Monotype Mono Water Special Based

Kingdra @ Leftovers
Ability: Swift Swim
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Signal Beam
- Dragon Pulse

Kingdra's my main attacker so I added lots of special moves, STABs like Hydro Pump and Dragon pulse are probably best, but recommendations are helpful. Leftovers help recovery

Manaphy @ Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rain Dance
- Heal Bell
- Tail Glow
- Scald

Manaphy is my main supporter, immediately switching after rain dance so kingdra's faster. then it'll be stronger with a 4x SpA boost then scald for a burn

Toxapex @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
- Baneful Bunker
- Knock Off
- Toxic Spikes
- Venom Drench

Toxapex would be able to set up hazards and use knock off to get rid of items, or in my case, mostly get mimikyu out of a disguise.

Keldeo-Resolute @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Justified
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Surf
- Calm Mind

Keldeo has a pretty good SpA and Secret Sword only attacks Def. but is a SpA move so that's a plus. Fightium z helps because it's boosted by the secret sword, but also can take off some of its weaknesses.

Rotom-Wash @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sucker Punch
- Thunder
- Defog

Rotom was tricky but I thought of using thunder in the rain, and in case too many hazards are up a defog would help. Sucker punch can take out some faster foes, but it's not so strong so I gave it a berry.

Gyarados-Mega @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Mold Breaker
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Iron Head
- Crunch
- Waterfall

Mega Gyarados is amazing with its high Atk but it has a slight issue with its weaknesses, mainly fairy. I gave it STAB crunch and waterfall, iron head for fairies, and dragon dance as a boost

Have you been lurking a long time? Been here 2 years, 1 message…

I agree with a lot of what Exca said, this is not the best team.

I have a lot to do and can’t give a comprehensive rate now, but please post/pm some replays so we can see how this team does.

As you can tell by my name, I like kingdra. The best set for it is

Kingdra @ Choice Specs
Ability: Swift Swim
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Flash Cannon
- Dragon Pulse

This team has quite a few unviable sets. You also have three specs users if you use good sets, being Keldeo, Manaphy, and Kingdra.

It is a good attempt at a first team, however

Thanks for the input! I tried using my team for a while and it went fine, but i used the team that was recommended and it worked a lot better!

I have been here for a while, two years now, but i never really played seriously. OU was always some challenge because everyone has nearly the same team. i don't know so much into the competitive scene but i tried it and its fun, so that's great.

thanks for the help :)
