Hai. I like stall. So I made a stall team

Hello everyone. This is my 2nd squad dump. These 3 teams have all been very successful and are pretty fun to use. For the first team, it started with me wanting to make a stall team with one mon that sort of auto wins the stall matchup, or at least after chansey dies.

hello i haven't played in a while, i built this yesterday. simple offense team, it definitely has issues with rain, some fatter teams and other fast offenses but for the most part it gets games finished quickly. fini and m-zor might be a bit annoying to play against though i haven't been seeing defog on those as of late, you could always change up the sets or switch a poke to trade for assurance against those things. the team is currently 27-0 and it's been fun so far, so i thought it'd be nice to drop here.

Hello again. With the new release of mega Manectric, Mega Abomasnow, and Mega Tyranitar, I thought I would share one of my best squads so far using the new megas. This team was built around Mega-Abomasnow. While this may seem like the worst of the three, it is actually very effective in this meta as a late game cleaner.

The Team:

View attachment 83249 View attachment 83250 View attachment 83251 View attachment 83252 View attachment 83253 View attachment 83254

Breakdown:
I started obviously with Mega-Abomasnow. My first thought was that I should add a hail abuser. I didn't want to add sluch rush pokemon like sandslash because it is bad lol. I then remembered how powerful Icium Z Kyurem-Black was. Kyurem-Black usually OHKOs anything with Z Freeze Shock lol, making it a huge nuke and a great breaker in general. I wanted to capitalize of Kyurem's coverage, so I added Tapu Koko next. By adding electric terrain, I would only make Kyurem's damage output even larger. In Electric terrain, Kyurem can now shred stall all day. I had a problem with Tapu Lele now, and I was super weak to Volcarona and rocks, and needed a psychic spam check. I added Heatran to solve most of these problems, I made Heatran specially defensive, and is EVs to be 3HKOd by specs modest Tapu Lele, 3HKOd by magnet Tapu Koko, 5HKOd by seismic toss, and 2HKOd by +1 Hidden Power Ground from Volcarona. Steel Types were still a problem and I couldn't find room on Heatran for Stealth Rock. I also was super weak to Landorus. I added Gravity + Stealth Rock Landorus-T to check other Landori (ends in "us" lol sorry), to beat more steel types, ensure a victory vs stall, and set rocks. Lastly I started thinking about weather wars, and wanted something to soft-check both Kingdra and Mega-Swampert. I added Tapu Fini to provide a solid water type, and to defog because I was still weak to rocks. Haze is for Mega-Charizard X.

Enjoy! :)

How is kyurem-black a hail abuser if it doesnt have blizzard or some anti-meta thing like ice body or snow cloak? Blizzard is pretty much the only good thing about hail unless you are running alolan ninetales

Felixx

I'm back.
- - -Specs Gengar Balance- - -

Specs Gengar is the team's main wall breaker, Gengar has Hp Ice to OHKO Lando, Garchomp, And Zygarde, it can be changed to focus blast if needed

AV Tornadus provides knock off support and is a u-turn pivot, only has enough speed for base 110's to maximize sp. def bulk

Mantine deals with M-Charizard-Y, Volcarona and Ash-Greninja, defogs hazards away

M-Venusaur is a blanket check to many threats like defensive Lando, Tapu koko, Tapu Bulu and CB Zygarde, has leech seed instead of giga drain because i prefer the passive damage while healing more than giga drain would

/ Whats the sp. def evs for? /
(252 SpA Life Orb Tapu Koko Thunderbolt vs. 248 HP / 112 SpD Venusaur-Mega in Electric Terrain: 90-105 (24.7 - 28.9%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Stealth Rock)

Scarf Keldeo pressures Tangrowth to come in, letting M-Venusaur come in for free, toxic hits Tangrowth and opposing Mantine on the switch

Heatran sets up rocks, the reason it has magma storm is for Toxapex, taunt stops it from recoving hp

