Monotype Alolan Marowak (Fire)

172132

[OVERVIEW]

Fire

========

Due to a great offensive typing in conjunction with a massive Attack stat thanks to Thick Club, Alolan Marowak makes for a strong wallbreaker on Fire teams. Its ability in Lightning Rod allows Alolan Marowak to block Electric-type moves, most notably Volt Switch, allowing it to be a great switch-in for Tapu Koko, Zapdos, and Magnezone, which can give Alolan Marowak opportunities to dish out attacks. Alolan Marowak is a far more threatening Stealth Rock setter than the passive and more common Torkoal due to its ability to pressure common Defoggers such as Zapdos, Mantine, Skarmory, and Crobat thanks to its sky-high Attack stat. Due to its Ghost typing Alolan Marowak serves as a great spinblocker, allowing it to keep up Stealth Rock versus Bug teams. However, its slow base 45 Speed and average bulk cause Alolan Marowak to get revenge killed easily. It is often outclassed by other physical wallbreakers such as Infernape and Victini, as they possess better Speed tiers. Alolan Marowak is also vulnerable to all entry hazards and weak to Stealth Rock, which can wear it down quickly. It also does not appreciate Knock Off due to it relying on Thick Club to double its Attack stat, as without it, Alolan Marowak's wallbreaking potential is subpar.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Stealth Rock provides the team with entry hazards, wearing down the opposing team throughout the match so Alolan Marowak's teammates can sweep easier. Shadow Bone hits a lot of the metagame hard, as a lot of teams lack Ghost-resistant Pokemon. Notably, it can be used to hit Slowbro for super effective damage. Flare Blitz is a powerful Fire-type STAB move that hits Pokemon such as Venusaur, Chansey, and Celesteela hard; however, using it alongside Lightning Rod may wear down Alolan Marowak. Fire Punch is a safer Fire-type STAB option for Grass and Steel teams, since Marowak's durability is valued more throughout the course of the match. Earthquake allows Alolan Marowak to hit Electric-, Poison-, and Rock-type Pokemon such as Alolan Golem, Alolan Muk, Toxapex, and Tyranitar for super effective damage.

Set Details
========

228 Speed EVs alongside a Jolly nature allow Alolan Marowak to outspeed all 200 Speed Pokemon such as Mega Venusaur, Mantine, and slower variants of Mandibuzz. Maximum Attack investment allows Alolan Marowak to hit as hard as possible in conjunction with Thick Club. The remaining EVs are put into HP to maximize its bulk and to give Alolan Marowak an odd HP value so it can switch in on Stealth Rock more times. Lightning Rod grants Alolan Marowak an Electric immunity, allowing it to counter Pokemon such as Tapu Koko, Zapdos, and Magnezone, as well as block Volt Switch.

Usage Tips
========

Alolan Marowak is a utility wallbreaker, so try and get it into battle as early as possible and switch it into resisted attacks or predicted Electric-type moves so that it essentially gets a free turn to set up Stealth Rock or dish out a powerful attack. It is very critical to keep Alolan Marowak healthy in Electric matchups, as it stops Pokemon such as Tapu Koko and Zapdos from going for their Electric-type STAB moves, which includes Volt Switch. Alolan Marowak should be used to wallbreak in the early-game to punch holes in the opposing team. It should prioritize getting up Stealth Rock versus Dragon, Dark, and other Fire teams, as Alolan Marowak does not have the best offensive matchups and can enforce entry hazard pressure on these teams. Alolan Marowak is also a great Stealth Rock user, as it can spinblock and thus keep up Stealth Rock versus Bug teams. It can also threaten potential Defoggers such as Zapdos, Skarmory, and Mantine. Choice Scarf Latios will also have to make a decision between going for a sacrificial Defog in order to get rid of Stealth Rock or attacking Alolan Marowak. It is critical for Alolan Marowak to avoid Knock Off users, as it will lose its Thick Club, which will then cut Alolan Marowak's Attack stat in half. Use Flare Blitz only to break through walls that resist or do not take enough damage from Shadow Bone, such as Mandibuzz, Mega Venusaur, and Chansey, as this will wear down Alolan Marowak unnecessarily.

