  • Ok, when would be a good time to Wi-Fi together? I will need your friend code and I'm available mostly in the mornings and afternoons, but not the evenings.
Yeah. Oops lol. I can definitely make 10pm later. See you then and thanks again!
    Weavile
    Item: Focus Sash
    Ability: Pickpocket
    Nature: Jolly
    IVs: 31-31-31-21-31-31
    EV spread: 6-252-0-0-0-252
    Lv.50: 146-172-85-54-105-194
    Moves:
    ~ Fake Out
    ~ Beat Up
    ~ Ice Punch
    ~ Protect

The goal here, is to fake out threats to Terrkakion in the beginning of the match. Then, beat up Terrakion and buff him up so he can take out the opposing team with his one stab move or one of his two spread moves. Weavile can protect if earthquake is used and ice punch covers a variety of threats.

    Terrakion
    Item: Wide Lens
    Ability: Justified
    Nature: Jolly
    IVs: 31-31-31-00-31-31
    EV spread: 0-252-0-0-6-252
    Lv.50: 167-181-110-70-111-176
    Moves:
    ~ Close Combat
    ~ Rock Slide
    ~ Earthquake
    ~ Protect

Whether Terrakion is beat up by Weavile or not, he has enough sheer power to really damage other Pokemon with his close combat. Rock slide and earthquake are staple moves for coverage. The wide lens ensures that rock slide will not miss as often.

    Suicune
    Item: Lum Berry
    Ability: Pressure
    Nature: Timid
    IVs: 31-0-31-30-31-31 (HP Electric 70)
    EV spread: 6-0-252-0-0-252
    Lv.50: 176-72-135-141-135-150
    Moves:
    ~ Calm Mind
    ~ Scald
    ~ Ice Beam
    ~ Hidden Power Electric

Suicune is Weavile’s and Terrakion’s best friend as it works great as a wall against other water Pokemon. It can use calm mind to buff up its three attacks. The burn effect from scald is an added bonus.

    Latios
    Item: Life Orb
    Ability: Levitate
    Nature: Timid
    IVs: 31-30-31-30-31-30 (HP Fire 70)
    EV spread: 6–0-0-252-0-252
    Lv.50: 156-99-100-181-130-177
    Moves:
    ~ Dragon Pulse
    ~ Psyshock
    ~ Hidden Power Fire
    ~ Protect

Latios is a great tank and can take neutral hits quite well. Hidden Power Fire is a must to take out those pesky steel and bug types. Dragon pulse hits most Pokemon that don’t resist his other attacks.

    Metagross
    Item: Occa Berry
    Ability: Levitate
    Nature: Adamant
    IVs: 31-31-31-31-31-31-31
    EV spread: 6–0-0-252-0-252
    Lv.50: 156-205-150-103-110-122
    Moves:
    ~ Bullet Punch
    ~ Iron Head
    ~ Ice Punch
    ~ Protect

Since I have two dragons on the team, Metagross is helpful is dealing with other ice Pokemon and ice type damage. I’m using iron head instead of meteor mash because I don’t like using attacks that have a chance to miss. Ice punch is on the move set for extra coverage.

    Hydreigon
    Item: Dragon Gem
    Ability: Levitate
    Nature: Timid
    IVs: 31-0-31-31-31-31-31
    EV spread: 6–0-0-252-0-252
    Lv.50: 168-99-110-177-110-165
    Moves:
    ~ Dragon Pulse
    ~ Dark Pulse
    ~ Flamethrower
    ~ Protect

Hydreigon is good against the psychic and ghost types. Its flamethrower is more powerful than latios’s hidden power fire so that could come in handy when more firepower is needed. I chose a timid Hydreigon over a modest one for extra speed.
I got your team downloaded though, I will want to re-ev train the politoed and scizor. I could not find the relaxed reuniclus. Closest thing I could find was a sassy one and the ev's were wrong. I found an adamant hippowdon, but it did not have curse and the ev's were also wrong. I'm also surprised that you don't use a ludicolo on the water team. Here is the doubles team I was talking about: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4084817&postcount=1299. I hope that post works. Can you think of ways to improve that team and some other back up Pokemon I can add to that team to make it a 6-man?
I would consider myself an intermediate player at least when it comes to NPCs. I am new when in comes to battling against other players. I don't do good against legendaries, Pokemon that inflict status effects and Pokemon that buff and/or evade themselves up. I may not necessarily need any Pokemon bred now. I've been downloading a bunch of Pokemon from the Pokecheck website, but I don't know if I can use those in official Pokemon competitions that are held on the Pokemon Global Link website. I know that Smogon has competitions as well and I'm not sure how to get involved in those. I could download Pokemon all day, but I would like to get a solid team of six Pokemon that I could start practicing with by battling people on-line so I can get more experience. Drizzle Politoed is now my favorite Pokemon. I've had good experience using fast leads that have fake-out and team members that use protect. I prefer to use moves that hit 100% rather than ones with more power and have a chance to miss. I tried using a jolly Terrakion that has rock slide and wide lens and a pressure weaville with beat up as leads. Had good success with that, but couldn't get good back ups. I tried choice specs latios and suicune as back up, but I don't think the team had good synergy. I know whimiscott makes a better beat up partner, but that Pokemon is too advanced for me. I really could use some recommendations for a beginning competitive player.
I would like a team I could use to beat the VGC2013. Sure, I was in that competition with my Infernape, Latios, Metagross and Hydreigon team. What I didn't realize was my Infernape was still level 36 and I thought it would get skilled up to level 50 like in the subway. I placed 6331 on that with 4 wins and 3 loses. I wonder how many wins it would take to get to in like the top 10 placement? I tried the Cresselia, Metagross, Tyranitar and Rotom-W in the subway and it didn't work very well.
I made that water team you suggested and I was able to beat the Pokemon Super Subway doubles this morning. Thanks so much, that rain team worked like a charm. Now I just need to work on getting some legit Pokemon for competition. For starters, I don't have a very good Cresselia. It has max defense and special defense, but its hp and special attack are off by like 8 points and the speed is off by 3 points. I bred a max stat Metagross, but the special defense is off by 4 points. My Tyranitar has max stats except the defense is off by 1 and the hp is off by 3. My Rotom-W is outstanding and has hidden power ice, but I would prefer one with hidden power fire.
I am so sorry. I won't be around to make the trade tonight :( My girlfriend got home early and I have to go pick her up...
I will be able to make the trade Tuesday if you are around?
Could you possibly add a flawless ditto to that list of pokes please? Understand if you can't
I might not be able to do that then because of other commitments. I could maybe do an hour earlier.. If not I could do the same time on Tuesday next week..
I am GMT. Live in UK. Whoops careless to leave out the natures... Ghastly - Timid, Scyther - Adamant and Ferroseed - Brave
Yeah that would be superb thanks! Same time on Sunday? If I can't make it then I will message you letting you know.
