Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Seismic Toss
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave

Meloetta @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 40 Atk / 252 SpA / 216 Spe (if u-turn) or 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe (if trick)
Hasty/Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt/Energy Ball
- U-turn/Trick

Mega Lopunny finds itself walled by common physical/mixed walls in the metagame, such as Skarmory, Mandibuzz, Slowbro and fighting/normal resistant Pokémon. It is also outsped and easily revenge killed by faster/scarfed threats. Scarf Meloetta is an excellent partner to the bunny, being able to 2HKO some physically defensive walls with STAB Psychic + coverage moves or to cripple(Trick)/wear down(U-turn) mixed defensive walls that both struggle to break. It can outspeed and revenge kill +1 Mega Gyarados, Scarf Heracross, other M-Lop's, M-Beedrill, M-Aero, Scarf Hoopa-U(if u-turn) and more, as well as being capable of living a hit from scarf keldeo/terrakion and killing back in return, all of those being offensive threats to bunny. In return, M-Lop tanks Dark-type moves (like the ubiquitous knock off) for Meloetta, making them have a rather nice synergy type-wise.

Diggersby @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Return
- Quick Attack
- Wild Charge

Diggersby proves itself to be a great partner for Mega-Lopunny being able to physically wallbreak effectively and lower down / kill Mega-Lopunny's checks and counters. It also works as a Skarmory lure with Wild Charge and easily kills Doublade making it a lot easier for Mega-Lopunny to clean up steel (HJK fails to OHKO Doublade of course and it retaliates with Secret Sword). Being able to take down Skarmory on Flying is also very beneficial for Mega-Lopunny as Ice Punch variants find it much easier to beat entire Flying-type teams with Skarmory out of the way. Diggersby and Mega-Lopunny pretty much share the same counters, and Choice Band Diggersby can easily lower other walls like Hippowdon down to let Mega-Lopunny cleam much easily.

252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Diggersby Wild Charge vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Skarmory: 216-256 (64.6 - 76.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Diggersby Earthquake vs. 240 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Doublade: 300-354 (94 - 110.9%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO

Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Recover
- Thunder Wave
- Ice Beam
- Discharge

Porygon2 Helps Mega Lopunny by slowing down threats With twave and being able to switch into some powerful hits from the likes of scarf terakion, Lando-T and other various threats to mega lopunny.

Week 9

Magnezone
Type: Steel

Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Flash Cannon
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Posting Deadline: July 30
Voting Deadline: August 1

Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Roost
- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite
- Swords Dance

Takes Ground and Fighting moves for Magnezone and is the physical setup sweeper. Great synergy with magnezone due to volt switch, and magnet pull on magnezone takes out a wall named skarmory for mega scizor. Magnezone also deals with mixed garchomps. And once magnezone takes care of scizors walls, scizor can setup for a sweep.

Heatran @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Stone Edge
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Taunt

Flash Fire's pretty nice. So is immunity to Ground with 1 of 99 red balloons. Coverage for stall mons, special walls, etc.

Skarmory@Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Nature Impish
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes

Skarmory is a good pair with Magnezone because it is immune to ground which is mags main weakness also mags helps skarm by being able to switch into electric moves which no flying mon appreciates (besides flying ground mons).

Excadrill @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- Rapid Spin

Excadrill benefits greatly from Magnezone's ability to trap and OHKO Skarmory as well as safely Volt Switch on Heatran to break its Air Balloon, something that allows Excadrill to sweep opposing Steel- and Flying-type teams with ease. The double Choice Scarf can work as an offensive core that can hit on both sides of the spectrum as Excadrill manages to beat most specially defensive walls that trouble Magnezone and vice versa.
