Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Okay, I've always been a casual player, sometimes dependent on google translate, but this "Defensive Utility" argument is being used by the DnB side, seriously?
While it has an absurd sweep potential and we deal with Schrödinger's Moth both in teambuild and in preview and play, does it still...

Hello stall players.
I would like to bring my view on the style and ask some questions, some of which I will also answer for myself.
Are we playing with stall or just playing not to lose?
Are we able to build teams or are we just accumulating 6 "required" Pokémon to fill as many gaps as...
This reminds me of Zygarde in generation 7. Zygarde had "counters" for everything he set out to do, he couldn't execute everything at the same time, but he always adapted no matter what innovation came to stop him.
And well, he was banned and the metagame became a better place.
And Volcarona...

I still think it's early but as it's an interesting question, Kyurem certainly becomes even more free to click brainless Ice-moves.
Moltres may gain a niche because of Flame Body and Iron Moth will be something many will try as a replacement, although it lacks Quiver Dance.
When was Finchinator's personal Twitter account attached to this thread? Leave the guy alone.

Clod is the exception that maintains the rule. Although you almost always need to perform the same set with minimal variations as it checks specific things.
Its typing is interesting, and so is its movepool, although it lacks recovery beyond Pain Split.
My guess is just because of powercreep, a Pokemon with 490 base stat total doesn't have much of a chance in this insane meta.
Its weakness to Ground (when not using Levitate) and Steel reminds us of...
Tera Blast is a dead slot unless you find the right matchup, and it still forces you to burn your Terastal on the Pokémon.
With so much powercreep in the generation we still have few abusers who stand out for using Tera Blast. Many have just a niche like the Hydrapple stall, others are abusers...
I don't believe Game Freak will want to go through the trouble of adding Megas in the current generation.
The most that Legends Z can provide us with is a few variants of the Kalosian form, as was the case with Hisui/LoA. And this is likely at the end of 2025. Plus compatibility considerations...
