[OVERVIEW]

Water
========
* Access to Swift Swim gives Kingdra the ability to outspeed most Pokemon, which, paired with rain-boosted Water STAB, makes it a great sweeper.
* Its strong STAB attacks like Hydro Pump and Draco Meteor can easily puncture the opposing team.
* It has a good defensive typing for a Water-type, as it takes neutral damage from the type’s two weaknesses in Grass and Electric.
* Average bulk accompanied by the need to switch in often makes it very weak to residual damage.
* It has lackluster Special Attack and subpar Speed without rain support.
* It is walled by Pokemon with good Special Defense that resist its STAB attacks, like Empoleon.
* Being on the same team as a rain setter is essential, since without one it has no proper role. Therefore Kingdra is restricted to offensive Water builds.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Hydro Pump is Kingdra's strongest Water-type STAB move. Under rain, it OHKOes or 2HKOes most Pokemon, blowing through walls such as Zapdos. However, its low PP and unreliable accuracy make it a risky move.
* Draco Meteor is necessary to pop a huge hit on some big threats that resist Water, like Mega Venusaur and Kyurem-B, though it causes a loss of momentum, switching out is necessary after the drop.
* Ice beam allows it to hit Tapu Bulu, which is either resistant or immune to Kingdra's STAB attacks. Futhermore, Tapu Bulu is a huge threat to Water teams in general, so being able to KO it or at least wear it down is very important. Ice Beam also helps Kingdra hit Dragon-types like Dragonite without suffering a crucial Special Attack drop.
* Surf is a strong and accurate STAB attack that also gets boosted by the rain. It allows Kingdra to have a very safe sweep without the concern of missing if there isn't much on the opposing team that resists the attack.
* Scald can be used as an alternative main Water STAB move to sweep with, despite its lower Base Power. Its 30% chance to burn allows it to cripple Pokemon that would usually switchin on Kingdra, such as Ferrothorn.

Set Details
========

* 252 Speed EVs allow Kingdra to outspeed most of the metagame, including fast Choice Scarf users such as Latios and Terrakion.
* 252 Special Attack EVs alongside a Modest nature maximize Kingdra's damage output. A Timid nature is not necessary, since Kingdra will usually outspeed most threats anyway when under rain.
* Choice Specs is used to make up for a lacking Special Attack stat and can help wallbreak threats. Without this item, Kingdra can't 2HKO a Mega Venusaur that switches in on it.
* Swift Swim is an amazing ability because it makes up for Kingdom average Speed stat.
* 4 Special Defense EVs give Download users an Attack boost.

Usage Tips
========

* Avoid residual damage like Spikes, Stealth Rock, and status damage that wear Kingdra down and prevent it from properly sweeping. It needs to come in and out of the battle often, so it should remain as healthy as possible.
* Avoid being paralyzed because that completely cripples Kingdra.
* Use Kingdra primarily under rain in order to sweep.
* Only use it outside rain, to drop a big Draco Meteor for a example, if there is no risk of it being KOed or crippled by the opposing Pokemon.
* Spam Hydro Pump early-game in order to break down opposing walls.
* Surf is preferred when it comes to revenge killing or sweeping a damaged team.
* Ice Beam aids in denting Grass-types that resist Water against Flying-types, which are weak to it. It is also another way to hit Water-immune Pokemon such as Cradily, Mantine, and Gastrodon.
* Draco Meteor is for nuking huge threats that can't be taken out by the other moves, such as Mega Venusaur. Also, attempt to avoid using it in the rain, as the Special Attack drop ruins momentum. Water moves do more damage under rain, so this move should be used when the foe resists Water and Ice.
* If you run Eject Button Politoed, bring it in versus something that your current Pokemon outside of rain can't kill. This allows Kingdra to get a free switch in.

