Ariados (NU Analysis)

http://www.smogon.com/rs/pokemon/ariados

[Overview]
- Venomoth/Seviper mostly outclasses it but Ariados has a few niches over them. (Higher Attack and Defense)
- Pretty slow, but hits decently hard.
- Insomnia helps against pokemon that want to use sleep moves on you.
[SET]
name: Choice Band
move 1: Sludge Bomb
move 2: Signal Beam
move 3: Hidden Power Rock / Hidden Power Ground / Hidden Power Ghost
move 4: Double-Edge
item: Choice Band
nature: Adamant
evs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP

[SET COMMENTS]
- Send it in on something thats choice locked and get a really nice Sludge Bomb or Signal Beam on them. Hidden Power Rock hits other Bug/Flying types hard, Hidden Power Ground hits Steel types and Hidden Power Ghost hits Haunter. Double-Edge is mainly filler but can be used for neutral damage on something.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]
- Max Speed is used for pokemon with lower speed than Ariados.
- Choice Band Ariados reaches 459 Attack and hits really hard with STAB Sludge Bomb/Signal Beam.
