Hello boys and girls, with classic ending, nu league with drops coming, and the sneasel suspect up, I figured this would be a great time to make a team dump with some of my favorite squads for as many gens of nu as I've played. Some of these might be a little experimental, but I'll mark the squads like that. I'd like to periodically update this thread in the future as I make fun stuff I wanna share, too. I'm also posting these in no particular order so don't assume that the first few teams I throw out are the best.

Also, all brothers of clef clef are invited to dump teams too. you know who you are....

I hate Accelgor. I've edited this team about 500 times and this is probably the build I'm most happy with. On paper it's a good mon because it's threatens all of the defoggers instead of Golbat (which is a bad pokemon) but in practice it gets walled by shitmons like Hitmontop, gets up a layer, and dies. You can use modest because Tangelo insists it's better but I didn't care enough to look into it. The rest of the team is cool, though. The two Whims lures in PJab Gurdurr and Roseli Berry Drud give Klinklang a lot more breathing room in terms of being the sole resist on the team. Defog on Scarf Rotom, despite it being a spikes stack team, is more so a panic button in case your opp brings TSpikes. Also, the Gurdurr defense EV's allow it to always live a Corkscrew Crash from +1 Klinklang after Rocks in case you were wondering. Oh, and watch out for Scarf Delphox. Stun Spore it on the switch in with Whims if you can otherwise you have to rely on keeping Drud super healthy.

Cinccino + Curse Hitmonlee Balance or Bulky Offense because people get too nitpicky about the classification of teams lol seriously did you guys know that one time Dundies brought 5 stall mons and a Sneasel against me and when I called it stall he corrected me and said it was balance like wtf
Cinccino @ Choice Band

Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic
- Wish
- Protect
- Flamethrower
The objective with this team was to use Cincinno to bust a hole for a sweeper of some kind. It was not made to be much more complex than that. In reality, you could probably swap out the hitmonlee for another sweeper because I don't think it was on this team for any reason other than that I wanted to try it. Watch out for Slowbro + Steelix or Drud + Emboar teams cause those are bad matchups. Still possible to win against them, but it's a little rough.

- Volt Switch

Houndoom @ Black Glasses
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Fire Blast
- Dark Pulse
- Pursuit
- Taunt
This team is good on paper but I never ended up testing it much except against rozes who beat it with the same team three times. With the fall of Xatu, I felt like some TSpikes + phazing shit was a cool idea, so that was really my main motivation here. I made some small edits while putting this team in here, so ideally they made it a bit more optimal for play.

The garb set is weird, but I didn't have another z mon so I figured z poison would be ok to use. It's enough speed to outspeed Xatu creeping Jolly Emboar so you can Z-Gunk on the switch and kill with another Gunk after. The rest goes in HP cause I'm still a little virizion weak.

OTR Aroma Bulky Offense
Aromatisse @ Fairium Z
Ability: Aroma Veil
EVs: 232 HP / 252 SpA / 24 Spe
Modest Nature

- Nasty Plot
- Moonblast
- Psychic
- Trick Room

- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power [Ground]

Seismitoad @ Leftovers

- Toxic

Houndoom @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Fire Blast
- Dark Pulse
- Pursuit
- Destiny Bond

Rotom @ Colbur Berry

- Will-O-Wisp
- Hex
- Volt Switch
- Defog

Ability: RKS System
EVs: 252 HP / 232 SpD / 24 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Defog
- Flash Cannon
- Flamethrower
- Toxic
This is one of my all time favorite teams to ladder with. The idea here was to use Vanilluxe to pressure a lot of the mons that prevent OTR Aroma from winning (aka Fire-type, Klinklang, MDino, etc) and it ended up being the team that showed the meta just how great OTR Aroma is. The biggest issue with this squad is a crippling weakness to Z-Iron Tail Scrafty, but I know that set is falling out of favor for Chople and such and Scrafty isn't extremely common as is. The team is kind of self explanatory otherwise, with Scarf Houndoom to combat Delphox, double Defog to support Doom and Ice Cream, a relatively simple BO defensive core of Seis and Silv-Steel, etc.

- Defog
This team has gone through a series of edits, too, but I am a pretty big fan of the current version. Life Orb Drud is a pretty cool anti-meta call right now because it has a surprisingly good matchup versus just about every team archetype. No STAB might throw people off at first, but Gunk Shot is spammable enough by itself that it's ok. Thunder Punch hits Slowbro, Fire Punch hits the Steels, and Sucker Punch is important on this team for the double threat of priority in the absence of a Scarfer. Meepsmortar (official name I'm pushing for the analysis) is important to prevent the team from being 6-0'd by stall. Ferroseed is also not seen as much nowadays, but it's pretty ok when paired with a Pursuit mon like Sneasel considering it's such a good check to Whims, Cinccino, and Klinklang (since they don't run Sub.)