Team Options
========

Mega Charizard Y is a complementary teammate for Alolan Marowak, as it provides sun support with its ability Drought and can threaten Water- and Ground-types with Solar Beam. Mega Charizard Y appreciates Alolan Marowak as a teammate due to its ability in Lightning Rod, as it can switch into threatening Electric-type attacks for Mega Charizard Y. Mega Charizard X is also great teammate for Alolan Marowak, as it has a much easier time sweeping Dragon teams once Stealth Rock is up. Mega Charizard X also appreciates Alolan Marowak's ability to punch holes through the opposing team, weakening them for Mega Charizard X to sweep. Volcarona also can get rid of Dark-types that threaten Alolan Marowak with Bug Buzz, and it appreciates Alolan Marowak setting up Stealth Rock for it, allowing it to sweep more easily. Infernape is another great teammate that can threaten Dark- and Rock-types and faster Pokemon that would otherwise be able to get rid of Alolan Marowak like Excadrill, Heatran, and Tyranitar. Heatran is also a great teammate, as it is able to trap and eliminate physical walls with Magma Storm, and without the need to run Stealth Rock on Heatran, it is free to run Flash Cannon in order to get rid of Mega Diancie. Victini can also benefit from Alolan Marowak's wallbreaking capabilities, as it can get rid of Psychic-types, which can then free up a late-game Z-Celebrate sweep. Rotom-H provides a Ground-type immunity, can pivot with Volt Switch, and can provide Defog support to aid Alolan Marowak from taking damage from entry hazards. Rotom-H also provides dual screens support and, in conjunction with Alolan Marowak's Stealth Rock, allows teammates to sweep more easily. Volcanion is a great partner for Alolan Marowak, as it provides a Water immunity and is a special wallbreaker that complements Alolan Marowak as a physical wallbreaker. Alolan Marowak also complements Volcanion, as it provides an Electric immunity with Lightning Rod.

Fire
--------
Swords Dance can be used to give Alolan Marowak monstrous wallbreaking potential; however, with its low Speed stat and subpar bulk, Alolan Marowak will rarely ever pull off a Swords Dance sweep.

Checks and Counters
===================

Fire
--------

**Super Effective Attacks**: Water-types such as Keldeo, Mega Swampert, and Rotom-W, Rock-types such as Tyranitar, Mega Diancie, Terrakion, and Nihilego, Ground-type Pokemon like Excadrill, Landorus, and Garchomp, as well as Dark-type Pokemon such as Hydreigon, Bisharp, and Mega Sharpedo can all outspeed and KO Alolan Marowak with their STAB attacks.

**Revenge Killers and Wallbreakers**: Faster offensive threats such as Kyurem-B, Dragonite, and Kommo-o will easily outspeed and OHKO Alolan Marowak, as it has poor bulk.

**Entry Hazards and Residual Damage**: Being a grounded Fire-type, entry hazard damage from Stealth Rock and Spikes can wear down Alolan Marowak quickly and significantly; Toxic poison and Flare Blitz recoil can do so as well.

