PU Oricorio-Sensu

uploaded -zard

[OVERVIEW]

Oricorio-G possesses an amazing offensive typing that is nearly unresisted in PU and, when backed by its decent Special Attack and Speed, makes it very difficult to switch into. It can check common Psychic-, Fighting-, and Grass-types such as Mesprit, Hitmonchan, and Lilligant as a result of its typing as well as its ability in the case of the latter. As a result of its great STAB moves, the Calm Mind set is a very threatening wallbreaker that can easily dismantle defensive cores, especially when given a Flyinium Z. It's not a one-trick pony either, as its good Speed tier and access to U-turn make it a good Choice Scarf user. However its poor bulk means it can't switch in much, and it requires prediction to switch into Pokemon that it checks. A Dark-type weakness comes with vulnerability to Pursuit trapping and Knock Off, one of the most common moves in PU. While an immunity to Mach Punch is nice, it's weak to two common forms of priority in Ice Shard and Sucker Punch, though it can play around the latter if it has Substitute.

Moves
========

Calm Mind lets Oricorio-G boost its Special Attack and Special Defense, allowing it to wallbreak. Revelation Dance is a decently strong STAB attack that hits most of the tier neutrally, notably Flying-resistant Pokemon like Regirock and Lanturn. Hurricane is the second STAB move that does major damage to the Dark and Normal types that resist or are immune to Revelation Dance, even if it is a little unreliable. Substitute is the preferred option in the final slot to make Oricorio-G harder to revenge kill and give it free turns against Pokemon like Weezing, Type: Null, and Qwilfish. It also gives Oricorio-G an immunity to status and the ability to create mind games with Dark-types and other Sucker Punch users, such as Komala. Roost is an alternative option to give it recovery, increasing its longevity.

Set Details
========

Maximum Speed and Special Attack EVs are used to be as strong and fast as possible. Timid is the preferred nature to outspeed positive-natured Skuntank and Lilligant. Dancer is its only ability, and it's rather situational, but it does help discourage Lilligant from using Quiver Dance. Flyinium Z gives it a one-time powerful attack to blast though walls like Komala and to use in situations where it can't afford to miss. It also has the ability to OHKO Skuntank without a boost. If you have another Z-Move user, Leftovers can be used to give it passive recovery.

Usage Tips
========

This set shines the most against defensive teams due to its powerful, nearly unresisted STAB moves. Oricorio-G has some troubles against offensive teams, since they usually have at least one Pokemon that can outspeed it. However, it can still usually get one KO if played properly. Try to switch Oricorio-G in safely, as it can't take too many hits. Don't let it get afflicted with status conditions, since they tend to severly reduce its longevity. Set up on either a forced switch or a status move. Examples of Pokemon that can't do much against Oricorio-G and can be safely set up on include Type: Null, Miltank, and Weezing. In most circumstances, it's preferable to set up a Substitute before setting up Calm Mind. Use Supersonic Skystrike to break through an annoying wall or in a circumstance when you can't afford to miss, like against a Dark-type that threatens to OHKO Oricorio-G.

Team Options
========

As Oricorio-G is weak to Stealth Rock, entry hazard control is very important. Skuntank and Hitmonchan are good hazard removal options, as they can also take on threatening Dark-types like Absol. A Choice Scarf user like Primeape or Pyroar is helpful to deal with faster threats like Archeops and Alolan Raichu. Like most setup sweepers, Oricorio-G appreciates hazard setters like Qwilfish and Ferroseed that can weaken switch-ins. Walls to take on things that can revenge kill Oricorio-G are good to fall back on. For example, Lanturn walls Pyroar and most Electric-types, while Musharna can check Primeape. Sweepers like Lilligant, Alolan Raichu, and Carracosta also appreciate Oricorio-G's wallbreaking.

move 4: U-turn

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Revelation Dance is an spammable STAB move that hits most of the tier neutrally. Hurricane hits Dark- and Normal- types hard, but it is a little unreliable for revenge killing due to its poor accuracy. Toxic allows Oricorio-G to cripple walls such as Miltank and Lanturn that attempt to switch in. U-turn lets Oricorio-G provide its team momentum and pivot out of bad matchups.