- Ice Punch
- Fake Out
- Zen Headbutt

I began building this team with Tapu Koko. Tapu Koko with Choice Specs hits very hard. Thunderbolt is obvious main STAB Volt Switch over U-turn since you want to deal heavily damage before you switch out take good care of dugtrio though and then Dazzling gleam to hit Ground Type Switch ins and then Hidden power fire for things like Ferrothorn or Mega Scizor. The next Pokemon I put on the team was Magearna since I thought that the new Double Dance set was really effective I wanted to use it. You need to take care of things like Mega Venusaur, Heatran or Ferrothorn for example before attempting to set up. Magearna is also my Z move user of the team because it can OHKO Toxapex from full for example or you can snowball off with boost of off the Z move. My Mega of the Team is Medicham. I decided to use Mega Medicham because I didnt use it much this gen because I thought with all these Landos running around it would less effective. But after using the team it showed me that Mega Medicham is still a beast. Ice Punch for Lando Switch ins High jump Kick for STAB, Fake out to deal damage to faster Pokemon on the turn you switch in and then Zen Headbutt over Thunder Punch because this team is really weak to Mega Venusaur. I put Choice Scarf Greninja on the team because of Volcarona. Since it can OHKO even Charti Berry Sets I thought I would be a good decision to use it over Keldeo. It also forms a nice VoltTurn Core with Landorus and Tapu Koko. The next member of the team is Landorus-T. Hidden Power ice Is for other Landos. U-turn is for momentum and it is the Stealth rocker of the team. The last mon I put on the team was Assault Vest Tangrowth up to this point the team was very weak to rain and AV Tangrowth handles rain pretty good.

I would appreciate any input regarding this team :]

Scarf Greninja is honestly not good. It locks it out of using its great move pool, and without a Life Orb it's not very powerful. I'm also not a fan of Specs Tapu Koko, as with Landorus-T and Zygarde all over the place Electric moves aren't that spammable. I'd replace it with a Zap Plate or Life Orb personally. Other than that, looks like a solid team.

how about replacing scarf greninja with scarf keldeo and then using zap plate over specs on tapu koko ? would that work ?

Yeah except, Scarf Greninja is like one of the best scarfers in the tier? It's able to run practically any combination of moves depending on what your team needs revenge killed the most, and on top of that it's able to keep up momentum very efficiently with U-turn and Rock Slide for Volcarona. Its Speed tier for a Scarfer is very good because it puts it ahead of the entire metagame as well as stuff like Mega Swampert in the rain. It's not meant to be a wallbreaker, but a revenge killer, so who cares if it's not that strong as long as it gets the job done? Don't go around telling people something is bad when you clearly have no idea what you're talking about considering that Scarf Greninja is used quite often in tour play.

Began building this team with Mega Sableye. Mega Sableye imo is a very underrated mega in the meta rn (not on stall), especially with sticky web plaguing the ladder and mons like Celesteela/Ferrothorn/Skarmory running around. Ran a more physically defensive set that allows it to take on LO Marshadow, with Will-O-Wisp to help cripple mons like Zygarde and Heracross (but Toxic can be replaced). Next I knew I wanted to use hazard stacking so I added Spikes Ferrothorn, and Defensive rocks Landorus-T, which also helps out with mons like Tapu Lele and Zygarde. The next two mons are chosen to help abuse the Hazards. Marshadow has basically no switch ins in the meta rn, not only does it have amazing base 125 atk and spe, but it also has access to an incredible movepool and the ability technician; allowing it to take advantage of Shadow Sneak and HP Ice. I chose to run Spell Tag so I am not locked into any move, and to help with hiding my item. Scarf Tapu Lele is on this team to help revenge opposing Marshadow and to also help clean up late game. Band Tyranitar is on here to help trap threats like Heatran, Manectric, Latios, and locked in Leles. Earthquake helps with easing prediction against heatran and also assists in 2hkoing any Toxapex Spread. Dugtrio can be ran in this spot since its faster and considered a "better" trapper (also helps out with Magearna), but I wanted something a little bulkier on this team. In Closing this team is not perfect but I believe it does have the ability to beat many teams, especially HO

