SM OU Marshadow Stall

The most broken pokemon in the game has been released so it followed that it should fit on the most broken team! Building stall around Marshadow struck me as a great concept because of its amazing matchup vs top stallbreakers such as Sub Coil Zygarde, Taunt Lele and Zard X. Without further ado here is the team.

Marshadow @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spectral Thief
- Close Combat
- Shadow Sneak
- Will-O-Wisp

The little beast itself. A focus sash set fit the needs of the team perfectly as it complemented stall's focus on keeping hazards off. Beats common stallbreakers into the dust, and puts fear into offense teams with setup spam. Wisp is chosen over Ice coverage as it allows me to outplay Bisharp and still covers Lando switchins. It also helps wear down opposing Toxapex, the primary switch.

Sableye @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 116 Def / 144 SpD
Careful Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Protect
- Knock Off
- Recover

It's Mega Sableye! Protect for Lele leads, wisp knock recover to cause general anguish. Magic Bounce obviously helps Marsh out when beating setup sweepers, and when outplaying Tapu Fini.

Chansey @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic
- Soft-Boiled
- Seismic Toss
- Heal Bell

And it's Chansey! Drop this in on special attackers and then type "how" in the chat to emphasise what a don you are. Obviously a bit vulnerable to Duggy so needs rocks up as early as possible. Heal Bell helps with annoying burns on Sableye and Skarm.

Toxapex @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 192 Def / 68 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Toxic Spikes
- Recover
- Haze

The team's own Marshadow check. Beats a wide variety of mons 1v1, and is part of the way the team outplays Fini. Into this, into Sableye on the Taunt, back into this, all is well. T-spikes wears down balance teams, bless them, and helps vs opposing stall if you somehow manage to trap the other Toxapex.

Dugtrio @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 160 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 92 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Earthquake
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Adopted this spread to switch into all variants of Koko, as it lives Specs HP Ice/Gleam. Also checks +1 Skystrike Gyarados which can be threatening. Covers most variants of Volcarona that could threaten if Toxapex was trapped. HP Ice is semi fun tech for Lando, it does a decent chunk.

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Roost
- Defog
- Brave Bird

Phys def Skarmory so sand never ever beats the team. Brave Bird is nice in the Marshadow meta, and can catch certain mons like Taunt Gyara. Rocks and Defog are self explanatory. Other main threats it covers are Bulu and Kartana.

Playing around this boy with Sableye and Toxapex can be annoying but most people seem to point and shoot with it.

And that's about it! Team seems borderline broken from testing, 26-2 with 1 loss to hax and the other to random physical scarf Koko.

Pretty cool team I was running a similar one with heatran/zapd over skarm dug and the concept of it is real strong. Have you thought about pursuit on marshadow over willo or does that make you too weak to bisharp?
