[OVERVIEW]
Comfey is blessed with an incredibly unique ability in Triage, which grants it its niche over any other Fairy-type as a late-game cleaner. With +3 priority on Draining Kiss, Comfey is also able to revenge kill Pokemon such as Linoone, Flygon, Pangoro, Kommo-o, and Zoroark. Additionally, Comfey has an incredibly complementary movepool and stat distribution, with access to Taunt and a commendable Speed stat to prevent status and win Calm Mind wars, Calm Mind to increase bulk and offensive capabilities, and Draining Kiss for healing and a priority attack. However, Comfey's low physical bulk means that it is susceptible to stronger physical hits from Pokemon such as Bewear, Escavalier, and Doublade. Additionally, its typing has shortcomings offensively and defensively. Defensively, it is weak to Poison and Steel, making it vulnerable to Pokemon such as Nidoqueen, Salazzle, and Doublade. Offensively,it faces problems when against Steel-, Fire-, and Poison-types such as Registeel, Mega Steelix, Escavalier, Rotom-H, Nidoqueen, and Roserade. Furthermore, due to its incredibly average Special Attack stat and the low Base Power of its main attacking move, Draining Kiss, Comfey does not hit very hard without accumulating a few Calm Mind boosts.

Moves
========

Draining Kiss is Comfey's main attacking move and has +3 priority thanks to Triage. This priority allows Comfey to revenge kill incredibly threatening Pokemon such as Linoone, Pangoro, and Flygon. Calm Mind is Comfey's setup move, allowing it to boost both its Special Attack and its already respectable Special Defense. Taunt is useful against bulkier Pokemon such as Cresselia and Milotic, as it enables Comfey to prevent them from using their status moves. Synthesis provides Comfey with a more consistent form of recovery than Draining Kiss. While it is also given +3 priority by Triage, it unfortunately has very low PP, so be wary. Additionally, it recovers more HP in the sun, but far less in sand.

Set Details
========

252 Special Attack EVs with a Modest nature maximize Comfey's power, as it is forced into using a very weak attacking move. 20 Speed EVs are used to outspeed maximum Speed Bewear to use Twinkle Tackle or Taunt before it is able to attack Comfey. The remaining EVs are placed into HP to maximize Comfey's bulk. A Pixie Plate is chosen to further boost Comfey's attacking move, Draining Kiss. Fairium Z is an alternative item choice, providing Comfey with immunity to Trick and allowing it to revenge kill Bewear; Draining Kiss is a contact move, which means it does very little thanks to Fluffy.

Usage Tips
========

Comfey functions best as a late-game sweeper and should be saved until its checks and counters such as Registeel, Mega Steelix, Salazzle, Doublade, Roserade, Nidoqueen, and Escavalier are weakened or gone. However, should Nidoqueen lack Sludge Wave or Roserade lack Sludge Bomb, Comfey can beat them with the recovery from Synthesis and Draining Kiss. Comfey can find opportunities to set up against slower, bulkier Pokemon such as Milotic and Cresselia and against Pokemon that are likely to switch out such as Kommo-o and Pangoro. Taunt should be prioritized over boosting when facing a Pokemon with a status move; paralysis or Toxic poison could cut Comfey's sweep very short. Synthesis only has 8 PP, so be conservative with using it. In the same vein, while not exceedingly low, Draining Kiss has 16 PP, so be certain that it will be adequate for a sweep before setting up. While ideally saved for late-game, Comfey can function as a decent revenge killer due to Draining Kiss outprioritizing any attacks from would-be sweepers such as Flygon, Linoone, and Zoroark. Even with all of the Special Attack investment, Comfey is using a move that has only 50 Base Power; be certain it will actually be capable of revenge killing the foe before sending Comfey in. Calm Mind boosts are essential to sweeping, but due to the amount of Special Attack investment, Comfey won't need a large number of them. Calculate how many it will need given your opponent's team members so they have less time to KO Comfey with a critical hit.

