Mega Mantine
Typing:
Water/Electric
Ability: Hydropower - Speed is raised by 1 when hit by a Water move; Water immunity. (Motor Drive clone)
Stats:
HP: 85 (+0)
Attack: 40 (+0)
Defense: 70 (+0)
Special Attack: 180 (+100)
Special Defense: 140 (+0)
Speed: 70 (+0)
Added Moves: Thunder, Thunderbolt
Design: Mantine's tail grew longer and has a yellow spike at the end, her antennas have glowing light bulbs at the top, her wings are longer and the white skin changed color to bright yellow.
Description: With a huge SpA stat and a great movepool, Mega Mantine can be an effective sweeper:

Mega Porygon-Z
Typing:
Normal/Bug
Ability: Malware - Lowers Special Defense of adjacent opponents by 1. (Intimidate clone)
Stats:
HP: 85 (+0)
Attack: 80 (+0)
Defense: 110 (+40)
Special Attack: 145 (+10)
Special Defense: 110 (+35)
Speed: 105 (+15)
Added Moves: Leech Life, Infestation
Design: Mega Porygon-Z is bigger than the regular one, it changed color to bright green and there is a black bug icon on its body.
Description: Mega Porygon-Z gets a huge buff to its bulk, reaches a better speed tier and gets a small buff to its SpA stat. The new secondary typing gives Signal Beam a STAB. The new ability makes Mega Porygon-Z hit really hard with its special attacks since it weakens the opposing Pokemon's SpD.

Mega Volcarona
Typing:
Bug/Fire
Ability: Queenly Majesty
Stats:
HP: 85 (+0)
Attack: 80 (+20)
Defense: 145 (+80)
Special Attack: 145 (+10)
Special Defense: 135 (+30)
Speed: 60 (-40)
Added Moves: Defend Order, Attack Order
Design: Mega Volcarona's wings are bigger and there are golden ornaments on them, her body is a bit fatter and there is a shiny golden crown with red diamonds on her head.
Description: The bug queen is almost as bulky as Cresselia, which means she can set up Quiver Dances easier than her non mega counterpart. She is also really hard to revenge kill thanks to the added bulk and the new ability in Queenly Majesty. However her speed is cut in half so even at +2 it isn't able to outspeed common Scarfed Pokemon such as Garchomp or Nihilego.

Adaptability/Download/AnalyticAdaptability

New Moves: Volt Switch, Focus Blast

  • Incredible special attack. Porygon-Z's improved bulk also allows it to take some decently powerful hits as well.

  • Porygon-Z's useless attack gets such a big boost since it's got so much absurd power that making it too fast or too bulky would make it nearly unstoppable.

  • Porygon-Z gets a secondary electric typing since it's an artificial Pokemon. It also learns three electric moves by leveling up.

  • Adaptability is such an awesome offensive ability that Porygon-Z needs it to not be overshadowed by its non mega form.

  • Volt Switch is extremely powerful after the Adaptability boost and allows Porygon-Z to pivot out of predicted switches and otherwise bad situations. Focus Blast prevents Porygon-Z from being walled by bulky steel types and Chansey.

  • Neither Porygon-Z's bulk or speed are particularly amazing, meaning faster powerful Pokemon, whethere naturally or via scarf, can easily KO it.
Volcarona

Bug/FireBug/Fire

HP: 85 → 85 (0)

Atk: 60 → 60 (0)

Def: 65 → 75 (+10)

SpA: 135 → 175 (+40)

SpD: 105 → 125 (+20)

Spe: 100 → 130 (+30)

Flame Body/Swarm → Sun Aura (Fire types moves boosted by 30% (Dark/Fairy Aura clone))

  • Astronomical special attack and high speed.

  • Sun Aura gives a solid 30% boost on top of its normal STAB to Volcarona's fire type moves.

  • Coverage is still rather poor. Struggles against the same stuff regular Volcarona struggles with, namely bulky fire types if isn't carrying HP Ground, bulky dragon types like Dragonite and Chansey.

  • Being the only Pokemon in the game besides its preevolution to take full damage from hazards is always a gigantic pain. Volcarona also has poor physical bulk.

Mega Mantine
Typing:
Water/Dragon
Ability: Magic Bounce
Stats:
HP: 85 (+0)
Attack: 40 -> 60 (+20)
Defense: 70 -> 110 (+40)
Special Attack: 80 -> 120 (+40)
Special Defense: 140 -> 150 (+10)
Speed: 70 -> 60 (-10)
BST 485 -> 585 (+100)
Added Moves: Dragon Tail/Dragon Pulse

Basic idea is that as it mega evolves, so too do the Remoraid's that swim with it, fusing Mantine with the newly formed Octillerie's to gain tentacles and become a deep purple. Competitively, it would act as the ultimate hazard deterrent for stall; combining both Magic Bounce and Defog makes it so valuable for competitive teams, while not being severely weak to any hazard, having reliable recovery as well as having Haze/Dragon Tail to take on set up sweepers. Speed was lowered to balance a little bit, meaning it now speedties with Clefable, one mon who can potentially threaten it. Best way of dealing with this Mantine is with physically offensive dragon types, due to its defense not getting too much of a buff.

