Hey this is Splashbrutha here with another RMT, the team was made for a Core Laddering Challenge which was required to build around Togekiss and Klefki. I was able to peak the ladder challenge with a 1712 Elo and an 81.6 Gxe with the alt CCS2Fa1 Splash which was good for top 20 on the ladder. The team is essentially built to be Offensive Fairy, and the ladder was fun with it. I was looking for some positive/negative feedback on the team overall it has a great matchup vs most of the ladder I feel and I enjoy using the team and would like it to as successful as possible. Have u experienced Harmonic Convergence!

Core was built around Togekiss and Klefki these two mons are already in

Togekiss Sprite.png

Togekiss serves as a great Scizor answer to replace Clefable's role as well as solid utility

Togekiss Sprite.png
klefki sprite.png

To give the team more utility, Klefki is used as a screen setter and an annoying mon in general to aid with Scizor

Togekiss Sprite.png
klefki sprite.png
Mega Diancie Sprite.png

Next up Fairy's best Mega overall Mega Diancie is an offensive threat and hard to switch in to running a mixed set

Togekiss Sprite.png

Mega Diancie Sprite.png
Tapu Koko Sprite.png

After I added Tapu Koko, as it is one of the fastest mons in the meta and is deadly in Electric Terrain

Mega Diancie Sprite.png
Tapu Koko Sprite.png
Tapu Bulu Sprite.png

Using Tapu Bulu as a Choice scarf user is good as speed control is needed, also the Grassy Terrain supports the whole team in general

Lastly, including Azumarill as a Belly Drum sweeper, and a win condition is too good to pass up, as well as offering priority, and a good Z-Move slot

Defog
Togekiss serves as a Utility mon that is the Teams answer to Mega Scizor and Excadrill to an extent with some chip. The Babiri Berry halves the damage from a Steel move enabling Togekiss to OHKO back with Fire Blast and thus get rid of the threat. Air Slash is its most important STAB move allowing Togekiss to deal damage and has a 60% chance of flinching the opponent. Aura Sphere OHKO's Bisharp and hits Heatran and nicely as well. Fire Blast to roast steel types, and defog to get rid of hazards primarily Sticky Webs from the Mirror Fairy matchup where Ribombee skill swaps away Mega Diancie's Magic Bounce and gets up webs. Also if the opponent decides to hazard stack mindlessly Togekiss can clear them. Maximum HP investment allows Togekiss to take hits and 176 Speed EVs with a Timid Nature allows Togekiss to outspeed and ohko the likes of Jolly Bisharp and Breloom. the rest of the EVs are put into SpA to ensure that SpD Mega Scizor is OHKO'd by Fire Blast. Serene Grace is Togekiss best ability as it doubles secondary effects of Air slash (60% chance to flinch) and Fire Blast (20% chance to burn).

Foul Play

Klefki's role is a passive utility mon that can spread status the the opponent and setup screens for allies. Light Clay extends the duration of the moves Reflect and Light Screen from 5 to 8 turns. Reflect halves physical damage to allies for 5-8 turns. Light Screen halves the special damage to allies for 5-8 turns. Thunder Wave is used to paralyze foes and halve their speed to aid its teammates in out-speeding fast threats. Foul Play is a backup option to get rid of Scizor and other Attack boosting mons as the damage output increases the more they set up, the moves Foul Play and Reflect compliment each-other nicely. Maximum HP and Defense with a Bold Nature ensures Klefki can swap in and tank hits to setup its screens or go for a cheeky T-Wave against the opponent. Prankster is Klefki's better ability as it gives it priority to setup its Screens and gives it a priority to Thunder Wave non- Dark types.

Stealth Rock

Mega Diancie is a great mixed wallbreaker for Mono-Fairy and also serves as a rocks setter. Diancite of course so it can can Mega Evolve. Moonblast is its primary form of spammable STAB move. Diamond Storm is its best Rock STAB move which in Gen 7 has a 50% chance to double the Defense stat which can come up clutch in certain situations. Earth Power is a coverage move used to hit both Steel and Poison types alike which match up well vs Mega Diancie. Stealth Rock of course to get up a form of entry hazards. Maximum Speed EVs with a Naive allow Mega Diancie to be as fast as possible speed tying with the likes of Gengar Latios and Mega Gallade for example. Near Maximum SpA Evs allow Mega Diancie to spam Moonblast with high damage output, the 16 remaining EVs were invested in HP before to be able to survive an Iron Haad from skarmory in base form and 2HKO back with Hidden Power Fire, but the move is not being ran so the remaining EVs were then dumped into Attack. Clear Body is Diancie's only ability and it prevents stat drops prior to Mega Evolution. Once Mega-Evolving Magic Bounce bounces back status moves.