Team Options
========

* Pelipper is a crucial partner for Kingdra because it sets up rain and can bring it in with a slow U-turn. Having access to recovery, it is able to come in more than once, giving Kingdra several chances to break the opposing team. It can also use Defog to get rid of entry hazards.
* Politoed with Eject Button is, likewise, a good partner because it can safely switch-in to take hits while setting rain without wasting a turn of it. However, it needs to be paired with Pelipper for more reliable rain setting.
* Seismitoad is a great partner because it can set up Stealth Rock while having an offensive presence by being another Swift Swim sweeper. It also has a very helpful typing, as it is immune to Electric attacks. Stealth Rock break Focus Sashes and gives deals residual damage to the foes, which allows Kingdra to sweep without being threatened by threats like Focus Sash Breloom.
* A physical Swift Swim user like Seismitoad or Kabutops is recommended to handle more specially defensive mons. Kabutops is also able to handle Araquanid, which who can be very annoying for Kingdra.
* Other Pokemon that take advantage of from rain make for great partners. Manaphy can become a big threat to opponents with Z-Rain Dance+Tail Glow while also being able to set up rain if you lose your setter. It can also check some of kingdra's big threats like Mega Venusaur if it sets up and runs Psychic. Alternatively, it makes the horrible Water versus Water matchup simpler with Energy Ball.
* Azumarill with Choice Band or Belly Drum sets can break Pokemon that simply wall Kingdra like Chansey and the defensive Grass core of Ferrothorn+Cradily. It also is immune to the super effective Dragon-type that can come Kingdra's way.
* Keldeo with Choice Specs or Life Orb is a great complement to Kingdra, as it breaks Kingdra's checks like Chansey or Ferrothorn with Secret Sword.
* With its amazing ability, Speed tier, and coverage, Greninja can deal with Kingdra's checks by running Hidden Power Fire for Ferrothorn, Extrasensory for Mega Venusaur and Toxapex, or Gunk shot for Fairy-types like Tapu Fini, Azumarill, and Whimsicott.
* One of the offensive Water sweepers such as regular or Mega Gyarados and Mega Sharpedo are great partners because they can run through teams once Kingdra has done enough damage.
* Besides the ability to spin and take out a weak Venusaur, Starmie can be used to counter Toxapex.
* Toxapex helps wear down foes with Toxic Spikes, making them easier to take out for Kingdra. It can also comfortably switch-in on many attacks that could be risky for Kingdra, such as Dragon-type moves or really any powerful move from an offensive pokemon, like a Close Combat from Terrakion.
* Mega Slowbro running Calm Mind can also be an outstanding partner thanks to its tremendous bulk that allows it to safely take most physical attacks directed towards Kingdra.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* Kingdra can also use Life Orb, but the recoil is inconvenient. The advantage of this is being able to change moves; however, Kingdra is already vulnerable to chip and priority damage, and by adding recoil you lose the option to switch in and out often.
* Kingdra's Attack stat is the same as its Special one and it has access to great STAB moves like Outrage and Waterfall. Also, it learns Dragon Dance, which can give it more of an offensive presence even outside of rain. While this set is viable, it's inconvenient because locking Kingdra into Outrage makes it being revenged possible or can force it to be used outside of the rain. In addition, Waterfall is a weaker STAB move than Surf and Hydro Pump, which is not desirable.
* Dragon Pulse is a possible secondary STAB attack used for sweeping. It specifically shines in the Dragon matchup, as it can completely sweep with Stealth Rock up because only a few Dragon-types such as Goodra and Latias can live the hit.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Specially Defensive Walls**: Specially defensive Pokemon wall everything Kingdra can dish out against them and they usually run status moves and/or entry hazards. However, not all of them will wall it, but mainly those that are immune or resist one or both of Kingdra's STAB moves such as Mantine, Toxapex, and Jellicent.

**Chansey**: Chansey is an exceptional wall that completely stalls out Kingdra. It can cripple it with Thunder Wave or wear it down with Toxic and set up Stealth Rock.

**Mega Venusaur**: Mega Venusaur is a hard Pokemon to beat for Water in general, and it also walls Kingdra, easily stalling out every move it uses. However, Kingdra can 2HKO it with Hydro Pump under rain or Draco Meteor on the switch-in under certain circumstances: if it is weakened, if it attempts to switch in while Stealth Rock is up, or if running a physically defensive set.