**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Alolan Marowak cannot OHKO certain physical walls such as Mandibuzz, Hippowdon, and Porygon2, and these examples all carry moves that can KO Alolan Marowak, such as Foul Play and Earthquake.

note: just saying you dont put a space inbetween the word and comma, you do that alot in here. try to clean those up with this qc. also periods go after each sentence and dont randomly space things out, its unnecessary (fixed it in my check do it when you implement this qc).
[OVERVIEW]
Fire
========

* A great offensive typing in conjunction with a massive Attack stat thanks to Thick Club, Alolan Marowak can find itself as a strong wall-breaker on Fire-type teams.
- its primary function is a sr setter not attacker, so might wanna make that a part of the first bullet

*Alolan Marowak is 1 of 2 viable Stealth Rock setters for Fire teams and it can get prime opportunities to set up Stealth Rock due to its fearsome wall-breaking potential
- heatran and infernape should never use sr on fire, firstly. secondly, this should be in bullet 1 as previously stated

*Lightning Rod provides a key electric immunity and a great switch in for Tapu Koko, Zapdos, Mega Manectric, Xurkitree, and Magnezone which can give Alolan Marowak opportunities to dish out attacks
- mega manectric and xurkitree are irrelevant as fuck

* It gets access to a very spammable Ghost-type STAB move in Shadow Bone which hits neutral switch-ins hard.
- if you want to include something like this in the bullet about it being a strong wallbreaker talk about it having spammable stab

*Alolan Marowak is a far more threatening Stealth Rock setter than Torkoal who is passive and is a more common Stealth Rock
- talk about it being able to threaten common defoggers, which is what makes it a cool sr setter, aside being immune to elec attacks

*However its slow 45 base speed and average bulk causes Alolan Marowak to get easily revenge killed
*Alolan Marowak is also weak to all hazards as it is grounded and Fire-type therefore it will get worn down quickly with hazards up
*Alolan Marowak also does not appreciate Knock Off due to it relying on Thick Club to double its Attack stat , as without it, it's wall-breaking potential is subpar

slashed fire punch over flare blitz bz it likes staying healthy to act as an electric immunity for as long as possible

Moves

*Stealth Rock provides the team with entry hazards wearing down the opposing team throughout the match so Alolan Marowak's teammates can sweep easier
*Shadow Bone is Ghost-type STAB that hits a lot of the metagame hard as a lot of teams lack Ghost resists. Notably It can be used to hit Slowbro for super effective damage.
*Flare Blitz is powerful Fire STAB that hits Pokemon such as Venusaur , Chansey , Porygon2, and Celesteela , and Skarmory, however using it alongside Lightning Rod may wear down Alolan Marowak, therefore Fire Punch is a safer option if Marowak's durability is valued more throughout the course of the match.
- skarmory is fairly irrelevant when celesteela is a thing and chansey is beaten easier than p2 who can foul play so i took it out. also switch places of fire punch and flare blitz here

*Earthquake allows Alolan Marowak to hit Alolan Golem , Alolan Muk , Toxapex , and Tyranitar for super effective damage, as well as threaten Electric teams mightily
- reword this say like Earthquake allows it to threaten x- and x-type, then give the examples

Set Details
========

*228 Speed EVs allow Alolan Marowak to outspeed all 200 speed Pokemon such as Mega Venusaur, Mantine, slower variants of Mandibuzz , and Heatran also will get outsped.
*Maximum Attack investment allows Alolan Marowak to hit as hard as possible in conjunction with Thick Club.

*Lightning Rod grants Alolan Marowak an electric immunity allowing it to counter Pokemon such as Tapu Koko, Zapdos , Xurkitree , Mega Manectric , and Magnezone, as well as block Volt Switch from Pokemon.
- only use relevant metagame examples, xurk and mega mane are not meta

Usage Tips
========

*Alolan Marowak is a utility wall-breaker so try and get it into battle as early as possible and switch it into very passive resisted attacks so that it essentially gets a free turn to setup Stealth Rock or dish out a Flare Blitz or Shadow Bone.
*Pivot Alolan Marowak into predicted Electric-type attacks as this gives Alolan Marowak a free opportunity to get up Stealth Rock or deal massive damage, it is also critical to keep Alolan Marowak healthy in the Electric matchup
- seperate the second part of the sentence into its own developed idea.

*Alolan Marowak can also get up its Stealth Rock if it is brought out on an opponents win condition as they will be inclined to switch, giving Alolan Marowak a free turn
- this is a meh tip, like if it can ohko alolan marowak it will.