Dazzling Gleam

Tapu Koko in conjunction with its great Speed, and great Ability to boost all Electric Attacks by 1.5x on top of STAB and whatever item it chooses makes it a premier offensive threat. I chose to run Choice Specs as the item to maximize Damage output for moves such as Volt Switch to deal as much as possible while pivoting. Specs Hidden Power Ice also is a guaranteed OHKO on defensive Landorus and Gliscor and is a roll in our favour at 100%. Thunderbolt is its primary Spammable Electric STAB move dealing massive amounts of damage to the opposition. Volt Switch is used for pivoting but also does a great deal of damage while pivoting. Hidden power Ice is used for Ground type coverage, and Dazzling Gleam is great Fairy STAB and can OHKO Garchomp and further easen the Dragon Dark and Fighting MU's. Maximum SpA and Speed EVs lets Tapu Koko hit as hard and as fast as possible. Electric Surge is Tapu Koko's primary Ability boosting all electric type attacks by 1.5X and its other one is not viable in Singles play.

Superpower
Tapu Bulu is the Team's Scarfer and Revenge Killer and main physical hitter. Holding the Choice Scarf it is able to outspeed mons and hit them hard with STAB Terrain boosted attacks. Wood Hammer is Tapu Bulu's most powerful attack which reaches a Base Power of 270 with STAB and Grassy Terrain multiplied to it. However that attack makes Tapu Bulu take recoil, and is needed to break very fat walls such as Chansey and Toxapex which get 2HKO'd by Wood Hammer. Most of the time however, Horn Leech is the more consistent reliable Grass STAB move which recovers HP thus always keeping Tapu Bulu at a plentiful amount of HP. Stone Edge is a coverage moves used for hitting mons like Zapdos upon Switch in . Superpower lets Tapu Bulu hit Steel types for super effective damage such as Ferrothrorn. Maximum Atk and Speed EVs with a Jolly nature allow Tapu Bulu outspeed as much of the meta game as possible, and allowing it to hit hard while doing so. Once again Grassy Surge is Tapu Bulu's ability of choice boosting Grass type moves by 1.5X as its other ability has no singles use.

Knock Off

Azumarill is the team's mid-late game Belly Drum sweeper and once given the perfect opportunity to set up the conclusion of the game will shortly follow. Using the Normalium Z lets Azumarill use Belly Drum at any amount of HP, and also sometimes can regain back to full after using Belly Drum followed by Z-Belly Drum. Belly Drum is Azumarill's way of setting up and winning games as it gives Azumarill a whopping 1744 Attack Stat with the Ability Huge Power and an Adamant Nature. Aqua Jet is STAB Priotirity for either finishing off weakened foes or cleaning late game against faster mons. Play Rough is Fairy STAB that hits hard at +6 mainly used vs mons slower than Azu. Knock Off hits Ghost, Psychic , and bulky Steel types , +6 Knock Off OHKOs the standard Spdef Ferrothorn. allowing Azu to do well in the Steel Matchup. Maximum Atk and Speed investment with an Adamant Nature ensures that Azumarill can hit as hard as it possibly can and clean with Aqua Jet, as well as being able to outspeed the very slow and bulky mons. Huge Power is Azumarill's best Ability which doubles its Attack stat in this case as it is using a Belly Drum set which needs it.

excadrill gif.gif
heatran gif.gif
ferrothorn gif.gif

Hard hitting Steel types such as Mega Scizor, Excadrill and, Heatran are very tough to deal with and are huge threats. Mega Scizor needs only 1 Swords Dance to be a deadly threat with Bullet Punch, Scarf Excadrill does not have a good switch in as Klefki and Tapu Koko can go down to Earthquake and Diancie Bulu and Togekiss get hit hard by Iron Head. Heatran 1V1s Mega Diancie with an Air Balloon, as well as Bulu. Ferrothorn is extremely annoying as the only fire move on the team is on Togekiss it is able to Leech Seed on anything and Gyro/Whip everything.

venusaur-mega gif.gif
muk-alola gif.gif
nidoking gif.gif

Bulky Poison types such as Mega Venusaur and Alolan Muk are tough to break through as Sludge bomb + Giga Drain hits everything on Fairy for Super effective damage other than Klefki, and notably Belly Drum Azumarill is stopped by Mega Venu as it outspeeds it and OHKO's with Giga Drain. Curse Recycle Figy Berry Alolan Muk once given the chance to setup can 6-0 Fairy without being stopped as Poison Jab picks up OHKOs on everything when boosted and Knock off Gets rid of Klefki's Light Clay and is not able to Thunder Wave it. A powerful wallbreaker like Nidoking has no switch ins on fairy as the combination of Sludge Wave and Earth Power OHKO's everything.

Greninja GIF.gif
gengar gif.gif
mamoswine gif.gif
landorus I Gif.gif

Scarf Greninja can give Fairy issues with a combo of Gunk Shot and Hydro Pump to dent everything on the team. Scarf Gengar is also a huge threat with Sludge wave OHKOing half the team. Mamoswine is an underrated threat because its Ice-Ground Dual STAB picks up a kill on every mon on the team besides Azumarill. Landorus-I also packs Earth Power and Sludge Wave just like Nidoking, giving no reliable swap in.
