Welcome to the first PU 1v1 Tournament! To quote the ORAS 1v1 thread: 1v1 is a very simple metagame in which two Pokemon square off against each other to decide a winner. In a metagame without teammates, a Pokémon needs to rely on its own traits, and the strategy of its trainer, to win battles.

The metagame is based on ORAS PU (duh), so all challenges will be in the PU tier. All games will be best 2 out of 3 (Bo3) due to the fast nature of these games. However, since ORAS 1v1 (for all intents and purposes) doesn't exist anymore, PS! only allows you to choose a lead, and you can't choose to only bring one Pokemon, this is how the 1v1 aspect will work.
1. Bring your team of three Pokemon. If you bring more than three, that will be treated as a game loss. This may seem harsh, but if it wasn't a game loss, people could potentially "accidentally" bring more than three, learning what team their opponent has and giving them an unfair advantage. I will not be forgiving on accidents, even if they were genuine accidents - be careful about choosing your team and you'll be fine.
2. Choose your lead. Your opponent will do the same.
3. Battle it out between these leads alone. If you switch, again, it will constitute a game loss since you gain an unfair advantage (learning what your opponent's sets are.) Please be careful not to misclick here either.
4. Whoever KOs the opponent's lead first wins that game. The loser then forfeits, and the players go to g2/g3.

- Pairings are random.
- Replays are required. If there's a dispute and there are no replays provided, my judgement be to replay the match. Extensions will not be given to people who fail to provide replays, matches will be coinflipped if need be.
- On the topic of extensions: I will give them, but only if you tell me before the deadline you will need one. Telling me the day after the deadline that you need an extension will result in a coinflip or an activity win.
- This is a fun tour, so remember to have fun and not be ubercompetitive.