Special Attack: 135 -> 150 (+15)
Special Defense: 70 -> 90 (+20)
Speed: 90 -> 110 (+20)
BST: 535 -> 635
Added Moves: Curse/Shadow Sneak

Porygon-Z's body falls off like a snakeskin, leaving it with purely an empty soul bar a few panels of its skin and the hardware keeping it alive. Normal/Ghost is an awesome typing, exhibiting 3 resistances and few resistances to its own attacks. With Nasty Plot/Agility and Adaptability powered attacks, this mon is going to be incredible tough to switch into and will act as a great late game cleaner. 110 Speed is plenty to make it a genuine threat whilst not steaming its way past the entire metagame, and 85/95/90 defenses are mediocre but not poor. Mons such as Ttar will continually trouble this mon unless it runs Focus Blast in its set. Fairly weak stabs will hold it back too.

Special Defense: 105 -> 75 (-30)
Speed: 100 -> 110 (+10)
BST: 550 -> 650
Added Moves: Iron Head/Shift Gear

Upon Mega evolving, Volcarona's whole body hardens, encasing itself in iron, improving its physical defense but removing the almost psychic like properties it held before. Now it becomes a Fire/Steel type taking on a physical form rather than a special form. This allows it to set up with Shift Gear rather than Quiver Dance (still a viable option now with improved defenses and a special defense which needs increasing) bypassing former checks in Chansey/Tyranitar. It now loses its rock weakness and has a higher speed, making it easier to set up and sweep but its typgin makes it weak to fighting type priority by mons like Breloom while still being weak to Aqua Jet. Having Limber as its ability prevents it from being paralyzed thus also easing set up.

You are not allowed to remove 30 stats total, so your Volcarona is an illegal submission

Type: Bug/Fire
Stats: 85/60/65/185/150/105 (±0/±0/±0/+50/+45/+5) [BST: 650]
Ability: Compound Eyes
Appearance: Volcarona's wingspan doubled, with its wings now radiating tons of heat. The fluff on its neck is set ablaze. (Height: 5'11"/1.8m, Weight: 47.6kg/104.9lb)
Added Moves: N/A
Description: Mega Volcarona can now be a wallbreaker, though it can set up and sweep if it wants. Priority, more specifically Accelerock, is a major problem for it, but QD on a mon that hits harder than Mega Rayquaza (on the special side at least) is frightening.
Example Moveset:
Volcarona @ Volcaronite
Ability: Flame Body / Swarm
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Fire Blast / Fiery Dance
- Bug Buzz
- Hidden Power [ROCK] / Hurricane
With maximum damage output, Mega Volcarona is terrifying. Fire Blast is now a guaranteed hit, with Fiery Dance as an alternative if you want to have it raise its Special Attack even further. Bug Buzz is the other STAB opted for, and HP Rock is to ensure perfect neutral coverage, though Hurricane can be used instead to have another accurate 110BP move.

Type: Normal/Ghost
Stats: 85/90/50/180/95/135 (±0/+10/-20/+45/+20/+45) [BST: 635]
Ability: Download
Appearance: One of Porygon-Z's eyes is now more or less a detached, infinitely flat surface. Its head is horizontally dislocated, and its body has "cubic" splotches. (The Rose-pink and blue swap where floating, unperceivable cubes and Porygon-Z's body overlap) Its "beak" floats in front of its head. Its body is extremely twitchy, with parts frequently teleporting from place to place. It's also vertically displaced a bit. (Height: 1.1m/3'07"; Weight: 9.0kg/19.8lb)
Added Moves: N/A
Description: Special Attack is scary, being on par with Primal Kyogre, etc. That + Faster than Ash-Greninja + Double Download against mons with better Defense than Special Defense = WELP. However, priority moves are your antivirus for this one, more specifically Sucker Punch. Mega Blissey can also be problematic for Mega Porygon-Z.
Example Moveset:
Porygon-Z @ Porygon-Zite
Ability: Download
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
IVs: 0 Atk
Timid Nature
- Tri Attack
- Shadow Ball
- Nasty Plot
- Thunderbolt / Psyshock
Nasty Plot can bolster its already insane Special Attack (AFTER Double Download, might I add) even further, and then unleash glitched havoc with perfect Neutral coverage between its STABs and Thunderbolt. Psyshock can be used instead of Thunderbolt if you wish to target Special Walls instead of Tyranitar and Bisharp.

