Warriors
The Warriors swept their season series 3-0, and although the Dallas stars (Nowitzki and co) were rested in their final matchup, the Warriors loom as a dangerous team for them to face. However, they have the deepest team in the L, the best season record and one of the smartest coaches around in Avery Johnson. Golden State are capable of giving them a scare, however, Dallas should win the series. 4-1
Utah Jazz vs. Houston Rockets
The hardest match to pick in the west, and probably the league. Utah have been really good this season, as have the Rockets, The Rockets have one of the best 1-2 Punches in Yao and T-Mac, but the Jazz have talented players such as Deron Williams, Mehmet Okur and Carlos Boozer, the latter a talked about MVP Canditate before his injury. I really cant pick this, but if I have to I'd say the Jazz in 7 games, as they have too much all court depth. 4-3
