Slate 9: Blades and Borders
:ss/zamazenta::ss/dragapult::ss/Corviknight:

We are in the home stretch now - threats have been established, most mainstream playstyles like Balance, Offense and Bulky Offense have cemented their top players. Take advantage of what Gen 8 provides and let's flesh out some of the more niche playstyles currently around!

In this slate, you can submit and vote for up to seven Pokémon from Generation 8.
A new rule for submissions! Every sub has to explain what they do in the meta or what their purpose is in the meta and, optionally, provide interactions with exsiting Pokemon, which can consist of cores, checking or being checked by exisiting Pokemon. You can still include flavour, but competitive insights have to be provided.

Please be reminded, that all of the Pokémon introduced in Legends Arceus count as Generation 8 Pokémon. Do with that information what you will.

Jumping right into the FINAL Multiverse slate, hopefully this wraps up our meta and brings it in a great conclusion.

Slate 10: The End of All Things
:ss/great-tusk::ss/gholdengo::ss/iron-valiant:

This is the final slate, and what a slate to end it on! Generation 9 has been one of the most controversial competitive Pokemon generations in the last decade, thanks to hard commiting to movexit and the ever potent Terastilization. Let's end Multiverse with a bang!

In this slate, you can submit and vote for up to seven Pokémon from Generation 9.

:ss/Iron-treads:
Pokémon: Iron Treads
Niche: SV OU
Stats: 90 HP / 112 Atk / 120 Def / 72 SpA / 70 SpD / 106 Spe | BST: 570
Type:
Bug
Ground

Abilities: Quark Drive
New Moves: Headlong Rush, Knock Off, Encore
Removed Moves: N/A
Descriptions: Serves as an excellent offensive pivot, hazard lead and potential speed control option with Booster Energy. Granted Headlong Rush for the extra damage versus many key threats in the metagame like recently added Samurott-Hisui, while Encore and Knock Off help it out vastly in matchups like Ho-oh
Threatens: :Heatran::gardevoir::gengar::weezing-galar::enamorus::whimsicott:
Checks and Counters: :quagsire::ho-oh::donphan::floatzel:

:ss/Miraidon:

Niche: SV Ubers
Stats: 90 HP / 76 Atk / 90 Def / 95 SpA / 115 SpD / 109 Spe | BST: 575
Type:
Bug
Ground

Abilities: Electric Surge
New Moves: N/A
Removed Moves: Overheat
Descriptions: Miraidon can be best described as a powerful wallbreaker, sitting at a solid 109 speed tier, which curiously would make it the slowest offensive Electric to be prevalent in the tier (Electivire is 110, Luxray is 116 and Magneton hits 120). Calm Mind, offensive pivot sets and even choiced variants can all go hard versus the tier.

Pokemon: Toedscool (:eviolite: incompatible)
Niche: SV LC
Type: Ground/Dark
Abilities:
Water Absorb
Stats: 80/70/80/85/120/105 (540)
Movepool Changes:
+Dark Pulse, Night Slash, Hypnosis, Synthesis
-Spore
Description: Gives us a decent support/hazard control mon, with fast Hypnosis, Rapid Spin, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Knock Off and Leech Seed, and a specially defensive Ground-type, something we currently do not have, and the change of its Grass type to Dark represents its use of Knock Off, but its mainly to scape how bad it is defensively, but has Water Absorb to represent the neutrality it had to Water types before, it can also use STAB Foul Play to scare off some physical wallbreakers like Caly-Ice and Aegislash from taking advantage of its low physdef. It can take on the likes of Glowbro, Dragalge, Nihilego, Silv-Water, and can force out Floatzel if its choice locked onto Wave Crash.

:sv/Tinkaton:
Pokemon: Tinkaton
Niche: SV OU
Type: Fairy/Steel
Abilities:
Mold Breaker | Magician
Stats: 85/90/77/70/105/94 (521)
Movepool Changes:
+Fleur Cannon
-none
Description: Very solid support mon, with an amazing type, good stats and a great movepool, with moves like Encore, Knock Off, Thunder Wave, Stealth Rock, and screens, and still has Gigaton Hammer as a viable option to do immediate damage, and now its even stronger due to the Atk buffs it recieved, also has Magician instead of Pickpocket due to its use of Air Ballon with Pickpocket, now it can use stuff like Eject Pack with Ice Hammer or STAB Fleur Cannon to steal an item from the opponent, or still go with Air Balloon. Mons like Caly-Ice, Gardevoir, Enam, Kleavor and Regirock cant do much against it while Tinkaton demolishes them with Gigaton Hammer, and mons like Lanturn, Quag, or Starmie would not like when their Leftovers or HDB are taken from them, it does not like to be burnt, so it cant switch in very reliably against Solrock, Cofagrigus, Gengar or Weez-G.

