This forum has been around a long time, so long that your grandmother might even know what it is. But like any other community that persists throughout time, it has undergone several changes in terms of what people are drawn to it for. So whether you're an interested reader, hopeful new community member, current player of games, or familiar face from the past looking to make a return, this thread is a resource you can utilize to learn more about what we're all about here these days.
So, what exactly do we do here? Just play games? The answer is... yes, but a select genre of games. In the present day, most emphasis is on social deduction and strategy games, such as Survivor and Mafia. These types of games are the backbone of our community. However, you may see fun miscellaneous games appear from time to time, such as music submission competitions known as Walruses. No, it's not Walri. If none of this means anything to you right now, that's okay, because the games that are the main staples of our community will be explained in posts following this one. But first, see below for our current staff team and community rules.

Community Rules
2. Zero toleration policy when it comes to bigotry, harassment, doxxing, or any other form of creating an unsafe environment.
3. Any attempts to cheat or gain an unfair advantage in a game by bending or breaking game rules will lead to a game ban or community-wide ban depending on the nature of the offense. Play by the rules, nobody likes a cheater.
4. Abide by any rules game hosts have set forth for their respective game, even if they're not universal rules. For example, if copy and pasting logs from conversations is allowed by hosts in one game but not in another, don't exploit it by trying to get away with it in the game where it's prohibited.
5. As a spectator of a game where information must remain sensitive for game integrity, such as Survivor, don't share anything you've spectated with anyone that doesn't also share the same ability or permissions to obtain that information.
6. If you're not a living player in an ongoing Mafia game, avoid posting in the thread unless otherwise permitted by the game hosts.
7. Screenshots of any kind are banned unless explicitly allowed by game hosts after receiving approval from staff.
8. Keep message quality up. Banter is fine, but don't post an excessive amount of spam or junk up threads with sour content.
9. Submit game proposals by making a thread in the proposals forum found here. Feel free to gauge interest in your idea first by asking around in our Discord server or making a post in this thread. After submission, staff will review your proposal and provide feedback as needed.
10. Be a good sport. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose, but we can always do our best to not be excessively rude when things go wrong.