*Alolan Marowak should be used to wall-break in the early game to punch holes in the opposing team
- give example mus when it should be used to wallbreak early-game

*Alolan Marowak is also a great spin blocker thanks to it being a Ghost-type
- talk about it deterring hazard removal, since it threatens a ton of common defoggers and is immune to spin

*It is critical for Alolan Marowak to avoid Knock Off users as this is a super effective attack that deals massive damage, and it causes it to lose it's Thick Club which will then cut Alolan Marowak's Attack stat in half.
*Use Flare Blitz only to break though walls that resist or do not take enough damage from Shadow Bone as this will wear down Alolan Marowak unnecessarily, such as Mandibuzz, Mega Venusaur, and Chansey

Team Options
========

*Mega Charizard X is a great teammate for Alolan Marowak as Marowak can setup Stealth Rock which aids Mega Charizard X in sweeping. Mega Charizard X can also win easier vs the Dragon matchup once Stealth Rock is up. Mega Charizard X also appreciates Alolan Marowak's wall-breaking ability to punch holes through the opposing team weakening them for Charizard to sweep.
*Mega Charizard Y is also a complimentary teammate for Alolan Marowak is it provides Sun support with its ability Drought, which boosts Alolan Marowak's Flare Blitz, and also halves the power of Water-type moves.
- talk about solar beam beating pokemon that threaten alolan marowak

*Volcarona also can get rid of Dark-types such as x that threaten Alolan Marowak with Bug Buzz , and Volcarona also appreciates Alolan Marowak setting up Stealth Rock for it allowing to to sweep easier.
*Infernape is another great teammate that can threaten both Dark-types and Rock-types which would otherwise be able to get rid of Alolan Marowak.
*Heatran is also a great teammate as it is able to trap and eliminate Pokemon like Toxapex which Alolan Marowak may have trouble breaking through. Heatran can also get rid of physical walls allowing Alolan Marowak to be freed up.
- flash cannon heatran is a must on fire and can be used to check mega diancie, which alolan marowak 100% appreciates
*Victini can also benefit from Alolan Marowak's wall breaking capability as it can get rid of Psychic-types which can then free up a late game Z-Celebrate sweep
- moved this up to here

*Rotom Heat can provide Defog support to aid Alolan Marowak from taking hazard damage such as Stealth Rock and Spikes.
- also provides screens support, which in tandem w/ sr makes setup sweepers jobs easier

*Volcanion is a great partner for Alolan Marowak as it is a Water immunity that supports Alolan Marowak as it is threatened by Water-type moves. Volcanion is also a special wall-breaker to compliment Alolan Marowak as a physical wall-breaker

Fire
--------
*Knock Off can be used as a utility option to get rid of items such as the Eviolite from Chansey and Porygon2
*Bonemerang can be used over Earthquake to OHKO Focus Sash Alolan Golem, however Earthquake has perfect accuracy
- these arent really good oo even, remove them

*Swords Dance can be used on Alolan Marowak to give it monstrous wall-breaking potential, however with its slow speed stat and subpar bulk, Alolan Marowak will rarely ever pull off a Swords Dance sweep.
*Rock Head can be used over Lightning Rod to allow Alolan Marowak to click Flare Blitz without any repercussion, however Alolan Marowak would miss the ability to switch-into Electric-type attacks from notable Pokemon like Tapu Koko, and Zapdos.

Checks and Counters

Fire
--------

**Water-types**: Offensive Water-type Pokemon such as Keldeo , Mega Swampert , and Rotom-W can outspeed and OHKO Alolan Marowak with their STAB attacks.

