Yes. If hack-checks are done before the battles start, and suspect trainers are allowed to realign their team, the whole thing lends itself to a kinder, more gentle event.They could have some rentals available, which wouldnt be ideal for anyone but atleast they would be able to compete. I mean they already hand out pokemon, why not have some charizards and alakazams somewhere with stadium rental style moves? But that might be unrealistic.
