It seems to be the case that the legendaries are generated before normal mons, so you should (probably) be fine using the first slot.

.com already replied with info about the Mac OSX app, but in case you were asking about the iOS app, I'll just add that while it currently has the ability to search for your SID, it lacks full TID abuse support (for example, if you want to abuse to make a roamer PID be shiny). It is, however...

IDs are generated by the PIDRNG. However, the initial frame advancements are different when starting a new game vs. continuing a saved game.

Depending on the DS model and whether you are soft resetting (and assuming you're not limiting whatever you're doing to English games), I've seen: VFrame: 6,8,9, A VCount: too many to remember, but 5f, 60, 8c, 8d, AC, AD come mind

You should also be able to use Pandora's box or PPRNG's Trainer ID Searcher to find it by searching on a single date (your game file's start date, on the back of your trainer card) for your TID. PPRNG for iPhone has a search function specifically for this purpose as well.

If you are having trouble getting stable results when calibrating (particularly when using the IV method), either one of your settings in your profile is wrong (double check the MAC address to make sure there aren't any mix ups between Bs and 8s, for example), or there is a problem with your...

Just a quick note that an update for the iPhone version of PPRNG has been released that includes a (free) function for searching for your SID based on your TID and the date you started your game. It's not very accurate (multiple results are usually returned) because the search space is large...

Sorry, I missed the notification for your post somehow. I haven't seen this exact issue before, but PPRNG just uses the standard system controls for date entry, so my guess is that you have changed how the date is displayed on your Mac. You can check in System Settings to see how you've...

PPRNG on iOS has a timer included. The intention is that you shouldn't need any other app on your iPhone/iPad to do 5th gen RNG.

I never worked on any Windows RNG tools. PPRNG is only for Mac and iPhone (maybe this is an option for you? But it costs a bit of money). One or two other people started work on a Windows version of PPRNG (the Mac version is open source), but they seem to have given up.

If you are not getting any valid calibration results with PPRNG, you won't get any valid results in RNG Reporter. The problem is either in your configuration (MAC Address, DS type, or game version), or in how you are starting your game (start from main 3DS menu, ensuring your DS's date and time...

If it was in slot 6, and there were two Porygon, what were the other 3 Pokemon? The gender is fixed for Dream Radar when you catch the Pokemon. You can't choose it. It seems to be female more often than male, but if the DR game has caught a male Pokemon, it will always be male. This will...

The PID can change based on the TID and SID of the user. The PID and IVs are what determine the Characteristic, so it's quite normal for the Characteristic to be different for a different TID/SID combination.

Just wanted to let people know that the latest version of PPRNG for iOS lets you calibrate using the spinner that appears when you save your game. The method is essentially the same as using the Unova Link spinner, but it allows you to calibrate your Black and White games as soon as you start...
