Gen 3 Double Electric Special Offense - Top 18

Introduction:

Hello, I finally got to smogon with a post, the ADV metagame is not hard to learn although when something gets popular, it does, like Vapicuno's Bi Leech 3 atks or Fru's HydroMence.
This time I bring a special offensive with which I can reach 1600, this special offensive was created based on a Vapicuno guide, keep that in mind, reader.

The Team:

The team, like everyone up to gen 5 (where a view of the teams was implemented before starting each fight) has a lead, Z2;

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 76 SpA / 180 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Toxic
- Drill Peck
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

Starting with Z2, this Z2 as you can see instead of being the usual Baton Pass set, with Hidden Power Grass, Tbolt, Twave or Sub and Baton Pass, this set is a mixed Z2, its reason for the set being to hit one One of the most used mons of the gene and from my point of view, it can complicate the team.

252+ Atk Zapdos Drill Peck vs. 252 HP / 124+ Def Celebi: 180-212 (44.5 - 52.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
Possible damage amounts: (180, 182, 184, 186, 188, 190, 192, 195, 197, 199, 201, 203, 205, 207, 209, 212)

Removing a maximum of 52.4% life from one of the most common Celebi's, the Utility set and taking much more from Bi Leech 3 atks and leaving it with not much life.

252+ Atk Zapdos Drill Peck vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Celebi: 224-264 (65.6 - 77.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Possible damage amounts: (224, 227, 229, 232, 234, 237, 240, 242, 245, 248, 250, 253, 256, 258, 261, 264)

This Z2 helps us to face the Heracross lead, it can also easily face a Skarmory lead, it can hit Bliss well, thanks to Toxic it can help to face mons like Dol, if they don't carry Refresh.

I will leave the following calcs of this Z2, both of the mons mentioned and of others that I did not mention.

76 SpA Zapdos Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Skarmory: 239-282 (71.5 - 84.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Possible damage amounts: (239, 242, 245, 248, 250, 253, 256, 259, 262, 265, 267, 270, 273, 276, 279, 282)

252+ Atk Zapdos Hidden Power Fighting vs. 44 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 238-280 (35.9 - 42.2%) -- 92.3% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
Possible damage amounts: (238, 240, 243, 246, 249, 252, 254, 257, 260, 263, 266, 268, 271, 274, 277, 280)

252+ Atk Zapdos Hidden Power Fighting vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Tyranitar: 244-288 (60.5 - 71.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Possible damage amounts: (244, 247, 250, 253, 256, 259, 262, 264, 267, 270, 273, 276, 279, 282, 285, 288)

252+ Atk Zapdos Drill Peck vs. 0 HP / 192 Def Hariyama: 261-308 (60.8 - 71.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Possible damage amounts: (261, 264, 267, 271, 274, 277, 280, 283, 286, 289, 292, 295, 298, 301, 304, 308)

76 SpA Zapdos Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Starmie: 302-356 (93.2 - 109.8%) -- 56.3% chance to OHKO
Possible damage amounts: (302, 306, 309, 313, 316, 320, 323, 327, 331, 334, 338, 341, 345, 348, 352, 356)

252+ Atk Zapdos Drill Peck vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Misdreavus: 168-198 (51.8 - 61.1%) -- 96.1% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Possible damage amounts: (168, 170, 172, 174, 176, 178, 180, 182, 184, 186, 188, 190, 192, 194, 196, 198)

Our second most important mon is Jolteon, which is our second most electric and our fastest unboosted mon.

Jolteon @ Leftovers
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 76 HP / 180 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 2 Atk / 30 SpA
- Thunderbolt
- Thunder Wave
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Baton Pass

It is our Twave usser and our second mon to use against Swampert if he is in range of Hidden Power Grass.

180 SpA Jolteon Hidden Power Grass vs. 248 HP / 44 SpD Swampert: 268-316 (66.5 - 78.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Possible damage amounts: (268, 271, 274, 278, 281, 284, 287, 290, 293, 297, 300, 303, 306, 309, 312, 316)

Despite not ko anything, it serves us as a revenge killer to finish off touched mons, be it a Mie or Dugtrio, taking into account the other members of the team there is no need to leave it against a Dactyl, apart from the fact that it is not 100% sure to be faster, both having 50% and 50% faster, aside from helping us gain momentum thanks to Baton Pass.