** Water-types that are immune or resistant to Dragon**: Water-types such as Tapu Fini, Empoleon, and Azumarill easily switch-in on anything Kingdra uses and easily have a free turn to set up, lay down entry hazards, or even KO it. This kills momentum, which is crucial for Kingdra.

**Paralysis**: Once paralyzed, Kingdra is completely useless when it comes to sweeping. It can take out some slower threats, but overall it would lose its greatest asset.

**Residual Damage**: Kingdra needs to go in and out of the field pretty often during a battle, so being worn down by small things like entry hazards or status such as poison or burn can really make a change in a battle. With too much unnecessary damage, Kingdra loses to priority moves like Choice Band Extreme Speed Dragonite.

**Alolan Raichu**: Being able to outspeed Kingdra in rain, paired along with the Electric boost in Electric Terrain makes Alolan Raichu a reasonable threat. If Kingdra takes some residual damage, it can get OHKOed by Alolan Raichu.

**Trace**: Gardevoir and Mega Alakazam both outspeed Kingdra under rain by Tracing Swift Swim and can revenge kill. Gardevoir can immediately KO it with Moonblast, while Alakazam can take out a weakened Kingdra and possibly sweep the remainder of the team in the right conditions.

[OVERVIEW]

Water
========

*Access to Swift Swim gives Kingdra the ability to outspeed most Pokemon and that paired with rain-boosted water STAB makes it a great sweeper.
*It’s strong STAB attacks like Hydro Pump and Draco Meteor can easily puncture the opposing team.
*Good defensive typing for water as it resists the type’s two weaknesses: Grass and Electric. Nuetrality, not resistance
*Average bulk accompanied by the need to switch in often makes it very weak to residual damage and priority moves.
*Lackluster special attack and sub-par speed without rain.
*Easily walled by Pokemon with very good special defense such as Chansey or Cradily. It's not easily walled by the latter; in fact, cradily isn't reliable at all even to the first set: 252+ SpA Choice Specs Kingdra Ice Beam vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Cradily: 180-212 (47.8 - 56.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery. Ice beam is slash #1 in set #1, you should operate under the assumption in your analysis that it runs it.
* Extremely reliant on being fast, without it’s speed it becomes practically useless. You already mentioned its speed above; these should probably be folded together.
*Being on the same team as a rain setter is quintessential, without one it has no proper role. Essential, not quintessential; that means something entirely different.
*Shallow movepool, Kingdra is very STAB reliant.

Moves

* Surf is a strong and accurate STAB attack that also gets boosted by the rain which allows Kingdra to have a very safe sweep if there isn't much on the opposing team that resists the attack.
*Dragon Pulse is the secondary STAB attack used for sweeping. it specifically shines in the dragon matchup as it can completely sweep with rocks up as only a few Dragon-types can live the hit i.e Goodra and Latias.
*Ice beam gives it additional coverage and does more damage to Flying-types than Surf does. A notable example would be Zapdos. It can also assure that you do not help the opposing mantine regain hp. Wouldn't you just use Dragon Pulse on Mantine?
*Hydro Pump is Kingdra's strongest water STAB for rain sweeping. It can completely blow through walls as it OHKO's or 2HKO's many things. However, it's low pp and terrible accuracy makes it a risky move. It's accuracy isn't that low? 80% is pretty decent.
*Draco Meteor can be used to pop a huge hit on some big threats that resist it''s water STAB like Mega Venusaur. It's downfall is that it messes with momentum as switching is necessary after the drop.
Draco Meteor is a lot less optional then you make it seem. Yes, you can do without, but

Set Details
========

*252 Speed allows it to outspeed most of the metagame including fast scarfers such as Latios or terrakion.
*252 SpA alongside the Modest nature are to maximize the damage output and it doesn’t need to be Timid to outspeed its threats.
*Choice Specs is used to make up for a lacking special attack stat and can help wallbreak threats. Without this item, Kingdra can't even OHKO Kyurem-B or Latios with dragon pulse.
*Swift Swim is an amazing ability because it makes up for Kingdra's average speed stat.

