  1. When Sparks Fly - iFly vs. Corruptodile!

Great warstory. I love double commentaries since you get a ton of insight. And this battle had tons of great prediction. The hax wasn't too* game-changing, so I'm fine with it. 9.5/10
  2. Lucario

Why Dark Pulse on the Nasty Plot set? Shadow Ball outclasses it. Same damage, but with the possibility of a nice SpD drop. Even nabs a little better neutral coverage.
  3. Whiscash gets Dragon Dance? A rain semi stall team

Parasect is surprisingly good at SubSeed in the rain. I like it. Whiscash has the potential to be amazing because HydraRest DD is just that, but it doesn't really like having only two moveslots. I wish it had Outrage, because it could work like a broken Kingdra then. Oh well. As for your...
  4. The Rise of Jolteon

Team At A Glance Team Building Process I started the team when I saw Jolteon's new ability Quick Feet and Volbeat's new ability Mischievous Heart as well as the wonderful boost to Tail Glow. At first, I dismissed Quick Feet Jolteon as useless, but then I realized that in combination with...
  5. Gamageroge

Hydration would make it a beast in rain. Or even Rain Dish. I would prefer Rain Dish over Dry Skin because it isn't screwed over by Sunny Day, which will be much more common this gen because of DroughtTales.
  6. Venomoth

Why Bug Buzz/Sludge Bomb? Wouldn't Bug Buzz/Psychic work better?
  7. Genesect

I wish Techno Buster didn't completely suck. Why is the base power so low? It's lower than that of the beams/bolts making it completely useless. If it was physical or 100 base power or so, it would be a really good move if losing your item didn't really matter to you. Oh well.
  8. Heracross

Guts seems to be better. Warubiaru, Gyara, and Mence can use Overconfidence much better than Heracross. Heracross... Well... Should stick to Guts abuse. If you can pass it a speed boost or 2 though from Ninjask or Blaziken, Overconfidence could be very scary. Or with Paralysis support from...
  9. Deoxys-D

I LOVE the pseudo hazing set. It's like Skarm on Steroids. And it can calm mind up instead of wasting a turn phazing.
  10. Gengar

Gengar is a bad hazer/phazer. It may be fast and have good immunities/resists, but it's much too frail. There are much better options if you're looking for a hazer/phazer.
  11. Baokki (Fire Monkey)

It's got Recycle as an advantage over Arcanine in UU and Nape in OU. Gluttony + Recycle is actually very interesting...
  12. Harvest

2 abilities at once... Scary thought. Overconfidence/Intimidate Warubiaru would be an insanely scary revenge killer. Weaken them when switching in, and destroy them with a normal attack or kill them on the predicted switch and nab an attack boost while you're at it... Damn, why would you mention...
  13. Golurk

Toxic won't really "hurt" walls. Blissey won't switch into a Pokemon with No Guard DynamicPunch, and Toxic doesn't even affect Skarm and Nattorei which are the best physical walls. Poison Heal Gliscor not only walls it extremely well, it also LOVES being toxic-ed for extra healing which means...
  14. Tropius

Incinerate is hardly an issue. It's a waste of a moveslot. 30BP won't be useful for anything. If anything, the main issue would be something like a Pokemon with Tension. Or for stall sets, Taunt/Encore. And even though Exeggutor pulls it better because it can still hit hard even with defensive...
  15. Stoutland

Scrappy Extremespeed would have been incredible, and would have given this guy a solid niche. The other notable dogs (Lucario & Arcanine) get Extremespeed, why not Muurando?
  16. Cinccino

I haven't seen a single Sub-Punch Breloom yet, and they were as omnipresent as Heatran and Scizor last gen. If I ever see Breloom, it seems to be a Technician Mach Punch variation with Swords Dance. Very different from the good ole standard Breloom we know from Gen 4.
  17. Cinccino

I would prefer Technician. The possibility of only hitting twice well, sucks, but it's got nice power. Between the Technician boosted multi-hit moves and Tech boosted Wake-Up Slap for coverage or Tech U-turn for scouting/switching out of threats/walls, I think it's set. It's also got blazing...
  18. On a Wing and a Prayer

Goruggo is quite beastly. Rock Polish really helps it out. I wish it was Fighting/Ghost though. STAB on Dynamicpunch and Shadow Punch with perfect neutral coverage would be beautiful. Just beautiful.
  19. Sigilyph

You don't need an SR number considering... ya know... it has Magic Guard. No damage from Rocks anyways.
  20. Honchkrow

Shanderaa can't kill T-Tar. Not without Specs and the perfect move at least.
