Alright sounds good, I guess the only suggestion I have is that if players are using HGSS they HAVE to battle at any city in Kanto. Johto battle music sucks anyways...also for that really old school feeling, at least one pokemon on your team should carry HyperBeam; it could work.

More reason to use Machamp :). Problem with that is most people don't like to think, so don't be surprised if you see generic RainDance and TrickRoom teams. There are also alot of fire types and chlorophyll users in 1st gen so expect Sunny Day to be popular, and if it wasn't it probably will be now when people see this VM.

Yep 1st gen was soooooooo balanced and not overcentralized.
And then my Chansey comes in to wall all three of those guys to hell, but yeah you are right. I like Mix tier teams, it gives the lesser used pokemon a chance to shine and not be looked down on. They can work surprisingly against some of the more overused pokes.
Nah I don't mind, it's nice to see us actually working together instead of trying to kill each other.
