Ability: Full Metal Body
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
IVs: 0 Atk
Modest Nature

- Thunderbolt / Flamethrower
- Calm Mind
- Agility / Morning Sun
[SET COMMENTS]
Solgaleo stands out as a powerful sweeper that can take over games with its great stats, movepool, and set variance. Psychic hits Great Tusk, Urshifu-R, as well as Galarian Zapdos. Flash Cannon hits Arceus-Fairy, Garganacl, and Iron Boulder, while Thunderbolt allows it to hit Samurott-Hisui, Mandibuzz, and Corviknight. Meanwhile, Flamethrower also allows it to hit Corviknight as well as opposing Solgaleo and Magearna. Agility allows it to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame after one boost, while Morning Sun can change it into a more defensive sweeper, letting it set up more easily on passive pokemon such as Blissey and Corviknight. Cameruptite allows Solgaleo to boost its power, allowing it to OHKO Pokemon it can't or change some rolls on Pokemon such as Regieleki, Corviknight, and Dragonite. Solgaleo is troubled by common special tanks like Blissey and Ho-Oh, so teammates such as Urshifu-R, Barraskewda, and Iron Boulder are appreciated as they help pressure said walls. Solgaleo also enjoys the presence of common hazard setters such as Hisuian Samurott, as well as screen setters like Deoxys-Speed as they help it chip opponents and find more opportunities to set up.