Usage Tips
========

* Avoid residual damage like spikes, rocks and status damage that wear Kingdra down and prevent it from properly sweeping. It needs to come in and out of the battle often, so it should remain as healthy as possible.
* Absolutely avoid being paralyzed because that completely cripples Kingdra.
* Mainly use it in the rain in order to sweep.
* Kingdra should mainly be played somewhat late game in order to sweep a weakened opponent.
*Only use it outside rain, to drop a big Draco for a example, if there is no risk of being killed or crippled by the opposing pokemon.
* If you run Hydro Pump it is better for early game to breakthrough bulky opponents.
* Surf if the main sweeping move and should be used late game.
*Dragon pulse is mainly spammed during the dragon matchup, but should be used to counter water absorbers and other similar threats.
*Ice Beam is important for the flying matchup and is also spammable in the grass matchup once you've weakened the team enough.
*Draco Meteor is for nuking huge threats that can't be taken out by the rest of the moves such as Mega Venusaur. Also, do not use it in the rain as the huge spA drop ruins momentum. It's not useless even in the rain. Change this to "attempt to avoid" or similar.

Also avoid "in the <type> matchup"

Team Options
========

* Pelipper is a crucial partner for Kingdra because it brings rain and can u-turn into it. Having access to recovery, it is able to come in more than once giving Kingdra several chances to break the opposing team. It can also use Defog to get rid of the entry hazards.
*Politoed with Eject Button is likewise a good partner because it can safely switch-in to hits while setting rain without wasting a turn of it.
*A Stealth Rocks user such as Swampert, Seismitoad or Empoleon. The first two can take the electric hits and the latter can use defog to remove entry hazards. Latter is for groups of two only; also, say why stealth rock setters are useful.
*A physical Swift Swimmer like Seismitoad or Kabutops to handle more specially defensive mons. Kabutops is able to handle Araquanid who can be very annoying for Kingdra.
*Other pokemon that profit from rain like Manaphy who can become a big threat to opponents with Z-Rain Dance+Tail Glow or RestCM while also being able to set up Rain if you lose your setter. It can check some of kingdra's big threats like Mega Venusaur if it sets up and with Energy Ball it makes the disgusting water vs water matchup simpler.
*Azumarill with Choice Band or Belly Drum sets can break things that simply wall Kingdra like Chansey and the defensive grass core of Ferrothorn + Cradily. It also resists the SE dragon attacks that can come Kingdra's way. Azumarill is immune to Dragon, not resistant.
*Keldeo with choice specs or Life Orb is a great complement to Kingdra as it breaKS Kingdra's checks like Chansey or Ferrothorn with Secret Sword.
*With it's amazing ability, speed tier and coverage, Greninja can check Kingdra's checks by running hidden power fire for ferrothorn, extrasensory for Mega-Venusaur and Toxapex or Gunk shot for Fairy-types.
*One of the offensive water sweepers such as Mega Gyarados, Regular Gyarados or Mega Sharpedo are great partners because they can run through teams once Kingdra has done enough damage. It's Gyarados, not Regular Gyarados
*Besides the ability to spin and take out a weak Venusaur, Starmie is even better as it can be used to counter Toxapex. even better than what?
*Toxapex helps wear down opponents with toxic spikes, making them easier to take out for Kingdra. It can also comfortably switch-in on many attacks that could be risky for Kingdra. Attacks such as?

Water
--------

*Kingdra can also use Life Orb, but the recoil is inconvenient. Kingdra is already vulnerable to chip and priority, but by adding recoil you lose the power to switch-in and out often. Power is missleading here, try ability or option
*Kingdra can also run Sniper+Scope Lens to be be the CritDra set but that requires setting agility and focus energy which is too risky with that bulk. Overall, it's more of a gimmick set because of how difficult it is to properly utilize. Critdra isn't well enough used, as per "set names are only capitalized in set titles, never in set comments (If Arcanine is a specially defensive variant, it isn't OHKOed by Milotic's Surf). Very well-used set names such as "Extreme Killer" and "Extreme Killer Arceus", "Wallceus", or "Stalltwo" are the only exceptions." Describe the set, don't just use the name.

This would probably also be a good place to mention Timid as an option.

