Its bulk also helps it against Choice Band Baxcalibur, as it can survive an Icicle Crash and 2HKO it back with Moonblast, and the combination of Calm Mind and Synthesis shuts down special attackers like Sylveon and Spectrier. Florges struggles against Pokemon with Steel- and Poison-type coverage moves like Hisuian Goodra, Iron Moth, Annihilape, and Sneasler. Florges also competes with Pokemon like Cresselia and Sylveon, which provide a similar role, but with its Fairy typing and speed tier, Florges helps patch up teams which are weak to Dragon-type Pokemon like Regidrago and Haxorus.
