Ultra Space Variants, V2 (Slate: Johto Starters)

Name: Raichu
New Stats: 67/157/53/97/83/113 (570)
New Typing: Electric/Ghost
Added Moves: Shadow Bone, Shadow Ball, Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak, Phantom Force, Swords Dance
Abilities: Beast Boost / Magic Guard / Lightning Rod
Appearance: A monochrome, translucent Raichu with 10 tails that have serrated edges made of bone reinforced Ultra Space's crystals. Apart from the head, its skeletal structure is very barely visible.
Possible moveset(s):
Raichu-Ultra @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Volt Tackle
- Shadow Bone
- Brick Break
- Fake Out
Is this lore?: Ultra Space is very weird and has a lot of distortions in reality. Raichu was charged with quantum energy and/or died, and mutated into whatever this is. Being partially phased out and unable to be stopped makes its tail attacks very powerful. It often preys upon Ultra Mimikyu.

UV-026 Nuclear (Raichu)
Base Stats: 43/97/71/157/71/131 (570)
Type: Electric/Fire
Abilities: Radiation Sickness - When this Pokémon is hit with a contact move, the attacker has a 30% chance of being badly poisoned (Toxic clone of Static), Toxic Waste - 1.5x power to Poison-type moves used by this Pokémon (Poison-type clone of Steelworker) (HA: Electric Surge)
Removed Moves: Rain Dance, Grass Knot, Disarming Voice, Hold Hands, Sweet Kiss, Charm, all moves exclusive to Alola form
Added Moves: Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Heat Wave, Sludge Wave, Sludge Bomb, Clear Smog, Searing Shot
Description: The region of Ultra Space containing Raichu had a strange magnetic field which rendered Raichu's usual method of energy storage useless. It searched desperately for a better, more efficient way to generate and store electricity, and in doing so it learned how to use its electrical powers to affect matter at an atomic level, as all atoms contain some form of electrical charge. Raichu learned how to fuse the atoms inside of its own body, releasing enormous amounts of energy and radiation in the process. The amount of energy it constantly produces caused it to shed its physical body and become a being of pure nuclear energy. Now a vaguely Raichu-shaped glowing red mass of exotic matter and energy, Raichu uses its mastery of control over energy to unleash powerful blasts of heat and electricity upon its opponents. It constantly emits dangerously high levels of radiation and it is extremely hazardous to be near one. When it consumes the atoms around it to transform them into energy, it uses the leftover radioactive waste as a weapon as well.
Competitive Analysis: Raichu is a massive offensive threat, outspeeding nearly every non-Scarfed thing in OU and hitting incredibly hard with its base 157 Sp. Atk. Radiation Sickness is a fairly interesting ability that can put most physical attackers on a timer, and is useful in conjunction with Air Balloon, as Raichu is incredibly weak to Earthquake and Earthquake users usually run a contact move which they use to get rid of Air Balloons. On the other hand, Toxic Waste effectively grants Raichu a third STAB, and Electric Surge gives its Electric STAB obscene amounts of power. Raichu works well with Life Orb or the aforementioned Air Balloon, but access to Volt Switch means that it can use Choice Specs just as effectively. Keep in mind that Raichu is very frail and has a Stealth Rocks weakness; it greatly appreciates teammates that can remove entry hazards. Tapu Lele is a great partner for non-Electric Surge sets as Psychic Terrain blocks priority moves, one of Raichu's main weaknesses.

UV-036 Wall (Clefable)
Base Stats: 199/73/223/71/2/2 (570)
Type: Fairy/Rock
Abilities: Solid Rock, Magic Bounce (HA: Unaware)
Removed Moves: Calm Mind, Amnesia, Cosmic Power, Lucky Chant
Added Moves: Power Gem, Ancient Power, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Rock Polish, Iron Defense, Power Trick, Sandstorm
Description: Clefable came to an inhospitable planet where meteor showers, gale-force winds, corrosive rain and lightning strikes were constant. To protect against the almost uninhabitable environment, Clefable developed a thick, rocklike skin which is tougher than any previously known material, surrounded by a shroud of psychic energy for added protection. However, its weight makes it nearly incapable of movement without using telekinesis. Furthermore, Clefable is extremely susceptible to non-physical damage, as its psychic powers are too preoccupied with keeping its defensive shroud up and simultaneously moving and/or attacking.
Competitive Analysis: Allow me to demonstrate how much physical bulk this monster has behind it:
252+ Atk Choice Band Hoopa-Unbound Zen Headbutt vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Clefable: 124-147 (20.5 - 24.4%) -- guaranteed 5HKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Deoxys-Attack Superpower vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Clefable: 136-160 (22.5 - 26.5%) -- 23.6% chance to 4HKO

252+ Atk Mewtwo-Mega-X Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Clefable: 158-186 (26.2 - 30.8%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

252+ Atk Pure Power Medicham-Mega High Jump Kick vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Clefable: 190-225 (31.5 - 37.3%) -- 86.8% chance to 3HKO

252+ Atk Teravolt Kyurem-Black Subzero Slammer (200 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Clefable: 216-255 (35.8 - 42.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

