Tauros @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Naughty Nature
- Iron Head/ Zen Headbutt
- Rock Climb
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast

Tauros is a great Mon in NU, and it has a nice movepool that can be useful for lots of situations. With its good ability, Sheer Force, and powerful attacks, it can do a lot of damage or OHKO a lot of Mons of the tier. Gurdurr is usually a nice Switch In some times, cause of the natural bulk and the posibility to recover de damage done with Drain Punch. Naughty Tauros isn't really apreciated when building, but it still outspeeds lots of Mons. This is why I think Tauros is a great Mon to eliminate this Gurdurr from the foe's team.

Here you have some calcs:

252+ Atk Life Orb Sheer Force Tauros Zen Headbutt vs. 252 HP / 64 Def Eviolite Gurdurr: 192-229 (51.3 - 61.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Life Orb Sheer Force Tauros Rock Climb vs. 252 HP / 64 Def Eviolite Gurdurr: 161-191 (43 - 51%) -- 5.1% chance to 2HKO
192+ Atk Gurdurr Drain Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Tauros: 234-276 (80.4 - 94.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
192+ Atk Gurdurr Mach Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Tauros: 126-150 (43.2 - 51.5%) -- 5.1% chance to 2HKO
+1 192+ Atk Gurdurr Mach Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Tauros: 186-218 (63.9 - 74.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Skuntank @ Choice Band
Ability: Aftermath
EVs: 252 Atk / 112 SpD / 144 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Crunch
- Play Rough
- Poison Jab

Basically, idea here is that you play rough on the swap in, easily 2hkoing, while not getting OHKOd in return.

252+ Atk Choice Band Skuntank Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Gurdurr: 196-232 (52.4 - 62%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ Atk Choice Band Skuntank Poison Jab vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Gurdurr: 130-154 (34.7 - 41.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252+ Atk Gurdurr Mach Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Skuntank: 87-103 (25 - 29.6%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

Yes, it can't beat a boosting gurdurr, but gurdurr usually comes in automatically on a skuntank once it shown its physical, and you can easily wear it down, or KO it if it doesn't swap out after your first play rough. Additionally, poison jab 3hkos, so it can't really beat you all that reliably, especially considering its lacking reliable recovery.

- Razor Shell

Normally Lilligant can take any hit from Choice Scarf Barbaracle but X-scissor has a good chance to OHKO, where Stone Edge only does 65-70.
252 Atk Tough Claws Barbaracle X-Scissor vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Lilligant: 248-292 (88.2 - 103.9%) -- 25% chance to OHKO

Samurott @ Rindo Berry
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 Atk / 80 SpD / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Waterfall
- Megahorn
- Aqua Jet

Non-standard Samurott set but does a pretty good job at taking most Grass-type attacks and striking back with a powerful Megahorn. The Speed lets you outrun neutral Base 60's, which is okay I guess; the SpD EVs give you a good chance of surviving a +1 Giga Drain after Stealth Rock. Other targets this set beats include Shiftry, Ludicolo, and Abomasnow.

+1 252 SpA Life Orb Lilligant Giga Drain vs. 0 HP / 80 SpD Rindo Berry Samurott: 255-302 (77 - 91.2%) -- 25% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

252+ Atk Samurott Megahorn vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Lilligant: 302-356 (107.4 - 126.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Ability: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 196 Def / 44 SpD / 16 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald

- Mirror Coat
- Recover

Lilligant sees Gastro as a free opportunity to click a Grass move, does about 70% damage, gets Mirror Coated, and dies. Best thing about this particular spread is that even though you take a lot from special Grass moves , you live all of them and kill in return with Mirror Coat, while still stopping RP Rhydon and outspeeding Tank Don.

252 SpA Life Orb Lilligant Giga Drain vs. 252 HP / 44+ SpD Rindo Berry Gastrodon: 289-343 (67.8 - 80.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

- Volt Switch

Lilligant is usually a good switch in when Lanturn is on the field, but with this set, Lilligant is OHKOed by Ice Beam, that is a great coverage move for this Mon.

252+ SpA Choice Specs Lanturn Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Lilligant: 288-340 (102.4 - 120.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Aurorus @ Choice Specs
Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Blizzard
- Freeze Dry
- Earth Power
- Sleep Talk

Sash Viv is really hard to lure for obvious reasons but this might have a shot. +1 Energy Ball is a solid 2HKO, so if Aurorus comes in to stop a sweep, Viv may try and Sleep Powder it and go for the 2HKO. In this case, Sleep Talk hopefully selects Blizzard or Freeze Dry and OHKOes it with ease, even after boosts. Snow Warning prevents Sash from working but it might also stop Viv from trying to stay in, possibly preventing the lure. If Viv tries to get to +2 to attempt a OHKO with Energy Ball, it falls short so long as Stealth Rock is off the field. +1 Energy Ball fails to OHKO even if Stealth Rock is up, but is close enough to potentially be convincing to the Viv player.

+1 252 SpA Vivillon Energy Ball vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Aurorus: 244-288 (63 - 74.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Ability: Frisk
EVs: 252 HP / 196 Def / 60 SpD
Impish Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Synthesis
- Rock Slide
- Foul Play / Shadow Sneak

Pretty cool lure which lets you take the Hurricane with ease and retaliate back with Rock Slide and pick it off with Shadow Sneak if its sash was intact. Its also helpful that geist is immune to Sleep Powder, so you dont have to worry about being crippled by that. This also helps Geist with stuff like Archeops and Scyther so its not a completely awful use of Geist's itemslot. The SpDef is for Tauros but it lets you live an Energy Ball + a +1 Hurricane as well.