Checks and Counters
===================

Water
--------

**Specially Defensive Walls**: They wall everything Kingdra can dish out against them and they usually run status moves and/or entry hazards. This could use some elaboration.

**Mega Venusaur**: A hard pokemon to beat for water in general, it also walls Kingdra. It easily stalls out every move Kingdra uses. Only Draco Meteor can handle it if Venu has been lowered enough.

**Water-Types**: water types such as Mantine, Tapu Fini, Empoleon, Azumarill, Toxapex, etc... easily switch-in on anything Kingdra uses and easily have a free turn to set up, lay hazards or even KO it. This kills momentum which is crucial for Kingdra. try to avoid Et Cetera, especially since you already have "such as"

**Paralysis**: Once Paralyzed, Kingdra is completely useless when it comes to sweeping. It can take out some slower threats with the recent nerf to Paralysis, but overall it would lose it's greatest asset. Remove recent nerf, mentioning past gens is not allowed.

**Residual Damage**: Kingdra needs to go in and out of the field pretty often during a battle so being worn down by small things like rocks, spikes or status, such as poisom or burn, can really make a change in a battle. With too much useless damage, Kingdra loses to priority moves like Band Extremespeed Dragonite. What is useless damage? Do you mean unnecessary or needless?

**Alolan Raichu**: Being able to outspeed Kingdra in rain, paired along the electric attack boost in terrain makes Alolan Raichu a reasonable threat. If Kingdra gets even an inkling of residual damage, it can get OHKO'ed by Alolan Raichu. Not an inkling, that means something different.

**Gardevoir**: It outspeed Kingdra by tracing Swift Swim and easily manages to KO it with Moonblast.

some other stuff:

[OVERVIEW]
*Shallow movepool, Kingdra is very STAB reliant.
Kingdra doesnt even need much coverage, you already said draco/hydro in rain already dents like everything and doesnt care about resistences bar like ferrothorn. Not important enough to be in the overview

[SET]
Like Quantum Tesseract said, Draco isn't that optional, its a near necessity because kingdras a generally weak mon. Draco/ice beam are also already amazing in the dragon matchup. If SR is up it can still ohko hella mons at -2. Draco is too good and too strong a STAB move for kingdra to miss out on. Same goes for Hydro, if you're gonna put so much emphasis on kingdra punching holes in teams, you've gotta put hydro over surf. Hell even then, Scald>surf because it can burn and cripple its switchins. At least mention scald somewhere in the set details

[USAGE TIPS]
Kingdra should mainly be played somewhat late game in order to sweep a weakened opponent.
Not really true, you said it punches holes in its overview and thats really its role bc its very strong in rain. Getting strong hits off in early/mid game is also effective, and like you said, mega gyarados/mega sharpedo are good mons to pair with it after kingdra runs through the opp's team.

Also mention getting a free switch in with kingdra on politoed's eject button

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
Mention mixed kingdra here, or some of its physical attacks, its got a great dual stab physical movepool in waterfall and outrage

**Specially Defensive Walls**: They wall everything Kingdra can dish out against them and they usually run status moves and/or entry hazards.
Mention specific spdef pokemon like gastrodon/jellicent/empoleon. Spdef mons that dont resist specs hydro in rain are getting 2hkod

Thanks for the AM QC. Yeah, this is my first analysis and I should've probably spent more time reading through the conventions. Hopefully I properly included everything as you said.

Not too sure if I fixed the move order properly. Other than that, changes implemented, ready for second QC.

Overview:
- Kingdra really isn't weak to priority. It's bulk is pretty decent to be honest. Doesn't really get OHKOed by much other than the most powerful wallbreakers.
- Kingdra isn't easily walled at all. If you do not resist Water, you pretty much have no chance because Chansey is pretty much all there is for walls that take neutral damage.

Set:
- This is pretty much the only viable moveset right now (Hydro Pump + a 100% accurate Water-type move, Draco Meteor, Ice Beam). SuMo is different from ORAS. Dragon teams are much less common, so Dragon Pulse isn't nearly as good. Also, Tapu Bulu now exists, which just really ruins Kingdra's day if you don't have Ice Beam.