252+ Atk Technician Scizor-Mega Bullet Punch vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Clefable: 232-280 (38.5 - 46.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

+6 252 Atk Huge Power Azumarill Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Clefable: 319-376 (52.9 - 62.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ Atk Tough Claws Metagross-Mega Meteor Mash vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Clefable: 448-532 (74.4 - 88.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ Atk Choice Band Kartana Smart Strike vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Clefable:
472-564 (78.4 - 93.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ Atk Huge Power Mawile-Mega Iron Head vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Clefable: 484-576 (80.3 - 95.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ Atk Adaptability Lucario-Mega Iron Tail vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Clefable: 512-608 (85 - 100.9%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO

As you can see, it's almost impossible to OHKO with a physical attack, even a double super-effective one from a physical wallbreaker.

Though its defensive typing leaves much to be desired, both its unparalleled physical bulk and its access to great Abilities make it a potential staple for stall teams. Solid Rock makes Clefable difficult to kill even with super-effective hits, Magic Bounce prevents it from being Taunted or afflicted with Toxic, and Unaware allows it to outright ignore setup sweepers. Also, despite its atrocious Sp. Def, its HP allows it to tank most special hits when fully invested in HP and Sp. Def and then heal back up with Soft-Boiled. Additionally, since Clefable gets access to Trick Room, Power Trick and Wonder Room, it can use these to turn its weaknesses into strengths—Trick Room makes it even "faster" than Ultra Reuniclus, Wonder Room swaps its defenses and allows it to check every single one of its counters temporarily, and Power Trick sacrifices its godly bulk for a terrifying base 223 Attack stat. However, these are all somewhat niche options. The obvious choice for a partner to Clefable is Chansey, with nearly the same kind of special bulk as Clefable's physical bulk and great support synergy. When using Clefable, watch out for strong special attackers, especially special wallbreakers like Xurkitree.

UV-040 Symphony (Wigglytuff)
Base Stats: 97/37/101/137/137/61 (570)
Type: Fairy/Normal
Abilities: Allegro - Sound-based moves used by this Pokémon have +1 priority if this Pokémon is at full HP (sound-based clone of Gale Wings), Crescendo - Sound-based moves used by this Pokémon are boosted by 1.5x (sound-based clone of Strong Jaw/Mega Launcher) (HA: Fur Coat)
Removed Moves: Double-Edge, Play Rough, Brick Break, Gyro Ball, Wild Charge, Feint Attack, Punishment, Rollout, Body Slam, Dig, Power-up Punch, Strength, Drain Punch, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Focus Punch, Knock Off, Mega Punch, Mega Kick, Take Down, Submission, Skull Bash
Added Moves: Boomburst, Clanging Scales, Bug Buzz, Chatter
Description: Wigglytuff came to a highly populated planet where the atmosphere was quite dense. As a result, it lost its ability to inflate itself and fly, but the sound waves it produced were able to travel farther and faster due to the higher density of the atmosphere. Because of this, Wigglytuff became extremely skilled at producing different sounds. Due to the planet's cold climate, Wigglytuff's natural fur coat grew thicker and more protective, also allowing it to better defend against physical attacks. Wigglytuff have become very popular with the planet's inhabitants due to their appearance, fur coats and ability to produce complex non-biological sounds without the aid of instruments.
Competitive Analysis: From a competitive standpoint, regular Wigglytuff is honestly kind of sad to look at—it has an expansive movepool and a unique typing, but its stats and abilities are too awful to be anywhere close to viable. Not so with the new and improved Ultra Wigglytuff. This Wigglytuff has three excellent Abilities that can be used for a number of different roles, and good stats to back them up. Its 97/101/137 defenses are nothing to sneeze at, and 137 base Sp. Atk is very good as well. Its Speed is fairly low, but that can be mitigated with its ability Allegro, giving it priority on moves like Sing, Perish Song and Boomburst. Choice Specs combined with a 140-power priority STAB coming off of a base 137 Sp. Atk might seem a bit broken, but Pokémon like Chansey, Celesteela and any Ghost-type will force a switch-out once it's locked into Boomburst. If you'd rather forgo the priority for raw power, Crescendo effectively makes Boomburst a 210-power STAB move, as well as granting Wigglytuff coverage in the form of 135-power Bug Buzz, 165-power Clanging Scales and 97.5-power Chatter. Another strategy that's unusual and probably not too useful but still terrifying to think about is Crescendo Metronome-boosted Echoed Voice, reaching an effective 600 base power on the fifth turn before calculating STAB. That's enough to OHKO a Chansey with no Sp. Def investment or a Celesteela with maximum investment, but it takes so many turns to set up it's probably not worth it. If you'd rather go the defensive route, with Wigglytuff's good utility movepool including Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave and Heal Bell, Fur Coat allows it to double its Defense, making it a monstrous physical wall with great Sp. Def as well as excellent Sp. Atk for whatever you choose to run as your attacking move on it. All in all, Wigglytuff is a great Pokémon that can fill several different roles very well.

