Tournament BLT VII: Week 3

Welcome to the third week of BLT VII! For this year's format, teams will be fighting in a round robin where every team will play every other team. At the end of the round robin, the top four teams will move on to the playoffs where the first seed will play the fourth seed and the second seed will play the third seed to determine who will be this year’s finalists. A win will be worth 2 points, a draw 1, and a loss 0. Obviously, play on PS! (preferably main or smogtours server). Series are played in a best-of-one.

Basic Tournament Rules - you absolutely should read this, especially if you're new to forum tournaments

Rules

Sportsmanship: Don't be an ass. Not to your opponents, not to your team, not on PS, not on Smogon, not to me. A bit of friendly banter is ok, but please know where to draw the line. Think before you type, please.

Scheduling and Activity Wins: Contact your opponent as quickly as possible on their Smogon wall, and look out for them on PS. You will have one week from the posting of the week's matches to get it done, and I will not be granting any extensions for any reasons. If your opponent is not responding to your post on their wall, cannot be found on PS, or miss multiple scheduled times, make a detailed activity post in the thread letting me know why you deserve the win. No activity post means no activity call. As long as you have visible attempts at scheduling (such as wall posts), you will be fine.

Disconnections and Timer: A timer loss is a loss. No if's, and's, or but's about it. If your opponent is nice enough to replay that's fine, but they are by no means obligated to.

Ghosting and Identity: Don't take or give battle advice or make moves based solely on the suggestions of others, and don't pretend to be someone else in order to play as them. You will be caught, and you will be disqualified from this season as well as future PS! tournaments (BLT, PSPL, etc.).

Substitutions: Managers are free to substitute out inactive players at any point during the week with any subs they chose during the draft. Be sure to post in the thread when making a substitution.

Mono predicts ( too lazy to predict others)-
The Thunderbirds vs Maki's fox - Gotta believe in yourself
Havens vs Richard Pepper - Havens is def the better mono player of the two and can see havens win here
Floss vs Dugza - Floss vs budget floss, jokes aside should be a highlight
Maroon vs gorex - Maroon is def the more experienced player here and I have seen gorex play like 1 mono game.

Edit- Stop with the goodras, you are just motivating Decem for Good Game Goodras.

SS OU: frisoeva vs Twixtry - Twixtry seems good but friso is friso
SS OU: Updated Kanto vs Hamhamhamhamham - I can't possibly pick, this is too much of a heat match up, its radiating so much heat that I'm already dehydrated
SS UU: TMM vs TectonicDestroyer - TMM is good, tect hasn't really proven himself
SS RU: Bloodstained Vuyj vs Mac3 - Better player I think
SS NU: Bad Player vs Xiri - This is an hl match for me, Xiri is good but I can't say that for his latest performances. Like I said last week, Bad Player is ironically really good
SS LC: imjustgray vs Akashi - A battle between 2 winless players, but I think Jeran is the better winless player, sorry gray
SS DOU: TTT444 vs raf - TTT is goat
SS MONO: The Thunderbirds vs Maki's Fox - I hear Thunderbirds has a fair amount of monotype experience, but I think Maki is supposed to be good, I hope I actually get to see Maki play this week so I can confirm that

SS OU: Attribute vs halaman95 - BLT 2019 rematch! I think Attribute is the better player, as he was a great attribute of the 2019 zams

SS RU: Feliburn vs PokemonCestDur - I think its illegal to not bold Feliburn in ru, but expecting this to be a good one
SS NU: PrinceOfAllTacos vs Trade - Expecting this to be another good one and wouldn't be surprised no matter who wins, giving a slight edge to poat because he beat gw goat last week
SS LC: EternalSnowman vs Mikaav - HOLY HEAT this is gonna be one hell of a match, I can see this going either way because both are great players but giving an edge to mikaav
SS DOU: I want Atago to sit on me vs Velvet Blood - Cheese is cheese, and velv plays doubles...?
SS MONO: Havens vs RichardPepper - I expect this to be another good game, Heavens is more experienced though

SS LC: Acselsior13 vs Jack In My Box - Better player I think, though acsel is underrated
SS DOU: Shadowmonstr4 vs Z Strats - shadow beat SMB, be it hax or not, though I expect this to be good since I hear quite a bit about Z strats
SS MONO: Floss vs DugZa - Call this a guess or a gut feeling, I don't know

I honestly have no idea how Rufflets vs Hatterenes will go, too many unknowns. Moral of the story, don't use future sight to predict matches, especially when its not very effective on hatterene.

I only did predictions for my own team last week so I could bold NRTS goat, so I don't think I need to do it again this week.