Team Options
========

Spikers such as Chesnaught and Roserade are great partners for Comfey, as it loves the residual damage provided by entry hazards. In a similar vein, Dragalge pairs nicely with Comfey because it counters Roserade and Salazzle while having access to Toxic Spikes and Dragon Tail for increased residual damage. Steel-type partners can switch into Steel-type attacks aimed at Comfey and are immune to Poison-type attacks, making them desirable. Registeel and Mega Steelix are particularly fantastic teammate for Comfey, as they are very bulky and some of the best Stealth Rock setters in the tier. Escavalier and Doublade also pair nicely due to their ability to wallbreak and take advantage of Registeel. Comfey's ability to deal with Fighting-, Dark-, and Dragon-type threats such as Pangoro, Kommo-o, Zoroark, and Flygon is appreciated by more defensive teammates such as Umbreon, Registeel, Cresselia, and Rhyperior. Ground-type Pokemon such as Flygon and Rhyperior can make quick work of Steel-, Fire-, and Poison-types that are threats to Comfey. Psychic-types like Cresselia and Choice Scarf Gardevoir check Poison-types that give Comfey trouble such as Salazzle, Dragalge, and Roserade. Fire-types like Salazzle and Rotom-H pair nicely with Comfey, as they can threaten to OHKO most Steel-types and punish a predicted switch with either Nasty Plot or Volt Switch. Wallbreakers such as Choice Specs Gardevoir, Ghostium Z Hoopa, and Choice Specs Kommo-o pair nicely with Comfey, as they are able to break through problematic Pokemon or weaken them enough for Comfey to revenge kill.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
===================

Hidden Power Ground allows Comfey to hit Salazzle and Doublade super effectively. However, it lacks priority, forces Comfey to give up either Synthesis or Taunt, and does abysmal damage to Registeel. Aromatherapy allows Comfey to act as a cleric for itself and its teammates, but its limited PP prevents it from fully replacing Taunt's utility. Leech Seed provides Comfey with an alternative option for healing. Although it has more PP, its priority is not raised by Triage, and it is far less reliable than Synthesis.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel-types**: Comfey can't deal any meaningful damage to Steel-types, as its only attacking move is Draining Kiss. Steel-types such as Escavalier, Mega Steelix, and Doublade threaten Comfey with their STAB attacks, while Registeel threatens Comfey with Seismic Toss dealing more damage than Synthesis is able to reverse.

**Poison-types**: Comfey finds itself unable to deal with Poison-types particularly well, as they resist Draining Kiss. Dragalge does not resist Draining Kiss but has very high Special Defense and access to Adaptability, which allows it to deal heavy damage to Comfey. Roserade, similarly, has pretty good special bulk and can threaten Comfey with a powerful Sludge Bomb. Other threatening Poison-types include Venusaur and Salazzle.

**Strong Physical Attackers**: Comfey's Defense stat is not particularly high and its HP is especially low, making it vulnerable to strong physical attacks. Pokemon such as Snorlax, Toxicroak, Bewear, and Feraligatr are able to hit Comfey very hard with only neutral hits before it can set up.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types resist Draining Kiss, making them difficult for Comfey to break through without multiple Calm Mind boosts. Fire-types such as Moltres and Rotom-H can in turn threaten Comfey with their powerful STAB moves; additionally, Rotom-H can cripple Comfey by giving it a Choice item with Trick.

Remove the first bulletpoint from overview, Comfey is too frail to switch into anything most of the time, so just integrate that into the 2nd bulletpoint to say how she can use Draining Kiss to revenge said Pokemon.

Linebreak after [SET], it needs its own line then the set itself (you have [SET]name: atm). In taunt under modes, mention Cresselia instead of Registeel. For the EVs, we talked on discord.

Psychic-types such as Espeon, Hoopa, and Cresselia can deal with opposing Poison-types such as Salazzle, Dragalge, and Roserade that trouble Comfey.
Questionable statement cnsidering Salazzle outspeeds all 3 and does a fuckton of damage and Roserade outspeeds Hoopa and Cress and also does a lot of damage while having Sleep Powder.. consider removing or replacing it with something else.

Added; subbed out Espeon/Hoopa for Scarf Gardevoir and a Dragalge mention.