**Rock-types**: Tyranitar , Mega Diancie, Terrakion, and Nihilego can outspeed and KO it with STAB attacks. Tyranitar can take both of Alolan Marowak's STAB moves, however most Rock-types should be cautious of switching into Earthquake

**Ground-types**: Ground-type Pokemon like Excadrill, Landorus, and Garchomp can outspeed and OHKO Alolan Marowak with STAB Ground-type moves

**Dark-types**: The majority of Dark-type Pokemon can outspeed Alolan Marowak and OHKO it such as Hydreigon, Bisharp, and Mega Sharpedo with their Dark-type STAB moves
note: merge water-, rock-, ground-, and dark-type bullets into **Super Effective Attacks**:

**Revenge Killers and Wallbreakers**:
Faster offensive threats such as Kyurem-Black will easily outspeed and OHKO Alolan Marowak as it has poor bulk.
- redo this section and work on both, actually kyu-b is a fine example for both so if you want to leave it that way is fine ig

**Entry Hazards and Residual Damage**: Being a grounded Fire-type, Alolan Marowak is very weak to Stealth Rock and Spikes. It takes 25% each time it comes in on Stealth Rock. Also Toxic can wear down Alolan Marowak significantly.

Physically Defensive Pokemon: Certain physical walls such as Mandibuzz, Hippowdon, and Porygon2 are all very bulky walls that Alolan Marowak cannot OHKO and all carry moves such as Foul Play and Earthquake which can KO Alolan Marowak

*228 Speed EVs along with a Jolly nature allow Alolan Marowak to outspeed all 200 speed Pokemon such as Mega Venusaur, Mantine, slower variants of Mandibuzz , and Heatran also will get outsped, i dont like min speed tran as an example
*Maximum Attack investment allows Alolan Marowak to hit as hard as possible in conjunction with Thick Club.

*Alolan Marowak is a utility wall-breaker so try and get it into battle as early as possible and switch it into very passive resisted attacks so that it essentially gets a free turn to setup Stealth Rock or dish out a Flare Blitz or Shadow Bone. powerful attack.

*Alolan Marowak should be used to wall-break in the early game to punch holes in the opposing team. The matchups to do so are the Steel, Grass and Psychic Matchups as it is important for Alolan Marowak to weaken or eliminate.
*Alolan Marowak should prioritize getting up Stealth Rock vs Dragon and, Dark teams, as well as the Fire mirror, as Alolan Marowak does not have the best offensive matchup and can enforce entry hazard pressure on the these teams.
*Alolan Marowak is also a great Stealth Rocker user as it a spin blocker thanks to it being immune to Rapid Spin as it is a Ghost-type, therefore it is able to keep up Stealth Rock vs Bug teams. Alolan Marowak can also threaten potential Defoggers such as Zapdos, Mega Latias, and Mantine. again, defog mega latias isn't that common so id use a different example Choice Scarf Latios would have to also make a decision between going for a suicide Defog in order to get rid of the Stealth Rock or attacking Alolan Marowak.
*It is critical for Alolan Marowak to avoid Knock Off users as this is a super effective attack that deals massive damage, and it causes it to lose it's Thick Club which will then cut Alolan Marowak's Attack stat in half.

Solarbeam can threaten Pokemon such as Swampert, Seismotoad, Gastrodon, and Azumarill, which Alolan Marowak struggles to deal with. nitpick but put mega zard y first over mega charizard x since it really likes alolan marowak's ability to absorb electric. please highlight that
*Volcarona also can get rid of Dark-types that threaten Alolan Marowak with Bug Buzz , and Volcarona also appreciates Alolan Marowak setting up Stealth Rock for it allowing to to sweep easier. talk about alolan marowak's presence as a wallbreaker and how it helps break through things that volcarona struggles w
*Infernape is another great teammate that can threaten both Dark-types and Rock-types which would otherwise be able to get rid of Alolan Marowak. talk about checking faster pokemon when it comes to infernape especially when alolan marowaks just so slow. also give examples
*Heatran is also a great teammate as it is able to trap and eliminate Pokemon like Toxapex which Alolan Marowak may have trouble breaking through. alolan marowak breaks toxapex easily Flash Cannon also allows Heatran to get rid of Mega Diancie, which is a huge threat to Alolan Marowak vs Fairy Teams. Heatran can also get rid of physical walls allowing Alolan Marowak to be freed up. this can be condensed into the first sentence