Set Details
========

Maximum Speed and Special Attack EVs are used to be as fast as possible while still hitting hard. Timid is the preferred nature to outspeed Lilligant at +1. Dancer is Oricorio-G's only ability and can help with checking Lilligant. It has a Choice Scarf for revenge killing and pivoting.

Usage Tips
========

Like most Choice Scarf users, Oricorio-G is used to pick off weakened threats. To conserve momentum, use U-turn if you think your opponent will switch into a Pokemon that resists or walls Oricorio-G's attacks. Switch in on free switches from VoltTurn users or when a Pokemon is KOed, when a foe sets up Quiver Dance, or on predicted Fighting- and Ground-type attacks. Be careful switching in against Pokemon like Gurdurr and Hitmonchan, though, as they often carry super effective coverage. Revelation Dance is Oricorio-G's most spammable move, but be careful if your opponent has Dark- and Normal-types that can take advantage of a Choice-locked Oricorio-G. Exercise extra caution around Skuntank and Absol, which can trap and KO Oricorio-G with Pursuit. If you are unsure about which move to use, U-turn is usually a good choice, as your opponent can't usually take advantage of it.

Team Options
========

Entry hazard control is incredibly important, as Oricorio-G will want to pivot a lot. Hitmonchan and Skuntank are good choices for this. Oricorio-G pairs well with Fighting-types like Gurdurr, Primeape, and Hitmonchan, since they can threaten the Dark- and Normal-types that prevent Oricorio-G from spamming Revelation Dance. In turn, they appreciate Oricorio-G's abiltity to check Psychic- and Ghost-types like Mesprit and Gourgeist. Pokemon such as Aggron that lure in Fighting- and Ground-type moves can help give Oricorio-G free switches. Oricorio-G discourages Lilligant from using Quiver Dance by its mere presence due to Dancer, so teammates that struggle against it like Carracosta and Lanturn appreciate Oricorio-G. Pokemon like Magmortar and Drampa that can break incoming specially defensive walls like Audino and Clefairy are good partners. At least one of Oricorio-G's teammates should be able to check Skuntank; Ground-types like Gastrodon and Mudsdale are particularly good at this.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

A Choice Specs set with similar moves to the Choice Scarf set is an option for more immediate wallbreaking. Colbur Berry on the Calm Mind set lets Oricorio-G survive a Knock Off or Sucker Punch. Air Slash can be used over Toxic on the Choice Scarf set for a more accurate Flying-type STAB move. A Double Dance set with Agility / Calm Mind / Revelation Dance / Hurricane is possible, but you'll rarely be able to set up both Calm Mind and Agility. Tailwind is another option to boost Oricorio-G's Speed that can also support the teammates once Oricorio-G is revenge killed. Life Orb gives it more power, but given how quickly Oricorio-G can get worn down, it's usually not worth it. Hidden Power Fighting lets it hit Pawniard, but given that it's a niche threat, it's difficult to justify using a moveslot on.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric-types:** Manectric, Zebstrika, and Alolan Raichu all outspeed Oricorio-G and are sometimes Choice Scarf users themselves. Oricorio-G has a difficult time breaking past Lanturn and Assault Vest Eelektross, both of which threaten Oricorio-G with their STAB moves.

**Ice-types:** Abomasnow forces Oricorio-G out with a super effective STAB priority Ice Shard. Jynx can also revenge kill Calm Mind Oricorio-G, and it is often running Choice Scarf itself.