[SET]
name: Rain Sweeper
move 1: Hydro Pump
move 2: Draco Meteor
move 3: Ice Beam
move 4: Surf / Scald
item: Choice Specs
ability: Swift Swim
nature: Modest
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Moves:
- Change ordering to reflect the slashing.
- Hydro Pump isn't for sweeping, it's for wallbreaking. Surf and Scald are the moves for sweeping.
- Ice Beam is solely motivated by Tapu Bulu, but it generally hits Grass-types. Flying-types are hit harder by Hydro Pump (and Surf. Scald's burn chance makes it superior too).
- Dragon Pulse is really an OO now. Double Water-type STAB is superior to double Dragon-type STAB, Draco Meteor is needed for wallbreaking, and Ice Beam is needed for Tapu Bulu.

Set Details:
- Dragon Pulse isn't on the set anymore, so change your examples for Choice Specs.
- 4 Special Defense EVs are used to give Download users an Attack boost.

Usage Tips:
- Remove Dragon Pulse.
- I don't like the Hydro Pump and Surf lines right now. Explain that Hydro Pump is spammable and should be used to break walls early-game. Surf, however, should be used when Kingdra is revenge killing and sweeping.
- Going off of the above comment, you should generally mention that Water-type moves outdamage all other moves in the rain, so Draco Meteor should generally only be used against Pokemon that resist Water and Ice Beam when they also resist Dragon.

Team Options:
- Note that Politoed can be used alongside Pelipper for two rain setters. It should never be used on its own, as Pelipper is superior if only using one setter.
- Empoleon and Swampert are too passive. Seismitoad is pretty much the main Stealth Rock setter because it also takes advantage of rain with its Swift Swim ability and can compress Stealth Rock, Electric immunity, and attacker into one role.
- RestCM is too slow. Only Z-Rain Dance + Tail Glow Manaphy should be mentioned.
- Calm Mind Mega Slowbro on rain is actually surprisingly decent, so I'd add that.

Other Options:
- Dragon Pulse can be added here.
- The issue with the physical set, and why it's worse, is because Waterfall's BP is just too low. It's lower than Surf's and much lower than Hydro Pump's.

Checks and Counters:
- Walls need to have a resistance or immunity to Water-type attacks because Chansey is the only wall without either that can stop Kingdra. In fact, Chansey should have a section of its own above this one because it simply is the best possible counter to Kingdra.
- Mega Venusaur cannot switch into Kingdra's Draco Meteor, as it can be 2HKOed and always will be with Stealth Rock support or if it's physically defensive. So, just make note of that.
- Water-types that are resistant to or immune to Dragon-type moves. Specify that after the title. Pokemon that aren't are special walls that go in that category because they resist Water-type attacks.
- Not Gardevoir, Trace in general can be problematic, as Mega Alakazam can threaten to sweep with Kingdra's own Swift Swim too once Kingdra is weakened a little bit.

Hopefully I was able to correctly implement the changes, not sure if I went into enough detail for Slowbro and Chansey. Besides that, changes are implemented, ready for next QC.

Sorry for taking such a long time.

Water

*Access to Swift Swim gives Kingdra the ability to outspeed most Pokemon and that paired with rain-boosted water STAB makes it a great sweeper. Kingdra is more a cleaner in my opinion although sweeper term is fine
*It’s strong STAB attacks like Hydro Pump and Draco Meteor can easily puncture the opposing team.
*Good defensive typing for water as it takes neutral damage from the type’s two weaknesses: Grass and Electric.
*Average bulk accompanied by the need to switch in often makes it very weak to residual damage.
*Lackluster special attack and sub-par speed without rain. Without it's speed it becomes practically useless. unnecessary
*Walled by Pokemon with good special defense that resist it's STAB attacks like Empoleon.
*Being on the same team as a rain setter is essential, without one it has no proper role. Add something on how this means Kingdra should be ran on Offensive Water