Druddigon @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spe
Impish Nature

Haunter @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Bomb
- Destiny Bond
- Trick
This is one of those experimental builds and it's been that way for the fucking five hundred times I've edited it. Typh is legitimately cool, though, considering most of the metagame's preparation for Fire-types is limited to stuff like Drud and Slowbro which both get nuked by Eruption. Double Defog is a given on a squad like this and I think that the FWG DFS 5 mon core is mega cute. I've had some nice success with this squad on ladder so hopefully you guys do too.

The Klinklang that you wish had a coverage move
Klinklang @ Leftovers

- Hydro Pump
- Sludge Bomb
- Earth Power
I thought it'd be cool if Klinklang could work as a lure for shit like Slowbro/Seis while also being a relatively safe Whims and Vanilluxe check that didn't worry about getting chipped as much. The idea is to whittle down stuff to the point where either you sweep or slowbro or houndoom do it for you. It used to be an alolan dugtrio, if you want me to be honest, but that mon is ultra bad. It also used to have broken sub seed whims but I don't think that set is broken anymore unfortunately.

I made this team for garay for nu seeded and it's still pretty cool in today's meta just made a few tiny changes. It was originally sd resttalk, but I think ID actually fits really well on this team since most of the mons crush the phazers that it struggles with (IE Steelix and Rhydon.) I've only made edits to it since USUM dropped, though, so as far as I know it could still be bad lol.

ADV NU

Shelgod + Dig
Mawile @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 132 Atk / 124 Spe
Adamant Nature

- Focus Punch
- Baton Pass
- Hidden Power [Steel]

Diglett @ Choice Band
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

- Rock Slide
- Sludge Bomb
- Toxic

Shelgon @ Leftovers
Ability: Rock Head

IVs: 3 Atk / 30 SpA
- Calm Mind
- Heal Bell
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Electric]

Murkrow @ Choice Band
Ability: Insomnia
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Drill Peck
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Ground]
- Double-Edge

Wailord @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Veil
EVs: 252 Def / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Surf
- Toxic
This is my favorite ADV NU team. I think it either lost once or not at all throughout the entirety of classic. The idea is to use Diglett and Murkrow to kill or whittle down the Steel- and Rock-types that give Shelgon a hard time. Lead maw isn't all that common, but I've found it's pretty useful because of its matchup against lead Glalie/Venomoth and Intimidate on Hitmonchan. You have Wailord in the back for lead Flareon if you need, especially considering physically offensive variants get intimidated.

Magcargo Balance
Magcargo @ Leftovers
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 HP / 224 Def / 32 SpA
Relaxed Nature
- Flamethrower
- Rock Slide
- Toxic
- Protect

Bellossom @ Leftovers
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 2 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Synthesis
- Sleep Powder
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Swalot @ Leftovers
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
- Sludge Bomb
- Explosion
- Fire Punch
- Hidden Power [Grass]

Hitmonchan @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bulk Up
- Sky Uppercut
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Ghost]

Piloswine @ Leftovers
Ability: Oblivious
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Double-Edge
- Substitute

Murkrow @ Choice Band
Ability: Insomnia
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Drill Peck
- Shadow Ball
- Double-Edge
- Hidden Power [Ground]
This is the first team where I tried out both Magcargo and Swalot. Mag is a little shaky of a Normal check (and the team's weakness to EQ Vigoroth and HP Ground Murkrow shows that) so you can probably replace it for a Sudowoodo if you'd like. iirc Sub Piloswine was an Oglemi set and I thought it would fit well here since I wanted a tough breaker and a strong EQ with appropriate coverage is a hard thing to cover for in ADV NU. This team is just satisfying to play with because of the many different ways you can perform with it.

-----

this is enough to start hopefully these will be good enough for people who want to get into the tier or do suspect laddering. I'm in the process of making a bunch of edits to old teams to get them caught up and have like 10-15 teams in my editing folder. I'm also gonna be dropping some adv and oras teams when I come back to this tonight or in a few days.

hello donkey's kisses I appreciate the feedback on my teams.

klinklang is a great pokemon for certain which is why I try not to use it on every team. every battle is a riddle and if the opponent figures out they can win because I don't have a klinklang then I think I've enriched everyone's day that much more.

I hope you have an even better day friend