180 SpA Jolteon Thunderbolt vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Zapdos: 142-168 (44 - 52.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
Possible damage amounts: (142, 144, 146, 147, 149, 151, 152, 154, 156, 157, 159, 161, 162, 164, 166, 168)

Like every Offense, or well, like every Offense that uses Spikes, it goes with Skarmory

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 HP / 116 SpD / 140 Spe
Careful Nature
- Spikes
- Roar
- Drill Peck
- Taunt

Drill Peck supports us against Heracross and Yama, apart from that he also supports against Bi, being our second usser of that movement

0 Atk Skarmory Drill Peck vs. 0 HP / 192 Def Hariyama: 168-198 (39.1 - 46.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
Possible damage amounts: (168, 170, 172, 174, 176, 178, 180, 182, 184, 186, 188, 190, 192, 194, 196, 198)

0 Atk Skarmory Drill Peck vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Heracross: 367-432 (121.5 - 143%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Possible damage amounts: (367, 371, 375, 380, 384, 388, 393, 397, 401, 406, 410, 414, 419, 423, 427, 432)

0 Atk Skarmory Drill Peck vs. 252 HP / 124+ Def Celebi: 117-138 (28.9 - 34.1%) -- 99.4% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
Possible damage amounts: (117, 118, 120, 121, 122, 124, 125, 126, 128, 129, 131, 132, 133, 135, 136, 138)

Taunt supports us at times when the opponent tries to heal for example, using Soft in Bliss, and we have the option to hit him with Drill, Taunt also helps against Skarm, Suicune's with 210 speed, Celebi, Skarmory's rivals, among others.

Roar and Spikes I don't think it's necessary to explain it, one spike, you put pressure, two spikes, if you put the second, you put the third.

Metagross @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 168 Atk / 88 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Agility
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Explosion

Metagross, our first sweeper, what can we say about this great mon? being with the spikes much more dangerous, and if you eliminate opposing Swampert, Forry or Skarmory... You can make a Sweep Easy and thanks to Agility you surpass Aero.

168+ Atk Metagross Meteor Mash vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Tyranitar: 323-380 (80.1 - 94.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Possible damage amounts: (323, 326, 330, 334, 338, 342, 345, 349, 353, 357, 361, 364, 368, 372, 376, 380)

168+ Atk Metagross Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Starmie: 133-157 (41 - 48.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
Possible damage amounts: (133, 135, 136, 138, 139, 141, 142, 144, 146, 147, 149, 150, 152, 153, 155, 157)

Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Rapid Spin

Our Rapid Spinner, first answer to Mence, apart from Jolteon is an answer to Swampert although without the hit, second to Tyranitar, third if we count Z2, which clearly needs the spikes to drop it from a hit like Metagross and Mie.

252 SpA Starmie Hydro Pump vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Tyranitar: 328-386 (81.3 - 95.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Possible damage amounts: (328, 331, 335, 339, 343, 347, 351, 355, 358, 362, 366, 370, 374, 378, 382, 386)

252 SpA Starmie Hydro Pump vs. 248 HP / 44 SpD Swampert: 170-201 (42.1 - 49.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
Possible damage amounts: (170, 172, 174, 176, 178, 180, 182, 184, 186, 188, 190, 192, 194, 196, 198, 201)

252 SpA Starmie Ice Beam vs. 116 HP / 0 SpD Salamence: 418-492 (116.1 - 136.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
Possible damage amounts: (418, 423, 428, 432, 437, 442, 447, 452, 457, 462, 467, 472, 477, 482, 487, 492)

And our Last Mon

Tyranitar @ Salac Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 16 HP / 188 Atk / 120 Def / 184 Spe
Naughty Nature
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Dragon Dance

Tyranitar, the SS, the most used mon of the format:

Thanks to its climate we avoid the healing of leftovers, except for steel, rock and ground type mons, Rock Slide for stab and to hit flying type mons, Eq for rock, steel and fire types, Ice Beam for Flygon and DD for boostus.

Its object, the Salac Berry, allows us to boost our speed when we are at certain life points, surviving an Eq from Dugtrio and Aero, being faster in the second boost, having to use DD in the first to then have the boost additional.

252 Atk Choice Band Dugtrio Earthquake vs. 16 HP / 120 Def Tyranitar: 295-348 (85.5 - 100.8%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO
Possible damage amounts: (295, 299, 302, 306, 309, 313, 316, 320, 323, 327, 330, 334, 337, 341, 344, 348)

252 Atk Choice Band Aerodactyl Earthquake vs. 16 HP / 120 Def Tyranitar: 234-276 (67.8 - 80%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Possible damage amounts: (234, 237, 240, 242, 245, 248, 251, 253, 256, 259, 262, 264, 267, 270, 273, 276)

Hi welcome to Smogon! I am locking your RMT for the time being as the forum rules require that you provide at least three lines of descriptions for each Pokemon to explain their roles. Please read the rules carefully and look at Team Showcase to see the detail we require. PM me with updated descriptions, and I will be happy to unlock this. Also, feel free to PM me if you need help or have any question. Have a nice day!

To PM someone on Smogon, go over their name on any of their post. It will display a little pop-up with a summary of their profile. Then, hit the "Start conversation" button and you will be able to write a PM just like you write a regular thread.

Why did you choose this Pokemon?
What do the EV spreads do and why do you have it?
What are all 4 moves for?