:sv/squawkabilly-blue:
Pokemon: Squawkabilly
Niche: SV PU
Type: Flying
Abilities:
Intimidate
Stats: 82/113/86/45/86/93 (505)
Movepool Changes:
+
Dragon Ascent, Recover, Refresh
- Roost
Description: Based on its pivot set, offensive Intimidate pivot, with amazing STAB moves on Brave Bird or Dragon Ascent, coming off a decent 113atk, it also has some good utility on Parting Shot or U-Turn to pivot, Taunt, Refresh, which kinda emulates its use of Guts on its other sets, making it ignore status conditions, and Recover to heal up. Hitmontop is an amazing ally for Squawkabilly, as both work great as an Intimidate-spamming pair, both complement each other's types, and Hitmontop can eliminate the hazards that may bother Squawkabilly, while Squawkabilly can switch into status moves and heal them off with Refresh, other Pokemon that can help of benefit Squawkabilly are Hypno, where Squawk can fend off phys attackers and Hypno special ones, and their types complement each other well, Nihilego, where Squark can soften physical attackers so Nihilego has an easier time sweeping, and again their types complement each others well, and it can take on mons like Cacturne, Machamp, Serperior and Whimsicott.

Protean Exept the type change has +3 priority. Once per switchin.

New Moves: Moonlight, Acid Armor, Liquidation,
Removed Moves: None
Description: it’s teraing time and I will Tera all over the place said garganacl. This would provide not only a garganacl but an effective versatile wall that fits different situations, such as being able to “Tera” to be able to wall mons like garchomp by using moonlight. Provides a good bulk piece that I feel we don’t really have. It gets a bit more bulk to compensate for the choice in between the abilities, but you can have acid armor to be a poison type

Stats: 90 / 116 / 100 / 85 / 100 / 109
Type: Fighting / Dragon
Abilities: Drought
New Moves: N/A
Removed Moves: Scale Shot, Swords Dance

Descriptions: These changes were made to Koraidon to allow a sun setter into the tier, without a lot of the bullshit that makes Koraidon overpowered in Ubers. With Scale Shot and Swords Dance removed, Koraidon's best Ubers set in this context is going to be Choice Scarf, which is not hitting nearly as hard due to the exchange of Orichalcum Pulse for Drought, along with a raw attack nerf. Koraidon can still run setup through Bulk Up, but this takes a lot longer to get going then clicking a single button and threatening a 6-0. Speed is put at a trolly 109 speed tier, so outspeed by the crowded 110 base speed tier.

Tera Shell clone, but only works once per switch-in.
New Moves: Iron Defense
Removed Moves: Taunt, Trailblaze

Descriptions: Slight stat reductions in a non-Tera meta should bring Bursa into the power level. It can, however, choose to forgo Mind's Eye, a great signature on its own, in favor of Lunar Gift, a (nerfed) Tera Shell clone to help represent its tendency to Tera out of super effective attacks. The restriction of only once per switch in helps prevent Ursa from doing stupid Multiscale things, as it keeps its access to reliable recovery.

New Moves: N/A
Removed Moves: Revival Blessing
Description: Love me some OTR. Ground typing since it would rather be Ground than Psychic in most cases. Ability allows it to pull off revives consistently, and maybe bring in another TR Sweeper with Memento, name is a reference to Ra. Can tank Yanmega's Aeroblast, I think.

Type: Electric
Abilities: Electromorphosis/Static/Water Absorb
New Moves: Surf, Dazzling Gleam, Clear Smog, Thunderjolt
Removed Moves: N/A
Description: Mr Belli is a tanky boy, having eaten thousands of physical hits across three different tiers. Water Absorb to replace Damp to give it a third useful ability while still being thematic, added moves represent the Tera types it usually goes for and Surf is a more accurate alternative to Muddy Water. Lanturn side-grade that has better physical bulk and recovery in exchange for no second STAB or Fire/Ice resistance. Thunderjolt to really punish getting hit.
