Mimikyu as a check

Mimikyu @ Ghostium Z
Ability: Disguise
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Sneak
- Play Rough
- Shadow Claw

Again, the best check is back. Thanks to Disguise, Mimikyu has a free turn to shoot a powerful Never-Ending Nightmare and then finish the boosted Victini with Shadow Sneak.
There's a little chance to fail the job, since the minimum roll is 99%, but most of the times there's no problem.

252+ Atk Mimikyu Never-Ending Nightmare (140 BP) vs. +1 0 HP / 0 Def Victini: 260-308 (76.2 - 90.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ Atk Mimikyu Shadow Sneak vs. +1 0 HP / 0 Def Victini: 78-92 (22.8 - 26.9%) -- 31% chance to 4HKO

Ability: Water Bubble
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
IVs: 0 Spe
Brave Nature
- Liquidation
- Leech Life

Araquanid has great special bulk which means it can take a 120 BP Stored Power, its ability Water Bubble also halves damage taken from Fire-type attacks, it also resists Focus Blast.
252+ Atk Choice Band Water Bubble Araquanid Liquidation vs. +1 0 HP / 0 Def Victini: 408-484 (119.6 - 141.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Outrage
- Dragon Claw

If Victini takes SR damage or around 20% when setting up, Garchomp is able to come in and revenge kill Victini. If Victini is at near-max health and Garchomp is in the same position, it can take one Stored Power and 2HKO Victini.

Thanks for all your support everyone. Been a good week both for my holiday and this thread. Seen some good posts and creative ideas. Only 1 fairy but you know it is what it is. Anyway congratulations to the winners listed below

This weeks victom will be Defensive Mew. A pokemon Considered one of the few good Defoggers currently in the tier and a popular partner for the likes of Volcarona and the Zards. It also makes a decent hazard setter in the meta thanks to the sharp decline of stall and by extension sableye

Set
Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 240 HP / 156 Def / 112 Spe
Timid Nature
- Ice Beam / Psychic / Fire Blast
- Will-O-Wisp
- Soft-Boiled
- Defog / Stealth Rock

Explanation:
Arguably Ou's premier Defogger and most certainly one of the reliable answers to megas like medicham, Mawile, Lopunny and Latias Mew has found itself an integral Part of many balance and offence teams thanks to its ability to Role compress and check so much in 1 slot. The EVs do what they need to do in stoping the aforementioned Megas as well outpacing Jolly lando. Ice beam is preferred For its decent coverage and ability to stop the ground Trinity while Psychic is a stab that beats toxapex and Mega Venusuar. Fireblast tho rare is an option against steels like ferrothorn or scizor that would come in for free otherwise. Will-oh-wisp and Softboiled are standard. Defog clears hazards and thanks to mews Typing and movepool has an easy time doing this while Stealth rock is an option if you lack a hazard setter

Well thats it everyone goodluck this week and Happy posting

Cheryl.

Celesteela is Life

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Taunt
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock / Toxic

Heatran counters this Mew set easily, seeing as Mew can't do much of anything to it with Ice Beam or Psychic, and Heatran is immune to Fire Blast and Will-O-Wisp, giving it free opportunities to trap Mew and play games with it with Taunt, which prevents Mew from healing the Magma Storm damage. Toxic is also a fine option for better stallbreaking and also crippling Mew even more.

252 SpA Heatran Magma Storm vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 163-193 (40.6 - 48.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery (Not that much at first glance but with residual damage from Storm and Taunt preventing Mew from Roosting you defo beat it in the long run)

0 SpA Mew Psychic vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Heatran: 46-54 (14.2 - 16.7%) -- possible 9HKO after Leftovers recovery (Pitiful)

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Soft-boiled
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast

Seeing as how no one uses Taunt Mew, Clefable is a complete and total counter to Mew. Mew has no hopes of ever breaking through Clefable due to its good bulk, so it's nothing but setup fodder, and eventually Clefable will break Mew as it continues to accrue multiple boosts.

Volcarona as a check

Volcarona @ Buginium Z / Psychium Z
Ability: Flame Body / Swarm
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Fire Blast
- Bug Buzz
- Psychic / HP Ground / Substitute

Volcarona takes hardly anything from mew's attacks (psychic does the most and its hardly a 3hko), is immune to wisp, and can setup and KO how it pleases in return (or setup sub if sub QD).
0 SpA Mew Psychic vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Volcarona: 93-111 (29.9 - 35.6%) -- 29.2% chance to 3HKO
252 SpA Volcarona Bug Buzz vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 306-360 (76.3 - 89.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Mew Psychic vs. +1 0 HP / 4 SpD Volcarona: 63-75 (20.2 - 24.1%) -- guaranteed 5HKO
+1 252 SpA Volcarona Bug Buzz vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 456-536 (113.7 - 133.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

It can lose to psychic mew (assuming you're not swarm)if rocks are up and you're forced to take a hit on the switchin, but it should beat the cat the rest of the time and this scenario shouldn't occur under normal circumstances.