It has no SpDef. Just hit it with Hidden Power and it dies.
Sure, but you can alway, Idk, switch to something that takes special hits? I don't think that having really bad Sp. Def is an excuse to make ridiculously high Physical
Defense. Specially with good abilities and reliable recovery. Also this:

224+ SpA Pheromosa Focus Blast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Clefable: 459-540 (76.2 - 89.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Pheromosa, with 131 Sp. Atk on a neutral 120 STAB move; doesn't kill it. It's not that fragile.

Pretty much any special Steel move kills it, even with Solid Rock. Magnezone, Magearna and Celesteela are all popular in OU and carry special Steel STAB.

Also, Chansey has more physical bulk than this thing has special bulk.

It has something to do with school exams or anything school-related, otherwise, this can become worrisome.

I cannot really help here, but I can be aware that some insane submissions had turned some of us away, fearing that it could have won...

Those are only resubmission as transwiththeplans wanted all submitters to resubmit.

Name: UB-0D Blizzard (Ultra Raichu)
New Stats: 89/83/79/101/79/139 (570)
New Typing: Ice/Psychic
Added Moves: Blizzard, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Psychic, Psyshock, Calm Mind, Surf, Dazzling Gleam, Aura Sphere, Vacuum Wave, Flash Cannon
Abilities: Beast Boost / No Guard
Appearance: Familiar to Alolan Raichu upon reaching there, but the body is more of a light blue tone, and it's cheeks are colored magenta. It's tail is also changed into what looks like an image of an avalanche.
Possible moveset(s):
Raichu-Ultra @ Life Orb / Focus Sash
Ability: Beast Boost / No Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Psychic / Psyshock
- Ice Beam / Blizzard
- Aura Sphere / Vacuum Wave / Focus Blast
- Nasty Plot
Competitive Intention: The Ultra Raichu's origin is even more unknown than Alolan Raichu's, but one thing is clear: Not only it become far faster, but it can also hit a bit harder. While Ice/Psychic is a bad defensive typing, UB-0D Blizzard is not designed to be that; it is a fast Special Sweeper capable to deal powerful damage after a Nasty Plot.

Name: UB-0E Paradox (Ultra Clefable)
New Stats: 109 / 61 / 91 / 109 / 91 /109 (570)
New Typing: Ghost/Fairy
Added Moves: Dark Pulse, Perish Song, Vacuum Wave, Giga Drain, Recover, Pain Split, Heart Swap, Topsy-Turvy, Draining Kiss, Taunt
Abilities: Prankster / Magic Guard / Unaware
Appearance: It gains yellow, glowing eyes, and it's body become hollow indigo. It's wings are larger but looked decayed, and their arms are extandable like Mimikyu's.
Possible moveset(s):
Clefable-Ultra @ (Leftovers)
Ability: Unaware / Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
- Calm Mind / Topsy-Turvy / Heart Swap
- Moonblast / Draining Kiss
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast / Flamethrower / Fire Blast
Competitive Intention: A Special Attacking counterpart of Mimikyu, in which while not having Disguise, it got better bulk and Special Attack. With Prankster, you can shut down any potential setup sweepers, as well as passing Taunt long as it is not a Dark-type. Magic Guard will also help you if you are more into Life Orb tactic.

Name: UB-0F Blimp (Ultra Wigglytuff)
New Stats: 151/101/107/43/107/61 (570)
New Typing: Flying/Water
Added Moves: Liquidation, Waterfall, Recover, Earthquake, Drain Punch, Leech Life, Thunder/Ice/Fire Punch (not as past moves), Heavy Slam (slightly heavier than Wailord, but certainly not as heavy as Celesteela), Aqua Jet, Bulk Up, Stockpile, Crunch, Explosion, Bounce, Defog, Tailwind, Beak Blast, Acrobatics
Abilities: Beast Boost / Defiant / Motor Drive
Appearance: Bigger than Wailord, enough said. To be more serious, it is bigger than Wailord, but Wigglytuff's body is grey-blue, and it's arms are longer. It also gain a beak-like horn for some reason, making it easily mistaken for a giant bird.
Possible moveset(s):
Wigglytuff-Ultra @ (Leftover) / Life Orb
Ability: Beast Boost / Motor Drive
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bulk Up / Recover
- Liquidation
- Bounce / Beak Blast
- Earthquake
Competitive Intention: While surely fall short of resistances compared to Celesteela and lack of Special Attack, UB-0E Blimp can either laugh at Defog or Intimdate users with Defiant, make it bulkier on either side with Beast Boost or neutralize its biggest weakness, Electric-type, and convert it into much needed Speed raise with Motor Drive. The reason I gave it Beak Blast is to give it a physical niche over its Water/Flying rivals, Gyarados and Mantine. And trust me, this Ultra Wigglytuff is actually much bulkier than Celesteela is!

In short, Raichu is the avalanche, Clefable is the typical ghost + sheet mix, and Wigglytuff had become a big, blue blimp.

So... Solgaleo and Lunala now have Ultra Space Variants, eh?

I mean, they fused with Necrozma but still. I guess both this and Fusion Evolution are cannon now