**Dark-types:** Whether by trapping it with Pursuit or hitting it with Sucker Punch, Skuntank and Absol can prove troublesome for Oricorio-G to deal with, although both are OHKOed by an unboosted Supersonic Skystrike. Pawniard merits a special mention, as it is the only PU-relevant Pokemon to resist both of Oricorio-G's STAB moves.

**Rock-types**: Although they don't appreciate switching in on a boosted Revelation Dance, Regirock, specially defensive Carracosta, and Lycanroc can all check Oricorio-G. Archeops can also check the Calm Mind set if a Substitute isn't up, but it risks being put in Defeatist range if against the Choice Scarf set.

**Faster Attackers:** Due to its poor bulk, the Calm Mind set can be beaten by Pokemon that outspeed it, especially if a Substitute is not up. Pyroar and Floatzel are two such Pokemon. Fast Choice Scarf users like Primeape can check both sets.

Hey bud, a few things:
  • Mention in the set details for scarf that it's able to outspeed +1 mons like lilli.
  • It has a base speed of 93 not 98, so you need to change this.
  • I'd specifically state that it offensively checks the mons named in the overview, as it struggles to switxh in to basically all of them.
  • I'm not sure mentioning type null as a mon that fly-z can blast through is a good idea, because orio walls the most common sd set regardless.
  • When you mention faster attackers, you don't mention that the scarf set is also to outspeed all of them. I'd mention choice scarfers like Primeape are able to check both sets.
  • Mention that pawn has to play a 50/50 vs hp fighting with the scarf set.
Seems pretty good though :)

  • "item: Flyinium Z / Colbur Berry" I think you should slash lefties, and colbur should go into other options
  • "Calm Mind lets Oricorio boost its Special Attack and Special Defense, allowing it to threaten defensive teams." it can threaten offensive teams too
  • "U-turn is another decent option in the last slot to allow it to pivot out of bad matchups." You didnt mention u-turn in the set so I dont think it goes into set comments
  • "Substitute gives Oricorio an immunity to status and the ability to force 50-50s with Dark types" more so sucker punch. ex komala has access to sucker punch but isnt a dark-type

[OVERVIEW]

  • An amazing offensive typing with nearly unresisted STABS
  • A good Speed stat of 93 you don't need any info that you would know just by looking at its stats, like the specific speed stat. just saying it has a good speed tier is sufficient
  • Checks common Psychic, Grass, and Fighting types like Mesprit, Lilligant, and Hitmonchan
  • Poor bulk compounded with weaknesses to common attacking types in Dark and Ice means it can't switch in much
  • Vulnerability to Knock Off and Pursuit trapping
  • Weakness to common priority (Sucker Punch and Ice Shard)
this doesn't rly explain its place in the meta. no mention of that it has good scarf and stallbreaking sets is a major oversight in particular

  • Hurricane is a powerful move that hits most of the Pokémon that resist/are immune to Revelation Dance.
  • Hidden Power Fighting hits Pawniard super effectively and gives Oricorio perfect coverage. change this to toxic
  • U-Turn allows Oricorio to provide its team momentum and switch out of bad matchups.

Set Details
========

  • Maximum Speed and Special Attack EVs let it be as fast as possible while still hitting hard. Timid nature allows it to outspeed Lilligant at +1.
  • Choice Scarf for revenge killing/pivoting
Usage Tips
========
  • Pick off weakened threats.
  • Use U-turn if you think your opponent will switch to a resist/wall.
  • Switch in on free switches, Quiver Dances, or predicted Fighting and Ground attacks "switch in on free switches" isn't useful information, elaborate on that
  • Be careful switching against Pokémon like Gurdurr and Hitmonchan that often carry super effective coverage.
  • Revelation Dance is its most spamable move, but be careful if your opponent has Dark or Normal types that can take advantage of a choicelocked Oricorio.
  • When in doubt, U-turn is usually a good choice. i dunno about this point, maybe if u can elaborate more

Team Options
========

  • Hazard removal lets it pivot more, Hitmonchan and Skuntank are good choices are they can take on Dark types.
  • Fighting types like Gurdurr, Primeape and the aforementioned Hitmonchan are good partners, as they can take on the Dark and Normal types that prevent it from spamming Revelation Dance. They also appreciate Oricorio's ability to check Ghost and Psychic types.
  • Pokémon that lure in Fighting and Ground types like Aggron can help give it free switches.
  • Oricorio can discourage Lilligant from using Quiver Dance, so teammates that struggle with it such as Carracosta and Lanturn appreciate Oricorio.