Type: Water
Stats: 85/30/100/120/160/90 (±0/-10/+30/+40/+20/+20) [BST: 585]
Ability: Magic Guard
Appearance: Mantine's body and wings, which are twice as wide now, are thinner. It is also twice as long, with its tail slender. Unfortunately, that size gives it difficulty floating. (Height: 4.2m/13'09"; Weight: 424.1kg/935.0lb)
Added Moves: N/A
Description: Mega Mantine trades out a Rock weakness for a Grass weakness and is less weak to Electric. It has crazy Special bulk and usable Physical bulk, with decent speed to boot.
Example Moveset:
Mantine @ Mantinite
Ability: Water Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Roost
- Haze
- Scald
- Defog
Roost is recovery, Haze is to stop set-up sweepers, Scald is to inflict burn, and Defog is to remove hazards.

Movepool Additions - Hurricane
Competitive Analysis - Mega Mantine acts as an even better wall. 85/95/185 bulk is way beyond average, and its typing is also great leaving it with only two weaknesses. However, the biggest addition to Mantine upon Mega Evolving is Speed Boost, this ability gives it Mantine the chance to Roost stall narrow 2HKOes, since Speed Boost means that Tine will eventually outspeed the attacker that is trying to 2HKO it. Hurricane also gives it a more reliable Flying-type and allows it to be less passive. It still drops to Electric-type moves, and is still weak to Stealth Rocks, making it fairly balanced. Also, its physical Defense is also average enough to balance it out.

Movepool Additions - Flamethrower, Fire Blast
Competitive Analysis - I went with the standard route with Pory-Z, it has a one time Download + Adpatability combo so players really should know when to Mega Evolve. Its SpA is clearly huge, but the fact that faster mons can still outspeed it and revenge kill it with some ease keeps it on check, also before Mega Evolving it is still slow, so it has some trouble revenge killing in case it wants to save Download. Don't underestimate it, tho, it has a LOT of RAW POWER.

Competitive Analysis - If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That was the mentality here, giving Volcarona a couple more SpA, a little extra bulk and some more Speed. Solar Power was mostly for flavor since it is the Sun Pokémon after all (Drought would be crazy broken LOL) but also cuz' Volcarona could help revamp Sun. However, it still has the same weakesses regular Volcarona has, SR, powerful priority and Chansey, it does have a better matchup versus 101+ Scarfers, since you'd now need 113+ scarfers to revenge kill it at +1.

New Typing: Normal ---> Normal/Dark

New Ability: Adaptability/Download/Analytic ---> Sheer Force

New Stats:

Special Attack: 135 ---> 180 (+45)
Special Defense: 75 ---> 85 (+10)
Speed: 90 ---> 115 (+25)

New Moves:
Focus Blast, Sludge Bomb

Description: Download pre-Mega is basically Z-Conversion, Mega edition. The Dark typing is based off of malware/malicious software, and I gave it Sheer Force due to the sheer amount of moves it has to abuse Sheer Force. It's counterable due to reliance on that +1 Special Attack from Download pre-Mega.

Mega Volcarona
New Typing: Bug/Fire ---> Bug/Fire

New Ability: Flame Body/Swarm (HA) ---> Tinted Lens

New Stats:
HP: 85
Attack: 60 ---> 135 (+75)

Special Attack: 135 ---> 150 (+15)
Special Defense: 105 ---> 90 (-15)
Speed: 100

New Moves:
None

Description: I expanded on the offensive Quiver Dance role of Mega Volcarona. Tinted Lens makes it STAB moves a lot more spammable. Counters aren't too hard to find. Its speed is okay, but nothing special, leaving it outsped even after a Quiver Dance (you can only really afford to get one QD). The Attack boost was to not make it too strong, though you might be able to do something with Flare Blitz or Wild Charge or something else, though recoil does wear it down a bit.

Mega Mantine
New Typing: Water/Flying ---> Water/Flying

New Ability: Swift Swim/Water Absorb/Water Veil (HA) ---> Volt Absorb

New Stats:
HP: 85
Attack: 40 ---> 65 (+25)
Defense: 70 ---> 125 (+55)
Special Attack: 80
Special Defense: 140 ---> 160 (+20)
Speed: 70

New Moves: None

Description: Defensive Pokemon. I went and gave it Volt Absorb to remove its x4 weakness to Electric, a defense boost to patch up Physical bulk and slightly increase special bulk. The Attack boost is just filler to avoid making it too bulky. but it is really passive, so it's crippled quite a bit by Taunt. Combined with the Stealth Rock weakness, and strong attackers can blast through it or use it to set up.