*Volcanion is a great partner for Alolan Marowak as it is a Water immunity that supports Alolan Marowak as it is threatened by Water-type moves. Volcanion is also a special wall-breaker to compliment Alolan Marowak as a physical wall-breaker. im a bit ehh on volcanion as an example because its not great of a mon, but if you're going to use it please talk about alolan marowak's electric immunity and how it supports volcanion

Also Toxic can wear down Alolan Marowak significantly. rewrite this bullet to make it flow. you don't have to say specifically it takes 25% each time it comes in on sr, you can just say that hazards such as sr wear it down significantly

**
Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Certain physical walls such as Mandibuzz, Hippowdon, and Porygon2 are all very bulky walls that Alolan Marowak cannot OHKO and all carry moves such as Foul Play and Earthquake which can KO Alolan Marowak

A great offensive typing in conjunction with a massive Attack stat thanks to Thick Club, Alolan Marowak can find itself as a strong wall-breaker on Fire-type teams. It's Ability Lightning Rod provides a key electric immunity to block Electric-type moves, most notably Volt Switch, and a great switch in for Tapu Koko , Zapdos, and Magnezone which can give Alolan Marowak opportunities to dish out attacks. Alolan Marowak is a far more threatening Stealth Rock setter than Torkoal who is passive and is a more common Stealth Rock user, due to its ability to pressure common Defoggers such as Zapdos , Mantine, Skarmory, and Crobat thanks to its sky-high Attack stat. Due to its Ghost-typing Alolan Marowak serves as a great spinblocker allowing it to keep up Stealth Rock vs Bug teams. However its slow 45 base speed and average bulk causes Alolan Marowak to get easily revenge killed. It often gets outclassed by other physical wallbreakers such as Infernape and Victini as they possess a better speed tier. Alolan Marowak is also weak to all hazards as it is grounded and Fire-type therefore it will get worn down quickly with hazards up. Alolan Marowak also does not appreciate Knock Off due to it relying on Thick Club to double its Attack stat , as without it, it's wall-breaking potential is subpar. Just a general comment, but you don't need to start every sentence with "Alolan Marowak..." - if you want to keep the sentence structure then I would suggest alternating in the word "it" to aid readability.

Stealth Rock provides the team with entry hazards wearing down the opposing team throughout the match so Alolan Marowak's teammates can sweep easier. Shadow Bone is Ghost-type STAB that hits a lot of the metagame hard as a lot of teams lack Ghost resists. Notably It can be used to hit Slowbro for super effective damage. Flare Blitz is a much more powerful Fire STAB that hits Pokemon harder such as Venusaur, Chansey, and Celesteela however using it alongside Lightning Rod may wear down Alolan Marowak. Fire Punch is a safe Fire-type STAB option for Grass and Steel teams since Marowak's durability is valued more throughout the course of the match. Earthquake allows Alolan Marowak to threaten Electric, Poison, and Rock Pokemon such as Alolan Golem, Alolan Muk, Toxapex, and Tyranitar for super effective damage.

228 Speed EVs alongside a Jolly nature allow Alolan Marowak to outspeed all 200 speed Pokemon such as Mega Venusaur, Mantine, slower and slower variants of Mandibuzz. Maximum Attack investment allows Alolan Marowak to hit as hard as possible in conjunction with Thick Club. The remaining EVs are put into HP so that it can maximize its bulk, and to give Alolan Marowak an odd HP value so it can switch in on Stealth Rock more times. Lightning Rod grants Alolan Marowak an electric immunity allowing it to counter Pokemon such as Tapu Koko, Zapdos, and Magnezone, as well as block Volt Switch from Pokemon.

