Move type frequency (UU edition)

I'm sorry it took almost 2 days after OU and Ubers to upload this, but I had some issues in real life, so forgive me please^^

As the other threads in their respective subforums, this chart aim to outline how much a single type is used in the UU metagame. For example, we all know from X-Act that, in October, Fire Blast was used 3,66% of the time (or, at least, there is the answer!). But, I wonder, how much was a Special Fire move used in October, for example? Read below to know the answer.

Since I did the same for OU and Ubers, the stats below cover the last three months, separately (August, September and October). You will notice how Yanmega demise affected the stats immensely from September to October, but nonetheless I find it could be interesting to find out these differences anyway.

One last thing. Since their damage is pretty negligible, I took Rapid Spin and Knock Off out of the list. I also excluded Weather Ball since it is pratically impossible to aknowledge the type it was in each battle

Enjoy.

Thank you very much for compiling these zarator!

Physical Normal: Explosion, Return, Fake Out, Extremespeed, Facade, Quick Attack, Double-Edge, Body Slam, Double Hit, Flail, Frustration, Headbutt
Looks like at least one person used Dunsparce in October. =P

Yuggles

hey that second guy isn't too bad
Very surprised that the top 4 are all (by a long shot,) physical. Especially since there's more physical walls than Special ones..

the meta took a huge shift. It is really physically oriented... or at least it was. Its kind of leveling out a bit more now imo.

I'm surprised that Physical Normal moves are #1, really, considering Mismagius and Registeel are #1 and #2 in usage...

Well Registeel uses physical attacks, so that shouldn't be too much of a surprise. On top of that, the metagame shown by the stats is a mix of two metagames (Yanmega and the metagame with the 6 new drop ins). With the addition of Gallade and Raikou in particular, using special moves is pretty risky (Gallade's high SpD and Raikou's CMs).

I think X-Act didnt refer to the fact that these Pokémon use special moves (Registeel doesnt for the most part), but that Mismagius is immune to it and Registeel resists it (Normal-type that is)

Agreeing on the rest though.

Thx for the stats.

Stats are pretty much how I expected them to be, albeit water still seems like it should be a bit higher on both sides of the spectrum to me.

I agree, though the plethora of Rain Dance teams does make using Water-type attacks (and other moves) more appealing.
