Doubles Incineroar (Doubles)

:ss/incineroar:
Incineroar @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 68 Atk / 32 Def / 160 SpD
Careful Nature
- Fake Out
- Knock Off
- Flare Blitz
- Parting Shot

Thanks to Intimidate combined with access to valuable support moves, Incineroar stands out as one of the best pivots in the tier and one of the few reliable Ghost-resistant Pokemon able to check Spectrier and Dragapult. Fake Out + Parting Shot gives the upper hand in positioning, either by keeping your partner safe for a turn from an opposing threat or by slowly and safely bringing in one of your own threats. This also allows Incineroar to come back again on the field and reuse Intimidate and Fake Out, with Heavy-Duty Boots keeping it safe from entry hazards. Knock Off can remove valuable items such as Eviolite from Porygon2 and Leftovers from Tapu Fini. Incineroar works well on a variety of teams as a glue Pokemon; teammates such as Tapu Fini specifically appreciate its ability to threaten Grass-types such as Rillaboom and to generate safe turns for it to set up with Calm Mind, while offensive threats such as Urshifu-R value the slow, safe switch. The given EV spread allows Incineroar to survive a Steam Eruption from Volcanion while also securing the KO on Dragapult, showing off its all-around talent.

Thanks to Intimidate combined with access to valuable support moves, Incineroar stands out as one of the best pivots in the tier,(RC) and is one of the few reliable Ghost resists Ghost-resistant Pokemon able to check Spectrier and Dragapult. The combination of Fake Out and Parting Shot Fake Out + Parting Shot gives the upper hand in positioning, either by keeping your partner safe for a turn from an opposing threat,(RC) or by slowly and safely bringing in one of your own threats,(RC) typically free of charge. Parting Shot also has the added benefit of crippling foes on the switch, and enables recycling (I'm not rly sure what you meant there, I assume you want to explain how Incineroar can come back and re-use Intimidate + Fake Out, the initial dex info was unnecessary tbh, lmk if there's another way you want to phrase this via Discord, 'cause I'm not rly a fan) allows Incineroar to come back again on the field and use Intimidate and Fake Out, with Heavy-Duty Boots keeping it safe from entry hazards. Knock Off can also remove valuable items such as Eviolite on from Porygon2 or and Leftovers on from Tapu Fini. Incineroar works well on a variety of teams as a glue-type Pokemon; teammates such as Tapu Fini specifically appreciate its ability to threaten Grass-types such as Rillaboom and ability to generate safe turns for it to set up with Calm Mind, while offensive threats such as Urshifu-R value the slow, safe switch-in switch. The given EV spread allows Incineroar to survive a Steam Eruption from Volcanion while also securing the KO on Dragapult, showing off its all-around(AH) talent.
