Other Metagames Balanced Hackmons Sub/Setup Team

Hey smogon,

This month brought an amazing twist on one of my favorite metagames, balanced hackmons. Now, I can wreak havoc with twice as many mons on the field!

TEAM CONCEPT.

Basically, I always lead with Deoxys and another mon that has the best potential to sweep. Dark void, sub up, and win.

UsainBolt (Deoxys-Speed) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Turboblaze
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dark Void
- Light Screen
- Knock Off
- Stealth Rock

Standard lead of the team. Max speed jolly to outspeed all non-scarfers. Turboblaze over prankster because I hate magic bounce. Rocks for shedinja. I have light screen for support, also instead of reflect because ttar can typically get some monster defense from diamond storm alone. Knock off to get rid of items, for damage, and for killing shedinja.

Darude (Tyranitar-Mega) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Simple
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Shift Gear
- Diamond Storm
- Sucker Punch

Typically my lead along with deoxys. 99% of the time I sub turn one. I have a lum berry because It counters prankster sleep as well as magic coating my own dark voice. Shift-gear simple combo with diamond storm to hit both opponents and for STAB. Sucker punch for priority. This is typically the pokemon that punches the most holes into other teams, because shift gear diamond storm smacks almost everything barring stuff like unaware steels.

Squaw (Rayquaza-Mega) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Tail Glow
- Oblivion Wing
- Spore

The alternate lead. Spore is self explanatory. Sub-tail glow is essentially the same concept as ttar. Tail glow up and start oblivioning things to oblivion. Gale wings gives my the priority I need because ray get get hit with stuff like refrigerate boomburst while behind the sub. Not much else to say.

Deyonce (Diancie-Mega) @ Pixie Plate
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Fake Out
- King's Shield
- Extreme Speed
- Last Resort

Offensive glue of the team. Pretty standard set but it works so well. If I play it right, I can typically fire off a few last resorts before it goes down. Fake out is extremely nice with so much priority and dragons running around. Kings shield over spiky shield because I would rather have attack drops on certain mons than extra damage. Espeed for extra priority and for a pretty hard hitting move.

HardBody (Steelix-Mega) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Magma Storm
- Leech Seed
- Taunt
- Recover

Defense part one and uber shedinja counter. Sand stream is really nice, especially because only lugia and deoxys take damage from it. Magma storm for trapping and so I'm not taunt bait, as well as damaging steels a fair amount. Leech seed as well as recover for, well, recovery. Taunt is very crucial to stop set up sweepers and crafty shield/wide/quick guard so my offensive mons can do their work. Max spdef and HP because steelix already has insane defense.

Beluga (Lugia) @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Heart Swap
- Spore
- Baton Pass
- Recover

Defense part two. I think every team should have a prankster user, and mine lies here. Prankster spore/heart swap has saved so many games for me it's not even funny. Recover for obvious reasons. I typically sack something and go into Beluga if a sweeper is getting out of hand, take away the stats, then baton pass them into something appropriate.

So that's the team. It has been working fairly well; I think I am 17 on the ladder right now. Any rates or changes would be appreciated. Thanks!

So what do you do against a steel type? Like say, the ever so common Prankster Registeel / Aegislash?
I switched out mega ray for this reshiram set:

Reshiram @ Lum Berry
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- V-create
- Superpower
- Draco Meteor
- Roost
