[SET COMMENTS]
Choice Scarf Latias makes for great speed control on Psychic teams, outspeeding and threatening the likes of non-Choice Scarf Dragapult, Choice Specs Greninja, and +1 Gouging Fire. Draco Meteor is a powerful attack that takes out Latios, Sableye, and Ursaluna-B. Trick allows it to greatly weaken foes that are reliant on their items, such as Heavy-Duty Boots users such as Amoonguss and Dragonite as well as Leftovers and Black Sludge users like Corviknight, Archaludon, and Alolan Muk. Healing Wish allows Latias to sacrifice itself to cure status and restore HP to a weakened teammate. 8 Special Defense EVs allow Latias to survive Choice Scarf Flutter Mane's Moonblast from full health.
Indeedee makes for a great partner, as it sets up Psychic Terrain to boost its teammates' Psychic-type STAB moves. Furthermore, Indeedee's part-Normal typing makes it a great asset in the Ghost matchup, performing well against threats like Spectrier and Choice Specs Flutter Mane. Slowbro is a good defensive partner, walling the likes of Mamoswine, Kingambit, and Chien-Pao and taking them out with Scald and Body Press. It also spreads paralysis with Thunder Wave so Latias is able to outspeed faster threats such as Choice Scarf Iron Valiant and Dragapult. Metagross and Deoxys-S both set up entry hazards to aid Latias, and Deoxys-S can act as a suicide lead, able to take out speedy threats such as Choice Scarf Iron Valiant and Sneasler. Metagross and Iron Crown both appreciate Latias handling Ground-types they don't like matching up against such as Choice Scarf Great Tusk and Landorus. In return, Iron Crown takes out Corviknight, Hatterene, and Clefable. Choice Band Hoopa-U beats bulky threats that Latias struggles with such as Hisuian Goodra, Blissey, and Gholdengo, and it appreciates Latias’s removal of Pecharunt in return. Hatterene provides hazard control through Magic Bounce, and with its part-Fairy typing, it takes on Dark-types like Mandibuzz, Roaring Moon, and Meowscarada. In return, Latias handles Poison-types that threaten Hatterene such as Choice Specs Iron Moth and Pecharunt. Iron Boulder forms a great offensive pairing with Latias, with Iron Boulder dealing with the likes of Choice Scarf Iron Valiant and Enamorus, while Latias handles Dragapult and Archaludon.