Zoroark is probably a better mention than Honchkrow as a mon it revenges since it's a lot more common in the current meta. I would also mention how it can actually beat nidoqueen that lack sludge wave under the right circumstances, thanks to the healing from synthesis / draining kiss + cm boosts. Looks good tho

Draining Kiss is Comfey's main attacking move, which has +3 priority thanks to Triage. Taunt is useful against bulkier Pokemon, (RC) such as Cresselia and Milotic, as Comfey is able to use Taunt on them before they are able to use their status moves. Synthesis provides Comfey with a more consistent form of recovery than Draining Kiss. While it is also given +3 priority by Triage, it unfortunately has very low PP, (AC) so be weary wary. Additionally, while it Synthesis recovers more HP in the sun, but it Synthesis will recovers far less in sand. (repetition of structure)

Set Details

The given EV spread of 236 HP / 252 Special Attack EVs / 20 Spe with a Modest Nature maximizes Comfey's offensive power, as it is forced into using a very low Base Power attacking move. 20 Speed EVs are used to outspeed maximum Speed Bewear, (RC) to use Twinkle Tackle or Taunt before it is able to attack you Comfey. The remaining EVs are placed into HP to maximize Comfey's physical and special bulk. A Pixie Plate is chosen to further boost Comfey's single attacking move, Draining Kiss. Fairium Z is an alternative item choice, providing Comfey immunity to Trick and allowing it to revenge kill Bewear, as due to Draining Kiss being is a contact move, (AC) which means it does very little thanks to Fluffy.

Spikers such as Chesnaught and Roserade are great partners for Comfey, as it loves the residual damage provided by entry hazards. In a similar vein, Dragalge pairs nicely with Comfey because Dragalge counters (clarity) due to it countering Roserade and Salazzle while having access to Toxic Spikes and Dragon Tail for increased residual damage. Steel-types partners resist opposing Steel-type attacks aimed at Comfey and are additionally also immune to Poison-type attacks, making them desirable teammates. Notably, (AC) Registeel is a fantastic supporter teammate for Comfey, as it is very bulky and one of the best Stealth Rock setters in the tier. Escavalier and Doublade also pairs nicely, (RC) due to their ability to wallbreak or and take advantage of opposing Registeel. Comfey's ability to deal with opposing Fighting-, Dark-, and Dragon-type threats such as Pangoro, Kommo-o, Zoroark, or and Flygon is appreciated by more defensive teammates such as Umbreon, Registeel, Cresselia, and Rhyperior. Ground-type Pokemon such as Flygon and Rhyperior can make quick work of opposing Steel-, Fire-, and Poison-types Pokemon that are a threat to Comfey. Psychic-types like Cresselia or and Choice Scarf Gardevoir pair nicely with Comfey due to their ability to (removes repetition) check Poison-types such as Salazzle, Dragalge, and Roserade which that give Comfey trouble. Fire-types such as Salazzle and Rotom-H pair nicely with Comfey, (AC) as due to how well (repetitive structure) they threaten opposing Steel-types. Both Pokemon can threaten an OHKO to on most Steel-types in the tier while also threatening to punish a predicted switch out, (RC) with either Nasty Plot or Volt Switch. Wallbreakers such as Choice Specs Gardevoir, Ghostium Z Hoopa, and Choice Specs Kommo-o pair nicely with Comfey, as they are able to break through problematic Pokemon or weaken them enough for Comfey to revenge kill.

Other Options
===================

Hidden Power Ground allows Comfey to hit Salazzle and Doublade super effectively, (RC) (AP). However, it lacks priority, forces Comfey to give up either Synthesis or Taunt, and does abysmal damage to Registeel. Aromatherapy allows Comfey to act as a cleric for itself and its teammates, however but the limited PP doesn't allow it to fully replace Taunt's utility. Leech Seed provides Comfey with an alternative option for healing. However, Although it has more PP, it's its priority is not raised by Triage, (AC) and it is far less reliable than Synthesis.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel-types**: Comfey can't deal any meaningful damage to Steel-types, (AC) as due to it's its only attacking move being is Draining Kiss, which has low Base Power and is resisted. Steel-types such as Escavalier and Doublade threaten Comfey with their STAB attacks, while Registeel threatens Comfey with Seismic Toss dealing more damage than Synthesis is able to sustain.