Moves
========

  • Calm Mind lets Oricorio boost its Special Attack and Special Defense, allowing it to threaten defensive teams.
  • Revelation Dance is a STAB that hits most of the tier neutrally.
  • Hurricane is the other STAB that does huge damage to unresisted targets.
  • Substitute gives Oricorio an immunity to status and the ability to force 50-50s with Dark types and other Sucker Punch users such as Komala. *makes it harder to revenge kill. that's the primary function of sub, the other stuff is secondary
  • Roost is an alternative option to give it recovery.
  • U-turn is another decent option in the last slot to allow it to pivot out of bad matchups.

Set Details
========

  • Max Speed and Special Attack to be as strong and fast as possible. Timid is preferred to outspeed positive-natured Skuntank and Lilligant.
  • Flyinium-Z gives it a one-time nuke to blast through walls like Komala, as well as targets it can't afford to miss against.
  • If you have another Z-move user, Leftovers gives it passive recovery.
  • Life Orb can be used for extra power at the cost of a lot of longevity. i wouldn't mention LO here, ig it's fine in other options but it's not good enough for set details

Usage Tips
========

  • This set works better vs. defensive teams due to its powerful, near unresisted STABs. It struggles a bit vs. offense, as they usually have at least one thing that can outspeed it. well vs offense it might pick up 1 kill, especially with skystrike, then go down, but vs bulkier teams it gets to shine more. the way you wrote this is just a little confused
  • Should only be switched in safely. Try not to switch it in if you can't set up a sub, unless you need to emergency check a threat like Mesprit. i don't really know what this means or how it helps. something about mons u can sub on ig but it doesn't sub on a ton and has to come in on mons that can break its subs so i don't really agree with this. i suppose not bringing this in on a status move is important, since that kinda defeats the point of subbing on mons like gastrodon
  • Set up on a forced switch or status move.
  • Use Supersonic Skystrike either to break through an annoying wall, or in a circumstance where you can't afford to miss (like against a Dark type that can 1HKO Oricorio).

Team Options
========

  • Again, hazard control is incredibly important, especially if you are using Substitute. As mentioned before, Skuntank and Hitmonchan are good options.
  • A Choice Scarf user is essential to deal with faster threats. Primeape and Pyroar are a couple of good examples.
  • Like most setup sweepers, it appreciates hazard setters like Qwilfish and Ferroseed that can weaken switchins.
  • Something that can switch in to Piloswine is important, Gurdurr and Weezing both get the job done.
oricorio likes a defensive mon like lanturn to fall back on when the revenge killer comes in (like mention more revenge killers and defensive fallbacks, that's just one example). also sweepers that like its wallbreaking should be mentioned

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

  • A Choice Specs set, with the same moves as the Choice Scarf set, is an option for more immediate wallbreaking.
  • Colbur Berry on the CM set lets it survive a Knock Off or Sucker Punch.
  • Air Slash can be used over Hurricane for better accuracy, but the drop in power is huge.
  • You can try a Double Dancer set with Agility/Calm Mind/Revelation Dance/Hurricane, but you'll rarely be able to set up. agility or tailwind imo, the latter is cool if ur gonna immediately get revenged by somth like lanturn or piloswine
  • You can use a Naïve or Hasty nature for a slightly stronger U-turn, but it won't be very strong anyway so the bulk is preferable. don't even bother mentioning this, remove
also life orb can go here since removing from set details above