Greninja-Ash @ Darkinium Z
Ability: Battle Bond
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Hydro Pump
- Water Shuriken
- Taunt / Spikes

Ash Greninja comes in basically for free, since it doesn't really mind Wisp, and Fire Blast/Ice Beam are resisted while Psychic is an immunity. Mew also really doesn't want to Defog on you since even in non-Ash form, you threaten the 2HKO with Dark Pulse and the OHKO with Black Hole Eclipse. In Ash form, Water Shuriken+Dark Pulse is an OHKO, so you can freely Spike up or just Taunt whatever comes in (Mantine, Gastrodon) and do heavy chip with Dark Pulse/Black Hole Eclipse.

0 SpA Mew Earth Power vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Greninja-Ash: 86-102 (30.1 - 35.7%) -- 32.6% chance to 3HKO

Everything else listed is a 5HKO, but some defensive Mew carry Earth Power to nail Heatran, and even then it's still a free switch

252 SpA Greninja Dark Pulse vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 222-264 (55.3 - 65.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 SpA Greninja Black Hole Eclipse (160 BP) vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 444-524 (110.7 - 130.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Greninja-Ash Dark Pulse vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 296-350 (73.8 - 87.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 SpA Greninja-Ash Water Shuriken (20 BP) (3 hits) vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 111-135 (27.6 - 33.6%) -- approx. 89.5% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Reserving Araqua-- wait this thing got unranked, Reserving Chandelure.

Chandelure as a Counter.

Chandelure @ Choice Specs
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Overheat
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
- Trick

Because of Chandelure's access to Flash Fire it's immune to Will-O-Wisp and Fire Blast while also resisting Ice Beam and can OHKO with Shadow Ball.

252 SpA Choice Specs Chandelure Shadow Ball vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 426-504 (106.2 - 125.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 SpA Mew Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Chandelure: 35-42 (13.4 - 16%) -- possible 7HKO

Counter: Specs Hoopa-U

Hoopa-Unbound @ Choice Specs
Ability: Magician
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt

Doesn't care about a burn due to being a special attacker, even if it gets a crit Mew can only 3HKO.

0 SpA Mew Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Hoopa-Unbound: 63-75 (20.9 - 24.9%) -- guaranteed 5HKO
0 SpA Mew Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Hoopa-Unbound on a critical hit: 95-112 (31.5 - 37.2%) -- 83.2% chance to 3HKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Hoopa-Unbound Dark Pulse vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 480-566 (119.7 - 141.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Also, you may want to edit the title of this thread

Time out, I'll take Clefable

CM Clefable as a counter

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
- Stealth Rock
- Calm Mind

It can enter whenever it wants and setup with Calm Mind or recover health with Soft-Boiled

0 SpA Mew Psychic vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Clefable: 106-126 (26.9 - 31.9%) -- 40.2% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 SpA Mew Psychic vs. +1 252 HP / 4 SpD Clefable: 70-84 (17.7 - 21.3%) -- possible 7HKO after Leftovers recovery

0 SpA Clefable Moonblast vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 99-117 (24.6 - 29.1%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery
+1 0 SpA Clefable Moonblast vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 147-174 (36.6 - 43.3%) -- 98.5% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Latias @ Latiasite
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Recover
- Stored Power
- Thunderbolt

Because of the lack of Taunt on Mew, Mega-Latias can use Mew as a set up fodder, even taking little damage from Mew's Ice Beam thanks to its high special bulk. Although it can't do immediate damage to Mew, it can hurt it after a few boosts.

0 SpA Mew Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Latias-Mega: 92-110 (25.2 - 30.2%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

+3 0 SpA Latias-Mega Stored Power (140 BP) vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 251-296 (62.5 - 73.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Specs Gengar as a check

Gengar @ Choice Specs
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Focus Blast
- Trick

Gengar doesn't really care about being burnt, and has a 87,5% chance to ohko mew, with stealth rock it's a garuanteed ohko (and mew will ussualy come in on rocks, because otherwise it wouldn't have to defog). In return, mew has a high chance to ohko gengar with psychic, but if it carries ice beam or fire blast it is a 3 hit ko. Gengar can even cripple mew with trick, forcing it to go for psychic, killing gengar, but preventing mew to defog effectively for the rest of the game.

252 SpA Choice Specs Gengar Shadow Ball vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 392-464 (97.7 - 115.7%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Gengar Shadow Ball vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Mew: 392-464 (97.7 - 115.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

0 SpA Mew Psychic vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Gengar: 246-290 (93.8 - 110.6%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO
0 SpA Mew Ice Beam vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Gengar: 82-97 (31.2 - 37%) -- 80.1% chance to 3HKO
0 SpA Mew Fire Blast vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Gengar: 101-119 (38.5 - 45.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