**Poison-types**: Comparable to Steel-types, (linking checks and counters) Comfey finds itself not able unable to deal with Poison-types particularly well, (AC) as they also resist Draining Kiss. Dragalage Dragalge, while not resisting Draining Kiss, has very high Special Defense and access to Adaptability, which allows it to deal heavy damage to Comfey. Roserade, similarly, has pretty good special bulk and can threaten Comfey with a powerful Sludge Bomb. Other threatening Poison-types include Venusaur and Salazzle.

**Strong Physical Attackers**: Comfey's Defense stat is not particularly high, and its HP is particularly (repetition of particularly, you can replace with a synonym) low, making it particularly vulnerable to strong physical attacks. Pokemon such as Snorlax, Toxicroak, Bewear, and Feraligatr are able to hit Comfey very hard with only neutral hits before it can set up.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types resist Draining Kiss, making it difficult for Comfey to break through them without considerable multiple Calm Mind boosts. Fire-types such as Moltres and Rotom-H can in turn threaten Comfey with their powerful STAB moves; additionally, Rotom-H can cripple Comfey by Tricking giving it a Choice item with Trick.

Hidden Power Ground allows Comfey to hit Salazzle and Doublade super effectively. However, it lacks priority, forces Comfey to give up either Synthesis or Taunt, and does abysmal damage to Registeel. Aromatherapy allows Comfey to act as a cleric for itself and its teammates, but the limited PP doesn't allow it to prevents it from fully replace replacing (also optional) Taunt's utility. Leech Seed provides Comfey with an alternative option for healing. Although it has more PP, its priority is not raised by Triage, and it is far less reliable than Synthesis.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel-types**: Comfey can't deal any meaningful damage to Steel-types, as its only attacking move is Draining Kiss, which has low Base Power and is resisted. Steel-types such as Escavalier and Doublade threaten Comfey with their STAB attacks, while Registeel threatens Comfey with Seismic Toss dealing more damage than Synthesis is able to sustain.

**Poison-types**: Comfey finds itself unable to deal with Poison-types particularly well, as they resist Draining Kiss. Dragalge, while not resisting Draining Kiss, has very high Special Defense and access to Adaptability, which allows it to deal heavy damage to Comfey. Roserade, similarly, has pretty good special bulk and can threaten Comfey with a powerful Sludge Bomb. Other threatening Poison-types include Venusaur and Salazzle.

**Strong Physical Attackers**: Comfey's Defense stat is not particularly high, and its HP is especially low, making it vulnerable to strong physical attacks. Pokemon such as Snorlax, Toxicroak, Bewear, and Feraligatr are able to hit Comfey very hard with only neutral hits before it can set up.

**Fire-types**: Fire-types resist Draining Kiss, making it difficult for Comfey to break through them without multiple Calm Mind boosts. Fire-types such as Moltres and Rotom-H can in turn threaten Comfey with their powerful STAB moves; additionally, Rotom-H can cripple Comfey by giving it a Choice item with Trick.

[OVERVIEW]
Comfey is blessed with an incredibly unique ability in Triage, which carves grants it its niche over any other Fairy-type as a late-game cleaner. With +3 priority on Draining Kiss, Comfey is also able to revenge kill Pokemon such as Linoone, Flygon, Pangoro, Kommo-o, and Zoroark. Additionally, Comfey has access to an incredibly complementary movepool and stat distribution, with access to Taunt and a commendable Speed stat to prevent status or and win Calm Mind wars, Calm Mind to increase bulk and offensive capabilities, and Draining Kiss for healing and a priority attack. However, Comfey a low base HP stat and mediocre base Defense mean Comfey Comfey's low physical bulk means that it is susceptible to stronger physical hits from Pokemon such as Bewear, Escavalier, and Doublade. Additionally, its mono-Fairy typing has shortcomings offensively and defensively. Defensively, it is weak to Poison and Steel, making it vulnerable to Pokemon such as Nidoqueen, Salazzle, and Doublade. Offensively, due to only sporting one attacking move, it faces shortcomings problems when against Steel-, Fire-, or and Poison-types, (comma) meaning it has trouble breaking through Pokemon such as Registeel, Escavalier, Rotom-H, Nidoqueen, and Roserade. Furthermore, due to its incredibly average Special Attack stat and the low Base Power of its main attacking move, Draining Kiss, Comfey does not hit very hard without accumulating a few Calm Mind boosts.