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric types:** Manectric and Alolan Raichu both outspeed Oricorio and are often scarfed themselves. Oricorio has a difficult time breaking past Assault Vest Lanturn, which can deal huge damage to Oricorio with Volt Switch. zebstrika and eelektross fit neatly into the two groups above and are worth mentioning

**Ice types:** Abomasnow and Piloswine force Oricorio out with a super effective STAB priority Ice Shard. The latter is paricularly annoying as it has a chance of surviving a +1 Supersonic Skystrike and 1HKOs with Icicle Crash. also scarf jynx can revenge CM if it don't have a sub up

**Dark types:** Whether by trapping it with Pursuit or hitting it with Sucker Punch, Skuntank and Absol can prove troublesome to deal with. Pawniard merits special mention as it is the only PU relevant Pokémon to resist both of its STABs. It can't switch in to sets with Hidden Power Fighting, though. u can remove the HP fighting part, it's just really bad on corio

**Faster attackers:** Due to its poor bulk, the Calm Mind set can be beaten by Pokémon that outspeed it, especially if a Substitute is not up. Charizard, Archeops, and Floatzel are three such Pokémon. Fast scarfers like Primeape can check both sets.

1/3 once you implement the stuff in the reply

i'd like to propose for calm mind to be the first set and scarf the second set, scarf has its uses but it's a lot more easily pressured by skuntank, whereas calm mind can not only play around that and other pursuit/sucker punch users, but it also take advantage of a lot of relevant pokemon such as miltank (they usually can't touch miltank w/ out toxic), defensive mesprit, type null, weezing, qwilfish, and gastrodon. scarf also lacks the wallbreaking potential that cm brings to the table, while z-hurricane gives it a nuke that can ohko skuntank and break through special walls in ways that scarf cannot. it also retains the utility of checking lilligant. overall this is just the more prominent set for oricorio, and should be emphasized as such.

  • An amazing offensive typing with nearly unresisted STABS
  • A good Speed tier
  • Checks common Psychic, Grass, and Fighting types like Mesprit, Lilligant, and Hitmonchan
  • These traits in conjunction with access to U-turn make it a great scarfer
  • Not a one trick pony either, as Calm Mind set can easily break down defensive teams (in conjunction with its z move, which is the main thing it uses to break)
  • Poor bulk compounded with weaknesses to common attacking types in Dark and Ice means it can't switch in much, even to things it checks
  • Vulnerability to Knock Off and Pursuit trapping
  • Weakness to common priority (Sucker Punch and Ice Shard) (these last 3 points could really just be merged into one tbh, they talk about the same thing)

SWITCH THIS SET WITH THE SECOND! we've agreed that cm is currently the better set.

[OVERVIEW]

Oricorio possesses an amazing offensive typing, which is nearly unresisted in PU, making it very difficult to switch in to especially when backed with decent speed and special attack. It can check common Psychic, Fighting, and Grass types such as Mesprit, Hitmonchan, and Lilligant as a result of its typing and ability in Lilligant's case. As a result of its great STABs, the Calm Mind set is a very threatening wallbreaker that can easily dismantle defensive cores, especially when given a Flyinium Z. It's not a one-trick pony either, as its good speed tier and access to U-Turn makes it a good scarfer. However, it's not without its flaws. It has very poor bulk, (bulk is poor but not very poor) which means it can't switch in much, even to things that it checks well it can still switch-in to the stuff it checks, but it often requires prediction. A Dark weakness comes with vulnerability to Pursuit trapping and Knock Off, one of the most common moves in PU. While an immunity to Mach Punch is nice, it's weak to two common forms of priority in Ice Shard and Sucker Punch, though it can play around the latter if it has Substitute.