Moves

*Hydro Pump is Kingdra's strongest water STAB. It can completely blow through walls What walls does it blow through Does it blow through those walls inside of Rain or Outside of Rain? as it OHKO's or 2HKO's many things. However, it's low pp and unreliable accuracy makes it a risky move.
*Draco Meteor is necessary to pop a huge hit on some big threats that resist it's water STAB like Mega Venusaur. It's downfall is that it messes with momentum as switching is necessary after the drop. Kyurem-B is also relevant example
*Ice beam allows it to hit Tapu Bulu who is either resistant or immune to it's STAB attacks. Futhermore, Tapu Bulu is a huge threat to water teams so being able to kill it or at least wear it down is very important. Dragon Types as well. Namely Dragonite without the concern of the Special Attack Drop from Draco Meteor
*Surf is a strong and accurate STAB attack that also gets boosted by the rain which allows Kingdra to have a very safe sweep if there isn't much on the opposing team that resists the attack. Without concern of missing.
*Scald can be used as an alternative main water STAB to sweep with despite it's lower base power. It's 30% chance to burn allows it to cripple things that would usually switchin on it. What typical switch ins does it help against Ferrothorn?

Set Details
========

*252 Speed allows it to outspeed most of the metagame including fast scarfers such as Latios or Terrakion.
*252 SpA alongside the Modest nature are to maximize the damage output and it doesn’t need to be Timid to outspeed its threats in rain?.
*Choice Specs is used to make up for a lacking special attack stat and can help wallbreak threats. Without this item, Kingdra cant 2HKO a Mega Venusaur that switches in on it.
*Swift Swim is an amazing ability because it makes up for Kingdom average at best speed stat. In Rain
*4 Special Defense EVs are to give the Download users an Attack boost.

Usage Tips
========

* Avoid residual damage like Spikes, Stealth Rock and status damage that wear Kingdra down and prevent it from properly sweeping. It needs to come in and out of the battle often, so it should remain as healthy as possible.
* Absolutely avoid being paralyzed because that completely cripples Kingdra.
* Mainly use it in the rain in order to sweep.
*Only use it outside rain, to drop a big Draco for a example, if there is no risk of being killed or crippled by the opposing pokemon.
* Hydro Pump is spammable early game in order to break down opposing walls.
* Surf is preferred when it comes to revenge killing or sweeping a damaged team.
*Ice Beam aids in denting grass types who resist the water attacks and against flying types who are weak to it. It is also another way to hit water absorbers. Examples?
*Draco Meteor is for nuking huge threats that can't be taken out by the rest of the moves such as Mega Venusaur. Also, attempt to avoid using it in the rain as the huge spA drop ruins momentum. Water moves do more damage in rain, so this move should be used when the opponent resists water and ice. Example? Kyurem-B?
*If you run Eject Button Politoed, put it in versus something that your current mon outside of rain can't kill. This allows Kingdra to get a free switch in. Avoid using you and mon

Team Options
========

* Pelipper is a crucial partner for Kingdra because it brings rain and can u-turn into it. Having access to recovery, it is able to come in more than once giving Kingdra several chances to break the opposing team. It can also use Defog to get rid of the entry hazards. Slow U-Turn? Hurricane allows it to check Mega Venusaur
*Politoed with Eject Button is likewise a good partner because it can safely switch-in to hits while setting rain without wasting a turn of it. It however needs to be paired with Pelipper as well because of it being a better rain setter.
*Seismitoad is a great partner because it can set up Stealth Rock all while having an offensive presence by being another swift swim sweeper. It also has a very helpful typing as it is immune to electric attacks. Stealth Rock break sash and give some residual damage to the opponent which allows Kingdra to OHKO without being threatened by things like Breloom.
*A physical Swift Swimmer like Seismitoad that isn't really a physical sweeper or Kabutops to handle more specially defensive mons. Kabutops is able to handle Araquanid who can be very annoying for Kingdra.
*Other pokemon that profit from rain like Manaphy who can become a big threat to opponents with Z-Rain Dance+Tail Glow while also being able to set up Rain if you lose your setter. It can check some of kingdra's big threats like Mega Venusaur if it sets up and with Energy Ball it makes the disgusting water vs water matchup simpler. Manaphy needs Psychic to check Mega Venusaur
*Azumarill with Choice Band or Belly Drum sets can break things that simply wall Kingdra like Chansey and the defensive grass core of Ferrothorn + Cradily. It also is immune to the SE dragon attacks that can come Kingdra's way.
Which Fairy types because doesn't Kingdra just OHKO almost every fairy type in rain besides Azumarill and Tapu Fini
*One of the offensive water sweepers such as Mega Gyarados, Gyarados or Mega Sharpedo are great partners because they can run through teams once Kingdra has done enough damage.
*Besides the ability to spin and take out a weak Venusaur, Starmie is even better than before as it can be used to counter Toxapex.Past generation references should be avoided
*Toxapex helps wear down opponents with toxic spikes, making them easier to take out for Kingdra. It can also comfortably switch-in on many attacks that could be risky for Kingdra such as dragon moves or really any powerful move from an offensive pokemon, like a Close Combat from Terrakion.
*Mega Slowbro running Calm Mind can also be an outstanding partner thanks to it's tremendous bulk. It can safely take most physical attacks directed towards Kingdra. no metion of it's ability to sweep?
* Rotom-W