Moves
========

Draining Kiss is Comfey's main attacking move, (comma) which and has +3 priority thanks to Triage. The priority of Draining Kiss This priority allows Comfey to revenge kill incredibly threatening Pokemon such as Linoone, Pangoro, and Flygon. Additionally, Synthesis it recovers more HP in the sun, but it recovers far less in sand.

Set Details
========

252 Special Attack EVs with a Modest nature maximize Comfey's power, as it is forced into using a very low Base Power weak attacking move. Fairium Z is an alternative item choice, providing Comfey with immunity to Trick and allowing it to revenge kill Bewear,; (semi) as Draining Kiss is a contact move, which means it does very little thanks to Fluffy.

Usage Tips
========

Comfey functions best as a late-game sweeper and should be saved until its checks and counters such as Registeel, Salazzle, Doublade, Roserade, Nidoqueen, and Escavalier are weakened or gone. However, should Nidoqueen lack Sludge Wave or Roserade lack Sludge Bomb, Comfey can beat them with the recovery from Synthesis and Draining Kiss. Comfey can find opportunities to set up against slower, bulkier Pokemon such as Milotic and Cresselia. (per) Alternatively, Comfey can find an opportunity to set up and against Pokemon that are likely to switch out, (comma) such as Kommo-o and Pangoro. Taunt should be prioritized over boosting when facing a Pokemon with a status move; paralysis or Toxic poison could cut Comfey's sweep very short. Synthesis only has 8 PP, so be conservative with using it. In the same vein, while not exceedingly low, Draining Kiss only has 16 PP, so be certain that it will be adequate for a sweep before setting up. While ideally saved for late-game, Comfey can function as a decent revenge killer due to Draining Kiss outprioritizing any other attacking moves of attacks from would-be sweepers such as Flygon, Linoone, and Zoroark. Even with all of the Special Attack investment, Comfey is still using only a 50-Base Power move that has only 50 Base Power; be certain it will actually be capable of revenge killing the foe before sending Comfey in. Calm Mind boosts are essential to sweeping, but due to the amount of Special Attack investment, Comfey won't need a large number of them. Calculate how many it will need given your opponent's team members so they have less time to KO Comfey with a critical hit.

Team Options
========

Spikers such as Chesnaught and Roserade are great partners for Comfey, as it loves the residual damage provided by entry hazards. In a similar vein, Dragalge pairs nicely with Comfey because Dragalge it counters Roserade and Salazzle while having access to Toxic Spikes and Dragon Tail for increased residual damage. Steel-types partners can switch into opposing Steel-type attacks aimed at Comfey and are also immune to Poison-type attacks, making them desirable teammates. Notably, Registeel is a particularly fantastic teammate for Comfey, as it is very bulky and one of the best Stealth Rock setters in the tier. Escavalier and Doublade also pair nicely due to their ability to wallbreak and take advantage of Registeel. Comfey's ability to deal with opposing Fighting-, Dark-, and Dragon-type threats such as Pangoro, Kommo-o, Zoroark, and Flygon is appreciated by more defensive teammates such as Umbreon, Registeel, Cresselia, and Rhyperior. Ground-type Pokemon such as Flygon and Rhyperior can make quick work of opposing Steel-, Fire-, and Poison-types that are a threats to Comfey. Psychic-types like Cresselia and Choice Scarf Gardevoir check Poison-types that give Comfey trouble such as Salazzle, Dragalge, and Roserade that give Comfey trouble. Fire-types such as like Salazzle and Rotom-H pair nicely with Comfey, as they threaten opposing Steel-types. Both Pokemon can threaten an to OHKO on most Steel-types in the tier while also threatening to and punish a predicted switch with either Nasty Plot or Volt Switch. Wallbreakers such as Choice Specs Gardevoir, Ghostium Z Hoopa, and Choice Specs Kommo-o pair nicely with Comfey, as they are able to break through problematic Pokemon or weaken them enough for Comfey to revenge kill.