252 SpA Vivillon Hurricane vs. 252 HP / 60 SpD Coba Berry Gourgeist-Super: 165-195 (44.1 - 52.1%) -- 14.1% chance to 2HKO

This horrible idea came to mind when i was looking for ways to get around sleep status and i remembered someone using a similar set for Meloetta in RU and i thought why not lol.

188 SpA Mega Audino Snore vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Vivillon: 97-115 (32.2 - 38.2%) -- 96.9% chance to 3HKO
+1 188 SpA Mega Audino Snore vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Vivillon: 144-171 (47.8 - 56.8%) -- 88.3% chance to 2HKO

Tauros (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Rock Climb
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Substitute

Not the most innovative thing in the world and in some circumstances Iron Tail / Rock Slide is better but Sub Tauros is pretty neat and actually a cool lure for this Vivillon. Essentially the Vivi user expects to chew a hit with Focus Sash and put Tauros to sleep in return, but instead Tauros Sub's on the sleep and proceeds to 2hko Vivillon (barring misses) as Vivi has to break your sub. I like this lure because Sub Tauros actually has a lot of value outside of just luring Vivillon, unlike a lot more unique and niche attempts to lure Viv.

Rhydon @ Eviolite
Ability: Lightning Rod
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Atk / 240 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock / Earthquake / Dig
- Rock Blast
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Vivillon can switch in to Rhydon after another Pokemon faints, a slow U-turn/Volt Switch, Memento, etc. Normally Rhydon is easy Sleep Powder bait but RestTalk Rhydon can Sleep Talk into a Rock Blast (assuming a best-case scenario). If you predict Sleep Powder and Sleep Talk the turn you get hit by it, you have two chances to get Rock Blast, considering that an Energy Ball from a Timid Vivillon will not OHKO. Earthquake can be used over SR if you want to be more offensive or have another rock setter on your team. If you really want to commit to luring Vivillon, Dig can be used over SR, since it can not be called by Sleep Talk, essentially giving you a 50% chance to hit Rock Blast. You could technically replace Rest, but why would you want Sleep Talk without Rest? Although the set is definitely subpar, it could fit on teams that are Vivillon weak and lack Wish passers. This also gives Rhydon recovery, meaning it could theoretically last longer throughout the course of the match; it also beats status, which is huge considering that Rhydon is very hindered by status and residual damage in general.

252 SpA Vivillon Energy Ball vs. 252 HP / 240 SpD Eviolite Rhydon: 260-308 (62.8 - 74.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
16+ Atk Rhydon Rock Blast (3 hits) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Vivillon: 792-936 (263.1 - 310.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO (did i really need to put this here lol)

Regirock @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 184 Atk / 16 Def / 56 SpD
Impish Nature
- Rock Slide
- Thunder Wave
- Counter
- Stealth Rock
Standard Regirock spread with Counter > Earthquake / Drain Punch. You lure them in thinking they can get an easy Drain Punch off, take the hit comfortably and KO back with Counter. It's not like Regirock is dead weight in the rest of the match after luring Hitmonchan either, since it only takes around 55% from Drain Punch and you can easily heal off that damage throughout the match.

252+ Atk Life Orb Iron Fist Hitmonchan Drain Punch vs. 252 HP / 16+ Def Regirock: 174-211 (47.8 - 57.9%) -- 43.8% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Kecleon @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 192 Atk / 200 SpA / 116 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Fire Blast
- Sucker Punch
- Drain Punch
- Shadow Sneak

Not sure if Shadow Sneak is actually expected on Kecleon these days or not but priority change-your-type-to-Ghost is quite amusing. If Kecleon comes in after Hitmonchan gets a KO, it can Shadow Sneak to block a STAB attack or potential Rapid Spin attempt. Then Hitmonchan has to Ice Punch Kecleon, which can then secure the 2HKO with Drain Punch.

192+ Atk Life Orb Protean Kecleon Shadow Sneak vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Hitmonchan: 86-101 (35.6 - 41.9%)
192+ Atk Life Orb Protean Kecleon Drain Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Hitmonchan: 157-187 (65.1 - 77.5%)

252+ Atk Life Orb Iron Fist Hitmonchan Ice Punch vs. 0 HP / 0- Def Kecleon: 181-213 (69.3 - 81.6%)

You don't have to use a Lonely Nature since Hitmonchan will take LO recoil from Ice Punch, but it helps against AV variants. Probably not the best lure but Kecleon is pretty cool regardless :)

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
IVs: 0 HP / 0 Def / 0 SpD / 0 Spe

Lead Aggron can be a nifty rocker having Sturdy + Metal Burst. The idea of this set is to take the hit from Chan, Sturdy activates and then retaliate back with Metal Burst. Custap Berry lets you set up rocks or fire of a Head Smash after you killed Chan. Filler move can be TWave, Low Kick, Heavy Slam or even Taunt.

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Hitmonchan is normally a super safe switch into Liepard as long as you don't mind losing your item, but CB Play Rough easily OHKO's chan on the switch. Play Rough also has utility in luring other Fighting-types besides chan such as Hariyama and Gurdurr who are both cleanly 2hko'd after SR which is neat.

Barbaracle @ Chople Berry
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Shell Smash
- Razor Shell

- Earthquake

Normally Hitmonchan can switch in and live any one of Barb's unboosted moves on the switch and if Barb decides to Shell Smash on a predicted switch Hitmonchan can easily Mach Punch which is a 37.5% chance to kill at full but can easily KO if Barb has any sort of prior damage or their is hazards up. Chople Berry means you can Shell Smash without worrying about dying to a Mach Punch or straight up just revenge kill Hitmonchan if it has anough prior damage (around 35%). This strategy can work on other Fighting-types such as Gurdurr.

+2 252+ Atk Tough Claws Barbaracle Return vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Hitmonchan: 333-392 (137.6 - 161.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