Usage Tips
========

Alolan Marowak is a utility wall-breaker so try and get it into battle as early as possible and switch it into resisted attacks so that it essentially gets a free turn to setup Stealth Rock or dish out a powerful attack. Pivot Alolan Marowak into predicted Electric-type attacks as this gives Alolan Marowak a free opportunity to get up Stealth Rock or deal massive damage. It is very critical to keep Alolan Marowak healthy in the Electric matchup, as it stops Pokemon such as Tapu Koko, and Zapdos from going for their Electric-type STAB moves, which includes Volt Switch. Alolan Marowak should be used to wall-break in the early game to punch holes in the opposing team. The matchups to do so are the Steel, Grass and Psychic Matchups as it is important for Alolan Marowak to weaken or eliminate This is an incomplete thought, also do we really care about using Marowak in vs Steel or Grass as fire?. Alolan Marowak should prioritize getting up Stealth Rock vs Dragon and, Dark teams, as well as the Fire mirror, as Alolan Marowak does not have the best offensive matchup and can enforce entry hazard pressure on the these teams. Alolan Marowak is also a great Stealth Rocker user as it a spin blocker thanks to it being immune to Rapid Spin as it is a Ghost-type, therefore it is able to keep up Stealth Rock vs Bug teams. Alolan Marowak can also threaten potential Defoggers such as Zapdos, Skarmory, and Mantine. Choice Scarf Latios would have to also make a decision between going for a suicide Defog in order to get rid of the Stealth Rock or attacking Alolan Marowak. It is critical for Alolan Marowak to avoid Knock Off users as this is a super effective attack that deals massive damage, and it causes it to lose it's Thick Club which will then cut Alolan Marowak's Attack stat in half. Use Flare Blitz only to break though walls that resist or do not take enough damage from Shadow Bone as this will wear down Alolan Marowak unnecessarily, such as Mandibuzz, Mega Venusaur and Chansey

Team Options
========

Mega Charizard Y is also a complimentary teammate for Alolan Marowak is it provides Sun support with its ability Drought, which boosts Alolan Marowak's Flare Blitz, and also halves the power of Water-type moves. and can threaten Water- and Ground-types with Solarbeam can threaten Pokemon such as Swampert, Seismotoad, Gastrodon, and Azumarill, which Alolan Marowak struggles to deal with. Mega Charizard Y appreciates Alolan Marowak as a teammate due to its ability in Lightning Rod as it can switch into threatening Electric-type attacks for Mega Charizard Y. Mega Charizard X is a great teammate for Alolan Marowak as Marowak can setup Stealth Rock which aids Mega Charizard X in sweeping. Mega Charizard X can also win easier vsit has a much easier time sweeping and with the Dragon matchup once Stealth Rock is up. Mega Charizard X also appreciates Alolan Marowak's wall-breaking ability to punch holes through the opposing team weakening them for Charizard to sweep. Volcarona also can get rid of Dark-types that threaten Alolan Marowak with Bug Buzz , and Volcarona also appreciates Alolan Marowak setting up Stealth Rock for it allowing to to sweep easier. Alolan Marowak can also get rid of Chansey, and Toxapex which Volcarona appreciates. Infernape is another great teammate that can threaten both Dark-types and Rock-types and faster Pokemon thatwhich would otherwise be able to get rid of Alolan Marowak. Infernape can get rid of Pokemon like Excadrill, Heatran, and Tyranitar which Alolan Marowak gets outsped and OHKO'd by. Heatran is also a great teammate as it is able to trap and eliminate Physical walls with Magma Storm and without the need to run Stealth Rock on Heatran, it is allowing Heatran to be freed up to be able to use . Flash Cannon also allows Heatran in order to get rid of Mega Diancie, which is a huge threat to Alolan Marowak vs Fairy Teams. Victini can also benefit from Alolan Marowak's wall breaking capability as it can get rid of Psychic-types which can then free up a late game Z-Celebrate sweep. Rotom Heat is a Ground-type immunity, pivot with Volt Switch, and can provide Defog support to aid Alolan Marowak from taking hazard damage such as Stealth Rock and Spikes. Rotom-Heat also carries dual screens support and in conjunction with Stealth Rock being set by Alolan Marowak allows their teammates to sweep easier. Rotom-Heat also provides a Ground immunity and can utilize Volt Switch to bring in Alolan Marowak safely which is valued as Alolan Marowak does not sport good bulk. Volcanion is a great partner for Alolan Marowak as it is a Water immunity that supports Alolan Marowak as it is threatened by Water-type moves. Volcanion is also a special wall-breaker to compliment Alolan Marowak as a physical wall-breaker. Alolan Marowak also compliments Volcanion as it utilizes Lightning Rod as an Electric immunity.

