Is my team THAT bad?

I've taken competitive battling in Pokemon seriously since I was little, and since then I made a team that seems to have been good, but ever since high school I met this guy and I KEEP GETTING BEATEN BY HIM, AND HE USES POKEMON LIKE WHIMSICOTT AND TORKOAL. He tells me my team is complete shit, and it really pisses me off because I've been building something like this since Diamond and Pearl came out. Anyways, I want to ask; Is my team THAT bad? Now, I want to IMPROVE, I really don't want to get rid of these guys since I've had them a long time.

Hey dude, the RU forum isn't exactly the best place to post this thread. The Rate My Team Forum would be better for that kind of thing (although you'll have to type at least 3 lines of description for each Pokemon, i'd also use the "other" tag because it doesn't really seem like a team for any specific smogon tier).

Either way, i definitely think this team needs some work tbh (two megas on the same team, some of the EV spreads are a bit weird, 252 Special Defense on Charizard isn't really a good idea, might want to put those in Speed for example, Assault Vest Power Up Punch Dusknoir is flat out bad).

if you want to get better at battling/get into the community, be sure to check out the mentor/battling 101 programs. The former is more for generally getting into the smogon community, while the latter is exclusively for battling.