Max Speed and Special Attack EVs are used to be as strong and fast as possible. Timid is the preferred nature to outspeed positive-natured Skuntank and Lilligant. Dancer is its only ability. It's rather situational, but it does help discorage Lilligant from using Quiver Dance. Flyinium-Z gives it a one-time nuke to blast though walls like Komala, as well as in situations where it can't afford to miss. It also has the ability to 1HKO Skuntank without a boost. If you have another Z-move user, Leftovers can be used to give it passive recovery.

Usage Tips
========

This set shines the most against defensive teams due to its powerful, nearly unresisted STABs. It has some troubles against offensive teams, since they usually have at least one thing that can outspeed it. However, it can still usually get one kill if played properly. Try to switch it in safely, as it can't take too many hits. Don't let it get hit by status conditions, since they tend to severly reduce its longevity. Set up either on a forced switch or a status move. Examples of Pokémon that can't do much against Oricorio-G and can be safely set up on include Type: Null, Miltank, and Weezing. In most circumstances, it's preferable to set up a substitute before setting up Calm Mind. Use Supersonic Skystrike to break through an annoying wall or in a circumstance when you can't afford to miss (like against a Dark type that threatens to 1HKO Oricorio-G).

Team Options
========

As it is weak to Stealth Rock, hazard control is very important. Skuntank and Hitmonchan are good options, as they can also take on threatening Dark types like Absol. A Choice Scarf user like Primeape or Pyroar is helpful to deal with faster threats like Archeops and Raichu-Alola. Like most setup sweepers, it appreciates hazard setters like Qwilfish and Ferroseed that can weaken switchins. Something that can switch in to and threaten Piloswine is important; Gurdurr and Weezing both get the job done. Gurdurr and Weezing are also good Dark-type checks. Walls are very good to fall back on once Oricorio-G is revenged. Rather than saying "once it is revenged", I would say to use bulky pokemon to take on the stuff that revenge kills Oricorio-G For example, Lanturn walls Pyroar and most Electric types, while Musharna can check Primeape. And of course, sweepers like Lilligant, Raichu-Alola, and Carracosta apreciate Oricorio-G's wallbreaking.

Revelation Dance is an extremely (extremely is an exaggeration in Skunk meta) spamable STAB move that hits most of the tier neutrally. Hurricane is a powerful move that hits Dark and Normal types hard mention miss chance makes it unreliable at revenge killing. Toxic allows Oricorio-G to cripple walls such as Miltank and Lanturn that attempt to switch in. U-Turn lets Oricorio-G provide its team momentum and pivot out of bad matchups.

Maximum Speed and Special Attack to be as fast as possible while still hitting hard. Timid is the preferred nature to outspeed Lilligant at +1. Again, Dancer is its only ability that helps with checking Lilligant. It has a Choice Scarf for revenge killing and pivoting.

Usage Tips
========

Like most scarfers, it's used to pick off weakened threats. To conserve momentum, use U-turn if you think your opponent will switch into a resist or wall. Switch in on free switches (though VoltTurn or after one of your Pokémon is killed), Quiver Dances, or predicted Fighting and Ground attacks. Be careful switching against Pokémon like Gurdurr and Hitmonchan, though, as they often carry super effective coverage. Revelation Dance is its most spamable move, but be careful if your opponent has Dark or Normal types that can take advantage of a choicelocked Oricorio-G. Exercise extra caution around Skuntank and Absol, which can trap and kill Oricorio with Pursuit. If you are unsure about which move to use, U-turn is usually a good choice as your opponent can't usually take advantage of it.

Team Options
========

Again, hazard control is incredibly important, perhaps more so with this set as it will want to pivot a lot. As mentioned before, Hitmonchan and Skuntank are good choices. It pairs well with Fighting types like Gurdurr, Primeape, and the aforementioned Hitmonchan, since they can threaten the Dark and Normal types that prevent Oricorio-G from spamming Revelation Dance. In turn, they apreciate Oricorio-G's abiltity to check Psychic and Ghost types like Mesprit and Gourgeist. Pokémon that lure in Fighting and Ground type moves like Aggron can help give it free switches. Oricorio-G discourages Lilligant from using Quiver Dance by its mere presence, so teammates that struggle against it like Carracosta and Lanturn appreciate Oricorio-G. Pokémon that can break incoming Specially Defensive walls like Audino and Clefairy, like Acid Spray Skuntank, are good partners. I'd mention something strong like Magmortar or Drampa instead, Acid Spray Skunk is more of an annoyance that can be played around. At least one of Oricorio-G's teammates should be able to check Skuntank, Ground types like Piloswine are particularly good at this.