Swords Dance can be used on Alolan Marowak to give it monstrous wall-breaking potential, however with its slow speed stat and subpar bulk, Alolan Marowak will rarely ever pull off a Swords Dance sweep. Rock Head can be used over Lightning Rod to allow Alolan Marowak to click Flare Blitz without any repercussion, however Alolan Marowak would miss the ability to switch-into Electric-type attacks from notable Pokemon like Tapu Koko, and Zapdos. I don't think you'd use AMaro without Lightning Rod.

**Water-types**: Offensive Water-type Pokemon such as Keldeo , Mega Swampert , and Rotom-W can outspeed and OHKO Alolan Marowak with their STAB attacks. This is the same thing as the below bullet, just add Water types into it.

**Super effective attacks**: Rock-types such as Tyranitar , Mega Diancie, Terrakion, and Nihilego, Ground-type Pokemon like Excadrill, Landorus, and Garchomp, as well as Dark-type Pokemon such as Hydreigon, Bisharp, and Mega Sharpedo can all outspeed and KO Alolan Marowak with their STAB attacks.

**Revenge Killers and Wallbreakers : Faster offensive threats such as Kyurem-Black, Dragonite, and Kommo-o will easily outspeed and OHKO Alolan Marowak as it has poor bulk.

**Entry Hazards and Residual Damage**: Being a grounded Fire-type, entry hazard damage such as Stealth Rock and Spikes can quickly wear down Alolan Marowak significantly, in addition, Toxic poison and Flare Blitz recoil can weaken Alolan Marowak significantly.

**Physically Defensive Pokemon**: Certain physical walls such as Mandibuzz, Hippowdon, and Porygon2 are all very bulky walls that Alolan Marowak cannot OHKO and all carry moves such as Foul Play and Earthquake which can KO Alolan Marowak

Alolan Marowak is a far more threatening Stealth Rock setter than Torkoal, (AC) who which is passive and is a more common Stealth Rock user, due to its ability to pressure common Defoggers such as Zapdos , Zapdos, Mantine, Skarmory, and Crobat thanks to its sky-high Attack stat. Due to its Ghost-typing Ghost typing, Alolan Marowak serves as a great spinblocker, (AC) allowing it to keep up Stealth Rock vs versus Bug teams. However, (AC) its slow 45 base 45 Speed and average bulk causes Alolan Marowak to get easily revenge killed. It often gets outclassed by other physical wallbreakers such as Infernape and Victini, (AC) as they possess a better Speed tier. Alolan Marowak is also weak to all entry hazards, (AC) as it is a grounded and Fire-type therefore it and will get worn down quickly with entry hazards up. It also does not appreciate Knock Off due to it relying on Thick Club to double its Attack stat , stat, as without it, it's wall-breaking its wallbreaking potential is subpar.

Following up Eien's comment, please remove the (AC) comments throughout the analysis. It stands for add comma, so you'd only add a comma but not the comment as well.