Other Options
=============

*Kingdra can also use Life Orb, but the recoil is inconvenient. Kingdra is already vulnerable to chip and priority, but by adding recoil you lose the option to switch-in and out often. Mention the benefits of using a Life Orb ie: being able to switch up moves
*Kingdra can also run Sniper+Scope Lens but that requires setting agility and focus energy which is too risky with that bulk. Overall, it's more of a gimmick set because of how difficult it is to properly utilize.This set is very iffy
*Kingdra's physical attack stat is the same as it's special one and it has access to great STAB moves like Outrage and Waterfall. While this set is possible, it's inconvenient because locking Kingdra into Outrage makes being revenged possible or can force it to be used outside of the rain. In addition, Waterfall is a weaker STAB move than Surf and Hydro Pump which is less desirable. Dragon Dance
*Dragon Pulse is a possible secondary STAB attack used for sweeping. it specifically shines in the dragon matchup as it can completely sweep with rocks up as only a few Dragon-types can live the hit i.e Goodra and Latias.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Specially Defensive Walls**: They wall everything Kingdra can dish out against them and they usually run status moves and/or entry hazards. However, not all Specially Defensive Pokemon will wall it mainly those that are immune or resist one or both of it's stabs such as Mantine, Toxapex, Jellicent, Gastrodon. Gastrodon typically runs physical defensive spread

**Chansey**: An exceptional wall that completely stalls out Kingdra. It can status it and set up Stealth Rock. Maybe be specific in what status Chansey spreads poison? paralysis?

**Mega Venusaur**: A hard pokemon to beat for water in general, it also walls Kingdra. It easily stalls out every move Kingdra uses. However, Kingdra can 2HKO with what move? it if it was weakened, or if it attempts to switch in while rocks are up or being a physically defensive set.

**Water-Types that are immune or resistant to dragon**: water types such as Tapu Fini, Empoleon and Azumarill easily switch-in on anything Kingdra uses and easily have a free turn to set up, lay hazards or even KO it. This kills momentum which is crucial for Kingdra. Maybe Specify what each Pokemon does to Kingdra is return

**Paralysis**: Once Paralyzed, Kingdra is completely useless when it comes to sweeping. It can take out some slower threats, but overall it would lose it's greatest asset.

**Residual Damage**: Kingdra needs to go in and out of the field pretty often during a battle so being worn down by small things like rocks, spikes or status, such as poisom or burn, can really make a change in a battle. With too much unnecessary damage, Kingdra loses to priority moves like Band Extreme Speed Dragonite.

**Alolan Raichu**: Being able to outspeed Kingdra in rain, paired along the electric attack Electric Terrain? boost in terrain makes Alolan Raichu a reasonable threat. If Kingdra suffers residual damage, it can get OHKO'ed by Alolan Raichu.

**Pokemon with the Trace ability**: Gardevoir and Mega Alakazam both outspeed Kingdra in rain by tracing Swift Swim and can revenge kill. Gardevoir can immediately KO it with Moonblast while Alakazam can take out a weakened Kingdra and possibly sweep the remainder of the team in the right conditions.