Tapu Bulu - SD has very little counterplay, best bet is using will-o-wisp with Sableye (hoping they're not sub) and then spamming HP Ice with Landorus-T.
Dugtrio - Not as much as threat as other mons seeing as it really only annoys TTar, but still a big threat with the right set, to counterplay try getting up a hazard so Tapu Lele can OHKO.
Tapu Lele - Any Set is a nuisance, but if you keep TTar healthy and it can't use/doesnt have focus blast, you can pursuit trap it seeing as Tyranitar even eats Specs Moonblast.
Marshadow - Ya its broken w/e just keep Sableye Healthy.
SD Mega Zor - Keep Lele Alive/Wisp with Sableye.
Prolly ALOT more threats but none really scream out to me

Sableye is phys def for Medicham and Landorus, bounces back hazards reliablely

Chansey is here because Chansey just dosen't want to die at all

Shedinja is the star of the team, focus sash gives it an extra life, will o wisp cripples physical attackers, toxic cripples charizard x and y, shadow sneak is Stab and leech life is for when your opponent goes hard Greninja or Weavile. (use focus sash well to put an emergency stop to swords dances)

Quagsire + dual will o wisp support lets it wall physical attackers hard

Zapdos is for Pinsir, provides defog, speed is for adamant Zygarde

Dugtrio is Flyinium Z for Heracross

- - -Threat List- - -

Flyinium Z Swords Dance Landorus (use protect on Sableye well since Zapdos takes a lot and dies to +2 after rocks, after Z-move is used Zapdos walls)
Darkium Z Swords Dance Kartana (focus sash Shedinja's will o wisp can help Zapdos wall this, Zapdos is great, here's a Dugtrio calc to finish off Kartana,

252 Atk Dugtrio Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Kartana: 109-129 (42 - 49.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO)

Mega Gyarados since Mold breaker bypasses Unaware (focus sash will o wisp + Zapdos walls, again)

Enjoy! Rethink your life when you're enjoying using this!

I wish I had replays so i will update this post with replays when i get them  ENJOY
I honestly think that on the psyspam team sash isn't the best item for zam. It is most commonly used with counter, which makes sense, but sash twave seems outclassed and unnecessary here anyways. I like these teams though (most of them :P) and look forward to seeing more creative teams like these in the future :)

So I need help with this team. I feel like I am too low on the ladder to appropriatly test this team. So I am looking for advice. So at the team everything can be changed but the Zapdos. I really wanted to try out Electrium Z Zapdos that is why I was trying to built this team around it.

Zapdos @ Electrium Z
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]

- U-turn
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Stealth Rock

Manaphy @ Wacan Berry
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Surf
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Psychic
- Tail Glow

Tapu Koko @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 136 Atk / 252 SpA / 120 Spe
Hasty Nature
- U-turn
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Brave Bird

Greninja @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Spikes
- Gunk Shot
- Hydro Pump
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 132 Def / 108 SpD / 20 Spe
Impish Nature
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Roost
- Pursuit

I started with Electrium Z Zapdos. I thought that it would catch people offguard when a Zapdos uses a z move. And since I love Voltturn I put in Landorus, Mega Scizor and Scarf Tapu Koko. I put in Greninja with Spikes because I felt that the team could need Spikes support, especially for Zapdos getting a kill guaranteed. The Evs on Scarf Tapu Koko are for Volcarona with 136 EVs in Attack I knock out Volcarona at +1 100% of the time. At last I put in Manaphy on to the team with the Wacan Berry. I felt like I was weak to Electric types so that is why I have that lure. To get a kill after manaphy is at +3 and an Electric types is trying to kill it.

Static > Pressure Zapdos, Zapdos only needs Pressure when running defog

Adamant 84 att. evs on Mega Scizor allow pursuit to Ohko a Latios switching out

I really want to use this Manaphy because I want to try out the Z-Rain Dance with an OU setup.. I saw this Manaphy on this thread, but it has Aegislash on it so I won't be able to use it in the OU tier... Will it be okay if you give me a set of Pokemon to go with this Z-Rain Dance Manaphy?

Check your profile I made one quick

I really want to make a team consisting of Mega Manectric, Jolteon, and Tapu Koko, but I only have the set readied for MegaMan.
Do you guys have any idea who I can put in addition to my team? And recommended sets?

Manectric @ Manectite
Ability: Lightningrod
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Overheat
- Hidden Power Ice

This would appreciate a really good Ground check, and I was wondering if either Mamo or Weavile would be good choices for the role?
