Nasty Plot with 127 Sp.Atk and 121 Speed? Yes, please. Draco Meteor, Sludge Bomb for STAB and Heat Wave for Steel seem good enough

Typing is a decent check to Koko, Bulu but horrendous bulk offset that ...

Barren movepool otherwise though. Hoping it would get some decent ones from TMs

EDIT: spoiler in thread title again. Official media hasnt revealed names and THE EVOLUTION yet

Despite having the lowest BST of any UB, Naganadel might just be one of the best. Poison/Dragon STAB with Fire coverage is great, and it can set up Nasty Plot + abuse Beast Boost speed boosts to sweep/clean easy. Really looking forward to using this Pokémon a lot.

121, strangely enough, isn't a prime number because it's divisible by 11. Anyway, Naganadel has a high chance of wrecking UU or OU with Poison, Dragon, and Fire coverage. It's only walled by Heatran, unless Nasty Plot-boosted Draco Meteors can muscle through the Lava Dome Pokémon.

Latios and Gengar are grinding their gears in envy given what Naganadel happens to have.

A much better Speed tier than the crowded 110, a STAB that can take out fairies, a better coverage move to take out Steels, being able to get Speed boosts off Beast Boost with just a Timid nature... and Nasty Plot of all things.

I wouldn't like to jump too soon but its tendency to get revenged or forced out offensively will be the only things that can keep this thing in OU because it hits HARD.

It's only walled by Heatran, unless Nasty Plot-boosted Draco Meteors can muscle through the Lava Dome Pokémon.
Not Draco Meteor, but Devastating Drake off it takes a huge chunk out of Heatran.

+2 252 SpA Naganadel Devastating Drake (195 BP) vs. 248 HP / 220+ SpD Heatran: 222-261 (57.6 - 67.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
+2 252 SpA Naganadel Draco Meteor vs. 248 HP / 220+ SpD Heatran: 148-174 (38.4 - 45.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Naganadel Draco Meteor vs. 248 HP / 220+ SpD Heatran: 74-87 (19.2 - 22.5%) -- possible 5HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

+2 252 SpA Naganadel Devastating Drake (195 BP) vs. 212 HP / 0 SpD Heatran: 297-351 (78.9 - 93.3%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
+2 252 SpA Naganadel Draco Meteor vs. 212 HP / 0 SpD Heatran: 198-234 (52.6 - 62.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Naganadel Draco Meteor vs. 212 HP / 0 SpD Heatran: 99-117 (26.3 - 31.1%) -- 100% chance to 4HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

Any Heatran is 2HKOed by a +2 Devastating Drake followed by a +2 Draco Meteor after SR... and the Substitute set can be OHKOed with just rocks.

Stall naturally has a better chance against Naganadel but it pretty much goes as "Don't let Chansey switch into a +2 Devastating Drake".

+2 252 SpA Naganadel Devastating Drake (195 BP) vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Eviolite Chansey: 397-468 (56.4 - 66.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
+2 252 SpA Naganadel Draco Meteor vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Eviolite Chansey: 265-313 (37.6 - 44.5%) -- 3.1% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

I assume the following set will be all it needs.

Naganadel @ Dragonium Z
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Draco Meteor
- Sludge Wave
- Fire Blast (Flamethrower in case Fire Blast gets no notable KOs)

They completely gave up on the prime number thing... makes them lose some character/flavor.
Could be a mistake as all other new Ultra Beasts have prime numbers in their base stats.

But with a BST of 540 the only change I could see for prime numbers is taking 2 off Attack, Defense and Special Defense and adding 6 to Speed.

73/71/71/127/71/127.

And if it feels unfair, the two prime numbers closest to 121 are 113 and 127, so this actually involves changing the stats the least.

+2 Z-Draco kills offensive Tran, but I'd prefer dragon pulse for reliable STAB.

I think this thing could also run a killer scarf set. With Modest, it'll be getting SpA boosts after a kill but still running at a pretty great speed tier. RIP Nihilego.

At some point it becomes too difficult to give the stats you want. I don't think one stat not being a prime number fucks it up completely.

Don’t forget that this thing gets U-turn, meaning Specs with Draco/Sludge/Fire move/U-turn is totally viable. You could also run this thing with Magnezone and then run HP Ground for Tran. That way you can just trap and kill Ferrothorn, Celesteela and the like and KO Heatran yourself, though I don’t think it’s necessary.

Well well, I think this mon will have a spot in OU for sure. Great speed, good SpA, Nasty Plot, Beast Boost, Fire coverage and the Z-Moves nukes from Dragonium or Firium Z if you want bop AV Magearna, which can be OHKOed by Inferno Overdrive at +2, but this leaves you hard checked by Heatran. It can run Specs with U-turn, gaining momentum from predicted Heatran/Mage/Chansey switch-ins. Things I like from this mon and can give it a solid niche in OU

1.- Its capabilities of breaking through most common defensive cores in CelePexClef and any variations, making it have a really good balance matchup. Also, its good matchup against more offensive builds, given the chance to setup and get a KO. This is mainly for Beast Boost, boosting its Speed, making common revenge killers like Scarf Lati@s, Lele, Keldeo and Chomp unable to revenge kill, the only shit who can revenge kill this at +1 is scarf protean ninja.

