  1. Pokémon Milotic

I use competitive on my team and once you get good at predicting defog you can get it to activate regularly. And even if you don't is still a decent tank. I've had milotic hold up in battles even without the boost. It help that I have spikes and rocks on my team though to really bait...
  2. Pokémon Pokébank changes discussion thread

Could even do a Nasty Plot/Hex/Dazzling Gleam/Will O Wisp set for added utility and/or sweeping.
  3. Pokémon Entei

If you're using Entei you shouldnt be letting rocks stay on the field to hit him 4 times anyway though. If you're going to be reliably spinning/defogging having an even hp is irrelevant.
  4. Pokémon Pokébank changes discussion thread

Misdreavus learns Dazzling Gleam. Very nice Ghost/Fairy coverage for her.
  5. Pokémon Milotic

I've been trying both the resttalk and competitive builds for Milotic out. Resttalk actually still works pretty well. Not a stand out by any means, but still a very viable option in Pokebank OU. Ran into a few Resttalking Suicunes as opponents too and it was nice to have the phazing to win...
  6. Pokémon Goodra [REVAMP]

My set is about phazing not really about walling or tanking. Nobody expects the acid armor so everytime I switch Goodra in on a special attacker they always switch right out allowing a free Acid Armor. From there Goodra just wracks up as much hazard damage as possible before going down. It's...
  7. Pokémon Goodra [REVAMP]

I've been thinking about switching my Goodra set up to Goodra @ Leftovers Ability: Hydration EVs: 252 HP / 20 Def / 236 SDef Impish Nature - Acid Armor - Rain Dance - Aqua Tail - Dragon Tail Over Sub and Body Slam. Been having issues with damage output and being able to boost damage and...
  8. Other Dedicated Leads

I've been liking Weavile as my lead lately. Taunt to prevent set up, then hit whatever switches in with Knock Off. Good way to swing early momentum my way so far. I just wish Icicle Crash and Knock Off were legal together.
  9. Other 6th Gen Pokemon OU Candidate Speculation Thread

I don't see why Vaporeons usage will drop that much. It's not like you can't just run water absorb instead. It still packs huge wishes, walls things well and has scald. And phazing in yawn/roar.
  10. Pokémon Goodra [REVAMP]

I've been running this set with Acid Armor and Substitute to make it that much bulkier. Most damage is from hazards and the point is to just weaken everything by a fair margin for an easy sweep which it accomplishes very well. Biggest problem I've had so far is Crawdaunt with those knock offs...
  11. Pokémon Dragonite

I know for a fact that adamant Weaviles Icicle Crash does without a Life Orb, so I wouldn't be too surprised that CB Azumarill would too.
  12. Pokémon Kangaskhan

Not going mega ASAP leaves you open for a burn from a faster ghost like Gourgeist. That extra speed from the mega form is really required to make sure you prevent getting burned. It's much safer just to run Crunch than to try and get a single boost from PUP imo.
  13. Pokémon Sylveon

Shadow Ball and some other support move. I use Reflect personally to act as a mixed wall.
  14. Pokémon Sylveon

You can try the calm mind with draining kiss set some of us are running.

  17. Pokémon Sylveon

I run this Sylveon@Leftovers Cute Charm Calm nature 252 Hp/252 Def/4 Sp Atk -Reflect -Calm Mind -Draining Kiss -Shadow Ball Dark types are welcome to come in and taunt. Just give a great big heal thanks to a SE Draining Kiss. I always either reflect or calm mind as soon as Sylveons out based...
  18. Pokémon Sylveon

Anyone else trying out Draining Kiss as their main stab on a mixed wall Sylveon? I run reflect over substitute for the added team utility and I get an awful lot of healing done after just one calm mind. Especially with all the dragon, dark and fighting types running around everywhere. Curious...
  19. Pokémon Gourgeist

I run an average size one because I also run sticky web support. I went 252 HP/252 Sp Def/4 Def SubSeed/WoW/Shadow Sneak. Been very reliable. Only times she's failed me is from user error.
  20. Move Freeze Dry

Yes, it is pretty unlikely. But in a gen where Flareon can learn Flare Blitz anything can happen. If it is limited to ice types and has the standard 10% freeze rate it will cut the usefulness of this move down by a lot.