Other Options
=============

A Choice Specs set with the same (similar, not same, since Specs doesn't really need Toxic and would prefer Air Slash instead) moves as the Choice Scarf set is an option for more immediate wallbreaking. Colbur Berry on the CM set lets it survive a Knock Off or Sucker Punch. Air Slash can be used over Hurricane for better accuracy, but the drop in power is huge. Air Slash is an option over Toxic on Choice Scarf, not over Hurricane. A Double Dancer set with Agility/Calm Mind/Revelation Dance/Huricane is possible, but you'll rarely be able to set this up. Tailwind is another option to boost its speed, as it can also support the teammates once Oricorio-G is revenged. Life Orb gives it more power, but given how quickly Oricorio can get worn down it's usually not worth it. Hidden Power Fighting lets it hit Pawniard, but given that it's a niche threat it's difficult to justify using a move slot on.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric types:** Manectric, Zebstrika, and Alolan Raichu all outspeed Oricorio-G and are sometimes scarfed themselves. Oricorio-G has a difficult time breaking past Assault Vest Lanturn and Assault Vest Eelektross, both of which threaten Oricorio-G with their STABs. All Lanturn sets are tough for Oricorio to break

**Ice types:** Abomasnow and Piloswine force Oricorio-G out with a super effective STAB priority Ice Shard. The latter is paricularly annoying as it has a chance of surviving a +1 Supersonic Skystrike and 1HKOs with Icicle Crash. Scarf Jynx can also revenge kill Oricorio-G. It doesn't need Scarf to revenge kill non-Scarf Oricorio

**Dark types:** Whether by trapping it with Pursuit or hitting it with Sucker Punch, Skuntank and Absol can prove troublesome to deal with although both are OHKO'd by Supersonic Skystrike. Pawniard merits special mention as it is the only PU relevant Pokémon to resist both of its STABs.

Your call, but Rock-types can possibly have a section. Regirock is a counter, while Cradily and Carracosta are checks. On the offensive side, Lycanroc and Archeops can both revenge it

**Faster attackers:** Due to its poor bulk, the Calm Mind set can be beaten by Pokémon that outspeed it, especially if a Substitute is not up. Archeops, Pyroar, and Floatzel are three such Pokémon. Fast scarfers like Primeape can check both sets.

Good work here. Some of the language is a bit too casual, but GP can fix that.

[OVERVIEW]

Oricorio-G possesses an amazing offensive typing, (RC) which that is nearly unresisted in PU, which, when backed by its decent Special Attack and Speed, makes it very difficult to switch in to into. It can check common Psychic-(AH), Fighting-(AH), and Grass-(AH)types such as Mesprit, Hitmonchan, and Lilligant as a result of its typing as well as its ability in the case of the latter. As a result of its great STAB moves, the Calm Mind set is a very threatening wallbreaker that can easily dismantle defensive cores, especially when given a Flyinium Z. It's not a one-trick pony either, as its good Speed tier and access to U-turn makes it a good scarfer Choice Scarf user. However, it's not without its flaws. it has poor bulk, which means it can't switch in much, and it requires prediction to switch in to into things that it checks.

It also gives it Oricorio-G an immunity to status and the ability to force 50-50s create mind games with Dark-(AH)types and other Sucker Punch users, (AC) (such as Komala). Roost is an alternative option to give it recovery. (how does this help oricorio?)