4 SpA Protean Greninja Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Naganadel: 258-306 (89.8 - 106.6%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO

2.- Absorb TSpikes is just great in this meta, nothing to say.
3.- Good sinergy with most U-turn and Volt Switch users, they give safe switch-ins, also koko and fat landot lures in deffensive grass-types who this mon can setup or fire off dracos/fblast to soften up shit like tran or mage for latter.
4.- Good Lele partner mainly for soften up steels and it enjoys psychic terrain, as some strong priority can pick it off like zyg's espeed, mscizor's bullet, weavile and mamo's ice shard and another priority.

in the other hand, its poor bulk doesn't let it switch into threats it checks, needing more team support. Also, it can be somewhat predictable, but after all, i think this mon will make its splash in the tier for sure.

I'm kind of worried about this actually rising to Ubers. Its stats (slightly lower pretty much all around, but close enough) and the fact that it has Nasty Plot remind me a lot of Darkrai, but then it snowballs like a MF due to Beast Boost. And despite being pretty trash Darkrai is still in Ubers, so...

Garchomp seems like it will be a nice offensive partner for this beast. Get heatran out of the way and clean up.
Actually, you nailed it in your profile picture and signature. The best partner would probably be CB Tar. Heatran isn't staying in to die to Garchomp and most teams have good answers to Garchomp anyway. However, Heatran is dented hard by CB Pursuit and you can use TTar to chip it to the point where it'll die to Z-Draco.

Damn that would actually work too. I've never actually used banded tar before due to it's shit speed. Now I might go for it once the games come out.

I might just be a dreamer but I feel like this pokemon will be extremely good in the coming meta. It forms a great offensive core with so many pokemon such as t-tar, lele, lando, gear, gren, etc.. (the list goes on and on). It has so much going for it in high speed and special attack, strong offensive typing in poison and dragon, solid move pool with access to u-turn and coverage in fire blast and t-bolt, a great snowball potential in beast boost, and a solid boosting move in nasty plot. I can't think of a way this mon doesn't accomplish something for your team. If this thing wasn't checked by heatran(hardly even checks) and able to revenge killed by gren, weavile, m-zam, and most scarfers, I'd believe it to be too strong for ou to handle. Even with these checks, it might be too much. Probably my new favorite ub and I can't wait to abuse the stale old celepex metagame with it.

I was thinking this thing was basically just a slightly stronger Salazzle but it's actually pretty good. It's defenses are bad but they aren't terrible and it has some decent resistances. A lot of walls can't do much back to it and those that can are either OHKO'd or heavily chunked.

This is so flames. Given it comes in freely on a lot of stuff given its resistances, like on a Pex or a Ferro (since oftentimes they don't run Gyro, preferring Whip + Knock), can really be a potent sweeper with a speed boosting speed boost with np and dragonium or a breaker with a SpAtk boosting beast boost specs set. Heck, I may see even a scarf set being ran.
Personally though I believe that its best set will be set-up with Z, since it's annoying to be choice locked when a lot of common mons are immune to poison and dragon.
Poison/Dragon/Fire coverage is so cool.
Man, I'm so hyped for this.

This won't last long in OU at all as even Chansey can't tank its onslaught. Nasty Plot with Z-Draco Meteor straight up annihilate slower teams. Faster teams won't ẹnjoy facing this either as Beast Boost allows it to boost it speed so byebye scrafer (Greninja, the only Scarfer faster than this at +1 DOES NOT guanrantee to kill this AT ALL). Oh, and Weavile Life Orb Ice Shard doesn't OHKO after rocks.

I think "it won't last long in OU" it's exaggerating it. Moreover it's really frail:

252 Atk Choice Band Weavile Ice Shard vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Dragalge: 240-284 (83.6 - 98.9%) -- 75% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

252 Atk Aerilate Pinsir-Mega Quick Attack vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Dragalge: 117-138 (40.7 - 48%) -- 59% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

While it's resistances are really nice, it's sheer bulk is really underwhelming, so unless it's a weak attack I can see it really hard to come in, besides VoltTurns or after sacks.
It can pick off a weakened pex as I said, but it oftentimes carries Haze, so you're kinda useless against those. It can't do much in return besides scalding tho, but that's it. And on a frail mon which already suffers hazards a lot, every bit of chip it's important.

Is much Uber, absorb Toxic Spikes, great typing defensive for do setup, very good speed tier, good special attack, powerful STABS, and good coverage in Fire Blast and Thunderbolt, and utility in U-Turns in Choice Sets. Beast Boost give him speed when kill, then only Hawlucha and Scarf Greninja are the only mons what outspeedes it, yeah, anyone Rain Sweeper outspeedes him when is at +1.

+2 252 SpA Naganadel Devastating Drake (195 BP) vs. 248 HP / 16 SpD Scizor-Mega: 307-362 (89.5 - 105.5%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO
+4 252 SpA Naganadel Devastating Drake (195 BP) vs. 252 HP / 168 SpD Ferrothorn: 357-420 (101.4 - 119.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 SpA Naganadel Devastating Drake (195 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Toxapex: 351-414 (115.4 - 136.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 SpA Naganadel Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Magearna: 206-244 (56.5 - 67%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

0 SpA Magearna Fleur Cannon vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Naganadel: 228-268 (79.4 - 93.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Tapu Koko Dazzling Gleam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Naganadel: 204-241 (71 - 83.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Hawlucha Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Naganadel: 202-238 (70.3 - 82.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Maybe i hyped him a bit, but in paper look so scary and Uber material. Remember what checks as AV Magearna are weakened with Spikes.

Specs lele would offer solid support with psychic terrain and having the ability to destroy mega sab, chansey, and heatran with it's respective moves.