New Typing:

New Ability: Flame Body / (Swarm) -- Levitate (for flavour)
New Stats:
HP: 85
Attack: 60 -- 70 (+10) [90 left]
Defense: 65 -- 85 (+20) [70 left]
Special Attack: 135 -- 157 (+22) [48 left]
Special Defense: 105 -- 140 (+35) [13 left]
Speed: 100 -- 113 (+13) [0 left]
New Moves: Aura Sphere, Flash Cannon
Competitive Justification: Whilst Levitate doesn't help Mega Volcarona much, it allows it to switch in and avoid Sticky Webs, Toxic Spikes and Spikes, as well as allowing it to switch in on EQ and Earth Power. It still gets Quiver Dance, which allows it to set up and destroy things, however, it's stats are fairly balanced. Accelerock completely destroys this. Liquidation, Aqua Jet and other physical moves hurt this thing badly. However, after a Quiver Dance, this thing is deadly. With 140 SpD and 157 SpA, aswell as 113 speed, this thing becomes a monster. Then with moves such as: Fiery Dance, Giga Drain, Bug Buzz, Aura Sphere, Psychic and Flash Cannon, this mon is capable of taking on many foes.

New Stats:

Competitive Justification: Hooray. Mega Porygon-Z has no weaknesses, thanks to Phantom Virus not giving any weaknesses. Mega Porygon-Z now gets Ghost those resists and immunities no matter what type it changes to with Conversion. With STAB Shadow Ball and Tri Attack, as well as 150 SpA, this mon has good offensive presence, as well as decent defences too, with 85 / 100 / 100 and no weaknesses. Plus it can get a SpA boost before mega to make it even stronger

Competitive Justification: Mega Mantine Alpha is a real pain to take out, with 85 / 140 / 160 bulk and reliable recovery in Roost, as well as Magic Guard for an immunity to Stealth Rocks and Toxic. Calm Mind allows it to boost it's stats even higher. However, 95 Base SpA kinda makes it a sitting duck, and a 4x weakness to electric definitely holds it back.

Special Defense: 140
Speed: 70 -- 120 (+50) [0 left]
New Moves: Psychic, Shadow Ball
Competitive Justification: Mega Mantine Beta is the exact opposite of Mega Mantine Alpha. With only 50 Defence, it leaves itself open to many physical attackers. However, it's physical frailty is made up for with an insane 170 SpA and 120 Speed, as well as Speed Boost. Couple that with moves such as Psychic, Shadow Ball, Surf, Ice Beam, Air Slash and Signal Beam, and you have a mon that is a pain to deal with. However, it is still stopped by special walls, due to it having no way to set up.

252+ SpA Mantine Hydro Vortex (200 BP) vs. 4 HP / 252 SpD Eviolite Chansey in Rain on a critical hit: 504-594 (78.5 - 92.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (this is the highest possible in hackmons)

Mega Porygon-Z
New Typing: Normal ---> Normal
New Ability: Adaptability/Download/Analytic ---> Stability Fix (Clone of Download, increases either Defense or Special Defense based on current foes higher attack stat).
New Stats:
HP: 85
Attack: 80 ---> 80
Defense: 70---> 105 (+35)
Special Attack: 135 ---> 155 (+20)
Special Defense: 75 ---> 110 (+35)
Speed: 90 ---> 100 (+10)

New Moves:
Rapid Spin, Flamethrower

Description: Porygon-Z has been debugged and ready to battle, with additional stability updates and a slight speed increase. Stability Fix allows it to serve as a tanky special attacker and force opponent switches, acting kinda like a more offensive Porygon2. 155 Special Attack is great with its range of coverage moves and access to Nasty Plot and Download. However, it has a relatively low Speed stat, and offencive sets rely on getting a good Download to put on immediate pressure. Defencive sets, however, can make use of an easy switch in to use Rapid Spin.

Mega Volcarona
New Typing: Bug/Fire ---> Fire
New Ability: Flame Body/Swarm ---> Inferno (Clone of Normalize, all moves are made Fire-type and get a 1.2x boost)
New Stats:
HP: 85
Attack: 60 ---> 70 (+10)
Defense: 65 ---> 75 (+10)
Special Attack: 135 ---> 175 (+40)
Special Defense: 105 ---> 130 (+25)
Speed: 100 ---> 115 (+15)

New Moves:
None

Description: Mega Volcarona burns up and becomes an immensely powerful sweeper after the use of one Quiver Dance. Inferno is a double-edged sword, while it gives STAB on everything (Giga Drain might be useful to recover health, or Bug Buzz to break through subs) and a power boost, it eliminates coverage moves. Despite this, this mega has immense raw power and speed off of it's moves, and can break through most things not named Heatran.

Phantom Virus is pointless when you could just make it Normal / Ghost type. Also, custom abilities are banned unless they are clones of existing ones.
