Mega Mawile comes back to bite in SV National Dex! Mega Mawile is a threatening setup sweeper that can blow holes in many defensive cores thanks to Huge Power and Swords Dance. Knock Off cripples many defensive Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Heatran, and Landorus-T, and it allows Mega Mawile to break through Toxapex after a Swords Dance. Sucker Punch allows Mega Mawile to OHKO faster threats such as Ogerpon-W, Mega Medicham, and Volcarona after a Swords Dance or significant chip. The given EV spread maximizes Mega Mawile's Attack stat while also letting it outspeed uninvested Heatran. Mega Mawile has a hard time switching in, so pivoting from the likes of Galarian Slowking, Alomomola, and Rotom-W is beneficial. Despite Mega Mawile explosive power, it usually falls short of OHKOing the majority of the metagame’s threats even with a Swords Dance boost. Therefore, entry hazard setters like Ferrothorn, Landorus-T, and Hisuian Samurott are appreciated.

Icl bro i took one look at this spotlight and was confused
90% of the mons mentioned here as examples are good or even relevant ones to mega mawile.

Play Rough threatens many common metagame walls such as Great Tusk, Mega Tyranitar, and Garchomp
The only time Garchomp or Great Tusk are have anything to with Mawile is when they are clicking their ground stab and killing it, neither are switching in on it most of the time. Tyranitar is an even worse example, this mon is being forced out all the time and is never switching in, its effectively set-up fodder for mawile. Moreso none of these are even walls, by any broad definition???

while also hitting Pokemon like Iron Crown, Galarian Slowking, and Skeledirge for super effective damage.
???
Iron Crown is hard swapping out of every Mega Mawile and otherwise its a free SD, same with GKing lol, what. You are never knocking off an iron crown or gking unless they are useless and a sack. Similiar situation to dirge, who is at best a fringe viable mon currently. will never swap into maw unless its teraed and if it has to lol.

Uturn is also not used very much at all on glisc, better options are lando or gking.

Im not going to reject this outright but please put this back into WIP and spend more than 20 minutes thinking and writing about this. I also hope that this is just an exception, but if it isnt please dont reserve any more NatDex Spotlights until you actually play the tier, because these mentions so far look like all you did was look at the VR and analyses and speedwrote this without thinking.

Mega Mawile comes back to bite in SV National Dex! Mega Mawile is a threatening set-up sweeper that can blow holes in many defensive cores thanks to Huge Power and Swords Dance. Knock Off cripples many defensive Pokemon such as Ferrothorn, Garganacl Heatran, and Landorus-T, and gives allows Mega Mawile to break through some neutral coverage against Fairy-resists like Heatran and Toxapex after a Swords Dance. Sucker Punch allows a boosted Mega Mawile to OHKO faster threats such as Ogerpon-W, Iron Boulder Mega Medicham, and Volcarona after a Swords Dance boost or significant chip damage. Intimidate is the recommended to help Mega Mawile force out physical attackers like Garchomp, Landorus-T, and Great Tusk pre–Mega Evolution. common sense The given EV spread maximizes Mega Mawile's Attack stat, while also outspeeding uninvested Heatran. instead, dedicate a line here or after the pivoting line another group of teammates mmaw appreciates, something like spikes support, or maybe revenge killers idk whatever u would prefer, as long as they make sense and work with it. Mega Mawile has a hard time switching in, so pivoting from the likes of Landorus-T, Alomomola, and Rotom-W are beneficial.
lmk after implement so i can check, much better than before but still some fluff like the intimidate line
